Experiencia fantástica: Rimi was my physical therapist, and she is incredible. Kind and patient, for sure, but also highly knowledgeable and skilled. The massage work she did revealed and healed pain points I've apparently been dealing with for years. My sciatica pain is completely gone, when it was so crippling before that I was unable to stand for more than a minute. The rest of the staff and reception were all incredibly professional and pleasant throughout the process. I don't normally leave gushing reviews, but this place deserves one. I wasn't looking forward to physical therapy at all, and came to enjoy it as an almost spa day. If ever I need this kind of help again, this is the only place I will go. Thank you to everyone, especially Rimi, for making me feel whole again.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to literally get you back up on your feet. I recently had a patellar tendon rupture surgery and they helped me regain my range of motion on my knee in a short period of time. Recovering is not an easy task. There will be pain you just have to put in the effort and they will help you along the way. They also accept workers compensation thru Department of labor. Shoutout to the morning crew: Remi, Pia, tech support Rafy, morning receptionist and jackie from afternoon crew.

Experiencia negativa: My experience here was absolutely great with therapist and front desk until I ended up with $600 bill couple month after. The front desk ensured me multiple times that my copay was only $10 after $50 at the first appointment. After 7 visit I asked for the bill but of course they told me it would be sent at home. Now I’m sitting on $600 bill because the front desk either lied to me for several weeks (when I was making sure that my copay was $10) or it was negligent enough to either have no idea how to check on my insurance or too lazy to look deep. My mistake was to trust this people, which is not going to happen again. When I went at the front desk asking for clarification with 10 seconds (literally) she was able to tell me all the details and why I owe that much. So why this wasn’t told me when I was using the facility? Intentionally lied or negligent? Anyways, I do not advise to use this therapy place. They will still your money.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here were wonderful to work with. It’s a building full of friendly faces. I attended 8 weeks of PT and was very grateful for the people who helped me through it. Alliance is flexible with your schedule, highly motivating, and the staff are lovely people to be around. The receptionists were also very friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend this Alliance location.

Experiencia positiva: My experiences with all of the therapists, assistants, and front desk staff at Alliance were very pleasant! I enjoyed my weekly visits to work on strengthening both legs for quad/knee pain. I do wish there had been some more direction observation/instruction while I did exercises; I had to seek out a staff member if I had questions about my form. My main issue with Alliance was the billing department, it was such a headache it really soured my experience and I would not choose them again. My final visit at Alliance when I was discharged was in October 2023, and the front office told me that a final bill would be sent to me. I received no bill in the several weeks that followed, so I reached out to the billing department (a centralized number, so not any of the office staff I had directly interacted with). As more time passed, my concern grew that maybe a bill existed and I wasn't receiving it somehow. I did not want the bill to show up to any entity as 'unpaid' and affect my credit. It is now June 2024 and I have finally received my final bill, 8 months after my final visit. I estimate I called the billing department between 8-10 times over those 8 months getting the same non-answer each time. The billing department person would look up my account, tell me there was a note about my previous call, and that someone was supposed to have followed up. The person said they would check with the manager since there was something unique about my insurance, and someone would call me back. Never did I actually receive a call back in all of these occurrences; I would have to call again in a few days or weeks and present the same question about my bill. Perhaps the 8th time I called in June 2024, the person said the bill was finalized and they would send it to my email. I was so relieved! Even if there was something unique about my insurance and it was taking extra time to process, the billing department never had any answers for me when I called until the final time. Even when the bill was finalized, it wasn't sent to me until I called to ask for it. Without my persistence, I'm not sure I would have ever received anything.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful caring staff. I started my healing process with a level of pain that was off the charts 15 if you want to use a scale. Now one year later it’s a 1-2 level. The therapist who works on me is always very positive and sincere and does a very good job helping me manage the pain teaching me exercises and educating me on how to get better and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I’m so very grateful for their patience their empathy and their never give up determination to help me get thru such a difficult time. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. It’s nice in today’s cold and impersonal world to feel like you matter. Thank you Alliance

Experiencia fantástica: I started seeing Dr. Lauren Hale for neck pain a month ago. She is the most positive and warm person I've ever met. I wish all doctors were like her. She always explains what she's about to do before she does it, answers any questions I have, and checks in to see how I'm feeling. 10/10 would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: The prescription from Dr. Steven Hughes of Ortho Virginia was: (a) Stabilization Program on the Lumbar; (b) Traction on the Lumbar and (c) Abdominal/Core Strengthening Exercise. I was to avoid lumbar extension. I checked with Ms. Melissa Weaver on around January 24 or 25. She has been very thorough and effective. In addition to the exercises in your facilities, she prepared a customized exercise program which I could perform at home. I followed this religiously. We worked as a team. My experience was Total Satisfaction. Ms. Weaver was very patient and caring. I appreciate this. I had a similar satisfactory experience with Ms. Rimjhim Sharan who filled in for Ms. Weaver as when needed. She also worked with me early December 2015. Value for Money on the whole. Dr. Sidi C. Experiencia fantástica: I have had my share of physical therapy at various establishments, but none can match the caliber of the service provided by Rimjhim and Xylene. This is my second time I have used Alliance Therapy, and I have been just as pleased with my results as I was five years ago. These two professionals are extremely knowledgeable, always attentive, and steadfastly dedicated to achieving results. They know when to push, and they know when to offer support and encouragement. I highly recommend these therapists, and I also appreciate the technicians and front office support. They are very professional, accommodating, and just a joy to work with. The front office employs just the right person, namely Claudia, to offer a positive and caring first impression. My experience is a model of what would hope for when participating in physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend the therapists enough at Alliance. I spent 6 months going to Alliance, and they each took time to get to know me and to help me progress. When my progress was slow they suggested that I try dry needling. This was a game changer for me. Keki was amazing, and dry needling made a huge difference for my progress. The front office staff is patient and will help you schedule and reschedule appointments as needed. It’s also a very inclusive practice, where people of all different backgrounds, languages, and walks of life come for therapy. I am so thankful to the team at Alliance for all they did to get me to this point.

Experiencia fantástica: I went for carpal tunnel syndrome and wrist pain. I thought I would need surgery. Instead my occupational therapist Nathalie Miller was fantastic. She developed a treatment that made the symptoms and pain go away. She educated me about my wrist and what caused the pain in the first place. If you have pain or an injury, I highly recommend Alliance for OT and PT.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at APT Alexandria at Kenmore are seriously THE BEST PTs I've ever experienced. I typically don't like PT. But these guys changed everything for me. From the extremely courteous front desk staff like Jessica, et al. to the PTs like "Rimi," "Zy," and Mohammed -- I have loved what they have done for me in helping me to heal after surgery. I am very very particular when it comes to these types of services. Let me just tell you that the team at this Alexandria office has blown away my expectations of what great customer at a PT office should look like. They take PT and excellent customer service to a whole new level! Thanks guys!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have had a great experience at Alliance. My right hip arthritis had been painful and energy-sapping for almost 9 months. I had tried chiropractic treatments, theraputic massages, and another physical therapy site. None of these gave me any long-term relief. I started at Alliance and they found the area most affected and worked on it. My pain is almost totally gone and my energy is restored. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to alliance for the past 7 months now to recover from a traumatic brain injury due to a stroke. The right side of my body was so weak I could not walk. I did not feel like I would ever recover. Thanks to all of the therapists there, I went from being practically immobile to now walking without a walker or cane. Nathalie (OT) really pushed me to retrain my brain by tailoring my exercises specially to my brain injury. If you have a TBI or a stoke, she is the absolute best. She is very patient, understanding, and we had a lot of laughs. I felt very safe and have been able to regain feeling on my right side. Ketki and Popo have worked with me to gain back the ability to walk and balance. I am very thankful for the care and patience of this team. I recommend to this location of Alliance PT to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I picked this location for convenience, and because it had five stars - and now I know why. Super easy scheduling thanks to a team approach means if a work event comes up last minute I can reschedule - the last place I went, you had to book out at least six weeks to get your preferred time. Staff are young, but really good - I’ve learned a lot about my condition, was appreciative of the time they took to understand my goals and what getting back to normal meant for me, and most importantly I made more progress at this practice than the other I went to before. They also have more tools at their disposal, it seems like… dry needling, e-Stim, vibration therapy, cupping, etc. Lastly, but it’s not insignificant, they genuinely like each other … the environment is really warm and friendly, patients talk to each other a lot - you don’t have to interact, you can just go in so the work and leave, but it’s a nice vibe regardless. They’re out of network for me, but I pay the difference because it’s working - I’m finally healing and getting stronger, and you can’t put a price on that.

Experiencia fantástica: The crew of professionals, from the front desk to the therapy area, are phenomenal! When I began therapy my knee was a mess. I was in great pain and could hardly walk. I had sprained the MCL on my left knee. Within four weeks, I was able to bend my knee 132 degrees and within six weeks, 138 degrees. This was an amazing improvement because I started only able to bend it 120 degrees. I highly recommend this therapy group.

Nathalie has helped me tremendously and consistently provides innovative therapeutic solutions. Nathalie really listens to her patients and constructs tailored therapy ensuring improved results and pain management. The entire staff is extremely nice and helpful. I highly recommend the Kenmore Ave in Alexandria facility. Equipment is great, it would be nice to see the management staff invest in cosmetic upgrades to the office on par with other Alliance sites I have seen in the area.

Due to my work hours, I need to find a place that works long hours so I could go after work hours. I feel better after my sessions and when I miss some of my sessions, I can feel it. If I named everyone I have known thruout the years at Alliance, I would take all day naming them. The identification of my weaknesses, explanation of what is causing my pain, and treatment were all phenomenal. I will not go anywhere else for treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Taey.
