Experiencia negativa: This place is a prison. My dad was hospitalized and had to receive an amputation while in their ‘care’. His quality of life declined significantly. When we tried to investigate the incident, Wilton resisted releasing his health records— shame on you Gregory Ingram. But with much effort we eventually received it. They also tampered with his Medicaid benefits. Overall lack of integrity at Wilton, and management is all in on it. Everything is hush hush, and I’m sure many of these reviews are fabricated because staff at Holy Cross hospital says this place has a bad reputation.

The nurses like Renita, Rose Aleandre, Lourdes, Brenda, Rose Jean-Baptiste follows up with my meds, my pain and my IV. They are wonderful. The head nurse Jeanne come see me. Dr Mehta follows up with everything. It's a great experience. I would like to give them my highest rating & express my gratitude for all their care.

Experiencia negativa: my mother was sent to wilton for rehab for a broken hip , before she went there she was 100 percent lucid and was actively participating in rehab in holy cross hospital with no problems , During her 33 day stay she was left to urinate on her self , parked in a wheelchair for 12 hours a day , fed food that was horrible , but she did receive some rehab , the last week before she left she had developed a cough and flu like symptoms , she was extremely sick but never got to see the dr ,after insisting on her discharge to home , we talked to our mom on easter sunday , she was clear headed and looking forward to being home the next day she was dropped off to home , could not form an intelligent sentence and could not stand or walk , she spent a few days at home before going back in the hospital , she was diagnosed with flu , severe uti , and finally with brain swelling and damage , she is getting care at home now , and i have no words to describe how bad her condition is , please do not send your loved one to wilton , my mother will never be the same again , and is probably headed to hospice care,

They have no regard for the ill, they will not do anything that they say they are going to do for example they say they do physical therapy but they are in the room for the most is 10mins!! We have lost a family member in this place due to lack of oxygen! Something so simple as making sure his oxygen is placed properly! You have been warned

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this place 0 stars I Surely would... There were only a handful of employees here that were helpful, the majority were Not.. My dad was recently in there and if he asked for cold water it would take them sometimes close to an hour to bring it to him, saying they had medication rounds to do first. There was one day I simply asked nicely if I could speak to his Dr and the nurse there tried to tell me everything except giving me his number... Then finally she gave me a number, but it wasn't the right number... It was just a very bad experience for him and us as a family

Experiencia fantástica: My father was blessed to have the privilege of staying at Wilton Manors Health and Rehabilitation Center last year. I love the rehab team. Rehab director Marie even sat down with me and developed a treatment plan for my father. The therapy staff knows exactly what is needed individually. They were awesome in every way, pushing ever so gently to achieve the positive result. It is so difficult to find words to show our appreciation other than “thank you so much.”

Experiencia positiva: The staff here are very polite and caring. I’m here to visit my mom everyday, 2-3+ times a day. I get to see a lot. Although there is room for some upgrades, the facility looks a lot better than the last rehab center my mom was at. Both gyms are bigger in person than online. The nurses allow me to be an advocate for my mom, which is extremely important to me. I feel safe having my mom here.

Experiencia fantástica: My father was readmitted to rehab for the second time. We felt relieved knowing he was returning to Wilton Manor, where the staff are incredibly caring and dedicated. He was always clean and always dressed in fresh clothes. His room was consistently clean and tidy. We were at peace going home knowing he was in a safe and nurturing environment!!❤️

Experiencia negativa: It was clean and most of the staff were very nice . The administrators were very friendly and helpful.. I gave Two stars because my husband needed PT after back surgery and it wasn’t really enough to get what he needed. It was minimal ! His surgeon and neurologist's in Holy Cross fought for him to stay in Holy Cross PT but our insurance wouldn’t cover it, so he had to go to Wilton Manors.. He lost valuable recovery time by not getting the quality of PT that was needed.. . AND I hope they will pay more attention to their food that they serve. It was horrible . I never expect good food in hospitals or facilities but it was really beyond bad .

Experiencia negativa: To all that it may concern placing your love one in this facility beware , especially if your LO has been diagnosed with dementia/dialysis/hip fracture “BEWARE” DONT IT!!! Our family has experience from October 2023 til this day January 2024 is daunting and horrific.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional. My mother has been treated very poorly here. The nurse is telling her that she will "get her back" for having to change her adult diaper. For doing her job. Another nurse gave her an IV in the middle of the night that she did not need. Even her doctor complained that they messed up her sodium levels with the IV. She has told me how mean they are to the other patients. Telling people that they are there because their kids don't want them any more. That is just cruelty. She is there for rehabilitation, and is telling me that she is scared that someone may sabotage her to try and keep her there.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother-in-law fell at the house and was sent to the hospital, and was discharged and sent to Wilton manors rehab. She came in late night after dinner service, Admissions representative made sure that she had dinner. The nurses along with staff at the rehab department have been very communicative and informative in regards to her health status. I am happy with the experience my mother-in-law is receiving at this facility I would recommend this place to any friend or stranger to wilton manors for your elderly care needs. Great job Team keep up the good work.

Experiencia negativa: I didn’t even want to give one star 2 x around and still not happy was in a room two weeks ago closer to the entrance they decide yo move my client to the north side was gonna to put him into that room after they had took the patient out before him brought them to his room put them in that room without cleaning it and it was gonna put my client into his room that wasn’t even cleaned and when I asked if you can clean the bathroom he said he was just gonna mop it because the patient didn’t walk so I didn’t have to be cleaned after a couple times asking him that I wanted to clean he eventually did The environmental service I think need to be retrained, especially with all the infections going around .11/02 This place needs corporate to come check things out not running the way it should run only one wash cloth to clean the whole bo , food they need a chef that’s a chef not pretending to be one , the aides are not around when you need them i would definitely give them a 0 star for service

Experiencia negativa: My grandfather was a patient there. Spoke with a woman who was his nurse at the time and was not nice. She had a heavy accent and started yelling at me because I asked her the status of his care. Honestly I asked her how was his wound, if she did care on it assess etc,, she told me she hasn’t looked at it all day have no clue. Keep your loved one at home unfortunately we had no choice at the time.

Experiencia negativa: My father almost DIED here. After staying only 4 days. He was complaining about chest issues and he couldn’t breath. The nurses completely ignored him until I showed up! I need to call 911. After he went to the hospital with a fever. The hospital said said he had gotten Covid there. I went back to the nursing home next day to get his medicine. The nurse that was taking care of him the night before wasn’t wearing a mask and exposing all the other elderly people with Covid. When I got home I counted my father’s medicine. He was supposed to get 2 pills a day of antibiotics and a few other medications. He only received one pill in 4 days. His infection came back and he remains in the hospital. This place needs to be shut down!

My grandmother was so weak and every time I went to see her food was all over her chest because she needed assistance. This the this pathetic place….I don’t recommend this place if u want top car. People need to be fired and not acknowledged just the way they are with the patients

Experiencia negativa: I am a caregiver for a patient who was, recently, discharged from Wiiton Manor. I can attest to the fact that her experience there was nothing short of horrific . Although there were some kind , competent, and caring CNAs, there were a large number of others who were rude, rough, unempatheic, and were verbally abusive. Trying to get a visit or returned phone call from management was pretty much an impossibility . The food was often, inedible and was very unhealthy..... high fructose corn syrup, lots of sugary drinks, few vegetables, and lots of pork products and too many starches.. The therapy was good, and there were nurses and CNAs helped, in what otherwise seemed like a horrible prison experience.

The DON Jeanne has been phenomenal and the infection control nurse Mark is also great. Frank in therapy is very good and very patient and helped me tremendously. When I walked in the therapy unit I could hardly walk. But I just about walked out :')

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars, I would!!!! My mother nearly died after being there for only 3 days. She was in the Rapid Recovery Unit. She went to the ER the 2nd night being there because her WBC dropped down to 1.0. I asked them to call Mom's oncologist to see if this was normal. They refused and shipped my mother off to the ER. The ER doctor called her oncologist and was told yes its normal for someone going thru chemo. So at 1am, ER shipped her back to Wilton Manors. The BIGGEST mistake!! On the 3rd day, my mother was nausea and throwing up from the chemo. We asked repeatedly, please give my mother Zofran to stop the nausea. It took the nurse HOURS to do this then she crushed it up in apple sauce and was shoving it in her mouth. Apple sauce was running out of her mouth because she couldn't swallow. We asked for the injection but we were ignored!! As the night went on, Mom got worse and finally 911 was called and she was rushed to the ER at Holy Cross Hospital. Mom had aspirated pneumonia and was in septic shock! She needed a blood transfusion and blood pressure was 95/48. Mom spent 2 weeks at the hospital and now is at home. I can never trust another rehab/skilled nursing facility again! These nurses/aides at Wilton Manors are HEARTLESS!!! They allowed my mother to lay in piss diapers until she got rashes. She would call nurses repeatedly that she had to go to the bathroom. They would come in to Mom's room and say "I will be back, but never came back!" Probably because they didn't want to deal with it. They never checked on my mom night or day. Nighttime nurses were the worst. Too busy on their phones and when I asked for help with my mother, they didn't even look up from their phones. Administrators should really be doing spot checks on their staff, especially during the night. Something needs to be changed!!! Mom's bloody sheet and throw up bin was left on the floor and I complained about that to Mark, nursing supervisor. He couldn't believe it but you would think HE would have handled it. NOPE!! It was still there the day after my mom was admitted to the hospital when I went to pick up Mom's belongings. My sister said I should have left it on the nurses station!! I went right to the facility the day my mother nearly died and spoke with Raquel, Assistant Director of Nursing. I told her everything I stated here. She didn't seem surprised at all so this only tells me she is aware of what goes on at this facility and this is what happens here!! Now, I wonder if the administrators knows what happened to my mother and how she was treated??? Did Raquel voice her concerns?? The sad part: my 87 year old mother is VERY aware whats going on around her. She IS with it!!! She told EVERYONE at Holy Cross Hospital the way Wilton Manors nurses & aides treated her! Remember Wilton Manors.....what if this was YOUR mother How would you feel if your mother was treated like this?? SHAME ON YOU!!

This place is very unorganized from the way they wash clothes and mix up one patient to another clothing is ridiculous. Most of the nurses aren’t aware of lot of things. Administration always say they are working on things with no accomplishments. By the way there cameras doesn’t hold any pass recordings only live recordings which I feel is very unsafe. Just horrible no one calls to give update of my father process in physical therapy until I started yelling at them. Also they nurse left my father pamper filled with urine to the point his pants was soaked .This place is just upside down and this isnt my dad first time going into a rehabilitation center but by far this was just horrible

They decided to restrict my brother's liquid and food intake to prevent fluid buildup around his heart but what really, they were doing was restricting because he is a big guy. he ended up with UTI, severe dehydration, delirium, fell out of bed and fractured his elbow, resulting in a full arm cast, huge knot on his head. They tried to say they called and told me but what they had done was call and leave a message to call and when I did, nobody answered the phone. Nurse supervisor earlier in day at first pleasant but when asked questions refused to give me information as she said I was not his initial contact although I am his power of attorney, and only family. Please don't put a family member there unless you have someone that can be there constantly. We had a friend that was there a lot as I am out of state and that still was not enough.

I move forward from my past and have been very successful and still am. I’ve worked for only 5 companies the past 4 years and every single one loved me and there million/billion dollar companies. Please let me join the team and I won’t let you down. Hire me just so I can provide for more for my baby’s and wife they deserve it.

Experiencia negativa: My mother entered the rehab section of Wilton Manors after a hospitalization. Prior to her hospitalization, she was mobile with a rolling three wheeled walker and was for the most part, independently functioning in her apartment in an Independent Living adult living community. The message on the recording on the answering machine stresses that they strive to return their clients to their formal level of function if not better. I found this to be very interesting because it was at least four weeks before a single person on the therapeutic side of the facility contacted me to discuss a "care plan". Therefore, they had no idea what her previous level of function was. It was four weeks into her stay that the admission department finally emailed me the admission paperwork. It was the last week of her stay that a Dr. spoke with me about signing a DNR and my oral authorization to withhold CPR, etc. was taken over the phone. However, I was advised that I needed to pick up and sign the form the next time I visited. I visited every day and I did walk down to the nursing office at least twice to ask for it, and no one could find it. However, the day before my poor mother was discharged, the nursing supervisor called me to chastise me for not signing it. At that point, it was decided that I would sign it when she was discharged. However, when she was discharged, there was no such paperwork provided. They could not get my mother out of the door fast enough. There also were big issues getting the discharge paperwork to the assisted living my mother was moving into. It was requested days in advance but apparently, only the first page of the fax came in. When the Assisted living called to inquire, their calls were not returned. I finally ended up hand delivering the paperwork myself which led to a delay in my mother getting her regular meds set up at the assisted living. This is what I was trying to prevent. Follow-up phone calls were not successful but in the end I had to hand carry the paperwork to the assisted living. All of this is evidence in my opinion of poor communication and administration, but is nothing compared to the much more serious issue. That is, the nurses did not listen to and respond to my concerns as a loving daughter who knew her mother much better than they did. On a previous occasion several weeks earlier, I had reported to the nursing staff that my mother was mentally altered and I suspected she had a UTI. I spoke to three different nurses on three shifts. It was over the weekend. Finally on Monday I reached the nursing supervision and she then went in a looked at my mother herself, contacted the Dr. and my mother went to the ER with a UTI and came back with a Foley catheter. We proceeded with the discharge because it was clear they were not interested in listening to me. My mother went back into the hospital just over 24 hours later, never to recover. Her "raging" UTI turned into Sepsis and then she caught Covid in the hospital and she died. If she had gotten treatment sooner, the results may have been very different. I blame myself for leaving her at Wilton Manors, I thought we were doing the right thing, but it was not. I will be trying to forgive myself for this for the rest of my life. Note: in my review, I clearly noted that my mother had died. Yet, the response by the facility stated that they were hoping my mother recovered. This clearly indicates that they didn't even take the time to fully read what I stated. This is indicative of the disregard for my concerns during my mother's last days in their facility. I knew she had a UTI. I told 3 different nurses my concern and got nothing but lip service. I should have called 911 myself and I will never forgive myself for that. My mother left this place and was in the hospital within 24 hours with a severe UTI, and then contracted covid pneumonia in the hospital and passed. No one from Wilton Manors has ever contacted me.

Experiencia negativa: I went to go give my grandparent extra clothes on Sunday 9/13. They supposedly have no visitation during the pandemic so we walked to the front door and called like the instructions on the door said to. Rang the door bell, knocked. No answer. No one can to the door until the alarm was set off. We stood for 7 minutes before a girl walked to the door after someone walked past without acknowledging our presence. She stood there for a couple seconds, then walked away without saying anything. So we tried the door again and IT OPENED. No front desk personnel, NO SECURITY. We walked up to a woman looking at us from down the hall watching us trying to figure out where my grandparent's room was. She took our temperature and told us where the wing was that we could find the room in. She asked us if anyone was at the front when we walked in and we said no, THEN she took the temperatures. We hurried to our grandparent's room, seeing the awful condition of the building, the ill-prepared awful smelling food, Grown men who cannot care for themselves on their FUTONS in their underwear. These are humans and they have dignity The different smells of food and urine and Lord knows what else had my gag reflexes fighting We find my grandparent in pain and confused without proper positioning for an 80 YEAR-OLD with a BROKEN RIB. My grandparent is lucid and witty but whatever meds they gave her had her hallucinating! Finally 2 nurses came in telling us we couldn't be in here and asking us how we got in. I ignored them and tried to tend to my grandparent before I saw 6 women telling us we have to go. Why is there no MALE SECURITY? WHY CAN ANYONE BE ALLOWED IN WITHOUT AN ESCORT? Why is it SO STINKY, MOLDY, AND IMPROPERLY KEPT? WHY DOES THE STAFF SEEM TO NOT GIVE A DAMN? TEAR IT DOWN AND ERECTED A REAL EXCUSE FOR A REHAB HOME. Grandparent is getting out as soon as Monday hits because it cannot be done today unfortunately. If you love your grandparents. NEVER PUT THEM HERE!

Experiencia fantástica: I had called this facility recently while searching for a rehab facility for my father. The individuals that I spoke with from admissions were very helpful in explaining how everything works to include insurance, with great detail. I was very impressed with their knowledge and insight to my fathers needs. It’s difficult to find great customer care in the South Florida area. Will be following up with them in the very near future.

Experiencia negativa: My friend is in your facility and it has been nothing short of a nightmare for her. Aides that aren’t answering her calls to put her back in bed and now she’s developed a bed sore. Aides that are rough with her and bang her already fragile body. A majority of aides that have no bedside manner whatsoever. She has been told by her internist that she would be seeing the DON and a social worker for weeks now. This is unacceptable and I have no idea how you have such good reviews. I live in the North East, but if I had the means to fly down there, things would be very different. My friend has the kindest heart and she has been nice through all of this, but she is tired of the reglect. If I have to personally hire an attorney for her, I will. The therapists have been wonderful and she does like her internist, but she is not receiving proper medical care and attention.

Experiencia positiva: Sometimes things don’t appear what they seem, I have had several friends and a family member at this facility . It appears small on the outside but is huge on the inside ….a single floor facility. The facility is clean and the staff is awesome. PRE COVID …there was more continuity’s of care with nurses . I would see the same staff and like everywhere …..90 percent of them were great . The food IS DEFINITELY IN NEED OF IMPROVEMENT BUT it seems they are trying to remedy that . Now there are more agency nurses working at the facility . The agency nurses are good but it not like staff. The physical therapists are phenomenal and the director of nursing is extremely on point. I mostly have had dealings with the Rapid Recovery Unit. It is very gay friendly. The male nurse in RRU that I have had direct dealings with is extremely compassionate and caring . My husband was in the facility for several weeks and much to my surprise the nurse called after we were home for a week to say hello and check up on my husband and myself . It’s not often that they give you some place five stars unless certain things really stand out. I would highly recommend this facility for numerous reasons .

Experiencia fantástica: I initially was introduced to Wilton Manors Health and Rehabilitation Center as a healthcare advocate for my grandmother where she became a patient and eventually a resident. I was so impressed with the level of care and how well she was treated as well as her progress, that it compelled me to want to represent and be a part of the team at Wilton Manors. It is now four years later and I am still working with this amazing team and family at Wilton manors Health and rehab. The facility is clean, well-kept, the administrator follows rigorous guidelines to protect the health and well being of the staff and patients, not to mention the exceptional nursing and CNA team. I am proud to work with this amazing group and would highly recommend to anyone in need for rehabilitation and or nursing home care.

All of the staff including the therapists are supportive and motivating. Really felt like they had my best results in mind. Management exceptional! Would highly recommend.

The therapy team is very caring and works hard to enable the patients to achieve their best. The rehab gym is spacious and well equipped. Would highly recommend it for any of my loved ones.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a dialysis patient for years at Davita Dialysis Center , my condition made it so I had to stay for a period of time in Wilton Manors Rehab . I was skeptical about changing to their In house dialysis center .When you’ve been going to a Center for 5 plus years , the other Dialysis patients become like your family. I was extremely reluctant to change . I quickly found out that I had made the right choice. My dialysis nurse Joe was a great listener ….he was friendly and competent . He really helped me through a hard time, as well as many of the others did both in the dialysis center in the rapid recovery unit. The Dialysis center was great , it was so convenient not having to take a bus or being driven three times a week for my dialysis. The staff was extremely caring and compassionate. I was glad to be able to get All the care I need it in one place. My wife had just passed away prior to me going into the facility, they were very compassionate and helping me with my grief at that time, I was able to have my own particular foods that I like as per my diet is a dialysis patient, that was the only thing that I could not say anything good about. The food was atrocious the kitchen staff was extremely rude. Thankfully I have friends and was able to keep when I need it on hand near my bedside and in the refrigerator that they had four patients. If I had to do it again I would certainly pick Wilton Manors health and Rehabilitation center.

Experiencia negativa: Rehabilitation assistance is more favorable at this location than long term care. My eighty-eight year old mother whose ability to speak and see were limited was robbed while in this facility for long term care. Although the administration was made aware of the robbery a suitable resolution did not appear to be of importance. In addition, the quality of care diminished once the transition from rehabilitation to long term care occurred and the majority of the staff appeared to lack sincere concern for patients. During the daytime hours, long term care patients at risk of falling are placed in a room at the end of one of the wings under the supervision of one employee. On one occasion there were 16 patients in this room which was not properly ventilated. A patient was seen removing various foods from the plate of another who was sitting at the same table but the facility employee neglected to intervene. The room was too crowded and included too many patients for one person to effectively supervise. During my mother's last days the severity of her health appeared to have been overlooked therefore she was not sent to the hospital which resulted in her passing. Hurt and very disappointed! This location is not recommended for long term care at all!

Experiencia fantástica: I had called this facility recently while searching for a rehab facility for my father. The individuals that I spoke with from admissions were very helpful in explaining how everything works to include insurance, with great detail. I was very impressed with their knowledge and insight to my fathers needs. It’s difficult to find great customer care in the South Florida area. Will be following up with them in the very near future.
