Experiencia negativa: Attempted to see Michael Kogan at the Elgin office for a follow-up for continued knee pain after a surgery several years ago (not related, I don't think). Apparently they have a new computer system that requires all patients to fill out multiple pages of paperwork that could have been done ahead of time (and not from a clipboard on my lap). After 40 minutes, I left before paying a co-pay when I was told the doctor was running more than an hour late. Everyone in the waiting room was complaining to one another, the office staff was bickering about the delays and computer problems and one patient told to show up an hour late next time (not sure what he meant by this) when I left. Someone should have/could have called me prior to my appointment to see if I wanted to reschedule before I showed up. I did not reschedule and will be seeing someone else for my knee pain in the future. Is overbooking routine here? I appreciate the apology and response, but I think your problems extend beyond a new software system. You should seek feedback from your current clients. I am going elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Jarod is Dr Seeds PA. This is the second time he gave me cortisone knee injections. My knee were very painful and Jarod was so gentle with the injections. I will be able to hike again with my nonverbal adult son again in a few days!! Jarod is just as fast as Dr Seeds- in and out. Jarod also recommended a brace for my left knee when I hike or mow the hilly lawn. What a wonderful addition to the orthopedic team. I believe he’s been there 2 years now! Great orthopedic practice and always so accommodating toward my son- who at times can be a handful with his autism. ❤️

Experiencia positiva: Well it was very fast and a lot of uhhuh’s. First thing he says is I’m looking at a knee with KT type. What was I supposed to do when my physical therapist asked if I want KT tape to help support the knee so I’m not in as much pain! The way he said it was as if “why are you here, if you’re already tapped up”. So definitely room for improvement but once we got past the KT type he was very clinical.

Jim truly exemplifies what an outstanding MRI tech should be. Jim greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile, immediately putting me at ease. He took the time to explain the procedure in detail, addressing all of my concerns and questions with patience and expertise. It was evident that he possesses a deep understanding of the MRI process and was more than willing to share his knowledge. During the MRI itself, Jim exhibited the utmost professionalism and precision. He ensured my comfort throughout the procedure, providing clear instructions and reassurance at every step. Jim has a calm and reassuring demeanor and made what could have been a daunting experience surprisingly stress-free.

Also St. Joseph hosp was so exceptionally professional, caring and respectful. I only ask myself why did I wait so long. Everyone states Dr. Palmer is by far the best everywhere I go.

I made sure that I did everything he said with the hard work of therapy. I'm 65 years old and now I have many more years of playing golf when I retire.
