Experiencia fantástica: Nursing staff were very attentive and had a wonderful attitude all throughout my stay, regardless of what time it was when I needed assistance. Also the housekeeper was so sweet, checking to see if I needed anything when she first saw me to when she was leaving for the day. The physicians and interns were doing a wonderful job covering all the areas of possibilities when it came to my care. I would like to Thank All personnel involved in getting me back up on my feet. All the work you do matters, I am a proud member of Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Thank you for a positive experience.

Experiencia negativa: If you have to see an out of network specialist... Good luck!!! It's a crap show with Kaiser. Complete run around to get anything done. They report all testing to be requested by the out of network provider to still be done at Kaiser. They don't schedule and do it. It's a run around for months to get it done. Then they don't send the results to the specialists, even though the permission for release for info is sent with the requests for tests. It's then another run around calling repeatedly to get them to send the results, passed from agent to agent, department to department. Promised call backs, no call backs. Hope and pray you're test situation isn't for a life threatening problem!!! This happens every single time!!! Always have to open a complaint and review with Medicare to get anything done. Also have requests for multiple types of therapies needing for disease, they won't fulfill those requests from the specialist either. Another run around. Have been trying to get that specialist request fulfilled for two years!!! Garbage!

Experiencia negativa: Two of my children were born here without issues and I am eternally grateful for that. However the emergency room and urgent care center needs some serious revamping. Hire more doctors! I’m personally in PAIN and progressively getting worse in the waiting area. Been waiting for 2 whole hours. This is a slap in the face to your members. Staff accordingly because this is ridiculous.

Experiencia negativa: I'm not one to complain often, but this past Thursday I went to gastroenterology for a procedure and I had been fasting from midnight to 1:30pm for this particular procedure. In the gastroenterology waiting room you can see what used to be a check in desk, but now it's blocked off and the top part isn't sealed I don't know if it's now a staff lunch lounge, but I find it highly rude and UNPROFESSIONAL that kaiser allows it's staff or receptionists to have a microwave in that area while patients are fasting for there appointments for gastroenterology. I could smell popcorn and had been fasting for 9 hours I found it highly irritating and also i don't mind the staff talking and stuff but they also laugh and talk very loudly like waiting room doesn't exist which is also rude. I'm more upset with the fact that kaiser thought it was a good idea to put a staff lounge in that area where patients like me are fasting. I find it highly disrespectful and to me that tells me that kaiser doesn't care . I wouldn't care much if the top part was sealed off which is not hard to do because at least i myself and other patients wouldn't have to sit there Smelling someone's popcorn cooking. There should not be a lounge or let alone a microwave near that waiting area. I highly doubt kaiser permanente is going to fix this anytime soon because they love to take there sweet time doing things happens when a company gets to big for it's britches. Other than that the doctors and nurses I give a five star. Kaiser thinking it was a great idea to have a old check in desk sealed and converted into what i am assuming is now a staff lounge where patients have to sit while fasting if I could I would give a big fat no Star. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. In no way blame the employees because let's face it they are being employees. I blame kaiser for it but guess who is gonna get the heat unfortunately the staff. I'm just gonna continue to leave updates. Anyway the ER is a complete joke as well. They sent my mother in law home with a deep cough and unfortunately she is gonna have to go back as it's just getting worse. and of course wheb waiting at home for updates that they say they will call you back and they don't and when we do call back it's a 20+ minute wait on the. My mother in law also said the staff is very unprofessional in the ER. I don't want a reply said on email me at affairs or member services and then nothing gets done. 6/20/23 Yeah try to schedule an hsg. Got told to call when my period starts. I do exactly that. Jist to find out I wasted my time because they can't even schedule it since the appointment would be to far out. And to call back next cycle to schedule. 7/14/23 Well called infertility again to schedule an HSG and was told to call back to schedule for an HSG next month! Supposedly the doctors have been on "vacation" these past couple months. I call BS on that one because they were scheduling appointments last month. How am I supposed to schedule an appointment for an HSG if Nothing is available? Of course the lady on the phone didn't even answer that question they don't even give you hope they just say oh call again next month. Seriously WTF!? 9/19/24 Husband went in to the ER as recommended by our pcp for possible bone infection in hip and foot. So he was, going to need blood work and MRI. Husband gets their and he is tired of wasting his breath. He tried telling the lady at the check in window what our pcp said that would need to be and of course she wasn't listening. They obviously don't check the charts either because it also says, on my husbands test results MRI recommend. We are tired of this ER playing God and thinking they know, it all. I mean seriously my husband is in need of surgery and we need to know if he has a, bone, infection or not. Other wise it delays everything. Kaiser needs to get their shit together.

I got here at 830am got seen st 1030am went to give blood and take an tray that shit was a breeze 10 mins tops for both but the CT scan 1 hr wait plus after that I still.waited 4 duckn hours to get my results this shit is unacceptable now i knw that other cases take priorty so ill give tham that but duck man o and incase ur wondering it's 4pm and I'm still Here waiting for my duckn results

Experiencia fantástica: I usually don't go to Fontana urgent care because of the long lines. Today I went because I didn't want to drive to Ontario. Glad I did because not only was there no line to check in it only took about 5/10 minutes to see the Dr. He confirmed what I thought I had which is a hernia. Scheduled me with the surgeon and I see them in 2 weeks. Overall very satisfied with the wait time or lack there of and the professionalism of all the staff I encountered. Kudos to Fontana Kaiser urgent care.

Experiencia negativa: The staff is great, reassuring, and doing the best they can. The problem Is Kaiser themselves this company need for profit out surpasses patient care or quality of life. The lack of resources, staff and just dropping the ball of patient care and monitoring I’m surprised there are not more serious issues that occur there. I was there for over 6 hours the doctor did all he could and referred me to the ER for continue care because they exhausted all avenues they could there. I went and while there a person came in who heart has stopped at home and was revived by CPR. They made him stand in line, then took his vitals and made him go get blood work done and sit out with everyone else. This person was clutching his chest, throwing up and no one was monitoring him. Another person they had waiting for hours and he was getting worse as time went on. He was clutching his abdomen, yelling in pain and vomiting and he had to beg a er tech to ask for help or when they would see for the person to say I’ll check and just leave to go finish what they had to do. There was no one watching or monitoring him. Poor person could have their apendix ruptured and no one would know. Not to mention the other person who dad brought him because he was in a car accident. He was all beat up, bleeding from cuts on his face and he was told get in line, wait and the have a seat over there. I’m mean once someone sees you they are great it’s getting to someone to see you, where it seems like I you have a better chance at the lotto than to see a medical professional. I mean the er reminded me of the waiting room from the movie Betelgeuse when they were waiting for someone to talk about the after life. I am very disappointed with the lack of care, and service that Kaiser has allowed to decline using the lame excuse that it is because of COVID they don’t have resources. If you can try another location or a different insurance company. By the way this is the second time I have gone to the ER and don’t get seen.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently moved to Pinon Hills and needed emergency services. I had a very terrible experience with Kaiser in Victorville. But I searched and found Kaiser in Fontana. OMG!! What a big difference is patient care, customer service, the whole thing. From the time I arrived until the time I left the whole Fontana Kaiser took such great care of me. Experiencia positiva: I went to the urgent care this week on Tuesday 8/6/2024 To get seen cause I was having Covid symptoms and spotting during pregnancy I’m currently 19 weeks pregnant . & I asked if I can get Monday approved to complete the 4 days to get approved from Sedgwick from my job and they denied me and said no . My job is on the line due to not feeling great through out my pregnancy I was told to contact the nurses to speak to my Dr but no help at all either and they want me to make a appointment to get seen and I try and no close appointments available how can I get excused from work when I don’t feel good during my pregnancy when I can’t even get a appointment and the urgent don’t help . Who helped me was the ER the dr was very understandable and took me off for the rest of the week even when I went in on a Wednesday. I asked my OB to get taken out completely from work cause I had a miscarriage before and I’m scared it will happen again especially since I work in a hot warehouse and do a lot of walking and bending and standing for 10 hours daily and I was told no. At this point i might change insurance and go back to the first dr office I was getting seen at first they were so nice and super helpful I moved to Kaiser because my insurance just kicked in from my job and I regret it now!!

We rushed her to urgent care and arrived at 8:48 pm thinking we made it because they close at 9:00 pm. Upon arrival we first met with the attending nurse. We asked to be checked in but the attending nurse said she cannot because urgent care closes at 9:00 pm and there are still others waiting to be seen. My wife said there’s still 12 minutes why can’t we check in and just wait until seen. Then she said she needed to check with her manager. Anna the receptionist manager stated immediately they’re not accepting patients anymore because doctors will just send us to emergency because they have to go home. This is why emergency rooms are packed with “non-emergency “ patients because urgent care are not taking patients until such time that they have to because they have to go home. My wife tried to convince her to accept our daughter but she adamantly refused and was very rude. She told my wife “let me have your name and kaiser#, also your daughter’s. Then my wife said why will you finally check her in?but Anna the manager said “no I will report you to membership services”. She was the one who doesn’t want to do an extra mile for helping Kaiser members, but then she is the one who has the guts to report to membership. Anyway, we tried going to emergency since we are already in Fontana Kaiser but emergency is packed and 6-8 hrs waiting. So we just turned around and go home and this little girl suffering from ear discomfort will wait til tomorrow to be seen. VERY VERY VERY POOR SERVICE! Kaiser pays good salary and benefits & it is not fair of you don’t do your job!

Experiencia negativa: This is such a bad horrible hospital the wait in the ER is way to long my dad was recently there and nurses and Doctors were not very helpful one nurse came in and just threw the urine collector and told him we need a sample he was in excruciating pain could not even get up or move from the bed he was very weak and they did not help him my 70 year old mom and son were the ones who helped him up as he almost fell and none of the dam staff cared. Been there for other reasons never again this is the worse hospital in the area

Experiencia negativa: Just an awful place, long waits packed ERs . They have taken on a very mechanical approach to providing health care. Got to the hospital about 3pm with severe abdominal pain. Nurse stopped me and asked what my issue was. She barely spoke English! How is that possible! When I told her she said “oh that gona be over 4 hour”you go to ER. Sent me walking through the campus looking for the ER. Finally a security guard helped me find it. When I got there I was parked and had an estimated time of 7 to 8 hours. That’s the short version of how awful this place is I could died out there 105 temp with a bad gallbladder. Been a member since I was born 54 years ago. Me my family are out, I think I can do better with blue shield .

Experiencia fantástica: My recent surgery with Dr. Fakhrai and her surgical team was beyond my expectations. I went in a bit nervous and was met with such care and cheerful dispositions from the staff (especially Curtis) that I immediately felt so comfortable. Everyone that assisted me was kind and communicative. It seemed the staff enjoyed working with each other and made a big difference in my experience. Experiencia negativa: I was not feeling good I have something stuck in my throat that sometimes I feel like I can’t breathe for weeks so I decided to go to ER waited 5 hours for what to see a very rude doctor that didn’t even do anything just a scan. I ask him if he can please order a endoscopy and he said no you need to go to your primary for that. I told him but I am feeling good and he said no one that comes to the ER feels good and than I ask can I please get a another doctor and he said well than register again and wait outside.

Experiencia negativa: You call the nurse hotline and they tell you to go into labor and delivery for possible preeclampsia,cramping,and a certain color discharge. All because I’m only 22 weeks pregnant they put me last. When I mean last I mean females that walk in were put straight in the back like if I’m less of importance to them. Apparently me and my child didn’t matter cuz I waited 3 1/2 hours just to not be seen at all not even once so I left Kaiser labor and delivery with so many tears in my eyes and feeling unimportant. And this is where I have to deliver. Breaks my heart completely. Imma just go get seen elsewhere.

Maureen his nurse the RN nurse third floor, was basically shoving all of the pills down my dad’s throat, she was on auto pilot. Experiencia negativa: I understand it's the day after a holiday. We brought my friend in to the emergency room, as directed by the nurse. It's been over 5 hours already, and she still hasn't seen a doctor. She is diabetic, she needed to eat. We brought her something to eat. The security guard told her she could not eat in the waiting room, that she needed to go eat in the cafeteria. I understand there's regulations, but this is her health at risk. Yet the security guard was sitting at her post enjoying her root beer float! Shouldn't she take that to the cafeteria?

Experiencia positiva: This Kaiser Permanente optical center took five and half weeks to get my new glasses. One tips is never ask to ship your new glasses to you directly. Without adjustment, it is very likely the new frame would not fit your face perfectly and the optical center is not right. You should go to them and pick up the glasses and ask them to adjust the frame for you to make sure your new glasses works for you.

Experiencia negativa: Brought my son into "Urgent" Care at 11 AM to be seen for cough, sinus pressure, body aches, and fever. Got checked in fairly quickly. Went to the waiting area and they called him in for vitals within 15 - 20 minutes. He came back to the waiting area around 11:50 AM. The nurse told him he had an "appointment" at 4:00 PM. I was talking to my son about the long wait and asked if we should leave and come back at the appointment time. Someone overhead us and said "you can't leave, you gave to wait for your appointment. I went back to where we checked in to inquire why there was such a long wait time. Didn't really get a satisfactory answer. The person we talked to said they only had a few practitioners and several patients. With all the staff Kaiser has, why can't they level out the practitioner to patient ratio? They should change the name from "Urgent Care" to "We Don't Really Care" Very disappointed.
Edward, I know it can be difficult to wait for care, especially when your child isn't feeling well. Please know we have many options for care, in addition to our urgent cares, including telephone appointments, video visits, and 24-7 nurse advice line. I have personally used the 24-7 phone line when my child has been sick. Sometimes, there are options for "same day" appointments if you call early in the morning. Experiencia negativa: The Fontana hospital provides the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life especially with the security. The many times I have had to go and bring family here, security has been horrible, making the stressful situations more stressful. They should be ashamed of themselves and unfortunately with all the negative reviews I have seen, nothing seems to change their service quality at this particular location. Kaiser over all is good, but Fontana is terrible especially security. They make you feel like you are the problem when you are trying to get help. Two thumbs down.

Experiencia negativa: First off, my son and I arrived at 2:45am and didn’t get a bed until 6:45am. I understand it’s by severity, but a 4 month old with a 101.7 fever is pretty severe to me. At 8am they started doing panels. We went in for respiratory needs. Long story short I left at 3:45pm. They made a HUGE deal because my son had “COVID” and he tested negative for everything else. They tried to say they don’t know protocols, they have to potentially keep him. (His oxygen was perfect at 99.) Fast forward to the next morning, he DOESNT have Covid. Very upset with this health care system.

Experiencia negativa: I showed up for an appointment at medical office 7 today, drove around for 20 minutes looking for parking, and could not find a legal place to park my vehicle. There were plenty of open spots in the staff lots (probably half the spaces) but patients are physically blocked from using them. I had to leave my car in a No Parking zone and run in to tell the receptionist that I couldn't find parking and I wouldn't be able to make my appointment. Her response - "You have to call the appointment line to cancel." Thank you. So helpful. Here I am telling you in person that I cannot check in to the appointment you're being paid to check me in for, doesn't that trump calling the 1-800 number so they can then call you and tell you I'm not coming? Guess not, so I called the appointment line to explain that I had no options for parking my vehicle legally on their premises to attend my appointment and was told I could "come back and park at Wendy's across the street. They have signs saying No Patient Parking, but those are only close to their building. If you park at the far end of their lot you're okay." No ma'am, I am not risking getting my car towed parking at a business that specifically says not to do that just because your facility can't provide parking for the number of patients it tries to schedule. Thanks anyway! Thumbs DOWN.

If that lot is full there are other lots near there, which include Parking Lot 3 which offers member parking from levels 1-5. Even during peak parking times, there is generally always parking available at the rooftop of that parking structure. Experiencia negativa: My 2 urgent visits here have been less then subpar. The Emergency Room Department was so unclean and dirty, from the seating area which doesn’t have enough seats to accommodate patients which is another issue because imagine being in pain and having to stand up in dirt. Also the bathroom was ridiculously filthy, I couldn’t even focus on getting the care I needed in those conditions. My most recent visit yesterday to urgent care the NP and Nurse they assigned me to were rude and unprofessional. I’ll never come back to this facility again.

Experiencia negativa: Estoy tan decepcionada de emergencias vengo de la ciudad de Victorville a emergencia dure cuatro horas y no me pudieron pasar y lo más triste es que casi no avía gente después de esas cuatro horas me volvieron hablar para tomarme los signos y le pregunto ala enfermera que cuanto más me van a tardar y me dice que entre otras 3 a 4 horas más que la espera era de 7 a 8 horas de espera omg la verdad que triste que tarden tanto con tan poca gente … de aver sabido me ubiera ido al hospital san Mary en Apple valley ai la espera no es más de 2 horas me arrepiento de no aver ido ai según yo baje por que es el mero hospital de káiser y que gran decepción ….

Experiencia fantástica: I have been in several hospitals in my lifetime but I have never been in such a clean hospital as kaisers permanente The staff there the doctors there at the nurses there are wonderful people they treat you with respect dignity and they take the time to listen to you they see to your needs and they treat you with devotion, Kaiser Permanente is very selective with their staff and that's why I have nothing but good things to say about Kaiser and I would recommend them to anyone if you want a caring team of doctors and nurses that care about you then Kaiser's is a hospital for you sincerely Robert Jacobs.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible service, leaving after 18 years. I am in pain, live with it don't work. Bad parking, some ppl are nice, I fear kaiser, anxiety, no help after so much specialist, not their fault, ceo, is problem. Sad, on death bed, and last word from dr, cant help you. Great for everything in 1 place, but that is it. I loved kaiser, but to suffer is not care.last dr said in 2 years of suffering, nothing we can do. Er is the worste, and my seizure medication is an opioid now. Got letter saying take less of my meds, wow. Seizures came back, but no help. Why complain, been there, it's a waste of time. Kaiser needs alot of improvement. Care team, a joke, I care about my health, that's why I'm leaving until they stop taking patients. Too many patients on a dr, you get less care. I waited for years to go here, good for awhile, but they give up on you. Go see a shrink, he was saying why are you here. I have no clue. Kaiser get it together, stop taking patients drs can't handle, not enough drs, they treat their patients like they are hurding cattle. Be safe. Amen

Sorry, go to the ER or urgent care only to be told to make an appointment with your primary care physician who only has appointments 2-3months away. Your kids needs a physical for a sporting event or for school in the next few weeks? Sorry wait 2-3 months for an appointment. The access to any form of treatment at Kaiser is atrocious.

Experiencia negativa: Went in for a second opinion in the rheumatology department at the Fontana medical center with Dr.Lee and was the worst experience ever at Kaiser. Came in over 30 minutes late was out of the office with in 5 minutes. He did not let me express what’s been going on with me no acknowledgment of labs/ chart. Said he trained the prior dr no assessment just straight to a drug that hasn’t been out longer than I’ve had lupus was just trying to see if there’s any other routes / medication before going into a self injection drug . Left the office in tears and in pain can barely walk and left with a there’s the door type of feeling.

Experiencia negativa: Be careful if brought in by ambulance. One of the check in ER lady’s in the back door where they bring you in is so rude I wish I got her name. She has long hair I was brought in I had a bad anxiety attack while driving. My legs were numb I couldn’t breath my stomach was hurting and really nauseous she completely ignored me giving attitude. I needed a moment to calm down cuz I felt like I couldn’t breath she started asking me so many questions and said “ you know what never mind im going to wait until you stop and went back to her desk talking the the ambulance workers, laughing. I couldn’t walk. Once I calmed down a bit i was able to go walk to restroom this lady walks by me and says “ oh look who can finally walk now”. I don’t understand if you have no patience why work health care? The nurse was good

Experiencia fantástica: My wife has osthomy beg last 4 years. Operation was done in emergency room by someone. I do not know his name. But than it was fix by Dr Van in Kaiser Permanente. Every six months he check my wife and till you to wait for reversal of osthomy beg. When he said that we will do operation for reversal at that time I go through blood test colonoscopy I understand that he is waiting for correct time. I can say he is really smart Dr. My wife is 66 years operation and lots of complications in operation but he had successfully completed operation by taking 8 hours in operation room. Not only that after operation he had explained everything to my family. Every two hours he give me massage to my mobile about operation. After discharge from hospital next day he call me personally asking about my wife. I say this great. I never see this type of Surgeon in my 70 years life. Here I say my English is not good but my information is 100 percent correct .

Experiencia negativa: Como anteriormente se dijo ojalá hubiera cero estrellas..hace una semana acompañe a mi hija a emergencias llegamos ahí desde las 5 le sacaron sangre para estudios dijerone n 15 minutos viene un doctor antes de las 6 mi hija ya tenía los resultados pregunte por un doctor después de las 7 imedia me dijeron q no había doctor q estaban buscando uno y q no sabían a q horas estaria ,no entiendo como en una sala de emergencias no tengan un doctor asignado puse mi queja,a los pocos días tubo q hacer mi hija cita nuevamente porque no la atendieron como debían y solo hera una infección en la garganta que se le complico porque no se lo resolvieron el día q fue a emeegencias,mi pregunta es que clase de personal tienen que no es confiable y de esas muchas más a mi me estuvieron atendiendo por más de dos años con gastritis y al final me fui a emergencias y resultó q mi gastritis hera una piedra y no ahan sido las únicas malas experiencias q e tenido en ese hospital deberían ver si su personal está verdaderamente capacitado

Experiencia negativa: Kaiser is very reluctant to act even when they know what the problem is. Most of their solutions take place on a computer keyboard, when do the Doctors get to be Doctors and actually treat their patients. The Fontana Medical Center treat their patients like cattle especially the specialists, what ever happened to common courtesy? They have many departments in one location which is convenient, but, it's very easy to pass the buck and in some cases it's a diversion, which is to their convenience at the expense of our health.

Experiencia fantástica: Fell on ice while on a ski trip and broke my hip. Had surgery at KP Fontana and if you can believe it, the experience was wonderful. Each and every nurse, doctor, food service staff member and custodian was warm and professional. I can’t say enough positive about the care I received. Outstanding! And I am so much better.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible parking, extremely rude security and completely checked out staff. I came just to drop off a sleep apnea device for my wife. I contacted security twice and they were absolutely incompetent. When I finally did find a parking spot and spoke with staff one looked like she could barely keep her eyes open and the other really didn't care. Awful facility. Kaiser Ontario or Baldwin Park are leaps and bounds better.

Experiencia negativa: By far the worst experience on multiple occasions. I would rather drive to the Riverside location. Staff here don't seem to be on the same page in the ER of all places. Might be ok for normal appointments, definitely not for urgent care and especially not for an emergency.
