From the moment I stepped into the reception area, I was greeted warmly by the front desk personnel. The facility itself was impeccably clean, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit. The medical staff, including nurses and doctors, are highly skilled and incredibly compassionate. I also noticed that they were very attentive to the specific needs of each individual, which is so important in a care facility. Overall, the Community Care and Rehabilitation Center is a standout facility in its field. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in need of comprehensive care and rehabilitation services.

Knowing that my father is in such capable and caring hands has allowed me to rest my mind and focus on other responsibilities. Experiencia negativa: The discharge instructions I was given for my mom were entirely wrong. When I called to make sure she was ok, as she is recovering from severe sepsis, and her instructions said she needed more antibiotics but she was sent home with none, I was flat out disregarded and told “I don’t know your mom, I’m trying to give you information but idk her and also you are taking my time away from other patients with all these questions.” WHAT. I was told that the inhaled steroid she takes is a nasal spray. The instructions on her rescue inhaler were incorrect, they were the instructions that should have been on her inhaled steroid. When questioned about this I was told “No I didn’t know that is incorrect.” You are a NURSE. When I questioned why her meds had different instructions than is prescribed I was told well they don’t have to match. And “this is standard here.” They literally legally do have to match, I have been in the hospital a million times, and have been through nursing school, those instructions have to match. When I walked out of the building it smelled like a dozen people needed a diaper change. More than my concern at how rude the nurses were at being asked basic medical questions, and then being pissy with me when they were unable to answer them, was my concern at how profoundly lacking in basic medical knowledge these people are. How do you not know the difference between an inhaled steroid and a nasal spray?? I am not a doctor nor a nurse, but I am educated enough that I know these things and should not catch hell for bringing them to the attention of the nurses who should KNOW THESE THINGS. For the record I ran this by a pulmonologist today and they were stunned. They wanted my mom in a rescue inhaler scheduled four times a day. She does NOT require that, and if you’re using a rescue inhaler that often your condition is poorly controlled. Which is why she is on a scheduled inhaled steroid, you do not schedule asthma attacks WHAT. My mother was miserable here, she said the staff was super rude to her and made her ask for diapers which she was embarrassed about, but told me please don’t say anything to anyone because she feared retaliation. She was literally left to sit in her own urine. I have her home now, but the woman she was when she was sent here and the woman she is now are two completely different people. She was fighting like hell to get herself moving and well before this, now I cannot get her to get out of bed or to drink enough or eat enough. I am literally at a loss as to what to do now, and all she says now is “I just need to rest.” I need a zero stars button. I was asked to contact the owner on yelp but of course given no way to do that, so I really hope someone contact’s me before I get in contact with a lawyer, because this place should be shut down. Abhorrent. My mom needs help, to be sent here to get her strength up and then get her back barely able to sit up is ABHORRENT, I ask you sincerely, please do not send anyone you love here. I was asked before I left to give a glowing review btw (WHAT). Here’s your honest review. It is going to take me weeks to get her back to baseline.

The nurses have taken very good care of my many needs and alway with a smile and a kind word. Therapy has worked with me and helped me to be able to get back on my feet and moving and be able to make a good recovery to be able to go back into my normal life. Appreciate all the care and love that has been giving to me always with the smiley face and never complain. I would recommend it here for everybody.

Experiencia fantástica: Overall, my experience here was good. The CNA was very thorough about keeping you clean. Damary was very attended to my needs and always greet me with a smile. In physical therapy, they have such a great team. They will come to your room to get you when it was time to do therapy. Cindy, Randy, John and Jeremy were fun to exercise with. The resident relation, welcome me with a gift bag and was always smiling Ms. Daravy Perez.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best centers I’ve ever experienced from the nurses , the certified nurse assistants as well as the supervisor. When I realized my time was up I was brought to tears. My stay here will be forever cherished. CNA in station 3 Sonia, Michelle Demary was awesome. Rehab therapy was excellent John was really amazing my tattoo man lol. And Ms Daravy Perez is always amazing. And also, everyone was great. The service was great. There are names that I haven’t mention, but overall they are excellent. Thank you CCRC only wish to come back to visit with the staff. You will always be in my heart

Experiencia fantástica: I was at the facility for six weeks, I have to really express how outstanding the facility was and how professional the staff are. One of the major complaints when living at a care facility is how horrible the food is that was not my experience I had to say thank God to the cooking staff cause they knew how to season the food and it was very tasteful, Ryan the kitchen manager went above and beyond to meet my special dietary needs. The nursing staff was a tenant and I felt well taken care of my specific CNA who provided me care was Gisele, Michelle and Leea. There were multiple others, but they stood out. I can’t go through making this review without also mentioning my LVN Erika she looks really young, but she’s quite professional and has a really great bedside manner very attendant to her clients. The backbone of the nursing staff I have to state my two primary RN Easter and Mary. Marieta the assistant director of nursing was amazing Thank you. Recovery is difficult and as a client, you have to keep in mind you have to be patient. In addition to the nursing staff really creating and fostering environment where physically and mentally I could work toward my recovery a major part of my success was my physical therapy team NIDHI, JOHN and multiple others on the physical therapy team daily help me strive toward my recovery. Everyone’s heard the old adage it takes a village to raise a child. I would say it takes a great care team to help you Foster the best recovery. Can you We hope that we don’t have to end up utilizing a care facility, but I just wanna post this in the event you need to feel assured that you will be well taken care of. Daravy Perez was the person who provided me assistance in walking through the process and assisted me in any challenges or concerns I may have. She assisted me with any challenges and was very knowledgeable about how the system worked and who I needed to coordinate with for all of my specific needs. She was exceptional, and also a tremendous part of my success.

I would like to give a shout out to Susan, Manny and Sandra the night shift CNA. Also, Teresa, Haylie , Cynthia, and Mary CNA’s morning shift. Elbert and Regine in physical therapy. Leann, Justine, Kim, and Keira. Wound nurse Brian and Trish, and a big shout out to my case manager, Lourdes and Olga and Daravy. I want to give a shout out to Kimberly my amazing and beautiful nurse who really took care of all my needs and was always there to give a little conversation when I needed it and to Bryza (my other Nurse) whose smile was like a ray of sunshine in the morning. Both of these women had an amazing bedside manner and always made sure i had what I needed. Now a shout out to Lordnense (LuLu) i know i spelled her name wrong and I apologize for that; She was my case worker and she takes care of her patients to the point of getting me to my doctors appointment even if the cost of transportation had to come out of her own pocket. What a great staff all the way around including all the CNA's who work way too hard and the OC & PT staff that got me walking, Thanks everyone.

Experiencia negativa: The physical therapist are amazing here and doing an amazing job! But the nurse my grandmother and her roommate have to deal with is not acceptable. My grandmother has to sit in her own feces and urine for over an hour. And her elderly neighbor who also needs help and the nurse button is pushed to assist her and again over an hour goes by with no help. I had to call up there to get my grandmother help and cleaned up. Then this nurse treats her worse an an super rough when it was finally time for her to bath my grandmother. I had to go give her a shower because she was to scared to ask for a shower. This nurse I was told had gotten a promotion and her level of care she has to offer deserves some looking in to. Experiencia fantástica: My dad came for rehabilitation for broken spine, hip, and femur. He said he was treated better than Riverside community hospital. This facility has two sides. They have a rehab side and a long term care side. We were in the rehab side. There was no foul smells. My dad didn't complain about anything. He said the food was actually good! There are two people per room and they have access to a patio from their room.

Experiencia negativa: Where do I start? I'll just say do not put your loved ones there. Unfortunately for people on Medicare and Medi-Cal there aren't many suitable options but this should not be one of them. I don't care what level of sickness your loved one experiences there's no reason, no justification for a bed sore. She's either not being turned every two hours or she's being neglected. I'm not even stating everything. I'm so happy I got my mom out of there when I did. Nothing was an easy decision to make going forward but to take her to the hospital has been the very best choice.

I'm currently in your facility and my cna Monica has been doubling my diaper for 2 days now. Update: This place is under new management. However it still has a long way to go to be considered good. The food service has gone down quite a bit. I don't know if it is because of how they are doing it or what. I no longer have cna's trying to double diaper me. I don't know what they are going to do if the amount of workers decides to go elsewhere due to lack of fair wages.

Experiencia fantástica: Reading these reviews i am very surprised, and not exactly what i experienced. I was at this Rehab for 6/21 to 6/22, 1 year. I was well taken care of , and the staff was Great !! I especially, was helped by the Physical therapy department, and they were #1 ,always encouraging and patient .I cant say enough good things about all of them. As for the food , I liked it and thought it was very good , and they have a side menu if you dont like the main menu. The CNA's were all caring and motivating . Overall , I would go back if I had too ! Thank you all for my Care !

Experiencia negativa: this ''Facility'' shouldn't even be in business the staff here are very rude and disrespectful to visitors and patients especially their patients this ''facility'' treats them like garbage. i had a family member in this ''facility'' and they were having a hard time breathing and the ''nurses'' didn't even have a care in the world for the patients. i just reported this ''business'' to the BBB i hope this place gets shut down.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give less than 1 star I would. All staff is uncaring. Food is slop and unintentional. Have had to call ombudsmen to file report and will call Medicare. Have to have food delivered to me so I can eat at least once a day. I cannot afford over $100 week for that. Yet they bill Medicare for meals I am not being fed. 20 pounds in 2 weeks is WAY too much to loose too fast and I'm stuck here till first half of Dec at least. And have lost everything I own due to being stuck here.

Experiencia negativa: Do not bring your loved ones here. Just don't. God forbid you try to visit after you get off from work because you'll probably be turned away although you have an appointment. I'm starting to think I'm being turned away because I'm not vaccinated. I had my N95 mask and haven't caught anything yet. Coming from another county. Not to mention that nobody seems to know anything about her appointments, etc. I also have a family that keeps me busy. I should feel 110% confident that my mother is in good hands. I do not. The only department that has always been kind, knowledgeable and flexible with me is activities. Activities need to run the entire place. I am livid after yet again being turned away. They can make meal arrangements when they know the residents are having visitors. I've been in this field since I was 19 yrs old. I know!!!! Too bad poor people don't have the same choices are people with a bit of money because this is what you get. I'm going to start reporting stuff. Every little thing. Every. Enough chatter.

Experiencia fantástica: Ok, first of all I have to say, based on the previous reviews, I expected to walk into a nightmare when I went to visit my client at this facility for the first time. I can honestly say that this facility is WELL run and beautiful. The nurses are very friendly and helpful. It's extremely clean and smell free. The woman I am a caregiver for has been recovering here for over a week and has been well taken care of after her surgery. I know that this facility is under fairly new administration and it really shows that they care about this place. Someplace like this is always going to be only as good as the person in charge. I can honestly say the person in charge here, takes pride in their job and this facility. I'm not sure if the negative reviews were during the former administrators employment, but this place, now, is top notch. I would recommend it to friends and family. If you left a negative review in the past, I recommend returning and checking it out. The nurses here are friendly and easy to talk to, which is nice when you have a loved one here and need questions answered. I can see they work hard and at the moment the facility is at full capacity, so they are super busy and spread thin. Even though, they still make time and do it with a good attitude. I appreciate everyone here and their caring demeanor. It really stands out to me and helps me to feel more comfortable about my client being out of my care right now. I know she's being well taken care of.

Experiencia positiva: I stayed here for about a month for rehab service after breaking two bones. I only stayed because this is what my insurance covered. I only gave 3 stars...because it seems their short staffed a lot or something. Sometimes you have to wait awhile before they come after pressing the nurse light, especially if you have a young CNA. Which sucks...when you have to use the restroom. A few times I was left in the bathroom. I pressed the call light and had to wait in an uncomfortable shower chair for at least 6 minutes. Very uncomfortable and painful for a person recovering from a fractured femur. When they moved my room the second time, they brought my stuff over and just left everything in the wheelchair. My clothes and snacks. I asked for help, however no one put anything away. Mind you, I couldn't do it myself. Even though, there's were a few bad things. They do have some wonderful CNA's. Thank you to Michelle (bomb CNA), Charlene, Ryan, Aura, Claudia and Kim (very caring). Merlina, wound nurse is great. Krista and Ashley, the LVN's are nice and informative. Mae, RN is a lot of help as well. Physical therapy is good, no problems. I'm still waiting for my wheelchair and stuff that case management is working on. It's been a week and nothing has been done. Sucks Now, the food! Out of 10, I give it a 3. That's it for my long review.

Experiencia negativa: Linda, the person that answers the phone and is in charge of things is the worst ever. Instead of getting a very important phone call to my dad she transferred me to his room where there is no phone and when I called back she was very short as well. This place needs new management because everyone I go in there there need my Covid card which they are supposed to have on file but never do. They also do not have all my father's medications he needs. He has heart problems and needs a water pill and 2 weeks later he has not gotten it. This place is horrible and needs to get looked at by the government.

Experiencia negativa: My mother was a patient here. She had a stroke and was transfered here for care and rehabilitation. The staff are not helpful at all. I would call to get updates from their supervisors or staff on my mom's progress and be placed on hold and transferred around until I hung up or the call dropped. My mom would video chat with me and have nobody come check in her. Multiple times she complained about being cold and having not enough blankets. I tried to schedule an appointment to visit her and they told me their earliest appointment was 9 days away. The staff at this facility do not care about the patients. Anytime you are actually able to talk to anyone they say they don't know anything or transfer you around until you hang up. To top off everything they transferred my mom to a hospital near by and nobody notified me. I am her primary emergency contact and I found out she is was no longer at their facility when I called to check on her. Their response was that they show me as the primary contact but don't know why I wasn't notified. Her Primary case worker blamed a nurse who was off work. If you want your loved ones to get better I would not suggest community care and rehabilitation center in riverside. I wish I listened to all of the other reviews on here about this facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so grateful for them to take my dad who's a medi-cal patient. I worked with Carlos and Cindy, and they were a great help. they were all so nice to me and my sister, one time i got so hungry bec. i had to wait for their paperwork, i told them that i needed to step out bec. im diabetic and i needed to eat. and Cindy was nice enough to offer me a sandwich. i mean who does that right? but anyway, the staff are very nice as well. i'm so glad that they also call me on step by step basis with my dad, when he goes through admissions by testing him, if he's put to regular rooms, stuff like that. its just a peace of mind. i was a caregiver to my dad, and i'm finally at ease that he's in good hands. one thing i dont like is the parking, its so hard to find one specially in the afternoon, ughhh please let your employees park somewhere else, dont let them use the visitors parking.

Experiencia fantástica: My Brother Bruce has been in the care there at Community Care and Rehabilitation for the past 9 months. His case has been complicated and the entire staff including nurses, administrators, Social Workers, and those in the Business Office have been such a blessing to both my brother and myself. Navigating the best care for a family member to include ensuring they are covered under Medi-Cal, getting the right treatments, and understanding how each part of the systems work together is complicated and overwhelming. Janet, Maricela and the staff there at Community Care and Rehabilitation Riverside have gone above and beyond to help me advocate for my brothers well being. COVID has placed additional stressors on the healthcare professionals and staff. Patients are also feeling the impact. Even through this period, they have continued to provide exceptional care under the most trying circumstances. My Brother Bruce did test positive and was immediately moved into into a COVID ward with other positive COVID patients. This was a scary time for both my brother and I. I emailed Janet, the Head Social Worker outside business hours and she replied immediately. This attention to detail and professionalism during a crisis is impressive. My brother is doing well and I know he is in good hands there.

Experiencia negativa: Worst facility ever. Had the worst experience here with my Father. When in to finish his antibiotics and for physical therapy, left there with bruces from a fall and also suffered a heart attack.... nobody had noticed or had any clear answers as to what had happened. Witnessed a dead body in the same room as Dad also, who knows how long he had been gone. Horrible spot!!!

Experiencia negativa: The State Auditors have given this facility a rating of 1 out of 5. That alone speaks for itself. DO NOT send your family member here. The staff will steal the personal belongings of your loved one every chance they get. RUN as fast as you can away from this place.

Experiencia negativa: You have my dad in this place and this place is a f****** mess not dirty just people got a job to do and they don't want to do it my dad went poop on his self and it took them 4 hours to change my dad by the time they change them he had a sore on his butt took them about an hour or two to put the medicine on him for the sore then he pooped again I had to go find the nurse to tell them to change him and can you believe the b**** ass nurse Maria said I already changed him I told her okay that's your job you better change him again she said but he has the runs that's not his fault it's your job to change him when he needs to be changed she gave me attitude gave my dad attitude this place sucks I give it a one-star rating most of the staff is very nice but the nurse that has to do her job garbage

Experiencia negativa: I can understand why this place has such low ratings.No way in hell I will allow my father to come back here again.The few things that are good about this place is the people that work there.Especially the physical rehab area with the physical therapists,they are really nice and do a good job getting my father close to normal.The nurses response times suck.Be sure to take your loved ones clothes to wash yourself because they will for sure lose your loved ones clothes and will not keep track. They constantly give you the run around instead of a straight answer on some things.The 2 times I spoke with a nurse named appalonia she gave me attitude telling me she's off the clock and can't help me when she's sitting in one off those chairs in station 3 and on the clock working on paperwork. She seems like a lazy worker.I had issues with the social workers there.I always felt rushed when I talked to them.I would go on about how bad the social services department is but this review would be too long. The food quality sucks.My dad was suppose to be on a low sodium diet,no caffiene & low and behold the people in charge of giving my dad his food gives him coffee 3x a day.I told the dietician not to give my dad coffee in the afternoon & night but she never told the cooks. The patients there would constantly ask me to do them a favor and take them inside the facility or outside EVERY TIME I went to go visit my dad.One of the patients there asked me to get him a packet of cigarettes at the liquor store after I helped take his wheelchair outside.I'm completely against smoking and don't support it ,but the guy was begging me.I told him to get his relatives to do it because I'm here to see my dad not to help anyones bad habit that got them in a nursing home in the first place.He never asked me again which was nice. This place also has a placement issue because my dad had a roommate who was noisy as hell and would talk to himself late at night.MY dad could never get a solid sleep.I had to bug the social services guy more than 5 times to get the guy out of my dads room.The social services guy told me and my dad to go look at rooms and see if we see a empty bed and then to let him know.I told romwell that it's his job to do that since he's incharge of placing patients into rooms.Needless to say he didn't like that I told him also that it's his job to do that not mine. He eventually got that roommate removed from my dad's room and got a better roommate who was quiet. The facility hardly contacted me to tell me the progress my dad has made.I felt like I had to interrogate them like a FBI agent to get info out of them.They are extremely unorganized and all over the place.The administrator needs to crack down on many issues here.I'm just happy he's out of there and doing better because that place deserves no stars. Romwell is by far the worst social worker I have met when its involving my dad.Hated talking to him because like I said before he would always rush me,never actually listened to my concerns about my dad's health,would want me to do certain tasks even though it's his job,would say he would do this or that and never contacted me to let me know what's going on.One day I called his office.The other social worker working there said he is in a meeting.I drove over there.Weent to his office and he was just talking to the other female social worker and not in a meeting.He NEVER returned my calls and would always make excuses for his behavior.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place to take your love one. Horrible aroma that appeared to cover up stench. PT did not start until my sister inquired about why was it not started. Nurses were not part of rehab team , used bedside commode to transfer mom to bathroom without getting her up . 3 weeks of useless care. Mom ended up with infection of surgical site because she just laid in bed for first 2 weeks . Mom ended up readmittrd to hospital due to infection worsen . Needed I and D . This is all a result of lack of attentiveness from the rehab place and mom being in bed most of her rehab stay. Would never recommend this rehab center for rehab . Very disappointed. Ever new owners of this facility care has gone done to non existence. Staff appeared under staff and frazzled to give proper care

Experiencia negativa: Looks nice on the outside but terrible Staffing the lvns are hard to locate the CNAs are hard to locate and if you ask something from them they don't ever come back. Suffered a trigeminal neuropathy episode CNAs thought I was having a seizure couldn't find the LVN I was afraid so I called my husband we had to ask if he can spend the night when I get us episode like that I get one after after the other he was not allowed to stay in my room to Watch Over Me so we decided to spend the night in the lobby to the next morning. Next thing my husband was visiting me I felt dizzy and lightheaded with blurry vision my husband had to stop a CNA to check my blood pressure it was high she told she told my husband oh it looks okay it was 170 something over 97 my husband said no get a nurse she left us she never came back nor a menace my husband husband called 911 they never even went to speak to the paramedics and so they held us up at Riverside Community social worker said they were waiting to place me the worker said Community I left which not true if I did I would not have my midline on my arm. Then the worker from Community Care showed up at the hospital said oh you were discharged did not even sign the papers new medication and the midline still in my arm Riverside Community Hospital removed the midline later on the case manager from Community Care came to us then said oh you can come oh come back to the center do the last antibiotic and get discharge the next day there's so much about this Center I can go on and on I don't even know if they filed a report to the state of the incident that happened with me oh I forgot I'm there medical cart where they distribute the medicine to the patients say please do not disturb while doing medication I am I disappointed about abou I won't even wish it upon my worst enemy

Experiencia negativa: This facility needs to be investigated especially when it comes to the medications and financial aspects. First, they are not documenting accurately if a Patient took their medication, refused, or hid their meds, because upon several visits we learned that our family member was hiding their medications because she felt loopy from all the meds they were giving her. I Realize a patient has the right to refuse medications but I also know the importance of documenting that, And since they were not documenting if they were taken or refused or hidden they were having dosages increased and not even knowing the real reasons other than a lower blood pressure or lower sugar level because they never confirmed if the patient took their medications. They could have overdosed the patient! As far as on the financial aspect,They kept hounding one of the adult children of a patient, for their parents ATM card or a blank check. After speaking to a Medi-cal supervisor we were advised Not to comply with that, that they were trying to use scare tactics, because the long term medi-cal had not kicked in yet. They were Also telling the adult child that they needed to provide them with their personal information such as place of employment, income, etc. However, the adult child is not financially responsible for the parent. After Discharging the patient, It was discovered that they tried to become payee's of her social security benefits which we had to learn through the SSI office when she had been home for 2 months and not receive any benefits. The social worker said that was sheisty on their end, as they would have received her benefits once her long term medical was processed.

Experiencia negativa: Elderly patients should not be treated like two year old that piss their pants there's enough money going into that hospital for you to get your patients to the restroom on time nurses can go to the bathroom whatever they want to do your job and help your patients I don't want you guys making money washing sheets it's indecent and it's depressing and I will review this everyday if I find out my mom pissed her pants again. ( next day) the administrator is there handling the problem. And I appreciate it

Experiencia negativa: Horrible! They told us that they could handle my 83 year old dad with Dementia (he was combative). We checked him in, they never called me during the night and when I called in the morning they asked me to come in so they could talk to me. When I got there they had "dumped him" meaning they transported him to a local ER to get rid of him . BEWARE! The administrator was very nice to my face but lied to me and said they had placed my dad on a 51/50, which they hadn't. The ER was extremely upset saying Community Care just "dumped" him and didn't do their job to secure a safe location for him. IT WAS HORRIFIC!!!! TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place my father in law was here and these people had their patients out there beds waiting for food. When i got the about 12 patients where out infront of the nurse desk on wheel chairs i dont know how long waiting but they told us he had to wait 30 min for his . It is like the put up an act when visitors go i wonder how they treat their patients when visitors aren't around

Experiencia negativa: My father is currently 1/2 way through a 1 month stay for wound care and continuous IV antibiotics, otherwise he lives/drives etc. independently. He's been very impressed with the day staff, evening staff is hit or miss... the NOC crew not so much, he has actually refused one RN to touch him. I am really concerned for the residents who are unable and/or have no one to advocate for them. I made a list below, but the straw that broke the camel's back was when his PICC line accidentally got pulled out about 8-10 inches sometime in his sleep and the NOC RN tried to push it back in, which is a HUGE no-no; wasn't even going to swab it first. 1. His hemovac drain came apart and they didn't swab it before putting it back together, which increased his risk for further infection. 2. His hemovac drain had no drainage for days, and then all of a sudden it increased by a large amount. He could not get any staff to come and assess it. I had him empty it himself, estimate the amt. and color and recompress it so there would be adequate suction to do its job. 3. When he arrived, the bed did not lock so when he sat on it, it moved; the room heater above the bed would not turn off and the toilet bowl was not firmly bolted to the floor. Roommate had been in that room for 3 months prior to my father's admission and stated he had been requesting those repairs since his admission and nothing had been done. His bed was also broken. Contact from me resulted in all being fixed the same day. 4. NOC staff are very noisy during their shift, and this includes parties. 5. Food is 'horrible!' Very bland. 6. When requested a wheelchair with an IV pole attached was told there weren't any. Nurse asked maintenance to rig something up for him and maintenance told nurse to have IV antibiotic changed. Contact from me produced appropriate equipment immediately. 7. Placed on hold >15 minutes each time I called, was transferred to several different people and no one seemed to know what was going on. I have requested to be notified of any changes and have yet to be notified. 8. Staff, especially at night need reminders to do proper hand hygiene. 9. Person changing the IV antibiotic bag in the evenings needs reminders to swab the hubs on his PICC line before accessing. 10. They schedule care for inappropriate times: midnight vitals, 2 am labs, 4 am levothyroxine were his problems. When my dad made a request to the administrator to sleep from 12-6am, he was told that he was being inappropriate... this was after the day RN said no problem, got the orders changed but the NOC crew continued waking him up. 11. An outside ARNP came in to do dressing change and check drain; she removed the dressing, left the wound open and left without telling anyone. Staff knew where she was from, but didn't know her name. There's more, but these are the highlights. In good conscience, I cannot recommend this place.
