Originally founded by Margaret Gokey, MS, OTR/L, ret CHT in 1993 as California Hand Rehabilitation.  Upon her retirement, Mary Ann Martinez, OTR/L, CHT has taken over the helm to further continue its growth.  Our mission is simple:  provide the best Occupational therapy, Hand therapy and Wellness services. 

California Hand Rehabilitation and Wellness is dedicated to serving the Occupational and Hand therapy needs of the Napa Valley and surrounding communities.  As occupational therapists, we look at you as a whole person and consider all your needs.

We have the experience and skills necessary to tackle just about every type of job that comes our way. We use various soft tissue mobilization methods including Integrated Manual Therapy, Myofascial Release, Strain Counterstrain, Block Therapy, Myofascial Cupping, and Tuning Fork Therapy.

Since opening our doors, California Hand Rehabilitation and Wellness has developed and grown, mostly because of ourexceptional team. We’re proud of our staff’s abilities to contribute their unique experience and skillsin your rehabilitation and to our continuing success.

since 2005.  Mary Ann is trained in various soft tissue management techniques including Integrative Manual Therapy, Myofascial Release, Strain Counterstrain, Active Release Technique and currently working to be a Block Therapy Instructor. 

Occupational Therapist since 2018, graduated from University of Colorado.  She has experience in pediatrics, home health, skilled nursing and hand therapy.  Andrea is a certified FMT Basic and RockFloss practitioner and studying to be an Egoscue Postural Alignment Specialist.

Occupational Therapist since 1993, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the distinguished Occupational Therapy program at University of Southern California.  He's worked in acute, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation units, and hand therapy (since 2008).  

Ken has been living in Napa since 1996, enjoys tending to his classic bungalow, garden, and spending time with his wife and boys.  He can speak Spanish.

Graduated with Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy in April 2021.  Dual experience working in hand therapy and pediatric therapy.  Taylor plans to get her Masters in OT - but first, on to getting her Bachelors in Psychology.

She lives in a farm with many animals including her pet calf, Joey.  She enjoys camping, hiking, rollerblading and works on the side selling delicious gourmet corndogs with the family.

Experience working in the medical industry as a medical receptionist since 2000 in Napa.  She is bilingual and has been invaluable in assisting our Spanish speaking patients.
