From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Jerome Adams gave me a thorough evaluation, truly listening to my concerns and pain points. His personalized approach made me feel confident that I was in the right hands. Throughout my sessions, I worked closely with different PTA on each visit. Austin, a Physical Therapy Assistant who was exceptional, pays close attention to detail, explaining techniques and making adjustments when needed to ensure my progress as I have watched him do with other patients. The entire team made sure I understood how to continue improving at home with the exercises they provided. After six weeks of consistent care, I not only felt stronger but also empowered with the tools to maintain my progress on my own. To succeed you have to put the work in! If you're looking for a top-notch physical therapy clinic that truly cares about helping you live a pain-free, active lifestyle, Horizon Physical Therapy is the place to go. I highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Adams and his staff are experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. I found this office while googling for PT that can help with TMJ, not the easiest to find. I read a review from someone that was very happy with their results for help with their TMJ pain. After the first visit I immediately knew that Dr. Adams would be able to help. He uses multiple tools like exercise, manipulation, and strengthening work to help correct the problems contributing to pain, but also teaches you the tools to continue to work on those problems on your own. I was able to use those exercises many times to break a pain cycle before it was too late to stop, that is something I could not do before physical therapy. This was the first time physical therapy actually helped me with my chronic pain and migraines that I have had for 18 years. I am very grateful for this office and for the way Dr. Adams never settles and always strives for perfection.

Experiencia fantástica: After two knee surgeries my orthopedic surgeon sent me for physical therapy (against my wishes) because I continued to experience knee pain and discomfort. I arrived at horizon with a negative attitude and a feeling of frustration. Upon meeting Dr. Patrice, i explained to her that therapy is pointless and I need another surgery. After she poked around examining my knee and thigh, she calmly said “I think we can help you”. After only a few weeks of therapy, i was back to running again for the first time in two years. I am very thankful to the staff at horizon.

Experiencia fantástica: I walked in to Horizons Physical Therapy broken and in tears. I didn't believe in anything but Jesus I was angry at myself. But the staff taught me how to believe in myself again and to trust the process.When I tell you the more I went the stronger I became they taught me to rebuild those broken pieces and hold your head up high it's going to be alright . The most important part was I wasn't alone with this pain anymore . It took some serious exercise but they prepared me for a full right Hip Replacement . It wasn't easy but it was very much needed. I've been a patient there for two and a half years off and on . The staff never gave up on me even when I wanted to give up on myself . But God said if you take one step I'll take one also . I trusted the process and on February 9th at 5am I went to Hurley Hospital with my faith and my God meet me right there and he showed up and showed out on my behalf. I walked in the hospital broken and Glory to God I walked out exactly 10hrs later completely whole again my God my God was sitting in the surgical room waiting for little old me to be rolled in there. A two hour procedure to my God and surgeon four hours . But when they woke me up I was completely healed by God stripes I was made whole again. I went to the hospital with my head down. But Glory to God I walked out of there with my head held up high walking pain free and tall and strong . Thanks to Horizons Physical Therapist staff . Three days after my surgery . I was scheduled to return to Horizons Physical Therapy and I walked in with the biggest smile on my face with a four legged walker. And once I got there my God allowed me to leave my walker at the coat rack and I walked with no hesitation in my steps and I went and put in work on those exercise machines like I hadn't just had surgery three days before. My God is an awesome God. But it was a long time coming. I finally graduated out at Horizons Physical Therapy on June 12th 2023 . By God's Grace I was made whole again and I will forever be Horizons Physical Therapy biggest supporter and fan. If there's anything I can ever do for them all they have to do is just ask. I love each and every one of staff members they Rock. And thanks for everything y'all taught me and keep up the Great Job y'all in that awesome brown building on Miller road and Ballenger road. Experiencia fantástica: Physical therapy can be exhausting sometimes, and when you have a condition that hurts it’s the last thing you want to do. Dr. Adams and Dr. Patrice are genuinely concerned and want to see great results for their patients while not pushing them too much to where they don’t want to return. Consistent care is the key. I have never been to a physical therapist who worked with me like Dr. Patrice. My lymphedema was affecting everyday living. MLD and compression and exercise has helped greatly. I highly recommend Horizon Physical Therapy and will be returning when I can!

Experiencia fantástica: I had some issues with me right should, it was hard for me to move it in certain directions and lift it. I was concerned it could be something serious that may require surgery but when I consulted with Dr. Adams at Horizon Physical Therapy he assured he'd be able to get my shoulder strength back without surgery and that's exactly what they did. Ashley worked with me the entire time and I enjoyed being there and talking with the friendly staff and patients. I almost wish I could keep coming as if it was a gym membership but I would definitely recommend anyone in need of physical therapy to pay Horizon a visit.

They are fun and always have a positive and motivating vibes & commentary. Their music choices are ALWAYS on point. A great place to go to for your physical therapy, they have truly helpful practices. I was able to recover from an extremely painful shoulder pain, in very little time. I am super grateful. They are COVID careful, sanitary, effective and a lot of fun to spend your time with.

Though my family physician couldn’t pinpoint the cause of my pain, Dr Adams knew exactly the type of exercise to strengthen my shoulder and minimize the pain. Dr Adams and his team my therapy enjoyable every session with friendly smiles and great conversations all the time helping me recover.

The front desk are easy going and ready to help and accommodate anything you need. The therapists Ashley and Michelle are great and laid back easy to work with and fun to talk with. I am very pleased with Michelle, my therapist, as I regained range of motion after shoulder replacement surgery. My doctor was very impressed with the progress in the amount of time in therapy. Experiencia fantástica: Workers are friendly and consistent. Exercises are not complex and are easy to continue. Office has convenient layout and kept very clear, especially in this era of viral fear. I have been here before, and time has not shown any sag. This time I did come for two different problems, neither of which I could see or feel. I'm sure that both improved, since the entire session became easier to perform. One weakness on their behalf (pun intended) was that I was not positive which particular problem some exercises corrected. Most were obvious. I personally recommend Horizon Physical Therapy as a positive resource for many physical problems, both involving and not involving pain. Your improvement will occur.

They make you feel like family and they show that they truly care about you and do all that they can to fix, correct, or make your physical condition better. They have a very neat and clean work environment with many work out and exercise machines to help you lose weight and or get in better shape. If you're looking for great knowledgeable physical therapist to help you get back on track, I'd say Horizons Physical Therapy is where you want to be.

Experiencia fantástica: When Physical therapy for my hands was recommended by my doctor, she sent me to Horizon. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the lovely receptionists behind the desk, they were warm, friendly, and attentive to my appointment needs. Dr. Adams was very concerned with my condition and devised a therapy program suited for my needs. The associate therapists (Ashley, Michelle, and Elijah) are focused, passionate, and dedicated to their profession. The facility itself is very clean and is sanitized throughout the day for the health and safety of the client. 10 out of 10 for me. Quality care in a clean and comfortable environment. Going in, I was dealing with a lot of knee pain, and I was very doubtful about if I would be able to do all of my daily activities like I used too. The exercises are very well thought out and developed. The progress I’ve seen is more than I ever thought. I’d like to thank all of the staff for making my visits fun, encouraging, and I’m just very thankful. I am very glad I thought of coming to Horizon to improve my body!
