Athletico Physical Therapy - Orland Park North

Experiencia fantástica: I chose Athletico Orland Park North for my physical therapy after knee replacement because it was close to my home. It was a great choice as I could not be happier with my experience there. I work mainly with Brittany, but a few times with Kristie, and they are both great! I will be having my second knee done next week and know I am in great hands there. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, Bianca, Mike, Lizzie, Veronica, etc. Brianne is great at keeping everyone on schedule!! Definitely would recommend to everyone in need of PT!

Experiencia fantástica: From my very first session with Brittany J she has been fabulous! I've been to Athletico in the past and had great care so I chose them again for PT for my recent shoulder injury! Brittany asks all the right questions, is very knowledgeable, gives me home exercises to do, and increases things as I go along to help me get back to work quicker and hopefully avoid surgery! I'm a nurse by trade but I've never wanted to be a part of anything orthopedic, as a patient or a nurse, lol. Brittany and honestly the entire staff has been very helpful in acknowledging my goals, helping me work toward them, knowing my pain, and where I want to be in the future! 10 out of 10 recommend! Experiencia fantástica: I have always been a relatively healthy person, but over the previous few months found that I had strained my knee and was in constant pain. Physical therapy was recommended by my doctor. About one month ago I came to Athletico (Orland North location). I had a family member, who is a physician himself and needed physical therapy last year and came here. So, upon his recommendation, I came in for therapy with Brittney. When I came for my evaluation, I brought in an information sheet explaining my problem and the history of what had been done previously for my knee from a simple Xray to an MRI to one cortisone shot. I explained to Brittney things I could NOT do! And let me tell you that I was scared. I could not bend my knee or go downstairs. I could not cross my leg or kneel. I could not bend my knee while sitting or sleep at night without pain. After evaluating me, Brittney put a plan together. She was methodical in her approach to my wellness. I am completing therapy now (after 17 visits) and confirm that I am out of pain and that my knee feels much stronger. Thank you, Brittney and the manager at this location and the front desk assistant and to all the PT assistants who are at this location. Brittney worked my knee slowly but surely. She is a wonderful therapist. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, funny and answered questions patiently every time I had them (and believe me I had many questions). I felt that she was always honest with me. I also want to thank the many assistants, who took care of me. I loved the fact that they would watch as you exercised and tell you how to do things correctly. They didn't just let you go through the motions. I am going to miss coming in for my physical therapy. But I am also grateful that it helped me. So, I guess it is time for me to open Brittney's schedule to help the next "wounded bird" who comes in with pain and needs attention. Lastly, I have to say that I have NEVER given thought to not being able to walk or climb stairs. I took this motion for granted. Wow! Not anymore! Thank God for physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: Sometimes you just get lucky and that is just what happened to me. I needed to see a Physical Therapist immediately after being treated by a very good chiropractor who said that they could not help me to improve any longer and I should find a PT. A friend of mine told me about “Kristi” at Athletico Orland North which is about 15 min. from my house. I called them and they fit me in right away. I could hardly walk, dress myself, climb stairs, or transfer from the bed to the floor or bend over without extreme pain. Kristi was my main PT and Brittany helped the first weeks. Their assistants Mike and Bianca also were there to help. I started with them on January 3, 2024 and had my last visit on March 13, 2024; they had me stronger and mobile in two and a half months, three times every week and sent me home with exercises to do at home. They gave me my life back; I cannot praise this group of people highly enough. And, I can’t forget Brianne, who keeps everything and everyone on track…. Without her I would never remember what my appointment times were. Thanks to the whole team for getting me back on my feet. Diane Leib

Experiencia fantástica: Doing PT for rotator cuff surgery, and though this is my first rehab ever, I genuinely cannot imagine a better experience. The entire staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional, but warm and friendly at the same time. I never dread going there, despite the hard physical efforts I’m doing. Kristie sets the example, keeping things light but holding you accountable for doing the work. She knows her stuff and is great to bounce things off of, ask questions, etc. Brittney is great, as well, there was no drop off while she attended to me in Kristie’s absence - she knew my situation well. The diligence and attentiveness among all of them is great - not clingy but never far away, they will never let me sit and wait - they usually are waiting for me to finish a set. Brianne is welcoming and flexible with scheduling, and Sam, Bella, Bianca, Mikey and are all very helpful and encouraging. Even when I’m struggling, they are very supportive. Great people, and great results so far for me. I highly recommend them!
