Andrew and Nicole have helped me tremendously since working with them. Their knowledge and understanding of each patients requirements are unmatched. I’ve done tons of training and sports therapy in the past and they are hands down the easiest, most flexible and nicest people to go to in the Fort Lauderdale area. 10/10 recommend and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t at least do a evaluation with them.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved my experience at AVION. Was having an issue with my collarbone having some discomfort and limiting my mobility. I didn’t have any clue what the issue was so I decided to check AVION out, as a couple friends and coworkers gave it their stand of approval. Andrew was very diligent and knowledgeable, able to diagnose my issue after a couple tests. After only 3 sessions of massaging, scraping, cupping, and some targeted exercises, I’m feeling great and like I never had the issue to begin with. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Nicole Lescano and all of the staff at Avion Physical Therapy were great! Dr Lescano listened attentively to all of my complaints of physical ailments. She was knowledgeable and had several modalities at her disposal to treat them. From fascia massage, dry needling, red light therapy, and a pressurized cuff ( sorry I forgot the technical name). Over time the pain lessened and I was able to continue my daily activities pain free! Thanks for the great care Avion!

Experiencia fantástica: Avion sports rehab is the place you NEED to go to if you’re in pain. I got into a major car accident in April and experienced intense pain and radial nerve damage. I could no longer lift the way I wanted to and had no feeling in my right arm. I was in the middle of prep for a bikini competition as well and was worried that this injury would be permanent. I decided to go to Avion and without a doubt, it was the best decision I ever made. Within two visits I was back to doing pull ups and push ups again, no pain, and had all the feeling back in my right arm. Andrew pinpointed the issue immediately and came up with a game plan to help me get back to doing what I love. Avion sports Rehab will always hold a special place in my heart because they care, they’re extremely knowledgeable, efficient and will get you out of the pain you’re in. Experiencia fantástica: I am a powerlifter and I have been having a very hard time doing flat bench press because my left shoulder has been far too stiff, crunchy and inflexible. I couldn't be happier with my doctor's recommendation of coming here for treatment. My orthopedic surgeon checked me out, found an impingement and said that he recommends Avion to fix me up. After about four or five sessions, between diagnosis, small targeted exercises and dry needling I am leaps and bounds better. The pain I was feeling in my shoulder is down from a 4 to a 1. I have much better flexibility now and I am looking forward to advancing on flat bench past my current ceiling. Everyone is very polite and inviting. My therapist is very sweet, incredibly knowledgeable and she listens, which is very important to me. I have learned so much from her in these few sessions. We are now working on my left QL muscle which is in incredible pain. I am just lucky that I have already been working with them, because I am far less worried knowing I am in the right hands. True experts.

She was very patient with me and helped me strengthen my body back up after having an upper back/shoulder injury from overuse in bartending as well as help ease my symptoms of sciatica. Experiencia fantástica: I had an arthroscopic left elbow debridement due to years in the military and a BJJ injury. Unfortunately, my Ortho recommended a lame PT facility where I wasted 1.5 months; the lame "high end" one on SE 3rd Ave where patients are subject to a factory method of care. Fortunately, a friend referred me to Avion PT. The amount of individual attention you receive is profound. My therapist, Nicole, was an absolute rockstar who continuously noticed subtle differences between my left and right arm during exercises that resulted in more attention to remedy said differences, ultimately resulting in a much faster healing process. The PTs here continuously add exercises and forms of treatment so you never encounter any plateaus in your recovery. Can't recommend this place enough, 10/10.

Every other place I have gone to makes me feel like a number and I never fully understood the issues in my body. Experiencia fantástica: Andrew and the whole Avion team have been great. I had a disc extrusion back in 2022. Prior to Avion I went with the typical medicine progression of xray (no broken bones) to expensive MRI (to get an official “diagnosis”) to then try traditional PT where the provider was jumping between 5 people at the same time. I felt lost, pain was ruling my life and I knew I didn’t want surgery. Thankfully, I found Avion where I experienced great one-on-one care, excellent information from a knowledgeable team, and a plan. I had hesitancies and speed bumps throughout my recovery and it took me a while to learn that healing wasn’t a magic overnight miracle. By working with Avion over a consistent progression of time, I “re-learned” how to move, be confident with my training, and heal. I had personalized workout plans and eventually got to the point where I could come in for “tune-ups”. I am happy to say I am at my baseline activities of daily living and I don’t feel trapped by my previous pain. If I have a flare or over-do-it, I know exactly what to do to get back on track. As an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, I see similar cases to mine everyday. Many of these injuries do not need to be a chronic ailment derailing the rest of your life. With the right training and plan, dedicated individuals can get back what they lost. I highly recommend Avion as the team to get you there.

My experience with Andrew at Avion has kept me out of surgery, off medication and away from cortisone injections. A combination of dry needling, BFR, therapeutic exercises and ROM analysis, I have been able to train and prep without interruption. Staff is accommodating and I always get an appointment. Experiencia fantástica: Came here for a running analysis as I’m starting to take running more seriously. To be clear, this isn’t a running “gait” analysis type of place where you’re placed on a treadmill to have your form analyzed. I have the basics of running down, but wanted to get some advice on my running form. I had my appt with Andrew and he was so knowledgeable on every topic we discussed - from running goals, targeting specific muscle groups for better form and strengthening, preventing injuries, and so much more. My appt was only an hour, but it was very interactive and you definitely do a lot! Prepare to sweat a bit! Highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for some advice/assistance on not just running, but physical therapy as well.

I’ve seen Andrew at Avion Sports Rehab for roughly 3 appointments, and with those 3 appointments the PSOAS pain I had in my hip for the last 2 years, and the all around hip/leg pain I’ve been feeling all over has COMPLETELY vanished. I play a lot of recreational sports and had given up ever “being the best I could be” because I thought I was just too old to compete. That is just not the case. Andrew has completely changed my life and dramatically improved my mental health because I now get to play those sports, while also not waking up automatically with a strain in my hip, and quite the contrary, I feel strong all over. Do your squats people!

With many sessions of acupuncture, cupping, and physical training I have been able to go back to the gym & I no longer have CONSTANT background pain in my lower back which I was dealing with untreated for 2 YEARS. Experiencia fantástica: 5 stars for Avion PT. I went to Avion for PT, Dr. Nicole Lescano, for 9 weeks, Jul-Sep 2023 for a mystery knee issue that was limiting my training. I was preparing to race in Tahiti beginning of Sept. in the "Super Aito", an endurance Tahitian outrigger canoe race . She met me where I was and worked patiently with me with founddational work. I was ready to go by the time I arrived in Tahiti. While an alterenative event was held due to bad ocean conditions, I finished Top 10 again overall, 1st place Women 50+ and 2nd place Women 40+. Highly recommend Avion. I'll be back in Jan for sports rehab for an old shoulder injury. You get what you pay for.

I started with another practice and followed Andrew when he started Avion! Being able to have my PT out of my gym has been such a blessing. It not only holds me accountable but he can address my form if necessary. I learned of Avion Physical Therapy through a friend and found that i have plantar fasciitis. The team here is so helpful and informative to helping people. I just had my fourth session with Nicole and my pain has significantly decreased. Nicole was my physical therapist and she was so great with my recovery. Definitely give these guys a try if you need any physical therapy/sports rehabilitation. They are fantastic.

As a high mileage runner, my lower body has always got something going on. It requires a lot of individualized care and maintenance. I started at Avion when I was having discomfort with my hamstring that drastically decreased the mileage I was able to handle (~10 miles a week). Within weeks I was able to safely ramp up my mileage to begin training for my next marathon, to now being able to handle 60+ miles weekly. They always have an innovative array of exercises to target muscles I never knew needed to be targeted as a runner. These have helped greatly with both recovery and injury prevention I don't think would have been possible without the personalized care from Andrew and Nicole. I was also always hesitant/afraid of needling but they do a great job of making it as comfortable and pain free as possible. I would highly recommend Avion PT to any runners out there, regardless of your level of running!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Avion to deal with recurring low back pain and some knee issues. Nicole and Andrew are excellent PT's and it is apparent that they are very knowledgeable. They are also welcoming and make you feel comfortable to be there. Through a physical assessment, Nicole was able to find out the triggers of my pain and after a program of exercises and treatments, it has been greatly reduced. I would recommend anyone in pain to give them a try

Experiencia fantástica: I started PT at Avion after months of foot pain and not being able to walk without a boot Within a few weeks of PT which includes dry needling, cupping, massage etc. I’ve been able to walk a few miles without pain. Shortly I’ll be able to resume my workouts. Andrew and Dr. Nicole are amazing. They explain everything and keep me moving and on my feet and toes - literally. They are personable and make it a fun experience too! And give uninterrupted sole attention the entire visit. You need to get there however you can - walk, run, crawl or have someone carry you, you need to choose Avion for your physical therapy treatments! Don’t wait!

Experiencia fantástica: Andrew and the Avion team have done wonders for me over the past 3-4 weeks. I have been an athlete my entire life and have weight training / bodybuilding for nearly 15 yrs. Over the past 2-3 years, I’ve had issues with my chest firing and contracting correctly to point where my pumps were non existent. Andrew created a game plan and it’s been working tremendously. The dry needling has helped immensely and my chest is beginning to fire again. 10/10 recommend.

They spent a a lot of time identifying the source of my pain and created a brilliant plan to alleviate my pain and strengthen the areas around. I’ve seen improvements just after the first session. Experiencia fantástica: I am very thankful to both Andrew and Nicole at Avion PT. They both helped me enormously when I came to them with hamstring pain. Nicole spent the first session evaluating the pain, in order to come up with a treatment plan. They both were very involved in the recovery process. They didn't stop at addressing the hamstring, but looked at a whole range of motions that are involved in running. They invested time in showing me how to work on strength in my glutes, my balance and my stability. I was unable to stay with them for as long as I would have liked, due to work, but during the short time I was with them they really helped me, trying different techniques to improve the pain. After 5 weeks, the pain I experienced in my hamstring was so much better than when I started, and they showed my what to do at home, in order to continue two improve. I am very grateful to both of them and I will definitely return, when I am back in Fort Lauderdale.

From my very first visit, they took the time to not only personalize a physical therapy plan for me, but to educate me as well. Thanks to my sessions with Dr. Lescano, the needling sessions with Andrew, and the small every day exercises they had me incorporate into my routine, I’ve been able to manage my pain without meds and I feel like I’ve had increased mobility in areas I didn’t know I lacked mobility. Andrew is by far the best I have been to with a focus on a long term program to keep pain at bay. With some reluctance, I tried dry needling and it really seemed to help. My body needs constant attention to keep it running smoothly. I came into port once a week in Fort Lauderdale and they always made time for me on a Saturday morning to help me with my needs. Andrew was just amazing and I’m truly grateful for him, he goes above and beyond. He is very professional and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him. He is extremely passionate about his job and the best thing for me, he really understood my needs as a handbalancer as he can relate having done calisthenics before.
