I don’t remember her name but I tried to make an appointment up which was going to be tomorrow but I tried to get out of it because of how rude and disrespectful she was to me. If she’s like that on the phone then I can’t imagine how I’ll be treated in person. Thankfully I’m out of there but the weird thing was I wasn’t on the patient list to begin with. Turned out she had me cancelled the whole time and never even bothered to call me about it. So if anybody goes to this place don’t say I didn’t warn you. Experiencia fantástica: I have lower back issues and hip issues. I have had multiple suegeries and done PT elsewhere. When I say Advance therapy is the ONLY place I will do PT, I mean it. They aren't just focusing on the back and hip. I left after my first visit not waddling and my range of motion has greatly improved even after my second visit. They focus on WHOLE body recovery, your core, your arms, your pelvic floor, your knees, ankles, quads. You will not find a more knowledgeable group of clinicians. It may be a small clinic(Traemore), but what they are able to help you accomplish with their knowledge surpasses any other physical therapy ai have gone through! The entire facility is bright and clean and everything has a purpose. All patients have therapists who focus on them for the entire 40 minutes—no one just plops you on an elliptical machine and checks on you periodically. Each exercise and activity has a purpose which is always thoroughly explained in language patients can understand, not just medical jargon. And they work muscles you didn’t even know you had!

Makaila does an excellent job at explaining what and why and where we are heading with each exercise she teaches me. She takes care to insure I am doing them correctly as to not add to my injury or pain. She pushes but explains the importance of doing so especially when doing them at home and want to stop at the slightest discomfort. I can hear her encouraging me to press on. Everyone is friendly here and I’ll even say the front desk help I receive from Marissa is always with a smile!

Experiencia negativa: Michelle is great, the owner- not so much. I have been a patient at APT for almost two years, seeking therapy for multiple reasons. I have had dry needling, $25 a treatment during some sessions. I was told during my first visits in 2022 that dry needling was NOT paid by Tricare (I am a dependent). I thought this was strange because I had not ever paid for it before but knowing that I have had much success with needling I didn't make a big fuss. Recently my Podiatrist advised me that she wanted me to have dry needling as part of my treatment. I quickly said the place I currently go to provides it but they charge. She assured me that I should not be charged. I decided to contact Tricare directly and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that dry needling is included if it is part of the treatment. I called and spoke to one of the owners of APT and explained to her what I had discovered. She stood on her idea that dry needling is indeed not covered and that my charges were valid. I told her what Tricare said and advised her that I have two more PT Authorizations and a PT location named Revolution includes dry needling as treatment hoping that she would at least look into my findings to retain me as a patient. Instead, she said well good luck with that but I am sure that is not the case. I triple checked with Revolution to ensure I wasn't mistaken and confirmed that they DO NOT charge their patients an additional fee for dry needling as part of the treatment. I called APT back and cancelled my remaining service with them and moved all 3 of my Physical Therapy cares (yes, I am broken) to Revolution! A week later I received a $75 no show/late fee bill in the mail. The first time in my 28 years as a military spouse being charged for medical service as a treatment AND a late/no show fee. Do I think this was petty, of course. It has added insult to injury especially after having me pay for dry needling at $25 a pop for the past almost two years. I guess I should have double checked the first time. I am shocked that this owner could not be bothered to want to do her very best for a (Tricare) patient especially in such a military heavy community. Yes, I'll pay her the $75 dollars because I guess it is the additional price I will pay to write this review. Beware of businesses that are in a military community but not truly FOR the military.

I found Krista last year when I was not able to walk nor sit without pain; she fixed me, she listened to issues based on my provided information and gave me blessed results. I came back again September of this year when I sprung my already sensitive back issues, as I have a 15” rod in my back that saved me from a wheelchair, thanks to Dr. Hey (Raleigh surgeon) who referred me to Advance Physical Therapy, who are very familiar with scoliosis issues, etc.. Krista and Michelle worked with me and at 70 yrs old …per Krista, I work out at a local gym twice weekly and am painless again. Thank you Krista for being my always requested physical therapist and Michelle, both were instrumental in my swift recovery. Again, Thank You Krista (my miracle worker) and Michelle for all you do, as well as all the physical therapist and staff at Advance Physical Therapy, who provide positive results for their clients, unconditionally. Construction, accidents and red-lights all come into play. I was running late, called them to see if I needed to reschedule, but they were very understanding and took me right in. The therapist that I was assigned to was quite knowledgeable about my condition and can hopefully bring back some normalcy to my life.
