Experiencia negativa: DOC WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A CRIMINAL!!!! They refused to help me because I have been using cannabis to control my pain, just RSO oil, with a medical card. I have 8 herniated discs, +30° Scoliosis, a detached tendon in my foot, and a cyst growing on my sciatica nerve...but having previously used cannabis oil to manage my pain, Dr Smith resuses to help me, offering me the suggestion that maybe I should try a different (cannabis) strain. That was his solution to my crippling pain!!!! I'm beside myself of the absolute lack of empathy & disregarding me as a human that is suffering in pain. Then to be treated like a drug addict and a criminal by a doctor! Thiis was my second visit; a total of over 3 hours, sitting and waiting....DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Experiencia negativa: Not sure who’s running the place, I think the nurse practitioner is. A lady that tried to make me feel like a drug addict because I was there with chronic pain from a back injury from a drunk driver. I am blocked from be able to leave my doctor a message on their portal. I had a receptionist called me and she left a message telling me I left the nurse practitioner several messages and that is not true. I left her one and the doctor two and now I am blocked from leaving any or contacting my doctor, not sure if the doctor seen any of my messages.

Experiencia fantástica: I like everybody, especially the anesthesiologist. He was very good, the nurses or age. Or whatever they were very good and it seems like every now. And then when someone new starts there, it doesn't take home for the other girls both 2. Make her very good and gives her confidence. They worked together.

Experiencia negativa: We have been trying to get ahold of them for like 2 weeks had appt on the 23 of December they changed it to a phone appt fine but they said someone would call to set another appointment an still no appointments or refills I have called everyday at least 2-3 times a day I leave messages yet no one has called us back

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for 14 years. They offer an urgent care, pain management center (Dr. Meta and Dr. Gupta), Meta Medical Research Center, Swim Therapy, Medical imaging, outpatient surgical center, and I believe they do medication compounds as well but not positive. I see Dr. Meta and he is wonderful. He is not a pill pusher. He is a great listener. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is considering a pain management program. My treatment plan includes aqua therapy, outpatient surgical procedures such as trigger point injections, and medication. Of course, your course of treatment will be determined by your physician. I held back on that 5th star because the wait for appointments can be long. They do have tv's for patients while waiting, which is nice. Be Happy

Experiencia positiva: Was there roughly 2 hours. I don’t understand the whole schedule a group of people all at 11 or 1 and then you’re either in quick or if you’re unlucky you wait an hour and a half. Seems like scheduling a half hour apart you’d have minimal wait times. Injection was quick and easy once you’re in the procedure room which is most important thing to me. Staff was friendly. Waiting room and room you wait in before being brought back for procedure could definitely use a good cleaning. Walls and sides of trash cans had brown stains running down them. Attention to detail goes a long way. None of the lockers have keys to lock your stuff up so leave valuables with your driver in the waiting room.

Experiencia negativa: Scheduled for a CT here because of insurance requirements. They said they received new equipment (injector) for contrast, but it was “still in the box, I’m unpacking it.” We waited, filled out paperwork, and then were called back (thinking, of course they were trained on using it. Who would use or even attempt to use equipment they aren’t properly trained on). After starting an IV, was told “I’m not comfortable using the new equipment until I’ve been properly trained.” What!?! No kidding. Why would you even attempt that? Why was this appointment even able to be scheduled? We left after being there an hour, for nothing. After waiting 6 weeks to get this test, and driving over an hour one way, we will not be going back and reporting to insurance, state board, and whoever will listen. Outside had empty food bags and inside was outdated and seemed unkept. The office just inside the door was messy and disorganized. Also, I could see the actual image of my sons scan they apparently started because the screen faces the Dutch-door that was open. The tech was nice, but this in no way makes up for all that was so wrong with this appointment today. Do better.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm a patient at DOC and am extremely satisfied with the pain management I have received at both facilities in Dayton and West Chester. The doctors listen and develop a plan for you to improve your quality of life. Besides treating your pain DOC will try to find the root cause of the pain and if possible eliminate it or make it more manageable to live with it. I highly recommend DOC for pain management.

Even if it's an order from another DR outside of Dayton Outpatient Center, I take the order there! They treat you best for an MRI here! All images are read by Kettering Radiologists anyways so Why Not go to The most kind, careful, considerate place?

Experiencia negativa: I had a referral sent to this office in September. I've been calling and leaving messages but they have failed to answer or call back.
Experiencia negativa: Nice staff, slow with receiving results. I’ve had MRI tests at other facilities and received results within 36 hours.
Experiencia negativa: I come here for a 9:00 a.m. appointment. They gave me so much papers and refused to let me in. Tried to explain. O.k. 10:30 I came out to speak to the girl whom tell me I have to wait longer then 1::30 which never happen. I decided to leave. I ain't nobody's boitch.
Experiencia negativa: I was directed here for a spine MRI, easy enough scheduling and quick service when I arrived. Had my MRI, and left. Took my CD of MRI to each of my referring Orthopedic Surgeon, Pain Specialist, and Neurosurgeon and each commented on how poor quality it was. Because of that my Neurosurgeon ordered another MRI before I went in for emergency surgery. Turns out one of Thoracic joints was badly compromised, which resulted in a fusion. Obviously I would have needed a fusion even with a good MRI, but it would have explained my nerve pain and more likely I would had surgery two plus months earlier. My insurance company no longer list DOC as a preferred MRI service. (Service was May of 2021)

Experiencia negativa: This office does not care about their patients if you do find a doctor you start to trust they will end up ruining it. I have never been talked to by a doctor like I was today by a doctor I thought I had finally got comfortable with and was starting to trust. I have been going there over 4 years since covid hit they will cancel ur appointments to tele appointment but then not call you for a week then act like you’re the problem. I tried talking but couldn’t get a word in over the yelling and was told if I don’t like it see someone else she don’t care. I’m a working mom of 4 children and today I was scolded like a child for their error. So now the stress I have for another upcoming surgery on my shoulder I also have to look for a new doctor that can at least talk to me appropriately and respectfully as doctors should conduct themselves. It’s a shame and I am beside myself still can’t believe I was treated this way totally uncalled for.

Experiencia negativa: Every time I’m there, I’m waiting at least an hour to be seen even if I’m the first patient of the day. My appointment this month was rescheduled and turned into a televisit, which I didn’t mind. They were quick to get my card number to pay the copay, as usual. This time I waited over FOUR HOURS for Grace to call!! If I were 4 hours late, they wouldn’t talk to me. I get that she may be pregnant (there’s a rumor saying this), but that’s no excuse to be so late every single appointment. Please do better with your time management. Stop double/triple booking and, please, only see those that you can in a timely manner. If you’re going to be late or behind, communicate that. Also, I waited 4-4.5 hours for an 11 minute phone call. If you want the extra day off before a holiday weekend, plan that in advance. Call in refills if that’s your only intent of the “appointment “, don’t make your patients wait 4-4.5 HOURS for a 9 minute phone call where 6 minutes if that was looking for the drug screen from the last visit. Please be prepared in advance for your visits. I’m not going to waste Grace’s time, I wish she wouldn’t waste mine. I personally know some of her other patients and I am not the only one that experiences this. Every single one of the people that I said that I know that I also have Grace as a provider experience the same exact thing. Unacceptable! On a different note, Grace’s MA (Sandy) is phenomenal!!
Experiencia fantástica: I had quite the experience here, I was in the patient room, getting the basic medical information filled out when I had a Major Pain episode start. It was so bad they insisted on me getting ambulance ride to the ER. The staff was well trained on taking care of a patient in a dire situation! I tip my hat off to them they were all just wonderful caring and compassionate. But I did notice the place needs a maintenance makeover, fix things in the restroom, clean return air duct vents, replace carpet, etc . . . Being a facility maintenance expert I naturally noticed these things.
