Experiencia fantástica: Great physical therapy center! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Staff are very kind and hospitable, and the therapists are very knowledgeable with attention to detail when it comes to exercises. I've come to this suite on three different occasions and it's nice to see a familiar face such as Janet Lee welcome me back in spite of my injury. Tara Rasmussen (PT) had given me many at-home exercises to retrain my injured ankle, which helped to some degree. Tara had also done some type of chiropractic adjustments to my ankle and metatarsals which alleviated some "clicking" and tension. But like most if not all injuries, recovery also requires time. The facility is located close to many shops to choose from, and parking is very easy to come by. A nice place to work on rehabbing and strengthening body parts and developing an attorney/client bond with the irony being injury as the backbone for a visit. Crossing my fingers no more traumatic injuries, but definitely coming back otherwise!

Experiencia fantástica: I broke my ankle last September and was very nervous about getting back to walking and being active. I can confidently say that without Rachael I would probably be nervous and walking funny. Rachael really helped me become confident in my ankle again. She gave me the right tools and exercises that challenged me just the right amount. I'm now back on my feet and slowly working my way to doing HIIT classes again! Overall everyone in this office are super sweet and great to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful staff, both at the front desk and on their PT team! I broke my right ankle in 3 places during the summer of 2020, Dr. Kim from POA's Orthopedic Surgery team did my surgery at Sutter and recommended I do PT here once I was cleared to start. I was a client from Sep 2020 through Jan 2021 and worked with Rachael & Allen. They both helped me tremendously as I recovered from my first ever broken bone. They were so supportive, encouraging, and patient with me and helped me build back my confidence as I retrained my ankle to work as it should and attempted to recover as much range of motion as possible after being in a cast for 2 months, stuck in a pointed ballerina/barbie position. They both also made it fun and lighthearted so it didn't feel like work or a chore, Rachael especially kept me laughing at each session. I was uninsured for a majority of my time as a client since I'd been laid off during the pandemic and they were very sensitive to my financial position which was greatly appreciated. Lauren at the front desk helped me navigate billing and scheduling too. I'd recommend them to anyone who needed a PT practice to go to.

Experiencia negativa: I am doing this review in behalf of my husband Jose, who was just seen there for the evaluation and had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with the Therapist by the way her name is Rachael Pressel who I had chosen for only one reason, she spoke my husbands language SPANISH, but come to think about it (that is the Latino mistake ) because that kind of people is the kind that for some reason or the other treat us the worst. He was talked with anger and would say No NO you are not helping me and would walk away as soon as she saw that my husband was not (could not - had surgery) doing as she expected. you tell me who does that she's there to HELP not be helped . I do not recommend her, you make your own decision. Estoy haciendo esto solo por mi esposo Jose, quien fue visto solo para su evaluacion. El tubo una muy mala experiencia con su Therapista y el nombere de ella es Rachael Pressel y quien you escoji simplemente por hablar Espanol, aveces nosotros los latino procuramos nuestra raza para sentier mas comodos y lo malo es que terminamos peor son los que nos tunban el animo oh nos tratan mal. Le hablaba con coraje y su vox alta y le pedia que hiciera un movimiento y a el no poder por que (estaba recien operado) le decia no, no lo esta haciendo bien agalo otra vez, y le pedia lo mismo y le decia NO, No me esta ayudando y se retiraba fustrada. Mi preguanta es quien esta ahi para ayudar al paciente si no es el therapista . Yo no la recomiendo ahora tu tienes la ulta palabra.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a "Left Knee Replacement" surgery in May, 2022, and had done "Physical Therapy" in this place. The Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Administrative staffs are "All" very professional and helpful. Greatly appreciated all their help. I was looking for a place to do "Physical Therapy", but I don't know where to go. I recalled that my niece had done "Physical Therapy" 8 years ago, and had "Good" comment. I took pictures there. Finally, I looked up location from pictures in Google map, and found "Peninsula Orthopedic Associates, Inc.

Experiencia negativa: One star for billing services, I’ve tried paying over the phone more than ten times, left voicemails all details every time but was never called back. Its like I’m running after them to make a payment. Very frustrating and unprofessional.Payment method should be available online but that’s another issue where they have to send a special token number just to signup to pay bill, which you can only get if they ever pick up call for billing department, fix the system so its easier for patients to make payments

Experiencia fantástica: With the epidemic going on physical therapy went beyond making sure everybody was safe and the equipment was cleaned after each person used it and the therapy went well with the safe distance between people and wearing masks thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: I have made signifiant progress with Allen and Alvin! Recovering from 16 weeks on crutches due to a foot fracture and surgery. With their specific direction and clear attainable goal setting, I have been able to rebuild dexterity and strength. They are patient, good-humored, and attentive. The staff is also friendly and the energy in the room is very positive.

Experiencia fantástica: POA gave me fantastic care from start to finish. They ensured my therapy plan was both personalized and adjusted to my needs. The entirety of the PT was done virtually (successfully!) due to the pandemic. Both Lauren and Roneil were amazingly accommodating to any rescheduling needs and I would highly recommend POA to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Portland put me at ease immediately about the physical therapy that we would be doing. Despite the pandemic forcing us all into quarantine and making it all virtual, I still felt as if I received the quality of care and support that I needed to help in healing and recovery. It helps that she is friendly, engaging and develops a rapport that keeps our sessions from being awkward as virtual meetings can be. I wasn't sure how that would work but she has it dialed down! A consummate professional that keeps you on track and feeling motivated to do the exercises outside of the sessions. Thank you! Portland, you rock!
