Experiencia negativa: I bet this is a good clinic but they need to do something as far as having to schedule out. I waited a month and a half for an appointment and because the lady who set the appt didn’t tell me I needed to go to Ramsey st. I showed up at the wrong location. I tried calling to see if there was any room to still be seen if I could FLY over there but there was nothing at all they could do. Unless I took an appt at Pinehurst and I appreciate the effort but the issue is I can’t drive that far with my foot. The only remedy was to wait another month for an appointment. I ended up going to the ER because I just cannot take another month of waiting.

Experiencia negativa: First I'd like to say the staff are very pleasant & courteous & I was happy with the treatment I received initially from Kylie Mason .However I fractured my knee on Aug 30 2024.I was seen by this office on Sept 9th it was soonest opening they had .I was pleased & satisfied from that visit .I was scheduled for 2 weeks later with Kylie & I'm still waiting for that visit today is Oct 8 , the soonest I was rescheduled from that was the 16th . .It has been scheduled every week but also has been cancelled every week .So here I am 5 weeks now from that first appt with no follow up .I am very dissatisfied with the way this has been handled .I don't understand how a medical practice office allows patients appts to be cancelled so many times in a row. And they canceled me for the one I had scheduled for next week today .I understand PA & Drs have personal lives & sometimes things come up but there is something going on there

The doctors PAs, and everyone who work here I cannot even say enough how they continue to help me along my journey. I had a total knee replacement done by Dr. Flanagan. I am very pleased. with the results. My knee felt better two weeks after having surgery. He came highly recommended to me, and I will highly recommend him to anyone else. This is the best thing I have ever done looking forward to a more active life.

Casey was very motivational and enthusiastic, knowledgeable as a therapist in the recovery process. Kyle spirit was awesome it seems he is laid back but don't let that fool you he will work you out on every part of the therapy. Ok Rachel I enjoyed also she say ok Ms. Cotton let's do a procedure when I did not want to and say you got to work the surgical leg. Lauren taught me you got to press on and the result will pay off the more exercise you do on the surgical let. I really enjoyed all of them they treated with a warm welcome from day 1 until the end. The physical therapist receptionists was awesome as well they scheduled my appointments out to fit my needs and that is a plus. The overall upstairs physical department made you feel like home. Experiencia fantástica: My experiences with Cape fear orthopedic sports medicine has been nothing but superb. I met Dr Bouchard a couple years ago when I saw him again when I decided to go through Medicare to get my treatment he said to me you have not gotten this surgery done yet. I said no the VA is making me wait so we proceeded with the interview we set up the date for my surgery not two days later after my meeting with him the VA called me and said we will pick up all charges. I know that this man made a phone call to someone to expedite my VA claim. And this is just the type of attention that I've been getting from this facility from day one. Long story short I've had the surgery because I didn't have take care provider I was taking to I hate to even mention the damn name Carolina rehab for a 21 day stay. That place was like going to hell the nursing staffs were not adequate my call Bell for nurse attention was an actual Bell you heard me a damn dinner bill I'm room 302 so I know there's 302 dinner bells in this facility. This place tried to administer me medication that I was not prescribed when brought to the doctor's attention the doctor informed me to be quiet. Have he tells me this I tell him I'm going to check myself out of facility come tomorrow morning and he tells me I don't care what you do. At this point I lost complete confidence in Carolina rehab. That Monday after walking out I got a call from Cape fear orthopedic sports medicine to inform me that the VA has set up my rehab sessions with them and it was like music to my ears. I have nothing but high praise for I recommend their services to anyone that already have. I want to say thank you to the complete staff for your diligent and unwavering commitment to my surgery and my rehabilitation. It's wonderful to see that there are people who conduct themselves with care and professionalism.

Everybody else I encountered, the nurses, the x-ray tech, clerical staff and the PA that I saw were very professional and friendly. Mr. Joeckel throughly explained my injury to me and provided options for treatment. I was confident about the treatment he recommended. I have been to Cape Fear orthopedics for a previous injury and will always choose them.

I just came in for my two week check up after a full knee replacement and she was the one who removed my staples and checked out how well things were healing. I had a lot of questions and she was able to answer them all.I was Very pleased with my visit with her

Explaining every step of the procedure and administering the medication with minimal pain( injection into elbow area). I would definitely request Kylie again for treatment. I was suppose to have a 6 month follow up ( never got the call) I tried to make an appointment to see why my fingers are still numb and was told I owed money so they wouldn't schedule me. No balance owed! I would choose another facility if I had to do it all over!

Experiencia fantástica: This review is fully a year overdue.. Many apologies for my tardiness.. The team at the Ramsey St. location was exceptional. I destroyed my shoulder and required a rotator cuff surgical repair. Dr. Lowe put me back together, strong and sure. My physical therapist Jennifer was as cheery as could be, encouraging me as she does for all of us middle age shoulder wreakers.. Apparently, we keep the therapists and Mr. Lowe very busy. As I approach my 2 year post repair mark, I thought it proper to say a sincere thank you to all who work there. As a patient of Dr. Lowe, I could not recommend anyone else. If you need your shoulder fixed, he is your guy, and afterward, you need to ask for Ms. Jennifer for your therapist. They got me back to work strong as ever. Thank you! thank you ! Experiencia negativa: I came in for an overdue follow-up appointment, that I had to schedule, on 6/3/24 . The follow-up was for my hips condition and they discussed my back. Okay, they said they will look at the hips on my next appointment. Grant an MRI was requested so I am waiting for that. I left the follow-up appointment that I paid $70 for, the same way I came in. I requested a refill for pain medication and as of 6/6/24 nothing. My records on the portal state that I am an occasional smoke, and I do not smoke, that I am a caffeine tea drinker and I am not. Little mistakes like this affect my medical records, insurance policies and many other things. Fast forward, I took an MRI in June and still have not heard back or received an appointment for a follow-up and we are at the end of August. I relocated from New York and I miss the care, my PC, specialist and the results and health outcomes.

Doesn’t push to make a decision just lets you know what’s going on and will go any direction you lead him. I was supposed to have my sutures removed but she was concerned with one of the sutures being particularly deep and asked if I could come back in a few days to make sure that it was completely healed. I understand the staff may be overwhelmed with patients but that doesn't excuse the poor follow up. It is difficult for me to accept that 10 days is not enough time to reach out to a patient seeking care. I will look for another office for assistance. I am so disappointed with this facility.
