Athletico Physical Therapy - Oak Lawn West

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to show my appreciation to Kathryn Semlow for taking the time with me throughout my therapy and recovery process. The patience, dedication to her craft, therapy, and mentorship is extraordinary. I've initially carried injuries from the service since 2012, and I've seen many different doctors for these injuries with no success of pain relief. Pain medication was the norm when they can't figure out what's wrong with you in my experience. I was a lot younger in those days, so I was able to push through it until I wasn't able to anymore (hard to walk, sleep, sit, stand, bending, lifting, etc.). My first screen with Kathryn took an hour or so overall, but she figured me out in 20 minutes. The journey began from here for the next 3-4 months with creative mobility stretches and exercises. Once I completed the program, and she felt I was ready to move on, she went out of her way to give me a template packet of exercises to continue the maintenance. I've implemented every single one of them as part of my gym workouts throughout the week and since then I've gotten stronger with a huge amount of pain relief without medication. I still have my quirks here and there, but the mobility exercises that I've learned from Kathryn takes care of those issues. On another note, I would also like to thank the staff at the location. They're also been very helpful and supportive anytime I was there for therapy. Friendly, kind, and a great team staff overall. If you've been on a similar journey such as mine. I would strongly recommend this particular location.

Experiencia fantástica: All therapist are very knowledgeable. They concentrate on getting you better. They customize your treatment special to your needs. They have made me feel comfortable and welcome to be there. They provided a schedule to meet my situation. I am grateful for their help and support in my recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: I transferred from the Garfield Ridge location to the Oak Lawn location. Katy H. Was amazing, she helped me recover well enough for me to go back to work. My biggest mistake was not coming to the Oak Lawn location sooner. Katy H helped me greatly and helped me heal quicker. I wish Katy and the Oak Lawn location the very best. Once last thing Damian, was also a great help! I hope his work gets recognized by management after this review. He’s a great person that’s going places in life. Grant if you’re reading this, you have some GREAT AMAZING STAFF. I’ll recommend friends/family and co workers to this location! YOU ALL ROCK!!

Experiencia fantástica: It has been a pleasure to be able to visit Athletico in Oak Lawn. The staff has been beyond helpful. When I first started therapy I was almost in tears with excruciating pain. Now I don’t just walk, I also run. Thanks to Kathleen, Kathryn and the entire staff for their time and effort. I will always be grateful for your time and help. Thanks to that great team I’m able to walk pain free once again.

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to thank Athletico at 8729 S Ridgeland Ave for a great experience with my physical therapy after knee and hip injuries. Thanks to a great team of therapists I am fixed! Manager Grant Arthur, therapists Katherine Hertz, Katie Semlorl, associate therapist Julissa Hernandez, aides Colin, Vanessa and Office Coordinator Alejandra. They were very kind and helpful throughout my 8 weeks of therapy. Athletico is a friendly ,family style welcoming environment. After I was evaluated a therapy plan was designed for my needs. After the first session I was starting to feel better right away. Simple tasks such as putting on socks and shoes , or picking something up from the floor was very painful. But after a couple weeks of therapy sessions my flexibility was increasing as my pain levels were decreasing. I would recommend Athletico to anyone who is in need of physical therapy to go directly there to get better. I know I did thanks to the team care given to me. Dan Martinez
