Experiencia fantástica: This was the best hospital experience I've ever had! It was so clean and every person that assisted us in any way was very friendly and helpful!

Experiencia positiva: I was a patient there, everything went fine until I was released. The nurse at that time asked me if I knew who was picking me up. I told her, my husband then she asked me what time was he coming. To me it was like the sooner the better. I can tell you a time but that still does not mean that he would have been there at that time. I don't feel like that should be asked of a patient. It's like, ok you're done so it's time to go. Then I called for her to come back to the room and she had not shown up before my husband arrived. Then she stated that she was at lunch. How convenient.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff were all 100% on their A game. Treated me with compassion, empathy, and were all around very good to me. The exact opposite of Miami Valley Hospital. Couldn't have been happier.

Experiencia positiva: While I was in the shower they came into change my linens off my bed which had my cell phone in them. When I called the manger in the room she said she would take care of and never did I called dor a week straight and never got reimbursed they also lost some of my clothing and jewelry, I had to walk out in hospital pants

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone, and I mean everyone was so nice, professional, and caring. My daytime Nurse Shanell was the BEST! The PA Linnette was so knowledgable and explained things in layman’s terms so that I knew exactly what the plan was, and how the plan went. I’m not someone who frequently visits my Dr, and even more so go to the hospital, but your team made it it apparent that I need to improve my lifestyle type choices and take better care of myself. Experiencia negativa: I recently had emergency surgery at KHD and was housed in the 4N wing which is the old part of Grandview and is still double rooms. That was the filthiest, bug ridden, place I have ever been. The nurses tried their best but they were so understaffed. I had major abdominal surgery and and was there for a week and left with the same dirty bedding on my bed that was on there when I went in. I had roaches crawl in my bed. This needs to be shut down. This isn't Healthcare it's hellcare!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My nurses were absolutely amazing my doctors were amazing the hospital could use a little upgrades like private rooms but they accommodate me by not putting a room mate in my room during my stay due to the nature of my situation.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a number of Wonderful Nurses while at KHD (better known as Grandview). My ER nurse was wonderful and patient with all my moans and groans, was quick with meds and faithfully filled all my needs. Trixie was my wonderful RN on 5N, she did a wonderful job of caring for me and assisting me in anyway she could. Melanie and Sophie were my perfect nurses on 4W, they had such a great empathy and caring attitude for me when I was having so much pain and not understanding the source. They both were quick to answer the call light, answer any questions I had, page my doctors when there were needs that hadn’t been filled, and assisting me to and from the Ladies room for necessary breaks. I appreciated each and every one of them, My manager, Tina, came in and spent about an hour with me, walking me through some painful episodes and talking about some new plans for our unit. Cassy, and Mary were wonderful techs as well, they brought me ice water when I could have it, assisted with other necessities, and Cassy just came in and chatted for a little while when she had a break! I just have to say a great big thank you to all my doctors as well, Dr. White in the ED, Dr. Lal my attending, Dr Paul, my surgeon, and Dr. Gorgy, my neurologist resident for all the things they took care of for me while I was there. ER, 5 North, and 4 West staff are the best!

Experiencia positiva: After the poor “ health” care I didn’t receive from premier “health”!. I’m sold that Kettering healthcare is TOP notch. Loved all the staff for the most part, these people choose a very stressful job. They all took time to make sure you knew everything at each step. I LOVE the amount of smiles and laughter they offered. I can’t say enough about the cardiologist staff from top dog to housekeeping. Only complaint I had was dietary could improve. You’re not really given the dietary guidelines for a life changing experience. But I also know they have to cook for a vast number of people. Menus could be more informational on that end. Thanks Kettering Grande view this family gives you so much love for keeping a loving father, grandfather and friend on this side

Experiencia fantástica: Ok! Everything went well. Physical therapy 200yds plus activities. In car, out; shower, in & out; high step up & turn around; 5 - 6 steps up & down. Output excellent, & had a great meal( well gave hubby carrot cake & pepsi) & salad ( well just the cucumbers) & flatbread buffalo chicken for me. This was the GREATEST surgery I've ever had. Staff from walking in the front door: can't find enough words for such great care. They were so attentive to me, & knew what I needed before asking. They are AWESOME. MEGAN whom placed the IV. Bruce, Holly, Samantha, Joe, , just to name a few, I could go on. Thank you from bottom of my heart ❤️ . Also the best of best DR. MATTHEW HECKLER; ORTHOPEDICS OF SOUTHWESTERN OHIO, LITTLE YORK RD. You repaired the left 3yrs ago it was great, but this surgery was the best. Clear head, no side effects, feeling fabulous. Thank you again everyone that participated at KETTERING HOSPITAL GRANDVIEW!

Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend Kettering health to anyone. Living in Washington Court House were right in between Columbus and Dayton my open heart surgery I had at osu failed before 2015 was over. The Dr's an nursing stall at Grandview was great. A 11 compared to the hospital I've been in the last year trying to figure out what was happening to me. Thanks to Dr Kabir for sticking with me till he figured out what was wrong. Most heart caths about a hour. Mine lasted four an a half hours. The angioplasty got stuck in my LAD an Dr Kabir stood right beside me till it came out. Now he's probably 18 in my book. But I'm really glad I choose Kettering health system. Thanks to everyone who helped me through my quadruple heart bypass. One other thing Dr Kabir has saved my life 4 times an I really appreciate him an his great staff. Thanks Jeffery Michael

Experiencia fantástica: I do not remember coming in by ambulance, but 3 days later I was home and feel better then I have in a long while. I have appointments with the proper Doctors for my condition. The Emergency. ICU, and StepDown nursing and staff is superior. Questions answered, fears addressed, when you ring they answer fast. Overall except for being sick, this was a wonderful mini vacation

Experiencia positiva: My nurse Stephanie was awesome she was the best nurse ever, if I didn't have her the review would be way worse. Some random women came in while me and my husband were sleeping and I think they said she was the head nurse she just came in and yelled at me and him cause he was in the bed and she said he wasn't allowed to be but we were there for like 12 hours and we already asked multiple people if it was okay and she just walked in and yelled at us. And also while I was sleeping for the first time all night a women came in and was asking me question and I was loopy from all the medicine for before my surgery and she got aggravated I didn't understand what she was saying but again I hadnt gotten any sleep and was on a lot of meds. The man dr. Paul who did my surgery was very kind as well, and whoever else helped with that surgery was very nice. Overall good experience my nurse even stuck up for me when that head nurse I believe was being rude and she told my husband to get back in the bed with me.

Experiencia negativa: I came to the emergency room last week. This was the first time I went to the ER for myself ever and it was THE worst possible experience. They didn’t have room for me so they put me in an urgent care room. There was a male “resident” training and he was incredibly unintelligent. He didn’t review my labs prior to meeting with me and asked me to look up my labs on MY phone to review the results that I had questions about because he was confused. He didn’t even come close to doing a full assessment. He made inferences completely inapplicable to the symptoms I was having. He never gave me my results from the CT scan (which would have explained my kidney pain!Kidney stone!). In fact, he said my results from the scan looked great. The radiologist didn’t alcohol my IV port prior to flushing or prior to connecting me to fluids for the scan. And last but not least, the nurse discharged me and DIDNT EVEN REMOVE MY IV!!!!! Luckily I am an RN and was able to remove it myself. But this was probably the worst possible care I have ever received in my life. I will never go here again. And I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: Medical staff was great! Nursing staff very professional and interactive and met my expectations. Doctors followed up on my care and asked many questions on how I was doing during my hospital stay. A big thank you to all involved in my stay at Grandview.

Experiencia fantástica: Kettering health center is taking care of me after I got out of Grandview, which was one of the worst hospital stays in my life, ER people were rushing so fast instead of putting IV into my left arm into a good vein on top of my arm they put it in the top of my left hand which I'm left-handed, after laying on a flat bed and a headboard for 4 and 1/2 hours I finally came in somebody took me off the board after receiving my room two of my head and nurses were great nurses at night couldn't hardly speak English wanted me to squoose her fingers after she yelled and screamed at me I've had a concussion and a couple other things I said don't you mean squeeze weren't you just shook her head yes and every time I was talking to her she had an earbud and talking to somebody else on her phone so I wouldn't give any care that I thought I needed but next time I will go to the main hospital Kettering hospital on Southern boulevard

Experiencia negativa: Mary Haynes APRN-CPN profiles people she placed a comment in my MyChart which is untrue and made me feel like less than a person. If I knew how I would sue the hospital and her for defamation of character as well as libil because her statements were unfounded and untrue and these NP need to stop judging people. I am literally dying but she didn't care as long as she could hurt me as a person. Robert Williams former patient don't believe me check out my chart and then MyChart to see comments by her this is for doctors or HR that might read this.

Experiencia positiva: Grandview Hospital. Husband transported here by squad. Waited in ER for a room for 12 hours. We were then told there is a room available, but there are no staff available, and the room needs to be cleaned. Terrible experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Had to be admitted to this hospital and was really surprised by reading reviews online. My stay was wonderful and the staff took great care of me while I was there. They also made sure my wife had everything she needed as well while she stayed by my side

Experiencia positiva: Friendly staff from house keeping to the Dr.s, everyone is kind and very helpful. However it is so difficult to get any type of quality rest . Vitals every 2 hrs, Bed alarms, IV alarms, medications, blood sugars, full bladders, and a moaning attention seeking roommate.. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm sorry that I was somewhat crabby on my last morning there. I was exhausted .

Experiencia fantástica: My doctors during my visit were very informative, telling me the treatment options that I had, everything they were looking at including other reasons that could be causing my concerns, they reviewed each lab/test result with me, also explained what labs or tests they were going to do prior to doing them, I had one of the best nursing assistants on the day shift on the 6th floor on 8/1/24 and 8/2/24. The food was good and they kept in line with the diet that I was prescribed while I was there. I also was a fall risk and they did everything they could to keep me safe. Patient transport staff were friendly and helped me to get my mind off of why I was there by talking about other things than my health, it was nice to hear about how their day was going and all of them said it was good. I have always said take me to Grandview and not Miami Valley so thank you and thankful for everyone at Grandview Kettering!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a gallbladder attack thinking I was going to have surgery. But I take Coumadin and will have the procedure as outpatient. The nurses were great. I don’t remember all the names but my nurse LaTonya was absolutely fabulous. I asked her to come home with me. You have a real in Gil the housekeeper. He was so kind and encouraging. He went to get me a trash can when I didn’t have one. Loved talking to him. There were so many more, I can’t remember their names. Dr Mangen was very good, caring and really listened. You should be proud to have him on your staff. Dr Gaeta was the best surgeon I have come across. He was thorough and didn’t rush surgery until he understood what was going on. Even in the pain, I knew I was in good hands. Thanks for the care.

Experiencia negativa: Will never willing go back to this Grandview Hospital. Doctors were great, but a floor nurse would not listen to ANYTHING I or my husband said about MY health. Tried to force me to change my transplant meds schedule, tried to overdose my insulin. And I did not like being tethered to the bed when I was not a fall risk. I had an issue with my throat, not my kidneys, not my diabetes, not my ability to walk. She kept telling me things were a “law” when I questioned anything. Sorry Grandview, but it’s a big NO when someone tries to mess with my transplant health set up by my actual transplant team!

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant experience for what we had to deal with as far as our loved ones injury!! from first walking into the door the beautiful kind lady greeting us at the door to all the staff giving us Respect kindness and keeping us informed John in registration was very helpful kind I appreciate how fast they took care of my loved one surgery, making sure that all her needs were met and quick Efficient release The EMT's that brought her home we're kind to Viola helpful and respectful to our home! Experiencia fantástica: Early in the a.m. hours my blood pressure went extremely high and I was extremely dizzy. I had to call an ambulance to take me to Kettering in Eaton. They were absolutely amazing, I remember they told me they were going to take good care of me and I would be fine. Throughout the next few hours they did blood work, E.K.G, CAT scan to make sure they could rule out some of the worse things that was going on. But they continued to assure me I was in good hand, where I needed to be and I was going to be ok. It was determined I was not having a stroke but my heart enzymes were rising and they wanted to take me to Kettering Grandview in Dayton. From the moment I arrived the medical staff was just as great. I was put in room 5128. I met so many wonderful nurses, doctors, technicians, cafeteria staff, housekeepers….everyone was beyond what I expected. I had 3 different nurses during my stay (I am sure there were more). Leah, Danielle and Erika were 3 that I remember. They kept me comfortable, explained things to me, always kept me happy. They were just amazing. I had many doctors Dr. Rossu, Dr. Clark, Dr. Argu and so many more. If you ever need hospital care this is the place to trust. I can not even put into words how well they took care of me. You could just tell everyone cared that you were there and they were going to take care of you. I felt so safe. Thanks to all of you….I am doing great now♥️

Experiencia fantástica: My Mom was admitted on Friday. Staff was very courteous and attentive.everyone made us feel that they wanted the best for her. All of our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. Everyone we interacted with concerning her care was excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: My stay at Kettering Hospital was wonderful! The staff were wonderful as well! They've tended to me and everyone had great customer service! Thankfully, I only live 5 minutes away from what used to be Grandview Hospital! Dr. Brown and the other doctors and nurses were wonderful as well! So, I will definitely continue to come Kettering Health Center for my emergency medical needs!

Experiencia fantástica: I wish that I could remember everyone’s name but there were so many encounters in a short period of time. I first met Norris who was my nurse for a brief time because his shift was coming to an end but even in that short time he did what he could to make me feel comfortable and welcomed. I think the staff understands that it can be a scary position to be in so them being attentive to my feelings and my needs was very appreciated. There was one associate that didn’t have very good energy but perhaps she wasn’t having a good night or that’s just her personality but I pray that she finds peace and can work on her attitude. The food selection was pretty good as well. Overall I’d recommend this hospital to anyone who may want to know where to go for their health services. They take care of you… at least that staff does and I was blessed to have them with me

Experiencia fantástica: I was in Grandview hospital and ICU recovering from open-heart surgery. Everyone there was nice polite, courteous, and saw to my every need.

Experiencia positiva: i was in ICU and they was great then i was moved and it was really bad. I had to bag to get out of bed and to walk the food was so bad and the room was very small i was at Grandview.

Experiencia negativa: I dislike Grandview west Dayton location. They are known for putting derogatory remarks and /incorrect info on your medical/health history. Under staffed, the care is bare minimum. I watched a nurse take half a pill of my medication and lastly they’ll trial & error you like a Guinea pig with no resolution.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best care team in Nursing, Doctors Technicians, the entire staff at both Kettering Troy and Grandview that anyone could hope for. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for caring about a terrified 72 year woman alone in this world.

Experiencia negativa: I gave 2 stars because my mother did recover during her visit but I was not pleased with about every other aspect of care starting with my mother arriving in the ER at 4:30 am, not lucid, and them not notifying me until 5:30 pm and them it taking until almost 9 pm to admit her!!! Once in her room the nurse who admitted her didn't realize the urine catheter line had been knotted for transport and that she needed to unknot it and then proceeded to set up her catheter gravity line wrong which was caught by the floor nurse. Then they proceeded to have to place and replace iv catheters continually which resulted in horrible bruising all up and down my mother's arms. The last straw was the GI specialist who had followed her through the stay did an endoscopy on Monday, discovered she had esophageal structures yet chose NOT to start treating her eventhough she did not discharge until Friday. My recommendation is DO NOT allow your loved ones or yourself to be treated at Grandview. It was a horrible experience

Experiencia negativa: I felt ignored when i would ask the nurse for something, or a question. the worse bed side manners ive ever had, and i was given the run around for 2 days. nobody was on the page about my care, and i felt like i didnt matter. the worse hospital experience ive ever had. i wouldnt go back here for a million dollars or with my dead dog. absolutely awful and the worse care ive ever received

Experiencia negativa: I had an incident with meds that I was unsure of and in asking to tell me what they were the nurse was irritated that I hadn’t heard or seen the medication as he was taking them out of the package. It ended up being a stressful situation. I was not pleased or confident with the way it was handled.

Experiencia fantástica: My recent stay at Grandview Hospital was exceptional. Their teams of surgeons, doctors, nurses, charge nurses, etc. were very attentive to every need i had. They not only asked a lot of questions, but they listened intently. I highly recommend Grandview Hospital.

Experiencia positiva: My relative was being treated here for an urgent condition. All the nurses that cared for her were amazing. Some mentions are Trixy, Renee, Mary and Emily. Renee went above and beyond to make sure my sister in law got excellent care and even made sure we, who watched over her were warm at night. Shout out to Renee. Shout out to all the other nurses who also did an amazing job in caring for my sister in law. The consulting Neurologist Timonthy Lee Schoonover also did an amazing job. He provided tests and explained everything with patience and with respect. Dr. Ahmed Hadid however, the attending physician, made our stay and our experience very uncomfortable. Instead of speaking to my family and I he yelled, he consistently belittled us and spoke to us in a condescending way. This went on for multiple days as we stayed there. He was harsh and rude and we felt like we were not respected. He definitely ruined our experience. Because of that we are giving this hospital stars.

Experiencia fantástica: All medical professionals do their best when treating you. They stay involved & listen in choosing the best way to resolve your failing medical condition. They are courteous & don't mind keeping things lighthearted with their bedside manner.

Experiencia negativa: It was the worst service I have had of all the hospitals I visited in 35 years of life; I arrived for emergencies and it took them more than 1 hour to take my vital signs and they did it because I went to tell them to please take care of me; and it took two hours for me to see a doctor and finally they told me that. or they had more rooms to serve me, so I preferred to leave rather than continue waiting for terrible service.

Experiencia positiva: There was a few nurse and nurse aid that was very unprofessional. Act like I was taken time away from them when I was asking for things. Then when I was released I found the outfit I had been wearing when I came in two days later in was wet and smelled like piss. There are some great people who worked on the floor. I even had one who wasn't my nurse aide that night help me get my husband home.

Took a while to get back but they were some of the friendliest ,thorough PROFESSIONAL staff I've ever seen in a long time . I chose this E.R because the other hospital made me feel terrible like i was just there to get drugs. I was scared to go in but i left happy knowing I wasn't actively dying before sending me out. Thank you so much to the staff and great job serving your community!

Experiencia fantástica: The nursing staff were very professional and accommodating. They ensured sharing info on all my care. I addressed the one issue with housekeeping to the floor leader otherwise all good. The food served was delicious and everything kept appropriate temp.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the er for pain and just because I was concerned about something and turns out I had to get emergency surgery done on my gallbladder it went quick and easy they did a great job for my overall first surgery experience.

Experiencia negativa: The nurses were not constant at all I was told one thing pertaining to my blood pressure and the nurses never came to do it they were supposed to do my BP with me laying down sitting up and standing up they never came the people was supposed to come and get ekg Stat and never came I wasn't asked if I wanted to wash up or anything I just didn't like it

Experiencia positiva: Did not appreciate having to share a patient room. Very much a HIPPA violation as my room neighbor was listening and commenting on everything that was discussed about my care.

Experiencia fantástica: Great care from the moment they took me into the ER until I was discharged. The nurses and the doctors were all fantastic. Can't thank them enough for all of the great care they gave me.

Experiencia negativa: This hospital should not be in business. The poor elderly lady in the bed beside me laid in her own unrine until PT/OT came in and discovered it. As soon as I got to the 4th floor a “charge” and a “manager” nurse came into tell me their titles and that they were there, but never saw them again. The charge nurse gave me a paper that showed medications, not my medications. No one once offered clean sheets or a new hospital gown during my 3 night 4 day stay. I felt another day there would be more detrimental to me than my illness. The RNs were all wonderful but all that was happening was me laying there with an IV in my arm. All the staff wore walkie talkie things that were so pound as you could hear everyone talking to everyone. I will add the UCU staff were all very wonderful

Experiencia positiva: Dr Mangen had terrible bedside manners. He also ignored my previous diagnosis taking me off medications that coinside with my diagnosis. Only paying attention to what he wanted. Nurse’s and Nursing Assistants were very sweet and kind and helpful. Felt that ER physician put stuff on my record that was not true about me and needs to be updated. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone!!

Experiencia positiva: Night shift workers are amazing!! They seem to actually care for the patient's. Day shift workers not so much. Push call button and wait what seems like forever. They are rough And rude with you. Not the cleanest. Also, they don't tell you that family has to leave if you are put in a shared room. Shared rooms are not pleasant. You hear everything about the other patient and they hear everything about you. They didn't clean the bathrooms properly. I had to remove my shared roommate's pee container several times due to never being collected by staff. Not the best, but not the absolute worst visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I just had an emergency, I went to the KHN ER in Huber Heights. I had excellent and compassionate care from the nurses and physician. My pain was well maintained and all my testing was done quickly and expertly. I was then transferred to Grandview by Kettering transport and again care was excellent. I arrived at Grandview and was taken to a room immediately to await my emergency surgery. Again my care was excellent, great pain control, and very compassionate care. Even though I had to wait longer than expected for my surgery, I was kept apprised and cared for. Being a nurse myself, I understood the wait and did not mind. When I was taken for surgery, the surgical staff (nurses, anesthesia, residents and the surgeon) was excellent in the care they provided, the information I was given and the support I received. After returning to my room after surgery, the care I received from everyone was excellent. I never wanted for anything. I would like to sincerely thank you all involved in my care, it was top notch.

Experiencia fantástica: All the staff I encountered were wonderful and were professional and cared about your healthcare. Always willing to help. The nursing staff assigned to me were spectacular and attentative to my needs- (Nicole, Amanda, Dru and Comfort). I want to acknowledge Comfort for being such a special person and her care and infectious personality. Glad I met her. Nicole was the first nurse I met at 3:00 am who made me feel comfortable when I was admitted and was tired and in pain. Very caring personality. She made sure to ask how I was feeling even when she was assigned to the other patient in my room the next day.

Experiencia positiva: I love Grandview that my preferred hospital but my last stay the nursing staff where rude uncaring and very dissapointing the quality of care from there nurses was very heart breaking.the Dr and er staff was a delight the admitting staff much much different

Experiencia fantástica: I have a visit due to my appendix, all doctors, nurses and assistants are very nice. The only thing i can suggest is enforce a “quiet police” so that everyone there can enjoy a speedy recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: During my stay everyone smiling and being concerned in answering questions contributed to the best stay ever. Pulling my sister and son aside talking to them to fill in the parts I didn't know about meant alot, I couldn't ask for more. When you see family at ease it is one less thing to worry about. From nurses to house cleaning to xray to others a monumental stay.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience I ever had at Grand View who moved someone in my room who was a mental case with a lot of physical problems. She should have been in ICU. I had surgery that same day and needed rest but was kept up all night with blood transfusions for her, her coughing from COPD, her diarrhea, etc. All they could give r were ear plugs not another room to be moved to. Awful experience.

Experiencia negativa: Place was clean and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, but not where it counted most. My "Doctor" Kartik Roa was openly judgemental about me having not been seen enough through my pregnancy, even when I explained it was due to lack of insurance and permission for time off from my employer. He also swiped the heart-rate-reader from my nurse when he couldn't find the heart rate, and proceeded to hurt me baring down with it, even when I expressed it hurt. All that and he couldn't even fine the heart rate, as if being rough would be more efficient. He ordered an ultrasound to find the heart rate, of which they didn't even actually look for any concerns in the womb, or with the fetus. They got a heart rate, didn't even test my blood or urine that they took for apparently no reason, and discharged me without valid comfort for my unborn babies well being. I left with no answers, and hurting more than when I came in.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very mild heart attack and they sent me here to have a heart Cath done. Kettering Health Dayton is an amazing hospital. Everyone is so nice and they talk to you an make sure you understand everything. Very nice place

Experiencia fantástica: I don't live in Dayton but was transferred to Kettering in Dayton from Kettering Hamilton. At both locations the nurses and Drs were awesome as well as the support staff such as the aides and housekeeping and food services workers. The food menu was totally awesome especially being a healthy menu and a no pork menu. The food services were better than going out somewhere to eat. Oh And I almost left out the clergy who paid me a visit. All was appreciated

Experiencia fantástica: Astounding! Every single staff member I encountered at Grandview Kettering hospital was exemplary! They were experienced, professional, knowledgeable, kind, and so helpful! They were attentive to my every need. They went well beyond the call of duty. I received prayer often and prayer changes things! I’m recovering well at home, thanks to everyone praying and attending to my health needs.

Experiencia negativa: As someone who just had a major surgery I wouldn’t have thought to be placed in a room with another patient that had visitors from the time I got out surgery until the time I went to bed. It was rather exhausting and agitating when all I wanted was peace and quiet at that moment in time. I have also never been placed in a room with someone else after surgery. Because of this incident my significant other was not able to stay over night with me because the room was so small. I also requested to be moved to another room because of this situation to which I was told there was nothing else available. I was understanding of that. What I wasn't understanding of is why the nurses didn’t ask the other individual in the room and their family members to at least quiet down a bit. Also nobody ever came to check on me or to do rounds unless I hit my call button to say I was in pain and needed more meds. It was very unprofessional from my view. I understand nurses have a lot of other patients than just myself to take care of, but they shouldn’t be over loaded with patients to the extent that they aren’t giving patients the type of care they need. Even when I did hit the call button it still took the nurses 30 minutes to an hour to get to my room. I had high hopes going into this procedure that I was in the right hands as I have had previous family members speak very highly of Grandview. It’s a disappointment to say that after this experience our views have changed. I hope you offer better patient care in the future and hold them to more of a standard as if they were your own family members sitting in that bed.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a lower lumbar fusion. The surgeon and the nursing staff couldn’t have been any better. The nurses aides were very good. Top to bottom the entire staff that I dealt with was amazing, very friendly, very caring and helpful. I can’t thank you all enough, it was a great experience with some outstanding people. Night crew included, everyone was absolutely wonderful. Thank you all so much.

Experiencia fantástica: Every single person I have interacted with in my stay was helpful, attentive, filled with positive vibes, and patient. They explained things in detail and kept me informed with what was going on with my health. Although I kept saying to them I’m ok I don’t need anything, they still came to check in and make sure I was comfortable. I would truly recommend anyone to come here because I was definitely in good hands. I am looking forward to caring for myself more because they cared enough for me to get better.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst hospital ever ever been to. I’ve been here three times and I’ve never been seen their wait times are ridiculous. I go to Kettering main campus and I’m seeing within an hour here you’re not seen for over three emergency department. Is there for an emergency not for you to wait to die.

Experiencia fantástica: The Flabotamus Jillian was our favorite person during my father's stay. She talked with us and prayed with us every day we were there. It helped and encouraged us so much during the difficult time of putting my Dad in hospice. She deserves to be honored as she has a gift to comfort the patients.

Experiencia positiva: Except for one nurse, I had a great experience during my stay. Nurses and doctors, listened to my concerns and answered them quickly and put it into language I could u derstand. They took care of my stay with compassion and empathy.

Experiencia fantástica: I got transferred from urgent care in Huber to Grandview hospital where I was in the ICU for a week I was down and out had a rough time and those ladies up there are so awesome I had Jen Vanessa ,Bree ,Caroline,. And I tell you what those ladies go above and beyond their job they make you feel like your family they're so special we need more people like those ladies in the healthcare they made my experience there so good and then if I ever have any emergencies in the future this will be the hospital I go to because of them thank you ladies for going above and beyond for me and my family and taking care of me when I couldn't take care of myself he will all have a special place in my heart forever.
