Experiencia negativa: Worst rehab experience ever had, this place is where people go to die. I was seen by five physical therapist and never got any help. They cram you into a room with several other patients and ignore you. Terrible place, I was happy to leave and go home

Experiencia fantástica: This facility took exceptional care of my aunt after her surgery. The staff are wonderful and caring people and you can see that they love what they do. They treated my aunt with respect and compassion during her healing process. Olga and Olivia are wonderful ! I highly recommend this place !

Experiencia negativa: Please do not choose this location for your loved ones! The experience we had with our mom was horrible and the staff does not care! You’ll be provided excuses which they feel are acceptable. The bed call systems did not work, they said they were fixing however we left before we could verify! It’s a one way system and it’s turned off. Not all employees, but there are employees who do not care! Move on and find a location that cares!!!!! No need to discuss read your State of California audit and you all know what you are doing wrong. The Director puts in a show and her team not all of them do not care for clients it’s all about the money! Beware call buzzer do not work there’s now two way communication. Loved ones not mine are restricted to the bed and no one responds when call buttons are pressed! Find a place that has caregivers that care. I know it’s a difficult job.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was here at Gordon Lane care center the staff took very good care of her they treated her like family. She was very happy at Gordon Lane she didn’t want to ever leave. She had been at other nursing homes but none of them compared to Gordon Lane it’s clean doesn’t smell the staff work here because they want to not because they have to they truly have love for the residents. My mom always said her call light was answered right away by all staff. My mom passed recently and the staff were heart broken even her doctor Dr Hsieh’s son's. All staff really touched our hearts with the care they gave my mom from laundry staff all the way to the administrator. Which my mom appreciated. Thank you to all staff at Gordon Lane for making my moms stay home. My sisters and I recommend Gordon Lane to everyone who wants there loved one safe and treated like family. Thank you to all the staff at Gordon Lane for taking excellent care of my mom.

Experiencia fantástica: My father is currently a patient at this facility recovering from a spinal fracture. I can't say enough about the care and all of the staff that have cared for him. The facility is always clean, the staff were all extremely friendly, attentive, caring and professional. They continually keep me up to date and informed on my fathers progress and always answer any and all questions I ask. I feel very comfortable and at ease knowing that my father is getting the best care by everyone involved!

Experiencia fantástica: My elderly mother fell ill and had to get transported to an assisted living center. After calling around, we found Gordon Lane in the City of Fullerton. The staff at Gordon Lane were amazing, attentive, extremely patient, and the facility was extremely clean. The nurses were right on time for medication and checking constantly with the patients. The nutritionists in the kitchen knew the perfect meal for each patients dietary needs. The main administration Sadaf was an angle and she facilitated everything for us. Thank you to the whole team at Gordon Lane. You guys are mazing. I recommend this center to anyone who needs an assisted living center for their loved ones.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here is wonderful and very helpful. My loved one and I have always been put first and I noticed people who don't have loved ones with them, are equally treated they make sure they are not alone and make sure they aren't just laying around. They take them to fun activities and keep them company, and really prioritize their patients. We've had such a pleasure of meeting Eric he's a wonderful caregiver there and we would greatly recommend him.

All the staff from admin , supervisors, nurses and CNA's are so caring and kind and doing a great job with all the patients and for my mom. She calls it home. Experiencia negativa: I worry for my grandma at this place. When I went to ask for help because my Grandma couldn't breathe, I was ignored by alot of the workers that just stood around talking and they would walk away when I would try to ask them something. Then when one of them finally acknowledged me, they told me they would send someone to my Grandmas room but never did. After 5min. I went and finally found a nice lady to help.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had the chance to get to know the team at GLCC over the past several days while visiting my ailing father and I continue to be impressed by the level of genuine care and professionalism from all the staff members I've come in contact with. I can't remeber everyone's name, but here are just a few I'd mention: the administrator, Sadaf is most dedicated, gracious and involved, and she got me speaking wirh my father's PCP in no time. All of the physical therapy team Jen, Krista, Kristle... and the rest have already helped to improve my father's mobility despite their temporary limitations on facilities, they make no excuese. CNA's Rosa, Pedro, Martha are most caring and kind, and smiling through most difficult moments of care! The lead nutrilionist, Bahareh was so concerned and reaourcedul in helping figure out how to help my father's weight loss issue. The social work designee Teresa is always accessible and helped us assured everyone would participate in the care updates and reporting. There are many more examples, but you get the idea. This is hard work that this team puts in every day, and the culture here is very positive, and the care is solid. I am grateful that my mother and sister found this facility for my father. It is not home, but it's the next best thing during this difficult time.
Experiencia negativa: Scary place, I went to visit someone, patients screaming 'help me!' ... a real house of horror.. 'One flew over the cookoos nest' the staff steals the patients stuff. Clothes, cell phones...

Experiencia negativa: If I could give it less than one star I would. My mother was sent here to complete an IV antibiotic. Due to their lack of care, my mother deteriorated, was dropped causing her skin to rip, and developed MRSA due to lack of hand washing. MRSA spread rampant in that place and ultimately left my mom too weak to fight even after we left. Several years later, I am still making sure that people have fair amounts of warning of this place.
Experiencia fantástica: I want to give special recognition to this facility. My uncle was recently discharged from here. It was his first time in a skilled nursing facility for short term care, so it was a hard decision to make. After my experience, I’m glad I did. He was assigned to Dr. Dolouie and he provided such great care to him; I also want to recognize CNA Blanca, Victoria, charge nurse Harman who were also wonderful to him. We had such a pleasant experience after being there for several weeks. Also, I want to recognize the rehab team with Ryan, Justin, and Jen who really helped improve his condition. Gordon Lane Care center has a wonderful team and nurses.

Her dedication is evident as she goes above and beyond to assist our family during a challenging time. The front desk receptionist, Edith, always greets us with a warm smile and offers unwavering support. Her friendly demeanor creates a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts us at ease. The nurses at Gordon Lane are incredible, and it's difficult to mention them all by name. Each one of them goes above and beyond to ensure that every patient is happy and comfortable. Their dedication to providing top-notch care is truly commendable. When our mother contracted COVID-19, we faced the difficult decision of not being able to care for her at home. They played a crucial role in making the transition easier for our mother, who faced a language barrier. Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. My mom was admitted after having knee replacement surgery. For the first 3 days she was there, the nurses were not giving her the proper medication she needed. Imagine that?!? My mom is diabetic, has high blood pressure and her meals were filled with carbs…. AND the proper medication was not being administered. When I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty things changed. There are 3 people to a room separated by a thin curtain. In the end, the issues were resolved and after me jumping in, my mom was treated better but I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you plan to be an aggressive advocate for your loved one.

Experiencia fantástica: Hello I must share my experience here at Gordon Lane it’s my first time , I am getting ready to go home the staff was very attentive, showed great care in all areas including the doctors , nurses , and the therapist. If I had to recommend this facility to my family or friends I would. I have received nothing but good care and proper treatment. Experiencia fantástica: My Mom has been in different Nursing Facility for the last 2 years, on May this year she was in hospital she stay there for 2 weeks and was really bad service then the doctor contact me said it's no hope for your Mom we'll send her to Hospice. on May 27th at 9:30pm the Hospice company they moved her to Gordon Lane Care Center, after the Ambulance left the nurse told me we don't accept Hospice so we'll keep her until morning. In the morning I meet with Hospice person and the most wonderful and Great Staff form Gordon Lane. Mrs. Sadaf Roodbaei and Mrs. Teresa Villegas, They told me if you need your Mom to continue in Hospice we have to move her out. BUT if you want to let us give a tray we'll keep her, I feel I'm taking to Angels with great hope. NOW I can say they save my Mom life. every day she getting better. I can't Thank the two Angels Mrs. Sadaf & Mrs. Teresa and all the staff for they great service and kindness. Also how clean and safe this facility. I need also to Thank Olga Soto and CNR Marisa also KK Million of thanks to: Mrs. SADAF and all her staff :) I Love you all so much GLUSM ( GOD LOVE YOU SO MUCH )

Experiencia fantástica: Gordon Lane has been a big help for my mom. She was at a board and care earlier and the difference in her demeanor since coming to the facility has been night and day. She is well taken care of and has started talking again. Olga Soto worked really hard to make sure my mother got everything she needed. You can tell that she and the rest of the staff want to help those that need it. Amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: My 92 year old Father has been receiving great care at Gordon Lane Care Center since October of 2022. We are beyond grateful to have found Gordon Lane, as they offer 24/7 care with TLC for those who need care, like my Dad. From the caring CNAs' and loving nursing staff to The Nutritionist, Speach Therapist, Physical Therapists, the physicians, Social Services, Activities Staff, supportive Administration, laundry, etc....my Dad is receiving an army of care which puts my mind at ease. He is truly cared for, and he loves the staff here. The facility is supper clean and has friendly and caring staff. There are other wonderful guests that my Dad has found friendship with there. If I could describe this facility with one word, it's that they are compassionate, and put the patient first. I can not thank the management and the staff at Gordon Lane enough for being there for my Dad....every day. God bless you all.

Experiencia fantástica: My dad recently had a stroke and we needed to find a nursing center for him to get on a more intensive rehab program. Upon visiting the facility, we immediately noticed the family-like environment. The entire staff was very amicable with one another and looked genuinely happy to be there. Their interactions with their patients were genuine and caring. Even though we didn’t love the idea of my dad staying at a nursing facility, we immediately knew we wanted to go with Gordon Lane. When my dad was first admitted here, he was aphasic (unable to speak) and right side was flaccid. He spent 22 days here in total. When he was discharged home, he was walking unassisted and was able to have conversations. We attribute a large part of his success to the rehab team and the nurses who cared for him. We are grateful for the administrative team for making the experience so seamless. We received exemplary care at Gordon Lane and would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: My grandmother was a patient at Gordon Lane for rehabilitation after a lengthy hospital visit. She praised Gordon Lane for their care and meals supplied during her stay. My major (and still unresolved) issue with Gordon Lane deals with missing personal property. We were instructed to supply 5 days of clothing upon my grandmother's admission, to which we did. We were assured, upon a personal property inventory being conducted, that all of her clothing would be marked with her name for safe keeping. Despite supplying her own clothing, every day that I saw her, she was wearing clothing that belonged to other people, despite the fact that her packed bag was in a closet mere feet from her bed. Upon her discharge, when reviewing the personal property inventory completed during her admission, we found that half of her clothing was missing. Gordon Lane, despite assuring us that her property would be marked, never did so, and therefore I was instructed to go into their laundry facilities are sort through clothes to try to find the missing pieces, to no avail. One of the employees even suggested I go through every patient's closet throughout the facility to search for the missing items, which I immediately declined and said that would be a major invasion of other patients' privacies. We left Gordon Lane without recovering any missing pieces. Upon my grandmother returning home, I found that she was wearing socks that didn't belong to her, and were also clearly labeled with another patient's name. It seems even if her property was clearly marked as Gordon Lane promised to do, it still wouldn't have mattered. We have yet to have Gordon Lane rectify the situation and find ourselves spending unnecessary money replacing numerous items of clothing. I still don't understand if my grandmother was never placed in the clothing we provided with her, how it made its way out of her packed and zipped bag and into someone else's hands. I would highly caution anyone considering Gordon Lane to be extremely careful with whatever property they send in with their loved ones.

Experiencia negativa: my mom has been at Garden Lane for about a month and her phone in her room doesnt work. we have told them so many times that we just gave up. the family has tried to get a hold of my mom and they cant. so basically my mom has not had her phone fixed for about a month she has one more month and she still doesnt have a phone very sad they cant even have a phone fixed. i cant imagen how many patient dont have a phone working in there room. i feel im being denied a simple phone call or they dont want patient calling families.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been impressed with the quality of care and compassion of the nurses, staff, and physical therapists at Gordon Lane. It is never easy to see a loved one decline in the last years of their life and have health problems that require around-the-clock care. No facility is perfect, but my family and I have decided that they are doing a great job taking care of our father, and he thinks so too.

Experiencia negativa: My friend is a patient there at this moment. She did not get a shower 1 week and 4 days. She has had her bed changed 1 time in over a week. They won't get a doctor in to see my friend. She cant breath and they ignore her. I beg you to find another place to go. I am calling the health dept in the morning. Horrible staff. Horrible conditions This was written 2 days ago Now my friend has checked her self out and ended up in the Er. She has pneumonia if she could have seen a doctor and been on antibiotics this wouldn't have happened. This is one of those places that just keep the beds full for the money this is not a place to go to get well. That's my opinion
Experiencia fantástica: My father in law was there for one night due to him having to return to the hospital the following day. Based on the one night experience he was treated great. Then I spoke to the admissions coordinator who’s name is Olga. She was the most informative person about services they offer as no one could have explained it better. Too bad we didn’t get to experience much to give u more further explanation to care from there. But if u have any questions to the facility definitely ask for Olga she is the best. Good luck to all. My recommendation please do an inventory of ur live ones belongings in there presence or don’t drop it off until you can do it together with social worker so there is no misunderstandings.

Blanca , Oscar , Victor are wonderful CNAs. Thank you all for what you do for not only me but the rest of the patients.
Experiencia fantástica: Gordon Lane Care Center is a feel at home Nursing Facility. I was pleased to be apart of this team. They welcome every patient, family, and employee with open arms. The nurses monitor patients tentatively and staff is always helpful ! A highlight of this facility is how well staff takes care of patients in need. If there is any issues or concerns from families they address it immediately. I couldn't ask for a better experience at Gordon Lane Care Center.

Experiencia negativa: My mom was there for a few weeks and suffered from anxiety while she was there. I'm glad we moved her to a new nursing home. The place, care and food is just simply depresing.
Experiencia positiva: My mom has asked not to wear someone else’s socks and been ignored. Bed controls are not within reach. Water is not where she is able to reach...have asked to get her you bedside commode for training for home—after three days still not started. They do not use her walker to get up, they pull her to a stand...mom has bilateral rotator cuff tears. This is not healthy transition to home.
Experiencia positiva: The rehab dept was outstanding, the LVN's were great too along with the CNAs. But the food was mostly lousy, but they do exchanges.
Experiencia negativa: My husband was there for 6 days last May, 2016 and ended up with a staph infection in his surgery site. Care is non-existent, no organization, chaos run a muck. Do not go there!
Experiencia negativa: This place is so unprofessional my husband grandma was at this facility for a couple of days. Wen I went to visit her the room was scorching hot no A.C my husbands grandma was sweating. I asked two nurses thier if they came turn on the A.C with an attitude they responded back to me stating it was broken. The nurse name was sharel something like that. My husbands grandma clothes were all on the floor and wen I asked for a bag to put her clothes in the bag thier excuse was that my husbands grandma didn't want her clothes washed!!! Okay!! At least put the clothes in the bag!!!! So I put the clothes in the bag. Then I asked what time breakfast was served. They said it would be served at 7:30 wen everybody else was already eating. Then to top it off thier was two nurses chit-chatin away standing thier doing a whole lote of nothen. And talking in thier language. How rude!!!! I look at the picture on this site and its not even that close to looking like the picture. I asked for coffee for my husbands grandma and they just looked at me like. WHAT DO YOU WANT??? The beds wires are all chipped just ready to get electricuted. Thier not enough plugs for the fan or the furbulator to be used. Just disorganized. Really uncaring nurses the elderly just looked at me like plea see get me out of here. And thier were nurses taken a break out on the lobby lookinget at me like what are you doing her so early. And the cleaners were moping the trash along with with a wet mob in sanitary. WoW!!!! Every thing thier is so not updated

Experiencia negativa: I have been a nurse for over 25 years. Went to see a friend who is a resident here post stroke (she is fairly young for this facility at 59 and is completely coherent). Worst place I've seen in many years. My friend had been lying in wet (urine) bed for over 2 hours. They don't come for hours when client hits call light, causing residents to urinate and defecate on themselves. She had same socks(same exact pair) since admission 12 DAYS ago! Today was her first bath in 12 days! I am reporting this facility to the ombudsman tomorrow morning. Do NOT send your family here. There's a reason this place has ONE star...and that's generous. These are only a FEW of the MANY examples I witnessed when visiting today. I will be back daily to ensure my friend's proper care until she can transfer out of this hell hole.
