Brian was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. After earning a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and athletic training from Southern Utah University, he completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2014. Immediately after graduation, Brian joined the staff at RehabAuthority in Nampa and has been Clinic Director since 2016.

Brian is dedicated to keeping his knowledge and skills to the highest standard. Since completing his doctorate program, he has regularly attended courses across the country to expand his understanding of examination and therapeutic intervention. Brian has earned certifications in the Mulligan Concept of manual therapy (CMP) and in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (Cert. MDT). In 2019 when dry needling practice became available for physical therapists in Idaho, Brian began his certification process and he has been utilizing this treatment inpatient care with great success ever since.

Brian is an avid believer in physical therapy. He believes that movement is healthy and results in improving the overall well-being of our society. Helping others reach their personal goals with regards to their daily function is his primary goal each and every day. Playing sports such as softball, basketball, and pickleball are his favorite past times, as well as rooting on the Utah Jazz. He is blessed every day by the support of his wonderful wife Nicole and their four beautiful children.

Kyla was born and raised in Marsing, Idaho. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from BSU, she began working as a rehab technician at RehabAuthority in 2017. During that time, she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree and graduated from the College of Western Idaho in May 2019. She then transitioned into working as a PTA.

Kyla enjoys providing soft tissue work when treating her patients and utilizes the Fascial Distortion Model frequently to ease her patients’ pain and get them back to living their lives and enjoying the things they love. When she’s not at work she is spending time with her husband and son. She also enjoys singing, playing guitar and piano, and doing anything active or outdoors.

Yadira enjoys working with orthopedic prehab and post-surgical patients. Yadira's active lifestyle has played a role in her treatment interventions, and she is always researching and communicating with coworkers to provide the best treatment possible for her patients. After work hours she love to do outside walks, hikes, get a workout in and enjoy spending time with family & friends.

Todd was born in Portsmouth, Va and went to U.S. Marine Corps bootcamp after graduating high school in Huntington Beach, CA. He retired from the Corps in 2019 after serving 22 years on active duty. After having 2 surgeries, the physical therapy he went through sparked his interest in the human anatomy. He became an ACE-certified personal trainer and enjoyed helping others reach their set goals and guiding them along the way. He completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program from Carrington College, Boise in March 2023.

Todd enjoys educating his patients throughout their journey to recovery. As a student, he attended the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) to help in this process. In his off time he is active in his church and enjoys fishing, hunting, snowboarding and completing his honey do list. He goes camping with his beautiful wife who has blessed him with their 5 children.

Blood Flow Restriction Training, also abbreviated as BFRT, is an innovative physical therapy treatment our therapists are utilizing that helps patients achieve greater strength gains while lifting lighter loads, thereby reducing the overall stress on the musculoskeletal system.

All of the team were awesome to work with including Crystal at the front desk. Each were thorough and consistent in explaining and adjusting exercises as needed and giving home exercises. They even have an app with video to make sure you're doing them right and keep you on track. Todd, Abby and Intern Josh were the ones I worked with the most. Despite some of the usual discomforts of physical therapy, they made it an enjoyable.

My experience has been amazing at Rehab Authority in Nampa. I started my therapy in excruciating pain, but with the help and care of the dedicated staff at Rehab I’m pain free. These guys are great, I had bilateral release on my knees and was experiencing a lot of pain and difficulty doing normal things for around 3 months after. My doctor set me up with these guys for physical therapy, I’m around a month in and my knees have improved so much. I have little to no pain for most activities. Easy going atmosphere and they encourage you to do your best. Great knowledge, great advice, great people.

Rehab Authority is the best physical therapy place in the Treasure Valley. Brian, Nate, Todd and Yahti are hands down the most talented and knowledgeable therapists I have ever worked with. They are super intuitive and have the training and knowledge to fix any issues and have helped improve my quality of life. This team is a must see if you are in need of fixing!

I've been seen here twice now, once for a knee injury and currently due to a car accident. The staff is amazing and super friendly. They do such a great job at making you feel cared for and have a smooth recovery. When I got into my accident I got in touch with them and they were able to squeeze me in the next day.

Please wear or bring comfortable athletic/workout clothing to change into. This includes shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt and sneakers. Your attire should also allow easy access to your injured area for treatment by your physical therapist.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand than an occasional emergency or illness may arise, in which case you may have to cancel your appointment closer to your scheduled time.

We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. Before your initial visit, we will verify in and out of network benefits with your insurance company. The cost of therapy is determined by the benefits of your insurance plan, including the deductible and co-pay, or patient percentage. We are happy to check with your insurance company to determine the terms of your coverage. Payment for patient responsibility is due at the time of service.
