Experiencia fantástica: Recently toured,facility looked cleaned, smelled clean, residents and staff seemed happy and content. It was around lunch time and the food aromas coming from the kitchen was fantastic. I would recommend this facility for my friend who needs Rehabilitation. Unfortunately due to insurance she had to go home with home health.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently toured Poudre Canyon with their admissions coordinator Sydney. I interacted with several residents, multiple staff members, and some members of their leadership team . Everyone was kind, and seemed very happy. The building was clean and well kept. The facility is conveniently next to Poudre Valley Hospital.

Experiencia negativa: Worse place in the world, neglectful. Due to neglect my dad got merca and is passing away, before he even passed they went in and bagged up his stuff in trash bags, didn't allow us time to grieve. We do not recommend sending ur loved ones to this facility. Hopefully this place will get some help for the remaining residents.

Experiencia positiva: Occupational therapist Kevin was excellent. Helped me to recuperate from my illness and become independent. Nurses were kind and helpful. Facility was old and run down and personal care was lacking. Insisted on shower after more than a week. Linens were only changed when OT helped me to change them. No phone service; ran out of my pain meds last 5 days and went without.

Experiencia fantástica: My Moms care here is great and the staff is wonderful and accountable. I am in California and every time my Mom may have a fall regardless of the time they call to report. They keep me included in all the conference regarding my mother. I like this place.

Experiencia positiva: My dad was here a few years ago and it was my first experience with one of these nursing home type places. Back then I was just disgusted by the smell but now after having sent him to a place that contributed to his death I realize that the workers here were amazing and they were always on top of everything. It’s been a while and I hope that still the case. It may be stinky but the employees cared.

Experiencia negativa: I can't say the care here was anything beyond "alright." And that might be hyperbole. The CNAs and other lower-level staff were generally friendly and polite. Policy and practice seemed inconsistent, and more reliant on WHO was working (and probably how many) than what the actual policy called for. Eg., I'd get a call about a persistent issue for my family member but then no other calls. No updates. Perhaps MOST disturbing to me: I'd call to reach a desk employee and the phone would ring and ring and ring and ring. During regular business hours. This truly scared me. I had very little formal interaction with staff, even upon admission. The focus was on filling out paperwork, which sometimes came to me partially filled out. I'd correct the errors and not sign the document ... not once was a corrected copy provided to me for signature. Communication was poor, even nonexistent upon discharge. This place scared me. I hope I never end up such a lonely, smelly place. My sense is that people go here to survive, but the will not thrive here. My family member was significantly more buoyant in her personality just days after being discharged to another facility (lower level of care). Months after discharge, my family member is absolutely thriving. Increasingly I wonder if large corporations shouldn't receive better oversight if they operate skilled nursing facilities like this one.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a clean, yet personable place. All equipment is modern, new and obviously well maintained. All items for residents are well stocked and easy to get to. The staff at this facility is amazing. Everyone is professional and very good at their jobs. I feel that there is an overwhelming, genuine dedication to the care of each resident. Everyone is always eager to assist in whatever way possible, no matter the intensity of need. I noticed that the facility supervisors and more senior staff can often be found taking a personal interest in the care of each and every individual. Care like this is exceptional, and I would recommend this location to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: This home has focused on the quality of care and compassion for its residents. The residents smile and are active in their home. While it may not be the newest facility, I constantly hear that it is the one that has the most caring staff.
