Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough about Parkview Care Center. My husband was a resident there for three months. The leadership that facility gets from the Executive Director, Krista Adams, is unlike anything I've ever seen in healthcare. Every single department, nursing, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, activities,, laundry, therapy and ALL office personal, are the most caring and professional staff. He has been home 2 weeks now and still talks about them everyday...Parkview will forever have a special place in our hearts!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My grandpa was a resident here. When asked about how he liked it, he said he would go back in a heartbeat if he could take his wife with him. Jessica in therapy kept him going. He had his buddies Derrick and Robert in dietary who made sure he had his coffee. Thank you to all of Parkview for taking care of him. It will never be forgotten

Curtis, Suzie, Tara, Tammy, Amber, Laura, Brea, Amy, Zoey, Joy, Jackie, Denise, Diane, Autumn, Angel, Alicia, Kristie, Isaac, Shannon. These are some of the wonderful employees that take care of the patience here at parkview. I would recommend this Facility.

She has went above and beyond making sure I'm taking care of. She has took the time to make my bed. Made sure I had my meds on time, and just really went out of her way to help me.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly I have nothing good to say about this facility. They are extremely understaffed. Everytime I came to visit My grandmother it was almost impossible to find any staff. On multiple occasions we found soiled clothes and diapers everywhere I'm my grandmothers room. The admission office is aweful at communications in general. They are extremly disorganized. It was either my grandmother clothes were dirty and soiled or they would send it off to the wash and it would never come back or be found on another residents body. Almost everything my grandmother arrived with she no longer has. Just all I can really say is the whole facility is extremely unorganized. I found myself frequently angry with the lack of care that was given to my grandmother. They also lack cleanliness.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff were amazing. From the business office to therapy and nursing. They were so kind to not only my dad who was the patient ,but to my mom visiting. They would answer her many questions and make sure she was comfortable while visiting.

Experiencia fantástica: My father has been at Parkview since 2019 until this past Monday 5/22/2023, as he passed away that day. From my first phone call with Brittany Burton in the business office, I knew Parkview was the place my dad could call home for the rest of his days! She has been with me EVERY STEP of the way from helping me get Medicaid rolling to answering all financial questions I have had, even through a pandemic! I can't say THANK YOU enough for helping me through these last few years! The staff at Parkview is amazing from the CNAs to the social worker, Amber! They have made sure my dad was well cared for as they all truly care! One nursing manager, Nurse Jackie, has gone above and beyond her call of duty...my dad just thought the world of her and she took has taken EXCELLENT CARE of him until his literal last breath! With all of heart, thank you Parkview for all you have done for my dad and our family! I can't say it enough...THANK YOU!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you to the staff at Parkview Care Center for the excellent care of my mother. I dreaded putting her into a nursing home, but she was unable to live on her own and falling. Everyone took great care for her and would always address any concerns or questions along the way. And when my mother fell ill and had to be in hospice, they were so helpful during a very difficult time, to the end. Their physical therapy team, nurses, admin staff and social services are excellent. Thank you, to all of you.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely despicable place to have your love ones at. They refused to pay attention of times when my mother needed her medicine. They barely came and checked on her throughout the day. When they closed down because of COVID they told a lady outside who was crying because she wanted to see her sister before she died. One of the staff said, “Cry to corporate.” Towards the end of my mother’s stay they only gave us 3 days notice that she had to be out of there due to her insurance not paying. They claimed that we would automatically owe $9,000 if she was to stay just one day over. Everything about this place is horrible except a few staff members. I wouldn’t take my dog here!

Experiencia fantástica: I worked my first shift here as an agency nurse this week and I had a great experience! Shannon was so sweet and helpful as I had never been here before, even when i kept pestering her with questions. The rest of the staff was great as well. They were easy to work with, gave me great tips on likes and dislikes of certain patients and really showed how much they cared about their patients/residents. The residents needs and comfort really did come first and call lights were answered as quickly as possible. Several of the residents even showed care and concern for their peers. As far as nursing work goes, I stayed fairly busy passing meds, but it was totally do-able. There was not a crazy amount of charting and calling doctors, offices, labs, pharmacy, ect like I have had in other places. I am looking forward to getting to work for them again!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom loves the activity they do everyday for the residents . They play bingo , they paint , Chips n dip day, they help bake cookies, Corn hole contest , karaoke, they celebrate birthdays , coloring sheets , fruit day and much more . I visit my mom 4 or 5 days a week and every employee in thst.building says hi to me . They do your laundry, you get 3 meAls a day , they keep your room clean . , give you a bath: shower and there is a beautician that is there every Wednesday to either cut , set or perm your hair

Experiencia fantástica: My sister was in Parkview for about three weeks. She received excellent care. She commented on how friendly and caring all of the staff were to her. I especially am grateful for Amanda in admitting, and Amber the social worker. I would highly recommend Parkview to anyone. Kudos to the staff and leadership for a job exceptionally well done.

Experiencia fantástica: We decided to admit my Father in Law to Parkview after his second stroke. The rehab staff and nurses paid such exceptional care. Jo-Anna was so thorough and attentive during his therapy sessions and he still to this day uses the same techniques that he acquired from her. She was pregnant at the time, but that did not hinder her desire to have my dad in the best shape possible. She was set on a goal to get my dad to be able to stand and walk on his own. It was her strength and determination that gave my dad the courage to push through every day they had a session. There was a nurse in the evening which I can’t recall her name I believe it was Maggie, she treated dad like family. And that was what he needed in the time he was there, he needed to be loved and treated like a part of a family and during a pandemic where visitation was scarce they made us feel welcome. They showed us where his room was and we camped outside his window to have picnics. When the facility was back open to visitors the took such great measure to ensure that the residents were safe. He is now home thanks to the love and commitment of the staff there. We highly recommend the facility to those who are looking for care for their loved ones .

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived here 14 days after being admitted to the hospital for double pneumonia caused by COVID-19. From the first person I met to the last the staff is caring. Yes 2 or 3 members of staff are as my mom might say "rough around the edges" but that is ok. I am rough around the edges too. I was sent here for rehab with the intention of returning to my apartment. I started therapy the next morning. I was here less than 16 hours and therapy was in my room. I cannot say enough about the team run by Miss Julie. I hope I don't forget anyone but I apologize if I do. Joanne Jordan Amanda Alex and my breathing angel Stephanie took so much pride and sincere concern for me into their work it is the difference between me getting better and not. Bottom line Staff terrific Facility Clean Food pretty darn good Nursing great. I could not have been more impressed than I was. Thank God for Parkview.

Experiencia negativa: If you care about your loved one, I beg, please do not take them to this facility. DON is awful; she desn't know what's going on as she has never worked the floor. Residents rooms are the filthiest rooms you have ever seen. There are only a couple of a good CNAs and nurses there. The rest of CNAs are allowed to do whatever they want with no consequences, including not doing a bedcheck the whole shift.

Experiencia negativa: I have never been so upset with the care I have seen given to my grandmother in the past few years while she has been at parkview care center in Evansville, IN. Thankfully she was just moved to West River nursing home after a year or so of her daughter making calls daily to get her moved. She will probably not live much longer at this point and I feel this is due to the care she received at parkview. She was not bathed, fed or taken care of properly. Now she will not even open her eyes or mouth to eat or drink. I will never recommend this place and will let everyone I know about the horrible care my grandmother received.

Experiencia fantástica: I have known this facility for more than 11 years and I love the workers especially the Rehab Team! Everybody loves the residents in a real loving family kind of way; eventhough it is sometimes hard to please the families especially during this pandemic, things are not normal and still has not been, but we are all pulling through, coming to work no matter what just to make sure our residents are taken care of. Grateful for everyone!

Every one of the staff is best at what they do here they really do care about each and every one of their residents and will bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need. I received nothing but the best of care here for the time I was here and consider them a extension like family.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was only at Parkview a few weeks before she passed on January 31, 2020, and she was in the hospital for some of those days. But I'm so glad she was there, and so glad she returned from the hospital to pass away there with all her familiar things & these very special and caring people. When we returned from the hospital on hospice care, they had prepared a little private room for her so we would have privacy and peace when she passed which was the very next day. Staff had taken time & care to move all her things into this room, and make it homelike with her own quilt and all her things around her. And when the ambulance arrived bringing her back, the tech & RN on duty met us as if we were their family. They settled mom so gently and let us know they were there for anything we needed. We also experienced love and kindness all the days before that last hospitalization. I visited frequently, and both mom & I saw example after example of the genuine care the staff had for all the residents. Mom was Activity Director for centers like this one for over 30 years, and she knew this one was special. I almost don't like thanking individuals for fear I'll leave someone out. I don't want to do that because every single person was so kind & is so special. But I want to thank a few by name. Thank you Tammy. And Karen. And Wendy. I'll never forget any of you.

Experiencia fantástica: The nursing staff is extremely experienced, caring and kind. The therapy was creatively focused on exceeding goals. The facilities were clean and odor free, unlike most places. The overall staff is very welcoming and friendly. The wound care nurse is genius at her job, knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. The nurse staffing manager is a true leader and seemed to have a handle on the crucial and critical details.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a resident of the greatest nursing center in Evansville...I am well cared for. They pay special attention to needs and make sure that I am satisfied. I see my DON angel every single day. I make sure new residents are introduced to activities dept. I do the readings for Sun church and more people now attend. The assistant to my angel ADON is also very attentive to my needs. I recently placed 2nd in Christmas Card decorating contest.

They set course and helped me navigate to get home. Choosing to come to Parkview for outpatient therapy. Nursing staff is knowledgeable and thorough.

Experiencia negativa: I have had sever problems with the staff here, they don't shower my wife but when they want to, she was due for one Sunday and she didn't get it. I was just now there and she was filthy. Also, I bought her a new mobility electric chair for Christmas because she needs it, and they won't let her use it. I'm out thousands of dollars for nothing. There unlawfully keeping her immobile. I need a lawyer to bring them to justice.

Experiencia fantástica: The philosophy here is so amazing. The staff realizes that they are working in the residents home and not that residents are staying in a place that is about their work. It has a warm atmosphere and feels nurturing. They have a Director who is committed to making sure the residents are getting the absolute best care possible. I am so thrilled that in our aging society to find a place that is finding a way to change the negative landscape that this industry has been mired in.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm 44 years old and currently awaiting a heart transplant. I was told by my physicians that I needed to go to a nursing facility where I could receive in house therapy and get as strong as physically possible while I await the procedure. After exploring my options, I chose Parkview Care Center ... and I definitely made the right choice. The facility is clean and well maintained, the staff are extremely approachable, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the therapy department has far exceeded the expectations of both myself and my doctors. Through meticulous care and expert instruction and guidance ... I am currently much, much stronger (both physically and mentally) and in far better shape for surgery than even my doctors had hoped for. Thanks, Parkview ... for not only looking after my health in the present, but for helping me achieve hope for a bright and fruitful future!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was a resident at Parkview for 3 years. She received excellent care from the therapy department and nursing staff. I was worried when she was first admitted on how she would adjust. The activity staff was excellent giving her lots of fun things to keep her busy. She enjoyed the outings from going to the fall festival and being in the parade, going out to eat at different restaurants, and even going fishing which she loved. Holidays were special some of which were the Mothers day tea, Easter egg hunt, Trick or Treat at Halloween, and Christmas was special all month. Activities usually included family being invited which I really enjoyed also. She became a part of the Parkview family making many friends with the staff and fellow patients. She enjoyed going into the beautiful courtyard and the pets. The staff always greeted her by name and made her feel special, even though she often couldn't remember theirs. The staff often went the extra mile even coming in to prepare for special events like the Thanksgiving dinner for residents and family. I am grateful for the care she received at Parkview and would recommend.

I am here on tracheostomy care and lymphedema The staff and management here are the BEST always quick to address my needs and those of other people here They check to make sure if you want a shower or not bring food to your room if you do not want to go eat in the dining hall I ve seen them feed others they go out of their way to make it happen! This is a fantastic place DO not let one negative comment keep you from either yourself or putting a loved one here this place is truly fantastic!

My father was given top notch care from all staff members. My sister and I were included in every aspect of his care as well. The facility was clean and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Not only did we enjoy seeing the staff members, we loved seeing the pets that reside at Parkview. They certainly made my father feel at home. Thank you for taking such good care of our father. I think lots of people are In denial of their loved one's condition and remain angry for the things they can not change. People need to realize that there are many different facilites in Evansville...if you are not happy at PARKVIEW....move your loved one. From my experience, you may have a rude awakening at other facilities!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My father was a resident at Parkview and he was well cared for. Each time I visit, the staff is friendly and the residents are content. I will choose this as the facility I will go to when I need a nursing home.

Experiencia fantástica: My Grandma went to Parkview in 2013. We struggled as a family with the decision. The staff at Parkview listened to our concerns and helped us adjust. Our insight was also helpful for them to provide better care. My mother was very involved with my grandma's care and the staff at Parkview became an extension of our family. We thought we were going to lose her due to the injury that brought us here. But she was able to recover, participate in social activities and realized this was now home. At 94 years old, my grandma passed in March of 2017 and Parkview did everything they could do to make the difficult situation as peaceful as possible. I am thankful for ALL of the staff and don't want to leave anyone out..,but give a special shout out to Ron, Donna, Tanya, Cindy. Angie and especially Reverand Jerry and his wife. Thank you to all of the Nursing AIDS! Your efforts and patience are very much appreciated! And to the residents that are thought of often, thank you for being kind to my grandma. Especially Fran and your beautiful smile and Allie for your kind heart!

Experiencia fantástica: Having worked extensively w this facility I can say they have a great staff who really cares. All departments take pride in what they do and the rehab and wound care really stand out. They have excellent technology, a certified wound care nurse, and they take great pride in no new aciquired wounds and caring for wounds that come in from home or outside facilities. LifeCare corporate motto is "whatever it takes and then some" and the people at Parkview truly take that to heart.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been working at Parkview for almost 17 years. Therapy is a close knit family with very little to none turn over in staff. All the staff CNA's to nurses and therapies all work together to get things done.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are great, very caring and helpful. They are very attentive and do such a great job. The environment is very calm and peaceful. Just a great place. The programs are very engaging and I love how they use let therapy with the residents.

We are not the largest or newest building but we are a caring group of people who enjoy providing great care to our residents. Our pets are a positive addition to our homelike environment. Experiencia fantástica: Parkview Staff are the most caring people around. They have an amazing team of people that work together. I love that they also have pets that come in and stay there as part of the family of the residents. There is a large variety of activities and outing to give the residents something to fill there time with.

Experiencia fantástica: I was there for two weeks for inpatient therapy. All the nurses and therapists were very nice and attentive to my needs and questions. My experience there exceeded my expectations, that I even requested to continue my outpatient therapy at this facility.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible Horrible Horrible!! Understaffed from skilled to unskilled. If you get the right nurse or cna it can be tolerable. But often times the nurses are rude and unprofessional and seemingly under educated. I would not send my enemy there after the consistently poor treatment my mother received.
