Experiencia fantástica: Nothing says more about a business then the longevity of its staff. This facilities staff has just that, longevity. They love where they work, the people they work for and the residents they serve! If I ever have a need for skilled therapy or long-term services in the denton area I wouldn't hesitate to put my loved one under the care of Denton Rehabilitation. Thank you Denton for all that you do and continue to do for our community.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother-in-law has been at this facility for about three weeks. She has been in many different skilled nursing homes, and this one by far has earned five stars. They are so accommodating and caring. They are compassionate and understanding. This is the first place that she has not begged every day to go home. She is comfortable and feels well taken care of. This is all anyone could ask for. So if you need a place to take care of your loved ones. This is the place for them to be.

Experiencia positiva: Eva, the director of nurses, is always eager to give advise, find resolutions and give reassurance. Silvia, the case worker, never made me feel I had too many questions and or was taking up too much of her time. Tracey Wilson, CNA, was great with dad. She was able to make things seem light and normal and is a very caring person for the people she is helping.

Experiencia fantástica: My family member has been here since 2019. He has received kind, compassionate care from everyone. They do a wonderful job of communicating with us, especially during the worst of COVID. The fact that the same management team has been here 20+ years is a sign of stability and professionalism. UPDATE My family member passed away suddenly, and they did a wonderful job. Cyrus, his nurse, called me to tell me they were performing CPR, and I got there as soon as possible. Troy, the director, arrived quickly and stayed with me until the funeral home arrived. Everyone was very kind, compassionate and comforting. When I went back to retrieve his belongings the staff all came by to extend condolences and to share sweet stories about Jim. I could tell they truly care for their residents.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. The Care Plan meetng was awesome! The admission and discharge processes were a breeze! This facility really has their stuff together. They all obviously love their jobs. Communication skills were a level above. Exceeds expectations! I worked in a nursing home for 10 years and I have never observed a smoother operation. I highly recommend Denton Rehab. We have used them twice now, and we are very impressed. Experiencia fantástica: Competent and Caring! My mother was a guest here for rehab, and I was impressed with almost all aspects of her stay. I visited my mom frequently and the staff I observed working with her were friendly and able. That said, most impressive were the director of nursing / Eva, the facility social worker / Silvia, and the van driver / Mel. Eva, Silvia, and Mel are amazing! Throughout the whole stay these 3 repeatedly demonstrated an exceptional level of care and competence. As for Eva, my wife (RN) and I were so impressed with her responsiveness, knowledge, follow-through, and overall management/direction. Denton Rehab was a good experience for us.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been so pleased with the care that my father has received at Denton Rehabilitation. He receives personalized attention from the outstanding staff and I feel that his health issues are well-monitored and are attended to quickly. He used to sit at home and doze and now he enjoys the daily activities and does not even nap. He started there as a short-term rehab patient and has become a long-term resident because he is happier, more engaged with life and healthier than he has been for a long time.

From the nurses to house keeping, food service and the physical therapist's. Every one is top notch. Silvia Jackson the social worker is very kind and very professional. Thank you for taking great care of him.

Experiencia negativa: Make staff feel bad for using supplies for residents that PAY to live there. Encouraging staff to use briefs that don’t fit the patients to save money. Disgusting.

Experiencia negativa: They make CNAs out to be the bad people for wanting to give proper care!!!! The patients pay for the briefs!!! CNA should be able to their job. It's always greedy administration!!!! Get it together and take care of people!! Not your pockets!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Low paid employees , high cost of living . These people are making money hand over fist and won't foot the bill for proper underwear for the residents. The administration tht is. They have made enough money to have a brand new state of the art building built should be opened soon. I guess they saved enough on brief to get a new building!!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband was a resident of Denton Rehab and I will always remember and be grateful for the excellent care he received there. His nurses and therapists were so kind and professional. Denton Rehab will always get my vote for excellence.

Experiencia negativa: If zero stars was possible would be a better fit! First off the wound care at this facility is horrible, the nurses are not equipped with the proper tools to care for these residents with stage 3 in-depth style wounds. The management is sorry as H*ll, weekend supervisor(short puff ball w/glasses) has a horrible attitude especially with the residents. Black male nurse needs to go back to nursing school, ADON(looks mentally challenged) Is either eating and stumbling around because I assume she has club feet, or sitting and never doing any work! How could she be responsible for my family member let alone a 163 bed facility for that matter? The Administrators are money hungry, The kitchen staff is really the worst if it all! Those people are fed a large meal for lunch and then fed like peasants for dinner! The Big nasty CNA ( black guy) never changes the residents, I know because my family is always soaked on his shift, but you all complain about briefs. I also feel sorry for the environmental staff as they are all very sweet and deserve better pay! They have 2people in management whom I adore and that’s Lisa and idelme! They have never been anything but nice! Denton rehab needs to be shut down

We “Highly recommend” Denton Rebab and note that their new facility is opening soon in Denton. Be sure to look into that!

Experiencia negativa: I was there for 3 weeks after breaking my leg in 2 places. I was not provided PT. It was difficult to get my medications. I don’t eat meat and they could not figure out how to feed me. Twice I received no dinner at all; one of those times I asked for a grilled cheese but the kitchen was out of cheese and bread. There were no social services provided and I left, unable to walk, without a wheelchair, a walker or any in home PT. I fell 3 days after I was discharged and ended up back in the hospital. There were two people who were great: one nurse and one aide. I’ve been in rehab four times after injuries and this was the absolute worst.

Experiencia fantástica: The nurses provided great care for my grandfather, when he was here, even when he wasn’t the most pleasant patient. And the administration was very kind and helpful through the passing of my grandpa.

Experiencia fantástica: First and foremost I’m aware that any business or facility regardless of the industry has issues. It is not about the issue . It is about the response to rectify the issue. Denton Rehab took care of my father-in-law and believe me I know he’s not an easy resident. He’s selfish and can be very demanding. Thank you for your patience with him and making sure he had good care.

Experiencia fantástica: My Mother has been in this facility twice, and both times she had excellent care from admission to discharge. Denton Rehab is so great at taking care of the residents. Also all the employees wear a smile on their face and you can tell that they enjoy their jobs. Thank You for all you do!

Experiencia fantástica: My father has been here twice. The first time was after a knee replacement and the second time was after he had a fall and had to have surgery on his hip. Both of his stays were excellent! He loved all of the nurses and CNA's that took care of him. Every time he calls me he tells me to make sure I tell them hello for him. He absolutely loved the food at Denton Rehab. He still talks about how he ate like a king when he was here.

Experiencia fantástica: Our sweet mom stayed at this facility in Denton after having surgery on her both knees. The nurses were so sweet and welcoming. Nurse Cyrus, Linda, Tera and many others took care of our mom with great care. The medication and how they monitored her incision was well done. The housekeeper Mardine was always keeping her room clean and she did it joyfully. The dietitian was also helpful and educated mom on proper nutrition. Really enjoyed the food especially the grits . We have sweet memories for moms birthday too and how everyone took their time to check in on her and wish her well. It felt like home away from home. We are so thankful for everyone who took care of our mom and helped in her recovery. She has been up and going and catching up with all her grandkids. THANK YOU and God bless you all so much. ♥️

Experiencia fantástica: I have had great experiences with staff! My mom was here four different times and I was always able to speak with any staff member with the open door policy. Any concerns were well addressed and taken care of immediately. I have had friends who were seeking a place. I recommend Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing and each one had just as great of an experience

Experiencia fantástica: My mother has been at Denton Rehab now for 5 years. She came there after staying in 2 other facilities. The quality of care has been significantly better now than before. I am updated regularly on my mothers check up results, prescription changes and even the slightest abrasion from her scraping her leg on her wheelchair and the food is generally good. I have eaten with her on various occasions. I couldn't be happier.

Experiencia negativa: I have a friend who was a patient for 10 days at Denton Rehab. I am not recommending this rehab facility, not if you love and care for this person. He went without a shower for 4 days…he is a dialysis patient…because he was never helped to the shower or bathed his fistula for dialysis became infected! Another 6 days …no shower. One of his last nights there he was extremely cold, he asked for an additional blanket and was told there weren’t any. He ended up getting dressed into street clothes and sat in a straight chair (no recliner or soft chair) with a blanket wrapped around himself. Really? A rehab with no.extra blankets for elderly patients. So, now we are down to the food they serve. My friend requests 2 eggs for breakfast, they would only send 1 egg. Breakfast was the only meal eatable…the food they served for lunch or dinner he could only pick at. I suggest if you are looking into a rehab facility for somebody you love and care about you should look elsewhere!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about the management and staff at Denton Rehab Nursing Center. They all care about the residents. My sister has adjusted very well to living in long term care at this nursing center. This nursing center has been an incredible blessing for my family! And we have become quite fond of the them. When I stop in to visit, I am greeted with smiles and laughter and I know this is the best “home” for my sister.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had my father in their facility twice now and I can’t say enough good things about Denton Rehab. They provide excellent care to their patients, but more importantly you can tell they truly care about them and their wellbeing. EVERYONE goes above and beyond what is expected of them, from house keeping to dietary, nursing to administration you can tell they truly love their patients and their jobs. We LOVE Denton Rehab and they will always be our first choice for skilled nursing or long term care!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was at Denton Rehab 2 days after double knee surgery. My family and I are so very thankful for all the staff that took care of her, and got her up and walking in a weeks time. Her pain medication was on time, the nursing team was kind and knowledgeable, they monitored her incision everyday and ensured there was no infection. Keep up the great work! Great facility, wonderful staff all around, great food. God bless!

Experiencia positiva: Leaving 5 stars to get attention!!!! This is a terrible facility! Not because of the nurses but because of the administration!!! Nurses get into trouble if they change your loved ones dirty briefs and put an appropriate sized clean one on! The administration admitted the brief cost between 38 CENTS and $1.45 but how much are they charging your loved ones for those briefs? $10,$15,$20+ PER brief!! This is absolutely ridiculous! They don't care about your family the administration only cares about $!!! Absolutely disgusting!

Experiencia fantástica: There are not enough words to describe my love and respect for everyone working at this wonderful facility. My Mom was a resident for about 3 years before she passed and I can say I never felt like she was not properly taken care of at all times. She was happy and knowing her if she wasn't happy about something I knew it. The nurses, CNA's, housekeeping, maintenance, therapists, activities, and administration were always amazing with her. I can't say enough about this amazing facility except THANK YOU ALL!!

Experiencia fantástica: My dad was here for Rehabilitation care and he loved everything about the stay! Far as I'm concerned they spoiled him and I had to send him home haha! They are the best hands down! I have to say to that their response to Covid-19 tops the charts they are on their game to protect their residents!!

Experiencia negativa: I wish it was possable to give a lower rating than this. The administration is completely inept and uninvolved with creating any positive quality of life for the residents. They do the minimum amount of work possible, without any attempt to personalize care or create a sense of comfort for their residents.
