Experiencia fantástica: I called one day due to severe pain on my whole spine. I was having difficulty walking. My knees would go out. My arms would twitch uncontrollably. My neck hurt so bad, constantly had a headache. Every Dr I spoke with wanted to put me back on pharmaceutical meds or injections in my spine. Then when I refused medication they wanted to do a spinal cord stimulator. That scared me as pain is a sign something is wrong. The Dr’s all admitted that I had several herniated disc, but it just wasn’t as severe as what I said. They just kept telling me it was all from arthritis and fibromyalgia (since having those diagnosis, most Dr’s stop looking and caring) These Dr’s never listened to my symptoms. They only read the images. I was able to get in the next day. (Which I was shocked as that never happens) I was greeted by a couple wonderful , smiling ladies. They welcomed us, then we met Dr. Poelking. He was very kind, professional and very intuitive. He listened to every single word that I said. Listened to all of my symptoms and did an exam. I had all of my images from previous Dr’s. Then He did some images, a week later I went in and he came up with a plan specifically for me. A plan that would get me back to be able to walk without fear of falling. To get the pain to ease up. It was a breathe of fresh air to have finally found a Dr that actually listened and took time to pinpoint all that was wrong. (Not trying to force pills down you) After my first visit I felt relief from pain that I had for well over 7months. He explained it was going to be a long process but with hard work I would be able to get most my life back. I absolutely loved coming to the office for my physical therapy. The staff is amazing! They are unlike any place else you will ever go. Very minimal wait time if any at all. Very easy to make an appointment, not booked out weeks. Normally can get in the next day!! I was at a give up point, I honestly didn’t know how I was gonna live the rest of my life with the pain I was in and no one willing to help me get answers. Just telling me that this is my life. The pain is my new life. Thankfully I seen the commercial for Dr. Poelking and thought what do I have to lose. I am so THANKFUL that I decided to make the call. That one call has changed my life. I feel so much better, I can walk again without being afraid to fall. I have a better quality of life now. He gave me the tools and knowledge to be able to better handle my pain. Now just to learn my NEW normal way of doing everything. I am forever GRATEFUL to the amazing staff that is so welcoming and always smiling!! Hands down this is the best experience. Experiencia fantástica: 17 Nov 2023 Here is my honest testimonial on my Chirothin weight loss experience. As my back pain and joint pains continued to limit my ability to live an active and healthy lifestyle, my weight continued to increase until I hit the dreaded 300+ pound mark on the scale. After consulting with Dr. Poelking, his staff and my wife, I decided to try the 42-day Chirothin program. Let me start by saying I have always been a meat and potato guy, and an extremely picky-eater. Not a fan of green veggies and won’t eat a salad (even if my life depended on it), and the fruit taste and texture really limited that aspect of my daily diet. I do like bananas as a fruit, but unfortunately for me, that was not an option during the 42-day weight loss phase. Despite myself, I was still determined to do well on the program. My wife and I came up with a wide variety of lean protein ideas, but my vegetable options were limited and my main go to fruit option was frozen strawberry smoothies with crushed ice. My goal was to beat the office record of 45 lbs. on the 42- day program. Unfortunately, my final weight loss came up a little bit short, at 44.4 lbs. Even though I came up a little short of my goal, I feel 100% better physically, mentally, and emotionally. I am now a lot more active and joined a local gym for cardio and weight training, plus I joined the local senior center to have access to a lap pool to also benefit my fitness level. At the age of almost 59 years old and at my wits end on trying to lose weight, I am so glad I decided to give Chirothin a try and the results speak for itself. The bottom line, due to my picky eating habits, if I can successfully complete the Chirothin program, there is no reason why anybody can’t have similar success. I was in so much pain and he help me get me out of pain. This time I had some pinched nerves going on due to age and degeneration. And perform magic again The staff is the nicest always welcoming the wait time is little to nothing. Experiencia fantástica: I'll begin with saying I'm going to be long winded. I was suffering from severe pain on the left side of my lower neck. this pain was an OH MY GOD! sort of pain. I did not want pain pills to treat the symptom and not the problem. With some nudging from my sister, I went to see a chiropractor, (I chose Dr Poelking because of his great commercials!) After the first visit with x-rays and exam I came to the second not knowing what to except. After seeing an x-ray of my upper spine, I was shocked to find out that 3 vertebrae on my lower neck had not moved for years, maybe decades. Because of this they were starting to grow together. I was devastated. At this point he started giving me a tutorial on the spine, how it works and its ability to last a lifetime. the best thing he told me was that he can get those vertebrae moving again. I immediately said yes to the two-month treatment. I came to my first of 24 visits not knowing what to expect. I laughed through my first because... I don't know why; it was just different. He has such an ability to relax you. But it was awesome. I was then introduced to the young professional ladies of the physical therapy area, Including Jenn with 2n's (that's how she told me to say it). Then the alien machines take over and will put you to sleep if you let them. So, I went through my treatments being greeted with two beautiful smiles every time I went through the front door. That is the way it was. Absolutely genuine care from the second you entered the building. everyone in there truly wanting the best for you. That is AWESOME!!! Well in the end what does it mean? My life has changed. I didn't realize how much mobility I had loss over the years. I have to remind myself that I have the ability to turn my neck and back again. Experiencia fantástica: Wow, where do I even start…About 25+ years ago I had two herniated discs and from that point on I’ve had back pain and stiffness that gradually had gotten worse over the years. The past year it had gotten to the point of really affecting my life not only physically but mentally. I was going to try steroid injections but decided to go to Dr Poelking first after all the good things I had heard and I’m so glad I did. He took his time to explain the Mri I had done and took his own X-rays Not only does he explain in words but also shows on the monitor and models of your spine what’s going on. He then puts it all together and puts together a plan of care. I have bulging discs (L-1 - S-1), Degenerative Disc Disease, scoliosis and foraminal stenosis. I did treatments 3 Times a week for 8 weeks. I can honestly say I’m 100% better. Dr Poelking and his staff have taught me what stretches and exercises to continue on my own and I will go for decompression once a month and if that keeps me functioning like I am now it’s been a Win Win! No more sitting on my heating pad and taking ibuprofen like candy. I was doing it ALL wrong. It’s ICE ICE baby! I suffered for 2.5 years walking with a cane and then decided to go to Poelking Chiropractic. 2 weeks later I was walking with out a cane. After 1.5 months I injured my back again lifting 66 pounds a 32 pack of water and strained my back. It has been about 2 weeks now, back to normal. I walked in as a 37 year old using a cane that I borrowed from my 80 year old neighbor (quite humbling). After 5 weeks, I walked without the cane and after 12 weeks I was a new man. Doc also gave me the inspiration and advice to drop 90lbs. 6 years later I am actually doing HIIT interval training.... who who'd have thought?!?! I went there in 2016 after a car accident that left me with some tailbone/sciatic pain issues and they got me all fixed up. Fast forward to 2021 and I am now 3 months pregnant and the back pains are fierce! I tried so many things at home with no relief. It got so bad I could hardly lift my feet to walk I would feel this terrible shock pain in my tailbone/sciatic area along with constant aching and some neck tightness between shoulder blades. I went in for an update exam he was super respectful of my pregnancy and wanted to avoid unnecessary xrays (since he had some to go off of from 2016) he literally took the time to be a human xray on me pretty much and he nailed it! I followed his suggestions for 3 adjustments and roller table therapy appointments with just a day or two between the appointments came back he checked how I felt the 3rd appointment and we spaced the next couple appointments out a little further since I was starting to hold adjustment well with MUCH LESS PAIN between visits. Now today I went in and we are able to shoot for going out two weeks and I FEEL WONDERFUL! It is like night and day! Trust his plan an his process he is a master mind. Also his therapy options after your adjustments are amazing and to your needs. The ladies at the front desk and the therapy area are very friendly and kind always checking on you and there to help. Experiencia fantástica: I just completed my rehab and wellness program I set up with Dr.Poelking. Before seeing this doctor, I could barely get out of a chair. Today, I have no problems doing so. My program consisted of a session on a high tech decompression machine, followed by a vibration machine (basically a great massage), then exercises while sitting, followed by more exercises while lying down, then 10 minutes on a Electronic Muscle Stimulator (builds muscle). Finally, I would see Dr. Poelking who would always check me out and do any manipulation necessary. While my regimen seems like a lot, each patient would be different. Dr. Poelking has an extremely professional and friendly staff. At the time of my visits, I was always greeted by Stef and/or Keena, (Both of these people are warm and always appear to be happy.) who would sign me in and let me know when to go into the treatment area. I NEVER had a wait time of more than a few minutes, which was awesome. Abby and Scott are his physical therapists who guide you through the above mentioned regimen. Both are gentle, patient, caring, and kind. I rate Dr. Poelking and the entire staff at my highest rating of 5 stars as I always felt like I truly mattered to each one of them. I will say one more thing. After YEARS of suffering and seeing various doctors to no avail, I decided I had to see a chiropractor who did decompression (sort of like opening up the spine a bit) because I knew I had degeneration in it. After YEARS of suffering debilitating pain, I can finally move again and I am still healing!

Experiencia fantástica: I have never been evaluated by a chiropractor before and quite frankly was very hesitant , however my friend insisted that I go and see one because of my neck problem that wasn't going away on its own. I youtubed exercises to do and would often take Motrin to help but still was suffering. I can say that I am very well pleased with the care that I received from Dr.Poelking and his wonderful staff. He is very down to earth and explained things to me at a level I could understand before treatment began. I felt very comfortable going to the office, and actually looked forward to my therapy time. My insurance unfortunately didn't cover my treatment, but I can say that it was worth every penny. If you are trying to decide on a good chiropractor to evaluate you , I highly recommend Dr.Poelking.

Dr. Poelking understands health and fitness and is certainly a living example. He is personable, skilled, thorough and sincere about treating you according to your individual needs. His staff are all wonderful, welcoming and very efficient. You are in and out pretty quickly. The office is clean and beautiful. In case you are hesitant about Chiropractic treatments, just do it. Give it a try first before dangerous drugs and risky surgeries. I have had amazing results with chiropractic manipulation when I was suffering from spinal misalignment and in constant pain. In addition, I signed up for the Chiro Thin Diet, and have managed to lose 31 pounds in the first 4 weeks of a 6 week diet. Experiencia fantástica: After 6 months of numerous trips to the Emergency Room and multiple doctors were unsuccessful, I decided to give Poelking Chiropractic Wellness & Physical Therapy chance to help me find out the reason that I was in pain and unable to walk. I arrived at Poelking Chiropractic on crutches and met with Dr. Poelking who did an evaluation and discussed a plan to help me. I began with Decompression Therapy, nerve stimulation, and Chiropractic adjustments. My therapy was complicated because I was on crutches. The staff was extremely accommodating to what I could do and adjusted my Physical Therapy plan based on my limitations. After awhile I started noticing that the Decompression Therapy was helping the pain in my tailbone and bladder issues that I hadn't even mentioned to Dr. Poelking. Since the bladder issue improved, I was able to have a neuro-stimulator removed that I thought I would have for the rest of my life. Once the device was removed, the Chiropractor was able to manipulate my spine where he wasn't able to before. The result was immediate; the pain was gone and I was able to not only stand but also walk. Poelking Chiropractic saved my life.

Out of sheer desperation, I called and set up a consult with Dr. Poelking. It was the best decision ever. I don't have the problems that I did. I had received trigger point injections with no relief, a trip to the Mayfield Clinic, several x-rays that showed nothing, even had an MRI. I highly recommend Dr. Poelking. After reviewing my MRI and X-rays, plus an in-office consultation, Dr Poelking laid out a course of action to correct the problem causing my pain. Experiencia fantástica: I woke up one morning with unbearable pain in my lower back. Went to the emergency room at Soin hospital. They gave me pills and sent me home with a doctors excuse for a couple of days. I was instructed to get a back brace because of my line of work. Shortly, about a month later, I bent down to pick up laundry and down I went again. Pain was back in an instant. Made an appointment with Dr. Poelking, he examined me took some x-rays, showed me what was causing me the pain. He came up with a well orchestrated get well plan. I went 3 times a week for 6 weeks. No back brace now and my back pain is gone. I would recommend seeing Dr. Poelking he made a huge difference in my situation. The staff there are also incredible people. They are very professional and personable...a great place to recover.

My initial visit with Dr. P was a lengthy session where he discussed my health history, current issues, past experiences and expectations. He laid out a treatment plan, including his expectations, and gave me the option of beginning that day or going home and processing all that he had covered . I began treatment that day. At the conclusion of my prescribed treatment plan, we met again to assess my progress, obtain my feedback and, discuss a plan for the future. I appreciated the individual time that Dr. P. devoted to me and found him to be most personable and interested in my warfare. His staff was always accommodating. I was acknowledged by name when I walked in the door and always greeted with a smile and a " ...hi, how are you doing today." Wait time was typically nil. PT Scott and Chelsie were always a step a head of my needs and I always looked forward to a friendly chat with them. Dr. Wolverton was always pleasant and supportive of my needs. This is a cohesive team that provides an overall productive experience. I usually felt like I was their only patient. I highly recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Poelking was suggested to me by a friend that was a past patient after injuring my back. My sciatic nerve was pinched between L4 & L5. Never before had I been in this kind of pain. Surgery was strongly suggested by the surgeon at MVH. Wanting to avoid surgery, I took advantage of the free first visit offered by Dr. Poelking. I walking in on a cane and assisted by my wife. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The initial exam was very thorough. I was impressed how concerned Dr. Poelking was with my wellbeing and causation to not cause me more pain. He reviewed my ex rays before creating a custom treatment. The treatments were performed by another wonderful staff in the same building. Dr. Poelking even called me the evening of my first treatment to check on my wellbeing. I now have completed my treatments and have no back pain. It was great that they took my insurance and continue to periodically check on me.
