Experiencia negativa: DO NOT let your family members stay here. We live next door and they keep their patient's windows open 24/7, so we can hear patients being abused and yelling for help daily. There's a poor old man that groans all day long and is completely ignored, when they finally help him, they just yell at him and hurt him and we can hear it happen. We contacted the police but they need more evidence to pursue (we are currently recording the noises). They should probably close all the windows if they're going to treat patients like this.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had the pleasure of having a client stay at Mesa Verde for several weeks. I was impressed right from the start, before my client had even arrived. Bianca arranged a special bariatric bed and was warm and welcoming. Upon arriving, Nurse Jeanette could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Every employee I met could not have been nicer! The environment is very clean and bright. I would highly recommend this facility if you or a loved one needs care.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been here for a bit more than 2 weeks, but watching the staff interaction days so very much! There are several staff here that have 20+ years on the staff here. That REALLY said a whole lot about the facility and how it's run, treats it's family of staff, the longevity of the crew etc. As everyone knows, environments like these, by their very nature, have points that they make beautifully, as we ll as points unused otherwise missed in these settings. Bottom linqe, unless you are using an exclusive , high dollar facility unavailable to most of the population, there will be a rough spot here and there After spending time getting the lay of the land, and settling in, I can say with reasonable attention and communication that your needs will be met with competence! I feel as tho I can also say with confidence, this will reset my health priorities, and just get better. Taking into account the holistic approach, meaning treatment of the WHOLE person is key. The food isn't my favorite, it's not gourmet meals, but they aren't terrible. If you pay attention, and ask the meal ahead, for an alternative, food it's totally worth the effort . Think ppl look The therapists you'll find here are top notch, PT, OP, SPE, all are amazing, kind, companionate, professional and tough as they need to be. From what I've experienced, this is hands down, top notch care. From Geo, nurse in charge and extraordinary in all he does, to wound care specialist, and a long list of truly gifted RN's, LVN's, spectacular group of cna's, and must mention maintenance crew, and naturally the Admin is key, and these seem to navigate the waters with precision and compassion. So if you have a loved one needing care, or seek it for yourself, you will be pleased! Got well soon!

Experiencia negativa: My review of this facility below. 1. CNAs: Inconsistent, poor response times, often more than 1-2+ hours - particularly late evening and overnight. Smacks of constant, recurring staffing challenges. Has been going on for quite a number of months now. Nearly had to call 911 on 4/22 when no one initially responded to an urgent call for care. Often rude and disrespectful CNAs. Disgraceful! Grade: D- 2. Roommate Situation: Have experienced more than my share of troubled roommates since being admitted here. Well documented issues, history of multiple incarcerations. Alarming and worrisome. Grade: C 3. Meal Service: Very inconsistent. I've rarely been given the opportunity to communicate dietary changes to kitchen management. Food quality and preparation need significant improvement. Further, ordering from outside seems to be either hit or miss. Often, there is no one to hand off orders to; and even when there is, I've had to wait 20+ addl minutes of time to receive the order, resulting in cold food. Grade: D 4. Nursing/Medication Services: Wildly inconsistent. Various medication nurses deliver them. Sometimes I've failed to receive required medications at all during a shift, or I receive different ones depending upon who my medication nurse is on that shift. Some nurses display a very poor attitude, lack of professionalism and/basic empathy toward patients needing aid or assistance. One in particular is an absolute Karen, sticking her nose into every possible situation not her business and inflaming matters. Often have to wait a week to get bathed when a regular shower day is missed by a CNA. Grade: D- 5. Business/Social Services: Sluggish, inconsistent response times, particularly with regard to doctor appts. Also, very difficult to get assistance from Social Services employees when needed. Excessive delays in getting relocated to assisted living facility. Grade: C- 6. Internet: Major, known issue. Repeated complaints absent any resolution. If you happen to be housed in a part of the facility with limited or no signal, and the patient has to incur excessive data fees, then that's just the way it is. Corporate ownership steadfastly refuses to allocate the funds necessary to make these fixes. I've been told on multiple occasions that they are in no way 'obligated' to do so. Update: Wifi has noticeably improved finally in the past 2 weeks. Grade: C+ 7. Parcel Deliveries: Once again, hit or miss. More often than not, deliveries arrive and are accepted within normal business hours, but because Activities personnel often go home early, I don't receive my item(s) until the following day or thereafter. Grade C 8. Overall: Caustic, derisive, vindictive and retaliatory administrative/management reaction to legitimate grievances, often accompanied by retort and intimidation. A pervasive toxic culture of mismanagement and neglect. Just one example? Will force me to discuss roommate and other private issues with my roommate just a few feet away. Unprofessional and a clear HIPAA privacy violation. Occurs all the time in this place. As a reviewer has already mentioned, very little compassion or dignity at this place. Very deserving of it's low overall rating. Overall Grade: D+

Experiencia negativa: I am currently a patient here at Mesa Verde here for rahbilitation but feels more like rehaboardation , I prefer to be anonymous, as I feel any acknowledgement of who I am would result in a means of retaliation. Currently at this location in regard to activities or a means of rehab there are none available to us patients. The Director is unprofessional and extremely derogatory toward all patients including myself. I have heard her yelling at staff and/or patients from rooms down the hall. The evening staff overall is horrible. I don't know how they hire night time personnel but I do not feel comfortable nor would I recommend anyone to come at night regardless of availability. Overall the daytime crew and personnel outside the director is enjoyable and better than my last place I was sent to for PT, the directors attitude and demeanor needs to change.

The staff are nice and they really attend to the needs of the resident in a holistic way. I truly recommend this faculity for your loved ones to have the best nursing care ever.

Experiencia fantástica: I have done my clinical here and absolutely adore the staff! They’re really fluent with their role in the facility and take kind care of the residents! This facility is clean and spacious for activities. I am looking forward to applying here once I’m done with my CNA program!!

Experiencia fantástica: I did my CNA clinical here and it was all that I could ask for. All the staff were really nice and accommodating! They taught us everything we need for the exam, especially for when we start working as a CNA. I surely recommend this facility for your loved ones if you want the best care they could get.

Experiencia fantástica: Mesa Verde Convalescent Hospital I will give it a 5 out of 5—one of the best nursing home facilities in California. The building is well-kept, clean, and safe for the staff and residents. Teams are nice and friendly. My students learned how to take care of elderly patients with their ADLs. CNAs are the best, and the charge nurses as well. And the DSD, Ms. Yessica ❤️ AGAIN, thank you for allowing me and my students to be at Mesa Verde for the clinical hours. I wish you and your team the best of luck.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom has worked there for 6 years now and she gets along with everyone including the patients. When I go to take or give her something, they always treat me with respect and kindness!!!!

Experiencia negativa: They don't have kitchen personnel they use housekeeping to cook and other personnel recently some one called sick in the kitchen and they did not accept the call .so the ill person come to work even she was sick. With covid19 and some one else got it too very irresponsible.

Experiencia negativa: Bottom line they do not care at all for their patients. My mom has had a broken TV for over 6 months. You can leave messages until your're blue in the face for them to fix the TV with Zero results. You would probably receive better care at an animal shelter than this place. No compassion or dignity for the elderly here just a money making factory.

Experiencia negativa: There is no therapy given to my room mate when he has been requesting it for two weeks. I have only seen my doctor once in the three weeks I have been there. The nurses are incredibly rude and not compassionate in any way what's so ever. I was forced to call an ambulance to be seen by a doctor because my nurse told me she was changing shifts and I would have to wait. The food is horrible. The patients are mistreated. The staff is incredibly lazy. You can smell the feces in the halls constantly I have been here for three weeks and I am incredibly dissatisfied. I have gotten two infections here from the place being so dirty and am now back at the hospital to get proper treatment

Experiencia fantástica: I was very happy and lucky be here.All of the people are kind sweet and professional I came for rehab after knee replacement Tteamwork worked great for me. Loved the Physical therapy Nurses were kind and Management. The Administrator personally spoke kindly my Case Manager Kat Young educated me during my stay provided great customer service. I plan on having my other knee done, I will definitely return to Mesa Verde ! They are the BEST!

Experiencia fantástica: alot of the people here that leave reviews like to give the nurses and doctors grief. when they dont realize the workers here have a lot of pressure to deal with. I been coming here since day 1 and never had any problems whatsoever. The atmosphere here is pleasant and great. The point im trying to make here is just dont complain online. The people here are fantastic.

Experiencia positiva: My dad was here for a month and needed PT. He loved everyone there and it seemed to be a great place for him. He did get lonely at times during the night but we were always checking in and visiting at different hours which helps with the care process.

Experiencia negativa: This is by far the worst doctor in the state of Arizona. If you want different medical asstants every visit then go to this doctor his turn over rate is so high . There is always different MAs. He is the rudest old man doctor ; I’m serious you’re better off using web md.

Experiencia negativa: This Place Is A Dump They Do Steal Ur Stuff I had 3 gift card portable chargers a shirt and a plague with a scripture on it go missing I m finally getting out of here this weekend thank God I've gone through 2 roommates who yell and one that was 100 talk so loud 24 7 the stupid tvs don't always work the staff bother you 24 7 one idiot nurse comes in yells good morning Jennifer and pours water but no meds and you're going to wake me up just for that stupid and staff talk so loud in the hallways don't know how to close the door all the way and you wonder why we get depressed here the activities are not bad but everything else is a dump I would put 0 stars if I could the stupid Kendrid hospital put me here and I regret it the only good staff here are Ramona and Beatrice that's it anyway don't put anyone here they'll be mistreated the food is so so I had a bad experience with bible study watch out for Jahovah Witness they took me to dok bible study with them and the regular bible study group turned on me and got mad at me and I didn't know the other people were Jahovah Witness I was depressed after that I feel so bad for those that are here and can't speak up it's really sad and sad to be here don't make the mistake of coming here you'll be sorry you did and I'm happy to say I'm getting out this weekend but I wish everyone else luck Ps if you own a car and are a patient here it will be towed don't ask me why new rule and it's stupid

Patients are hollering from-the rooms the rooms are a mess it looks like a flop house and sounds like a lunatic asylum It depressing and so sad that anyone has to spend time here

Experiencia negativa: This place is a pit!! If you love someone who needs after hospital care, DO NOT place them at Mesa Verde. They don’t watch the patients, they won’t help them to go to the restroom. My dad was there over a week and got one bath. His blood sugar rose to close to 600!! And their comments were “oh look, he looks fine”, He could not wake up, practically in a diabetic coma, we forced them to call 911. Thank God for the professional care at Hoag hospital. They found several other issues wrong with my father that shouldn’t had. Please don’t take your loved ones to this place.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a business posing as a health care facility. the people working there steal your clothes and destroy your property. a doctor is only required to see a patient within 3 days after admission the once a month after. a nurse is only required to a patient once a month, so you can see why they do the minimum here. additionally, Chris webber and staff lie to family in order to get what they need to bill out their "WORK" . if you have a choice do not bring anyone here if you love them or if your looking for good health care. THIS IS A FOR PROFIT BUSINESS! NOT A FOR PATIENT CARE FACILITY. chris webber made it loud and clear that its a business. i do not recommend this place for anyone.

Experiencia negativa: My father is here now. His doctor said he would be here three days, and see a physical therapist three times a day. The staff here insists on keeping him here at least a week, and he has only seen a PT once in four days. The staff is persistent in getting him to sign documents he doesn't want to sign and make end-of-life decisions my parent already made before he arrived, that they're trying to get him to change. They're bullying both him and my mother. The worst part is, he fell out of bed his first night here. No one attended to him for hours. When they finally did, their solution was, "we'll put a pad next to the bed and an alarm in case it happens again." The external bedding is slippery to begin with - my father continually needs to be physically raised up while sitting up in bed because there is no friction to keep him in one place. It is clear that the management here has a context of exploiting their patients, through poor treatment and resignation of their rights. My family is trying to find an alternative solution for his rehab needs, while the staff here is dragging their feet in their own interests.
