Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Ogden Regional Medical Center

Rehabilitation helps you regain strength and learn new ways of completing daily activities after serious injury or illness. Rehabilitation may include physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech-language pathology (speech therapy).

Everything about our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Program is designed to provide comprehensive, integrated, interdisciplinary rehabilitation for our patients. Here you will find highly experienced rehabilitation teams, including physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians as well as physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapists.

We help patients recovering from serious injury or illness with our mission of “care like family.” Feel comfort in knowing you and your loved one will make gains in learning new ways of completing normal daily activities. When you enter our program, our experts work together to provide you with seamless rehabilitative care. They use advanced technologies and a wide range of therapeutic techniques to help you reduce pain, restore mobility, regain strength and improve your independence.

Undergoing physical rehabilitation in an in-patient hospital facility offers the comfort and assurance that all emergency services — should you need them — are only a few steps away. Freestanding facilities must call 911 in an emergency and then transport you to a hospital if needed.
