Experiencia fantástica: This was the second time I had a surgical procedure at this hospital. The first in 2021 and just two days ago. Both times I was extremely impressed with the friendly & professional treatment from the Patient Care Assistant, RN, Anesthesiologist and every staff member I dealt with during the procedure. As I mentioned this was my second surgery, the first I was a bit nervous but this time was not the case. I had complete confidence in this staff and totally impressed with the consistency of compassion and professionalism from these people. Thank You NWH preoperative and surgery staff members!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This 5-star review is for Matt, the greeter in the ER. I don't typically leave reviews, but ​Matt needed some recognition and a post about good news instead of bad. I hope this will reach the right people. Walking into the emergency room can be very stressful, and truthfully, so is leaving, but the person who greeted everyone when they came and went made everyone feel at ease. I was so impressed that I went out of my way to make sure I got his name. Matt was so friendly & happy and really cared about making people feel better. The ER was very busy, so I had a lot of time to observe him while waiting. Matt went out of his way to help people figure out where to go and never rushed anyone. I watched him help numerous nervous patients get in their wheelchairs, assist with adjustments to their footrests, and make sure they were comfortable. Matt listened and helped calm the patients and seemed to make the whole situation more manageable. I heard him happily engage with incoming patients to set reasonable expectations by reminding guests to settle in comfortably because it might be a while.​ People who were leaving were very thankful for Matt's help and his sincere blessing for quick healing & a blessed day. He did this all without any idea that anyone was watching. Seeing someone who wanted to make a tough day better for someone else was refreshing.​ Give this man a promotion, and put him in charge of training other greeters! He will likely thrive.
