Experiencia negativa: I have been going there for a while. Service there is horrible. You can't even have your doctor call you back. It is against their policy and they are rude to you. They don't never call you back.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient for over a year and I am always in so much pain however through it all nurse Courtney is the greatest! From the time she opens the door to call me back her smile radiates. She is very professional and super compassionate. It's like she knows how I am am feeling and what I need. I also have anxiety issues but I love talking with her and I always feel better mentally before seeing the doctor as well as when she walks me out. Also when I call she always answers my questions or directs them quickly to the physician. When I go to the doctors offices anywhere what I want is a great nurse! Courtney is the best!

Experiencia negativa: I've been a patient here for 12 years. Peter Kalogerenis, PA, has been wonderful. I trusted him and was comfortable with him. He wasn't afraid to try new treatments and always made sure I had something for my chronic pain. Unfortunately, he has moved on to other opportunities, and the new PA is not nice. Miss Zarah needs training in bedside manner and listening to the patient. She was rude, impatient, and didn't seem to care about my issues. When I asked about my regular medication for pain management, she said, "I'm telling you now this is not a discussion." Um, what?! A patient can't have a discussion with their provider now? And she prescribed acetaminophen- which is a joke for level 5-7 pain. I was sorely disappointed and wouldn't return to see this PA unless she was the last provider on earth. What a letdown after all these years. Unbelievable.

Experiencia negativa: If you’re a new patient, stick to the exact details to your appointment. You’re required to show up 30 mins early prior to the set time of your appointment. There is ZERO grace period. Not even the military is that strict and they tolerate very little. The 30 mins prior It’s for them to input your info in their system from a hefty newcomers packet they send home prior to your appointment. It’s something that they can do while you’re being seen, but for whatever they are extremely adamant about you being at the prescribed time. I understand that there’s a reason for that, but when you show at the actual time of your appointment and not the the 30 mins early, you should not be considered a no show and not be seen. I’ve waited a couple months for this appointment and the doctor was not willing to bend his own rules. I was told instead that I can stick around and hope for the next person to be a no show in hopes to be able to get seen. The gap between that and the next person showing up was 45 mins. You’re telling me that in that window there was no way to still proceed for what was already scheduled for my appointment? This first experience was absolutely horrible and that just at the window service from what I was being told. I can’t fully speak on the doctor, but being that the information I was given was from the doctor supposedly, well that’s all I can go off of. I’ve never dealt with something like this ever at any doctors office of any sort and I’ve had to attend MANY appointments at many different facilities.
Experiencia negativa: Worst place evere! They have some serious communication issues. I need an important letter for work and it's going on a month now since I informed them. I have attempted several times to inquire about the status of the letter; have even waited 3 business days on each call and still have yet to hear back from the physician's medical assistant! Unrealistic. I will be cancelling future appointments and going somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I would just like to say that this office is doing a Great job.. the dr's here are overwhelmed with patients, due to a shortage of dr's.. but they do try to keep things on track.. Especially " Jasmine", she works up front at the checkout desk.. if I ever have problems, which I do, she helps me get things straightened out in a timely manner.. "Jasmine" is the one that knows what to do, if you ever have a problem, she is the one to deal with.. she has the experience and knoledge to get things back to normal.. Experiencia fantástica: Zarah Pulfrey PA-C is a WONDERFUL provider! She has great bedside manner and is always looking for the best patient outcome. She is open to questions and explaining exactly what the treatment plan consist of. She isn’t interested in shoving our opioids, she wants to treat the root of the pain. If you want to improve your quality of life she’s the medical provider for you.

Experiencia positiva: I was referred to this place via military, I have been trying to make an appointment for over 2 weeks now. Someone picks up and immediately hangs up every time. And have made over a half dozen calls. As per their medical practice, I am hoping it's better than being able to reach someone. Will update after my visit with them. - Was finally able to get ahold of someone. They got some new staff and was able to explain the issue, and the gentleman I spoke to was genuine and apologetic as well as very helpful. Was able to get seen within a few days. The front desk lady was super nice and welcoming. Between the three people I had an encounter with to include the doctor; were all polite and super professional. Updating from a 1 to 4 star.

Experiencia fantástica: Never had an issue getting in and my appointment is always on time. The receptionists are polite and professional. I've been seeing Dr. Peter Kalogerinis for chronic pain this year, he's always professional and efficient. On my last visit, there was a scheduling error with the front desk and my referral was about to expire. Dr. K was so generous and made sure I received treatment, despite the error. Would highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: It’s impossible to get a hold of these people to make an appointment. I have been trying to schedule an appointment since November it is now February. This place is a joke spend your money somewhere else.
Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed. Former patient, who was very satisfied, trying to get back in with a new referral and no one would answer my messages or my email. Business must be good if no new patients are wanted. Would be nice to speak to someone, but waiting I guess it's time to look elsewhere.
Experiencia negativa: Already notified my Primary Doctor. I was referred to this facility and I was appalled with such behavior to how unprofessional and rude one of their medical staff members. I guess I'm not the only one who had encountered with this Cruela-Jazmina-Deville. After reading all these reviews and seeing the same problems with this individual, I will see to it that this issues be addressed to the right appropriate Management. She is not fit to work with patience or with anyone at the Front Desk. 2/26/21 I complained to there office Manager couple of months ago. It took her almost a month and a half ago to return my call. After I spoke to her I brought to her attention concerning her front desk employee Jazmina-deville but that is not the only issues. When it comes to answering calls, or even if you leave any messages they are not prompt in returning your phone calls. Lucky if you even get a call back. I already brought this issues to Humana-Tricare. I don't think there office Manager even done anything to correct the situation nor have they addressed me that its been handled. Referred patience like myself shouldn't have to feel such a way of being uncomfortable or unwelcomed for such behavior displayed by their staff members which should be a zero tolerance to any businesses. I left another message to there office and yet still the same nothing had changed.
Experiencia negativa: Nicole at the front desk is rude, suggested that I go to a different doctor's office because she couldn't answer my question. As a matter of fact she wouldn't answer my question wouldn't answer my questions, lied to me saying that she wasn't sitting there at the desk when I came up the first time and that she was on lunch. That's incorrect because she couldn't find my name the first time and another receptionist had helped her. Nicole was verbally inconsiderate and had it overall air of being better than others She was smug an and was overall unprofessional. Proper training and professional development may be needed. If the next time I visit the office she talks to me the same way I will find another doctor's office to patron. Pretty sad that one person can run a businound, been going there for the better part o f10 years.
Experiencia fantástica: Complete satisfaction! I have always been treated with the respect, dignity, and sincere compassion from the entire staff. The physicians are thorough, with the “bedside manner” we all hope for when being treated for any injury/illness! The supporting staff; always warm , friendly, and ready to help with the things patients tend to struggle with! From the dreaded pre-authorizations to comply with insurance down to the welcomed words of encouragement showing the care is genuine! Not forgetting the front office who is beyond helpful with scheduling appointments to accommodate even the tightest calendars! I hear often the phrase “treat all as they were family”, these guys get it!!

Experiencia negativa: Unable to reach staff almost impossible to make an appointment unless you drive down in person as the phones go to voicemail and responses are provided after 2 to 3 weeks from when your message has been sent.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best physician experiences I have ever had. The doctors in the practice are engaged, listen, and provide excellent care. The front office staff are courteous and polite. When I had an issue with insurance, their staff worked tirelessly on my behalf to get it resolved. I would highly recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very surprised at a few of the poor reviews I have read, I have been seen by soecialists with not the best results, and the one provider Peter Kalogernisis is the only one who truly listened and heard what was going on. After seeing me through 2 hip replacements, a shoulder replacement, a back surgery, with latter being more complicated, the ONE provider who saw me through all the difficult times was Peter. I trust this provider, and this facility with my life.

Abbessinjad has always been professional and true to their love of medicine. They make you feel comfortable and go out their way to give and get you the best care in town. I don’t know where I would be without them. The entire staff is awesome!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Today, has been the worst. The curly-haired receptionist has to be the rudest person at a doctor's office I have ever been too! On several occasions when my 2nd referral from the VA, went through, 2.the first and second time that I had to do my FMLA, and now in 2019, my revised VA referral given them 100% of my pain management this was crucial it's never a one-time deal I call, I show up, I drop off documentation, there's a fax line there's always some issue why they haven't received paperwork and the lady at the front desk is the first to make some types of reason why they haven't received it. And now we come to today, scheduled to come in for my epidural shots in the lower l3 l4. Ask the receptionist why I wasn't seeing Dr Harris. Was told to bring my medication bottles, and that my medication would be filled today. Ask the receptionist if she had an emergency number. Recep, told me that there was no way to communicate with my doctor because she had left, I explained to the receptionist that I was out of my medication as of yesterday, my doctor and myself had made plans to renew my medication starting at the clinic as of my last appointment 14 days ago. I told the receptionist that was the plan she keeps looking at her computer and telling me that it's not an emergency to contact my doctor because her idea of emergency is cardiac arrest and would not call. she refused to tell me if the other PA would be available after 2pm, because she didn't know when she left for lunch very understading. And the receptionist, taking the decision that nothing could be done and Dr. On staff would not even give me a temporary till I got to see Dr. Harris. These situations are not uncommon and there's always a way to take care of the patient. PLEASE KEEP READING JUST BECAUSE OF THE RECEPTIONIST THAT SHOULD NEVER BE INVOLVED WITH PATIENTS DOES NOT MAKE THIS CLINIC A BAD PLACE. a have always been given the upmost respect, compassion and treatment from Dr. Sanita she always answers the questions I've ever had. Dr. Harris has changed my life in the last 4 years from not being able to walk the varying pains that I have in my back, legs, & feet after being bedridden prior to both my surgeries on my lower back. And both of them with their treatment relieve a lot of the pressure of the severe depression, PTSD and help with stress and anxiety.
Experiencia positiva: I suffer a lot of facial, neck, arm pain. Nothing has ever help.....until I came here. The staff does not seem friendly but the doctor really knows her job and she is friendly and helpful. We have figured out what works and what does not. She helps me figure out natural remedies. I thank God for the opportunity to work with someone who does not push drugs on me. They are there if I need them.

Experiencia negativa: I was seen at this clinic in Apr for a serious chronic pain disorder. Initially the visit was ok, I saw a PA and he quickly and efficiently diagnosed me, got me the diagnostic tests to confirm it. He also subscribed me medications that helped with the pain. I also received samples of Lyrica which ended up taking away the pain. The trouble started after that. Once the samples ran out I saw the PA again and asked for a prescription which he wrote. I tried to fill this med and could not because TRICARE required a medical necessity form. I called to speak to the PA and had to go through the phone tree and could not speak to him directly. I had to leave a message with his medical assistant. Which I did many times. Two weeks later I'm out of the med and at the last minute I'm calling to plead my case to the front desk personnel. I was told to come in and they would give me samples. So I did. Fast forward two weeks and the medical assistants have still not completed the medical necessity form. I have no idea if they relayed the message to my PA. I call the manager of the practice and relay my frustrations. She said she would call me back in a couple hours. By the end of the following day I still had not received a call back from the practice manager. I left a message for her to relay my frustrations and disappointment with my experience. I have no idea if my PA even knew about my troubles and never heard back from anyone.
Experiencia negativa: The red curly haired receptionist is extremely unprofessional and very rude. First time i came here i had issues and thought oh maybe she's just having a bad day. Nope she was rude to me the second time i came in just to sign a paper for my medical records. Not just that but I got a call to cancel my apt on my way to the apt which i think is again unprofessional and the receptionist I was on the phone with at that time was also very rude.
Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to cape fear physical medicine and rehabilitation for around 7 years. When i first hobbled into their office i could not hardly walk and was in tremendous amount of pain. I was just before breaking out the walker and wheelchair. I keep all of my appointments and get the necessary injections. I follow the doctors orders and advice. And today i still walk thanks to them. After 7 yrs i still walk. I may never be painfree but at almost 60 yrs old you are never pain free. I owe leaving my walker and wheelchair in the closet where they belong thanks to the doctors and staff. P.S. if you are only looking for pain meds don't waste your time. They dont push pills. They get to the root of your problems and deal with it accordingly. Thank you Cape Fear Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation center for keeping me on my own 2 legs. You all are the best!

Experiencia negativa: Completely concur with review by "Jazmanian devil". They're STILL that bad. Go ANYWHERE else but here. If you just stay home and not go at all you'll be just as well off and not stressed or aggravated by their shoddy and indifferent treatment .

Experiencia negativa: Do not recommend at all! Front desk is very rude when you call. All they do is transfer you to voicemails without even trying to listen to your issue then spit policy at you saying they have 24-72 hour to give you a call back. If you get lucky and they do call back make sure you are available because they will leave you a quick message saying they called but then the cycle starts back over when you call back. Dont seem to care at all about patients but love to call about making payments and copays. Took them over 3 weeks to send medical records and files to other doctors that was incorrect and had to be resent. They catch attitudes when you call to follow up and just spit policy at you again saying they have up to 72 hours to help with your issue before you need to call back. Dont waste your time or your co-pay with these people! Pure NIGHTMARE!!!!!
Experiencia negativa: These previous reviews are SO TRUE! My 78 yr old retired Army Spec. Fcs. Vietnam VET husband, 20 yrs. serving his Country. Was referred last yr. by his Orthopedic Dr. I helped him with new pt. paper work, med. list, dx., etc. Had chronic pain for past sev. yrs, r/t past back/neck/hip/knee surgeries & 20 yrs. Army, all related. Seen Dr. Richards, started injects last Spring 2016, 1 ea. month, for sev. months, was in waiting area ea. time, observed front desk staff un professional, rude behavior with pts! My husband seen the PA, Peter K He spoke with my husband & myself, sev. months later in 2016, rude staff behavior continued, I over looked it,@ that time, my husband was started on RX. pain meds, muscle relaxant. My husband continued ea. month there, me just dropping him @ front door, this yr., they started calling & re scheduling appt. @ the last min., being rude, I went to his June 2017 appt. Staff was so rude to me, would not let me be present when seeing Dr., when in fact, he was only getting refill Rx., not seeing Anyone!, They confused him previously, I needed to update his med. list, diagnosis @ that visit. I was told they didn't do that, I asked to speak to Office Manager, Loretta. She stated to me, I could not be with my husband, even tho I had in the past! They do not update any Med. list, or new diagnosis! I asked Loretta 'when did policy change'? She started her rudeness! She refused to answer me! Started to raise her voice, I stated to her, I was a retired nurse of 23 yrs. service, had been observing all this past mess, now me? All prof. facilities update info., do not violate HIPPA, etc, I gave her #'s, Dr.'s office #'s, their fax #'s to get my husbands new meds., diagnosis, & my husband signed release forms @ initial visit, she refused to look @ his chart, stating to me, ' I needed a Med. POA & med. records, before being present with him seeing anyone now, even tho I had been present with him in the past! His new dx. of Dementia, progessive Parkinson's, A-fib with pacemaker/blood thinner med., She was actually loud to me, pts in waiting area hearing all this! He was only there for Rx refill, he told me he was seeing the DR! Dementia-confused? YES! next visit, I presented Medical Power of Attorney, she rudely told me they haven't received any med. records, so I NEEDED TO GET THEM, & this was after the med. assistant said they had received some. REALLY? Then the PA came in, was 'short' with him, K.K.,PA-C. I had to explain his somewhat confusion, she proceded to get rude & short with me! Omg, what prof's, behave like this??? He got his RX's, 1 was to be faxed, written incorrectly per ExpressScripts, but it was given to him instead! Caught them in a lie, to my husband! ME, being retired nurse- read the RX! Omg! They continued to be dishonest , speaking to my husband(on speaker phone) for next 3 days, he asked to get appt. to see the Dr.! He was refused, received a letter in the mail by K.K., PA-C, stated he was Discharged! MED. BOARD needs to review
Experiencia negativa: I HAVE NOT EVEN GOTTEN IN TO SEE A DOCTOR YET! 2 months later and I am still trying to get "approved" by one of the providers to be a patient there. After reading these reviews I am not so sure I want to continue trying to go there .They said they are waiting on records from another place for review. I know of 2 people that are patients at this facility and they swear by it. But honestly now I am not so sure. Also, I don't think this will help at all but damn it I have been & am suffering!
Experiencia negativa: Do NOT go here. The office staff, minus like one girl, are rude! They are unorganized, dishonest and do not want to help you. Don't bother leaving a message on any voicemail because they won't call you back. Basically you're an inconvenience to them. That pretty much sums it up.
