Newport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Experiencia positiva: Very nice staff. Great technology for visitor badging. Sadly, this visit the patient room was drab. View was a fence. No plants, bushes, flowers, etc. The facility did not smell fresh as it had a few years ago when I last visited.

Experiencia fantástica: Checking in to visit is high tech, secure, efficient, and professional. It strongly influences the sense of safety, security, and thoroughness that you want for your loved one staying in a facility such as this. The experience starts and ends the same as the staff carries on with same qualities, adding a good does of compassion !

Experiencia fantástica: I currently have a family member here after a knee replacement and we were all pleasantly surprised. Clean, modern finishes, happy/upbeat staff, and apparently the food is delicious! There are two guests per room, and there are French doors that open to a little patio. If you’re lucky and get an interior room, you’ll face a cute courtyard with walking paths. There’s also a covered patio area and bbq. If you’re looking for a place to recover, definitely check it out. It seems like the majority of patients are recovering from surgery, at least for us it didn’t give off that depressing nursing home feel. Much different than the other places visited.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at Newport nursing rehabilitation are welcoming and very helpful. We consistently conduct evaluations for residents and the individuals are always pleasant. The Director of Nursing is very compassionate and supportive.

Experiencia fantástica: I have gone there to visit my mother approximately 8-9 times over the past 7 weeks or so. The facility and grounds are beautiful; the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive; and the food is good too. My 88 year old mother was in a similar rehabilitation center about 10 months prior, for the same reason: broken pelvis; and the difference between the two are beyond comparison. Happy Camper????
