However after a few weeks of sessions the pain gradually lessened and after a few weeks more of treatment, eventually went away along with regaining full mobility. I worked with Patrick, and for the past 12 weeks he has done an amazing job at helping me reach my goals in the recovery process. He is very supportive, compassionate, funny, and informative. I liked how he made our sessions fun and not stressful. Dr. Rob was also a great person to work with during this journey as he sent me stretches/ exercises to do at home for knee strengthening. Overall I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend going here!

I had a torn ACL for about 20 years and finally decided to have surgery to repair it. Before surgery, I walked into the facility and met Dr. Rob. I was nervous and he gave me the feeling I was in the right place to get back to normal. Post-surgery, I was visiting twice a week for 5 months. Right away I felt I was in great hands. My biggest takeaway was education. I was not only given the exercises to regain strength, but each step I was given the education to understand why we were doing things and what to look forward to. Whenever I was faced with challenges, there was a clear plan in place. I'm forever thankful to Dr. Rob, Makayla, John, and Patrick. You all gave me a second chance at life doing physical activities I was once limited from doing.

Experiencia fantástica: Just finish with physical therapy recovery from rotator cuff surgery. I like the option for the 7:00 am appointment. Rob always approach my injury systematically. I like his explanation and process of the physical exercise. It helps me to understand my body. I also enjoy working with his assistances. Chris provided great recovery therapy and his approach on strengthening and exercises. I finished with Ryan who provided excellent technical explanation on the strengthen exercise. He emphasized proper pasture and head position. Ryan provided feedbacks during strengthen exercises.

Experiencia fantástica: Was only there for a few sessions because of a slight problem with my knee. Dr Robert was patient in helping identify the problem and explaining how we might improve it. Subsequent sessions usually began with some kind of manual work (e.g. massage, pressure points) followed by exercises to strengthen the tendons and muscles relevant to my injury. Dr. Rob helped me figure out exactly where the injury was located, what caused it, and what I needed to do to fix it. Over the course of a few visits the pain progressively lessened. Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy I found this group. I was having severe TMJ pain following a dental surgery and had a hard time finding someone. They responded to my inquiry within the day and I was seen for a consult the following week. They created a treatment plan that was affordable and worked very well for me and they were responsive by text for questions/schedule changes. The exercises they assigned for home between visits were very doable and the weekly sessions helped me get back to normal in an impressive timeframe. He personally takes care of each and every patient, and change their exercises periodically. He is also very knowledgeable in this subject and if there was an option for 10 starts, I would give him that.

I was going there to strengthen my lower extremity’s due to some difficulties getting up from the floor. They listen closely to your concerns and craft a work out plan to help out. During the course of my treatment, I developed vertigo and the helped me with that as well. I’m on the road to recovery on all fronts and can’t thanks therm enough. Experiencia fantástica: I was diagnosed with Graves Disease back in 2020 and struggled with fatigue and muscle weakness due to a prolonged period of inactivity. I came to Dr. Rob experiencing chronic pain in various areas without any idea as to how to address these. He worked with me, remaining very sympathetic and present throughout my time with him and his team, to identify and explore my pain points. Today, I walked out of there with little to no pain and more self awareness as to how to mitigate the discomfort that I had been experiencing. With my newfound knowledge, I believe I can proactively work to prevent further exacerbating the areas. I found Dr. Rob to be sincere and adept at his practice. What more can any of us ask for? I would refer him to any friends or family needing his services and will definitely be coming back if/when needed. (I have referred him to my mother and she was very content with her experience as well)

As a procrastinator who is poor at time management & completing assigned homework / exercises to do independently, I especially appreciated never being shamed for my inconsistency which resulted in a few set backs. Over Christmas break I was able to book him a few appts with Physical Therapy Specialists Orange County. We saw Dr. Rob and he was great. He asked lots of questions to get an understanding of what movements my son was doing in sports and what could be causing the pain. He suggested some physical therapy exercises that would help strengthen the smaller, supporting muscles around my son’s elbows and shoulders. He emailed videos of the exercises and my son did them at home. Within a week he was noticing a big difference and had less pain. The treatment for my back was phenomenal I was on my feet back to my normal exercise routine and daily life routine in a matter of weeks his staff at that time were the most knowledgeable and kind and understanding people I’ve ever met at a doctors office. I just finished up physical therapy on my shoulder with Dr. Inglis where I had a minor tear and his staff with all their knowledge in six weeks got me out of pain with full range of motion not having to have surgery at all back into the gym and my normal daily routine in literally weeks. Experiencia fantástica: I was experiencing tremendous pain in my right foot. When the pandemic shut everything down I walked more than 3 miles a day for exercise. My feet weren’t very happy. PT Specialists worked with me and counseled me and within one month my pain level went from 9-10 to 1-2. Smiling again!

I had sciatic nerve on my back and tennis elbow. He constantly changed the treatments. He taught me different excercises to strengthen different groups of muscles. Karina handles appointments and other paperwork with skills you don’t encounter in most MD’s offices. NO paperwork hassles takes a big load off the mind of a person. The other young assistants, Esther, Laurel, Lara, and Raquel have the same combination of technical skills and emollient personalities that resulted in a demonstrable 80% improvement in a serious case of nerve blockage in my foot. Experiencia fantástica: After several months of enduring pain due to an ankle injury and then limited mobility due to the necessary surgery, Robert was able to manipulate the joint muscles to bring back maximum agility. All the exercises, while hard at the start, were very effective in taking me to the next level. The constant encouragement and actual results from increasingly loading up my atrophied muscles have brought me back to my personal best. I would not have pushed myself to the level that Robert and his team did. They are the package of total professionalism in the realm of Physical Therapy.

Experiencia negativa: I've had the same surgery three times. Once on my left hip and twice on my right hip (a second time to fix what was done incorrectly the first time). So by now, I definitely know what I am and am NOT supposed to do after surgery. I went to Physical Therapy Specialists because they had good reviews, but unfortunately I did not have a great experience while I was a patient here. My first appointment was very odd, to say the least. I've gone through PT three times now with several offices, and I've never had treatment like that provided to me at this office, which in and of itself, is fine. However, where things started to go wrong is when the doctor, Robert Inglis, instructed me to do things that are specifically forbidden to do in my protocol provided by my surgeon (no straight leg lifting/knees to chest for 6 weeks). When I asked him if he had read my protocol he said he had NOT READ IT. Everything didn't feel quite right after that first appointment, but I decided to give it one more opportunity and go for a second appointment. This proved to be disastrous too. They would come into my room and tell me a bunch of exercise names (3,4, or 5 in a row) and expect me to remember how to do every exercise and then just left me to my own devices. I could continue on, and name everything that went wrong, but I will refrain. So trusting my better judgement, I left the office that day, and texted my SURGEON about what had been going on. He urged me to see another physical therapist as soon as possible. This morning I received an email from Robert Inglis informing me that I should have told him my concerns, (I told him during our first appointment and also told the receptionist when she called to make more appointments yesterday) so he sent me a long email detailing how he's not a "traditional physical therapist" and his "years of training allow him to do things differently" and that "the protocol the doctor sends are more of guidelines than specific rules." I've worked so hard to get healthy again, to take care of my hip after surgery and do everything right. Since visiting Physical Therapy Specialists/Robert Inglis 6 days ago, I have been in a lot of pain. My hip has hurt more than it has during all of recovery. I'm so discouraged and disappointed.

They get injuries playing competitive sports and usually they are feeling better walking out. My son pulled a muscle 2 days before state cup and he got him to activate different muscles so he wasn’t in pain anymore and went on to play the entire weekend. They are easy to schedule with and affordable if you don’t have insurance.

This guy really knows the muscular & skeletal systems. He personally worked on me until I was back playing Bball again. Great staff very flexible to your schedule. I had a frozen shoulder with lots of pain and not a lot of hope of playing tennis again, but after seeing Dr. Ingrids, he fixed me all up and I've returned to my game! Experiencia fantástica: I've been seeing Dr. Rob Ingles for a few months now and I couldn't be more pleased with the results so far. I've seen quite a few practitioners in the past for my low back pain but no one has been able to provide long lasting relief from pain. Within the first session Rob was able to pinpoint specific areas related to my pain to start addressing and the therapy along with the exercises have been working very well! The facility is very nice, fairly large, and has a large amount of equipment to use while completing the exercises. Rob and the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They also use a variety of techniques such as muscle stim machines, laser therapy, and kinesio tape, as well as hands on work. He is very perceptive and involved with his patients and works with you to create goals to work on. I workout at CrossFit Meta down the street and one of my goals was to be able to lift without pain. Instead of telling me not to workout for 6 months, Rob agreed with me and confidently stated that his goal for me is to deadlift without pain (which I haven't been able to do for almost 2 years). I really appreciated this about him and would definitely recommend him to anyone, especially athletes dealing with injuries. So far, the therapy has been challenging yet effective and I'm excited to see how I continue to improve over time.

Experiencia fantástica: I had dislocated my knee and went to see Dr. Inglis. I couldn't even walk and was in so much pain. I originally went to a orthopedic surgeon who wanted to perform surgery and even then couldn't promise it would be a success. A friend of mine told me about Dr. Inglis and the wonders he did for her so I made an appointment. After my first assessment he told me he didn't think surgery was needed. He explained it was a stability issue with my MCL. After about a month of therapy I was as good a new. This guy really is a miracle worker. I've done everything he's told me and so far so good. My experience with Dr Bob was amazing not to mention his friendly professional staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been working with Dr. Inglis for about 7 years now. When I first went to see Dr. Inglis, I had extreme daily upper back pain for a couple of years. I have scoliosis in a couple of places along my spine which means I need ongoing treatments and occasional tuneups. I have been to other physical therapists and chiropractors that are in my insurance network, none of whom compare to Dr. Inglis's knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. Any pain relief I had from other practitioners was very short lived as in 1 to 2 hours. Then the pain would return. Dr. Inglis knows exactly which muscles to target to get everything back into place. As long as I keep up with my exercises, my pain is very minimal. I highly recommend Dr. Inglis to anyone who needs physical therapy, especially to those who have tried getting treatment from other therapists or other treatment modalities with no success or those who have given up and are just living with the pain. Give Dr. Inglis a try. You'll be happy you did!

Experiencia fantástica: This team of physical therapist are the best not only have I been to see them but they have also treated my daughter who has developmental disabilities. They treated her well and got her therapy done on her level. Was very appreciative of the staffs demeanor. Would recommend this place to any and all who may be looking. We saw Steven and would highly recommend him. This is a 2 thumbs up place per my daughter.

I have been a very complicated case and they have helped me improve and stay positive through a very difficult process. The therapists have done a great job of assessing and reassessing my problems to find varieties of ways to alleviate my pain and strengthen my body. Thank you Dr. Inglis and staff!!! I actually looked forward to my therapy sessions. I could see instant improvement and progress each time I would leave. Whether you are a current or former athlete they can build you back. Super clean facilities too!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to see Dr. Inglis after seeing three doctors who diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis. I was in so much pain that I was unable to walk and sleep at night. My exercise routine which included dance was immediately halted. I did not want to take the pills and have the injections that were recommended for me by the other doctors. Dr. Inglis told me about iontophoresis. It is a type of electrical stimulation used to administer medication into your body through your skin. After the first painless treatment, I felt a decrease in the pain level; and after a series of treatments, I am now back to my normal activity level including dance. Had it not been for Dr. Inglis, I would never have known of iontophoresis treatments. I credit his highly knowledgeable and professional advice and his genuine concern for me to my recovery. His staff and assistants exemplify his excellence as well.
