Experiencia negativa: Downey Dermatology has deplorable service. Most of the times I've called I've waited for a least 20 minutes to get an appointment, before giving up and re-trying on a different day. Today I waited 60 minutes and gave up. While the doctors, receptionist and the agents that make appointments are always professional, the management of the dermatology department is horrible.

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to express my appreciation and give commendation to Stella Perrell of the Neurology Department at the Kaiser Orchard Medical Offices. My daughter suffers from chronic migraines, and I literally must call daily and request a school note from my daughters Neurologist. I understand how this can be an inconvenience, however, every time I call and speak with Stella I receive a warm greeting and kind words. She’s empathetic towards what my daughter and I are going through. It genuinely feels like she cares. Stella has consistently provided me with excellent customer service and has made this difficult time in our lives less difficult.

Experiencia negativa: Urgent Care Review - Dr. Ryan Chen does not care; in a hurry; very quick to dismiss issues. Didn't address the problem that I had and took less than 20mins to assess my eye. Just diagnosed me with conjunctivitis to send me off. He didn't try to irrigate my eye or clean it and states "just come back if it's still bothering you." I don't have time to sit in a busy waiting room yet alone come back for something that could've been resolved if he had taken the time to look at it thoroughly. I have another appointment today to rectify the situation. Thanks for nothing, and wasting my time. I hope you look at your HCAHPS scores and listen to your patients! Experiencia fantástica: Even though the line was long to check in to Urgent Care, it went quick. They called me in quickly. Staff was friendly and courteous. Doctor saw me quickly. Doctor was attentive and listened to me. Put me at ease. Labs/X-rays also went quick. It was a wonderful experience. Doctor also followed up with a phone call and went over X-rays with me. Very happy with the entire experience. Thank you.

Experiencia positiva: Urgent care was fine no problems get there early you can leave in a reasonable time pharmacy no they tell you a time of 30 an hour no 1 hr later you are still waiting you ask they say 5 more minutes you see other people that come after and leave before you again you ask 5 min more at the end you ask for a supervisor they tell you none today come back Monday and wait 5 min to talk to them pharmacy is awful there was a tall gentleman there that had a horrible attitude and looked at you like if you were crazy again pharmacy there sucks next to the urgent care

Experiencia fantástica: I gave Kaiser Urgent Care in Downey, California A 10 because everyone that I encountered were kind and efficient at their job. Being in so much pain and having these type of Health Care providers make all the difference. I never go to Urgent Care or the ER unless I absolutely have no other choice. Well this time I really needed to and I was greeted with kindness, concern, compassion, respect and care, I was freezing and the waiting area so when my sister told one of the clerks she told one of the nurses who brought me warm blanket from the oven. My PA and Nurses were amazing with my treatment. I praise God for this team of Health Care professionals who were on duty at 6:00 pm at Downey, CA Kaiser Urgent Care. Thank once again ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I went to urgent care orchard building due to a broken blood vessel in my eye.. concerned it would take hours, I walked in a new updated dept., very friendly staff. Vitals taken ASAP, seen within an 30 minutes. Reassured by nurse & Dr. nothing to be concerned about. Given info to care for eye & left with a smile on my face!! Thank You Kaiser Staff❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I went today on a Saturday 06/15 because I am unable to do so during the week. I was expecting the lab to be very busy and it definitely was. At checkin it said wait was 45-60 minutes and I was prepared to wait. And I was pleasantly surprised when it was moving, I mean I probably waited 20-25 minutes. Bernando Morales (Please forgive me if I'm wrong) was so gracious in taking my samples today. He was very pleasant and very efficient in taking my blood, I didn't feel a thing. Great job Kaiser.

The Kaiser representative who took me back to where I could change my clothes was very kind and had a lovely and calming demeanor. During the mammogram I felt cared for and was treated very gently. I was a little depressed when I got there having nothing to do with this appointment but after my appointment, I felt a little better just from having been treated so kindly. And with so much care

Experiencia negativa: The cashier/ tech L198366 was rude. She had an attitude like she didn’t won’t to help me but had to because three other cashier all walked away so they didn’t have to help me. I know this because all three came back when I got called and they were watching to see if I got helped.

Experiencia negativa: Unbelievable!!!!! Apparently, when the doctor calls in an order, the Pharmacy refuses to fill it UNLESS you Check in !!!! Waiting in a huge line, just to wait 20 minutes and get in to another line!!!!!!! JUST FILL THE PRESCRIPTION!!! We will come and get it!!!!!!!!
Experiencia negativa: If you are pregnant, AVOID and change providers. I’ve never met such rude, unempathetic, and unqualified nurses as in this OBGYN department. If you want subpar care, to be dismissed, passed around like cattle, to be ignored and left in the waiting room, and for all the joy to to be sucked out of your pregnancy by nurses and doctors that could care less, Downey OBGYN is the place to go. That’s all if you are even able to get an appt to see or speak to a doctor. Considering changing providers mid-pregnancy because I have zero confidence that Kaiser can provide a quality level of care in delivering my baby.

Experiencia negativa: I'm came here for covid 19 infusion as per Dr. Grimes from ER. He said it should be done through a fast track system but ER lobby nurses put ne through regular emergency service to charge me full money. This people are purposefully ripping of ca residents. There is no need for me go through emergency for an infusion. They could have send me through any regular infusion clinic for my service to avoid unnecessary bills.

Experiencia positiva: Parking and driving around the campus is hard to navigate. Look up it up and know where you're going before hand because things are not marked well enough for as congested as the area is when you're on the car. Once you get out of the car getting around on foot is not too bad the signage and marking is much better when you're on foot.

Experiencia negativa: I came here and I usually am very happy with Kaiser due to response time. I brought my brother due to severe pain in his testicular area. My brother was in bad pain and they told him 3-5 hours since he was not a member. It’s crazy to see that in a emergency situation they make you wait this long due to member status. I believe in an emergency you can go to your nearest hospital and they should take you but unless you are bleeding out it’s first come to members and others need to wait for the max time unless you get tired of waiting. I have been to other Kaiser facilities and I was surprised how dirty it was here. The floor was has a lot of trash and some areas had feces stains♀️

Experiencia negativa: I'm so DISSATISFIED with KP today. It's been a whole week. 7 days and I have yet to receive a requested call back from either of my drs. It's always been a 3rd party calling. I'm very frustrated with the process. Example: if you have a headache, you have to see this dr. If your toe hurts you have to see another dr. If your tummy hurts another office. UUUUUGH. It's so inconvenient. If you need forms filled out. Someone other than your drs. Somebody who do not know you or anything about you in a totally different office around the corner and you the street fills the ppwk out. You have to drop ppwk off and it will be 2-3wks before you get them back. It is TOOOOO MUCH. TOO MUCH. RIDICULOUS.

Sorry I didn't get their names so I could warn all of you but if two of the dumbest guys answer your call HANG UP FAST!

Experiencia positiva: Clean facility, lots of staff most times. Hospital and Medical Offices include multiple buildings. The pharmacy seems to get busy and backed up a lot.
Experiencia positiva: The medical professionals are excellent but the poor parking will make a person miss their appointment! Terrible.
Experiencia negativa: We were verbally told and given a slip of paper with an appointment time and date. We came on the appointment time and date and were told the appointment is for next week, despite being told and having a written paper from the hospital for today. Security guards and reception staff are on their phones playing games, texting, browsing the internet - if you ask them for help or where something is, they'll look up and say they don't know. Paying high fees to have insurance here, always paying co pays, you would expect professionalism and good customer service. Instead, we've experienced foul ups, lack of empathy, lazy working staff, and an apparent only care for money here.
