Advanced Spine Physical Therapy

Experiencia negativa: I went for my initial consultation and one visit- will never be back or recommend to others. After suffering from chronic pain for 6 months, I gave PT a try. During my consultation, she spent 30minutes telling me my pain was all in my head. Even though, I know it is a lifting injury, and a team of doctors and chiropractors have agreed. After feeling discouraged, I thought I’ll give it one more try. So I went for a visit with a guy there who helped me stretch and taught me a few exercises. This visit wasn’t awful, and was with a different person than my original consultation. But on the way out, he very much pressured me to make my next app. I rearranged my schedule so I could be available at 7am the next week. Then a few days later he texted me saying I was on his list of “inactive patients” and needed to schedule an app?!? I called in confused, & they confirmed they didn’t have anything in the system. I was shocked at how rude they handled the situation, no apology, no trying to make another app. The front desk girls seem absolutely clueless, with a lack of any customer service skills. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Experiencia fantástica: I was suffering from acute onset symptoms that were interfering with my work and the team was outstanding! They were accommodating with scheduling, delivered compassionate, attentive care and best of all, I am nearly 100% recovered. Dr. Barclay did a thorough evaluation and offered exercises that were effective, easy to integrate into my busy schedule and hassle free. Her PTA (I believe Brian was his name) did incredible manual work and had a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Jacko performed dry needling and it was amazing! As an acupuncturist, I appreciated her skills, patient education and the results speak for themselves. I will readily refer anyone I know to this clinic, and will return should I ever have a future need. Kudos to the entire team, a grateful patient!

Experiencia fantástica: I am writing to recommend Dr. David Loken. My low back pain was, in December 2023, crippling me from walking , sleep and exercise. Three physicians could not help. In our first meeting Dr. Loken isolated my pain to my right hip. In two months I am now fully recovered with his treatment including needling. I am very pleased with my recovery and recommend Dr. David Loken.

Experiencia negativa: My review is from my experience with ASPT on its billing capacity. My wife was seen by ASPT for two seasons of visits to help her rehabilitate as a multiple sclerosis client. Unfortunately, this provider was never able to bill the insurance companies correctly, which lead to uncovered fees (which we were informed only after many months had passed). This was certainly avoidable and yet, we were denied the opportunity to try a recent (post-COVID) visit and see if the billing would be successful. Considering that we have never had a similar billing issue with any other provider, I do not recommend ASPT if you have a secondary insurance coverage or some mix of plans to cover these expenses. There are other PT offices that know how to bill for their clients.

Experiencia fantástica: The ASPT office runs smooth as a clock. Jenn has been extremely helpful with freeing up my should impingements and also helping me discover what I am doing that could prevent them from coming back. Jenn is so very talented in what she practices. I love going into their facility, the place is peaceful and comfortable and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I've tried lots of other PT places for comparison, this tops the list as the best.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with this group has been completely different from any of the negative reviews. I have found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. Additionally, since I actually am seeing one of the therapists, I can say that she seems very knowledgeable and was quick to understand my problem and its nuances. I have only been to a couple of appointments so far, but I would definitely recommend them at this point.

Experiencia fantástica: What can be done, I cannot believe the service there. They Didn't have tea and crumpets. There was no valet... un real. I was expecting at least mediocre service. what I got instead was ASTOUNDING. The Team at Advanced Spine are professional, Timely, Organized and brilliant. Ive been working with their team on and off for three years now. They are incredible, have always met me where I am at and I cant imagine where I would be without their guidance! Thee best Physical Therapy team I have ever come across. from receptionists to billing to PTs they have an amazing team. Led by an amazing duo. Carol is one of a kind.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome. I came in feeling broken down, Jen worked with me for months and gave me multiple different exercises to work on and kept giving me new and different things to try. Dry needling was super helpful also, felt comfortable the whole time even though the needling part is a bit of an uncomfortable experience. Left this place with new tools in my bag to keep moving forward, really appreciate you working with me and helping me heal up and teaching me some new info that I can take along now to feel better!! Would come back again in a heartbeat.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place!!!! Carol, David, Jennifer, Donna, Gwen to name a few,they are all awesome!!!! I started going here to manage my MS the fall of 2019. I go twice a week, so to say that I was gutted when we closed down in 2020 is an understatement. Over the years I have been to several physical therapists, but this is the place that shows the most care and attention. Each time I go in for my appointment, I am seen by a licensed physical therapist. I am never schlepped off to a "tech". Each day I am greeted by name and enjoy a personalized customized treatment for the full appointment. I am never left alone to do an exercise by myself as I have with every other physical therapy clinic. My therapist is by my side the whole appointment. The whole team works in collaboration with my neurologist. I was surprised to realize they contact him personally and update him on my progress. This place is top-notch not only in cleanliness but professionalism!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Advanced Spine Therapy for tendonitis in my elbow. I saw Dr. David Loken. He diagnosed my problem and showed me some exercises to do to fix it. They worked great. My tendonitis is virtually non-existent now. I am very grateful for that help and very glad it took only one visit. I will go back there if I have any other problems like that.

Experiencia fantástica: All are very professional and most supportive. Dr. Jennifer Wright has worked with me on several issues. I can say that my posture and balance have improved significantly. I now know how to avoid hurting my back. I know 4 other people with different issues who are very happy I told them about Advanced Spine.

Experiencia negativa: I came here years ago..it was amazing. I remember Carol and the massage therapist Julie. They really helped me. When I was referred back here I was excited but it wasn't a good experience. First the receptionist was loud talking about partying...and made sure to collect my money before I went in. Then I go in and the therapist that was helping me didn't have my records. I asked about my condition and what it meant. I got a blank look...they said I'll check front desk. Nothing. I waited 3 weeks for an app. The Dr faxed everything over but they claimed they never got it..so why was I there? So we fumbled through this app. Then I had another app. This time had my records still didn't really explain. The app was 15 mins long. Really? I had to get a ride and I just got 15 mins which was mostly talking. I was given a piece of paper. I asked if they had a massage therapist...I got a look and was told oh well we can do it. No I need a massage therapist not someone who doesn't know what they are doing. So I was disappointed and upset. Waited all this time for nothing. I was told on the phone before my app...They had my records and a therapist that did massages. How can you call someone for an app if you don't have there referral? This is a mystery to me. Very unorganized and unprofessional....but they want there money. Sad this place went down hill. I won't be back. Clean up that front desk.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred here after I had a bad experience with my in-network PT provider. I had such an amazing experience dealing with my "minor" back and knee issues that I returned without question when I broke my collarbone and suffered a bad knee sprain. Jennifer has a wonderful bedside manner and has been supportive, encouraging, and understanding through all of my tribulations. The front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and recognized me and said hi when they saw me out and about. I wouldn't hesitate (and definitely have) referred them to anyone needing a little PT in their lives.

Experiencia fantástica: I used to dread Physical Therapy until I found ASPT. The staff here is well trained and they are encouraging, but not in the high school gym teacher way that I've experienced at other therapists' offices. Now, I look forward to my PT appointments and I really feel the benefits - it's only been a few sessions so far and friends and family are noticing my improved gait! Toni at the desk is very friendly and always makes me feel welcome; Carol is my usual therapist and she's incredibly knowledgable; and when Carol wasn't available one week, Stephanie stepped in and did just as well! Experiencia fantástica: Kudos to Dr Jennifer Wright. I was referred to ASPT by my primary care doc, for a rotator cuff impingement. I admit I started out pretty skeptical. How could such simple lame rubber-band exercises possibly help? But I was a total convert when the pain was gone after about 2 months, and has never come back. Those "simple lame rubber-band exercises" were actually teaching me good postural habits, and those good postural habits are the key to lasting relief.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm very pleased with the results from my physical therapy. From the front desk to my main therapist, Jennifer, I was treated warmly and professionally. I was having hip pains that responded to the various treatment methods, including dry needling. I told Jennifer that my goal was to be able to hike up Mt Bierstadt (a 14er) with my daughter by August. I'm happy to let you know that I made the 6 hour hike and recovered nicely.

Experiencia fantástica: As a rugby player you get used to be coached and encouraged to do your best. I felt the exact same way with Susan K. at Advanced Spine PT. She kept on top of me making sure I was doing what I needed to heal myself...she was my healing coach. I can't thank her and the team over there enough for the patience and encouragement that you gave me as I fought my fears to move and thrive again. (Plus they can talk rugby with me!)

Experiencia fantástica: After receiving treatment at ASPT, I experienced some billing issues with a third party billing service formerly used by the clinic. I'm compelled to write this review because the exceptional level of customer service I received regarding those issues. My concerns were addressed almost immediately, and with action that far exceeded my expectations! Carol and her staff turned what could have been an extremely frustrating experience into an excellent one.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible receptionists, they were cold and unwelcoming. I am disappointed a professional business like this allows their employees to create such an uncomfortable first impression on new clients and I will not be returning. Both over the phone and in person, the receptionists were short and unaccomodating. I was blamed for not answering their phone calls despite the fact I had no missed calls or voicemails from them. I was treated so poorly I did not want to pursue an appointment with a doctor. The receptionists did not even appear interested in helping me when they found out they did not accept my health insurance. I cannot attest to the care that the physical therapists or doctors provide, but first impressions really do matter. Being a professional in the health and medical field, it makes me sad to know that people who really need help can be treated this way. I will not be returning nor would I ever consider referring my own clients.

Experiencia negativa: The first therapist was helpful, but after that I do not consider what I got after that of any value. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone!!
