They listened to my concerns and designed an effective treatment regime for me. I like the concept of the practice of physical therapy which is to involve the client/patient in her own recovery. I want to give special shout-outs to Caleb, Jon, and KB who were my primary PTs. The front desk staff are also courteous and helpful in scheduling appointments. Experiencia fantástica: The Physical Therapists provide excellent detailed care, on-site supervision of exercises recommended for consistent and continuous healing of the compromised area of one’s body. The same is true of the at-home exercises assigned between sessions at the “center.” The therapists also interact with the client at each session to make sure that there is a mutual understanding of the purpose of the exercise treatment and that any residual pain is being managed and not aggravated by the activity. I highly recommend Kinetix Physical Therapy at Haile.

Experiencia fantástica: I suffered an injury to my right shoulder playing golf. My doctor referred me to the folks at Kinetix for an evaluation and treatment. They did a sonogram of my shoulder and found 2 torn tendons. Dr. Michael McWilliams and his assistant Caleb Holt developed an exercise program to rehabilitate my shoulder. They were great to work with and very professional. I just got back from vacation where I played 18 holes of golf every day for 4 days in a row. Thank you Michael and Caleb for all your efforts! Lee

Experiencia fantástica: I had a lower back issue for 6 months that was significantly decreasing my quality of life. My wife and I have a baby on the way and we were both getting worried that I wouldn’t be able to pick up our child when they were born. My doctor referred me to Kinetix. They assessed my injury and were very supportive while I worked on the plan they gave me. After 2 months I am doing MUCH better… able to do just about anything without restrictions. I’m incredibly grateful for their expertise and will definitely be going back if I have an issue in the future

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very disturbing, long case of Vertigo recently. I was seen by Jed Myers at the Haile facility. He was wonderful! He saw me the first day I called. He was knowledgeable about Vertigo and helped me get thru several days of dealing with the dizziness and instability. He taught me exercises to regain my balance. He was very supportive and assured me I would improve. I did!! I am forever grateful to Jed!

Experiencia fantástica: Michael and Caleb have been instumental in helping me avoid neck surgery due to severe foraminal narrowing and herniated discs.Targeted exercises to strengthen musculature in my neck and upper body have helped alleviate most of my pain. Neck traction and massage by Caleb have really made a difference! Both he and Michael are always available to answer my questions and brainstorm solutions for unforseen circumstances.They are the best team ever! So glad I came to KINETIX at Haile!

The physical therapists, the interns and the administrative staff are all wonderful. From day one I knew I had chosen the right place. Unlike other PT places I have been to through the years, I looked forward to every appointment at Kinetix. My treatment plan was decided upon by Jake and Carter. They were so caring and professional. I knew I was in good hands. My progress was faster than I expected and I ‘graduated’ last week! I have learned what I need to do to continue managing my problem at home but I know that if I have an issue I can’t resolve, my friends at Jonesville Kinetix are only a phone call away. Experiencia fantástica: I went to Kinetix after years of chronic low back pain that I struggled to find an answer for. During my evaluation with Jed Meyers, PT, DPT, he helped me get a better understanding of my pain, and helped set me up on a successful path. I felt that Jed really understood my goals and designed a treatment plan that addressed my weaknesses well. He also did a great job tracking my progress outside of the clinic and giving me exercises and goals to work on by myself. During my time at Kinetix I also worked closely with Vivian Castro, first as an undergraduate intern, and then as an exercise tech after she graduated. Vivian was always very encouraging, and held me to a high standard. Both Vivian and Jed were very relatable and personable, and I actually looked forward to getting up at 7 AM to do physical therapy with them. I am very thankful for both of them, they made my treatment process fun but also challenging and rewarding. I would recommend them to anyone!

Leanne was the designated leader of my team and she was outstanding - she knew the answers to all my questions and explained everything very well. Her assistant, Kathy (PTA) was helpful as she assisted. Grace was the student intern who was with me most of the times I was there. She is personal and we laughed a lot - she counted my repetitions so I could easily talk and work. Katie did an awesome job with the laser work - I believe it helped speed up my healing. I worked with Caleb and Michael as well as members of their staff for several weeks rehabbing a problem knee. Experiencia fantástica: Words cannot describe how grateful I am for being placed here for my first clinical rotation. The community at Kinetix is so welcoming that they made me feel like part of the family right away. I was privileged to work with and be mentored by outstanding physical therapists and physical therapist aides. My clinical instructor, Scott, embodied everything I hope to be as a physical therapist. He is kind, compassionate, respectful, and communicative with his students, peers, and patients. Scott was always encouraging and supportive throughout my clinical experience. I was exposed to many unique tools that most clinics don’t have, such as EMG, ultrasound, laser, Neubie, and much more. If you want to improve your manual skills, this is the place, and Scott is the CI for you. I am now much more confident as a student and have gained a wealth of knowledge from completing my clinical rotation here.

Experiencia fantástica: Kinetix has been absolutely integral to my prehab before knee surgery. Scott runs an amazing facility and has such a personal touch; he’s clearly an exceptionally talented and brilliant physical therapist. Sara is also amazing to work with. All the staff and volunteers are lovely. It’s so nice to be remembered and appreciated every visit. I’m looking forward to coming back for rehab after surgery. Edit: I’ve now completed my post surgical rehab and I truly could not be happier with this team! Scott and Sara have gotten me back to being even stronger than before, and all the interns and staff are an absolute pleasure to see even in the early mornings. I can’t recommend Kinetix enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Kinetix PT after experiencing months of pain in my left shoulder and right elbow. It had progressed to the point I wasn’t able to open my refrigerator or cut vegetables without elbow pain. I was not able to lift anything above 10 pounds over my head. This really hindered my ability to fully participate in CrossFit classes. I found myself taking more and more rest days and modifying more and more movements. I knew I needed to do something. I was very reluctant to try a “traditional” Physical Therapy Clinic. In my past, I had PTs and doctors tell me not to engage in the sports and activities I loved., that I just should remove them from my life. The end. I had a lot of fear that I would be told I shouldn’t do CrossFit or lift heavy. But at this point, I wasn’t doing those things because of my pain, so what did I have to lose? After my initial visit with Dr. Scott Eddins, I was beyond excited when he assured me he’d get me back to the activities I loved and pain free. He never once uttered a bad word about CrossFit or Olympic lifting. In fact, he gets it. He knows what that competitive drive or love for a sport does for an athlete and how much being unable to participate can affect a person’s spirit. His number one goal was always to get me back to what I loved. And he did. Between my PT and Laser sessions I was able to slowly regain my strength and mobility. Each week I was racking up small “wins,” things that told me I was on the right track and would soon be back to my old routine. I looked forward to every session, Dr. Scott and his team made my sessions fun and incorporated a lot of movements I enjoyed doing and translated well to my desired fitness routine. We also shared a lot of laughs! If you put in the work, I promise you Dr. Scott will get you to where you want to be with your physical capabilities and he will certainly never stand in the way of your goals. I am now pain free with full mobility, able to go “all-in” during the daily thrashings known as the “workouts of the day.” Update! (7/1/24) After 2 years of being nearly injury free and continuing to be active, I found myself in need of PT again. I tried to nurse my elbow on my own for 2 months- with no improvement. After 3 months I am able to do all my favorite activities again without pain! Kinetix is a reliable solution to whatever is ailing you.

Thank you to Jake, PT who was at the helm and Carter, PTA who made certain their SPTs Taylor and Kelly knew the exercise drills to keep the momentum going in the right direction. What an awesome Team! Jake recommend adding laser treatment to my plan of care and I’m glad he did! The chronic dull ache and reduced range of motion brought me in and with Walt, and Anna the Laser Techs and Jamie, undergrad Intern stepping in as indicated I feel it was a true team effort with evidence based practices that eliminated my pain, increased my shoulder ROM and gave me back my shoulder! I highly recommend Jake, PT and Carter, PTA with any team they put together! Thank you Kinetix’s Physical Therapy for all you do! ~ Marilyn Ouellett Update: As I was finishing up my final days of shoulder therapy I had begun to experience acute pain in the palms of my hands while driving. The pain was most evident when my knuckles made contact on the steering wheel or when pressure was applied to a noticeable swelling at the same site. I’d never experienced any issues with my hands so I decided to ask Jake, PT if Kinetix Physical Therapy worked on hands; he said they did and asked why. I told him about the recent pain in my palms. We discussed potential issues and opted for a full evaluation of my hands with the result indicating bilateral early stage stenosing tenosynovitis (trigger finger). Hand therapy began with Jake, PT and Carter, PTA. Again the Team taught me needed exercises to regain ROM, reduce inflammation, and eliminate the pain. Laser treatments were added as indicated. This hand therapy stellar Team also included Brad, Sam, Medina and Haley! Thank you everyone! I am grateful I caught the issue early and didn’t ignore it. I’m thankful Jake and Carter both educated me on the needed hand exercises/stretches to maintain pain free hands fully functioning tendons. Experiencia fantástica: Dr LeAnne Quinn is my physical therapist at the Gainesville location and her commitment to patient success should receive an infinite number of stars. There are simply not enough adjectives and accolades to describe what an expert PT Dr Quinn is. Due to a fall, I had severe injuries to my knees and shoulders. Therapy was the only possibility to my remaining self sufficient and living independently. At the time of my first visit, there were many activities of daily living that I could not complete. Both knees were in braces and I was in excruciating pain at rest. To just walk across the room was a major challenge. Pain was so severe in both my knees and shoulders that I could not sleep, and in the event I slipped off to sleep, it wasn't long before I was awaken by the pain. From the first day of Dr. QUINN'S intervention strategies, gradually my pain improved. I now can walk without my braces and can do most activities of daily living that require my knees to move. Pain in my knees almost never wakes me any more and progress continues to be made. Every week of treatment, more use of my knees is occurring with pain diminishing. My shoulders are also improving with increased range of motion. Like my knees, I experience less pain and the number of activities I can perform with my shoulders is increasing. What helps me most is the manipulation that Dr Quinn does on both my knees and shoulders. She knows exactly what to manipulate to reduce pain and increase range of motion. Her work on my shoulders and knees takes much time commitment. Once shown the exercises that I need to perform to continue improvement of use and reduction in pain, I can do those at home which I do religiously. However, the manipulation part of the intervention for me can only be done at the facility. Dr Quinn works diligently to meet the goals of therapy and i owe my continued living independently to Dr Quinn. It is her expertise that has made this possible. I would like to also mention 3 others that have assisted in my progress. Grace and Alyssa are students that work with me and are patient with me as i work to complete my assigned exercises. Sarah completes the team that are an integral part of my successful progress. I also want to comment on all those that work at this facility. There is a welcoming and supportive attitude on the part of everyone with whom I've had contact. I am so very grateful to each of you!

Experiencia fantástica: Super! This group helps you recover from your injuries and get stronger. I had a fall from a bike and it took me 9 weeks to heal. But I needed their coaching to get my strength and balance back. Mike, Caleb, Connor, Chao, Kailey, and Josh were all caring, patient and great trainers. They were very good at evaluating what you needed and gradually increasing your exercises to build your strength back. Thanks to them I am better than before.

Experiencia fantástica: I had been having pain in my arm/shoulder for years. It got so bad that I had trouble buckling my seat belt, brushing my hair, or using it at all. My dad and older brothers all had to have rotator cuff surgery and I wanted to avoid surgery if possible. Making an appointment at Kinetics was the best decision I could have made. Jed Meyers evaluated me and was in charge of my therapy along with Vivian, Katie & KB. At first it was really challenging, but with everyone’s encouragement & guidance, I was able to use my arm more & more with less & less pain. My arm no longer hurts and I am no longer limited. I am so thankful to everybody at Kinetics! I enjoyed working with my team and I am amazed at my progress! I highly recommend physical therapy at Kinetics! They are AWESOME!!!

I finally wanted to deal with it so I called and booked an appointment. My therapist was the best. He listened to my history and understood the activity goals I wanted to achieve. Experiencia fantástica: Jed Meyers, PT, DPT, helped me develop the physical strength I lost over years of cancer treatments. As an older patient with a complex medical history, including foot neuropathy that makes walking difficult, I was concerned that a young therapist might be too demanding, or not know how to help me; I had no reason for concern. Jed is extremely knowledgeable, up-to-date, and interested in the overall health of his patients. He’s also warm, personable, encouraging, and committed to the progress of each patient. Jed conducted initial assessments meticulously so that he had accurate data then used the data to design an individual program for me. Periodically, Jed reassessed, documenting the progress I was making and, finally, my achievement of my goals. During each of my sessions, Vivian Castro (at the time, in her last semester as an undergraduate) worked closely with me under Jed’s supervision, providing feed-back and steady encouragement. Vivian has high standards, knows how to motivate, and always greets a patient with a smile. I was very fortunate to receive physical therapy from Jed and Vivian and I would not hesitate to return to Kinetix should the need arise.

Experiencia fantástica: Having been successfully treated for vertigo many years ago at Kinetix, I returned for help with a sense of “ungrounding” occurring many times a day for several months. Despite the lack of a clear diagnosis, they approached the treatment from different angles including visual challenges and balance work in an attempt to reset my vestibular system. Attention was also focused on my cervical spine with mobility exercises and hands on therapy. The sessions were augmented by use of the Neubi and Laser modalities. Close attention was paid to the feedback I gave during the course of treatment Limited in time by my upcoming move to full time live aboard life on our boat, they geared up with appointments 4 days a week. They worked to develop a set of exercises i can do on my own. With this regimen, the sense of ungroundedness has dissipated to the point I feel confident in going ahead with plans to be a live-aboard. I feel confident in recommending team at Kinetix and am grateful for the caring attention they gave me.

A couple of months ago, I limped in with severe plantar fasciitis. In my first visit, I sat down with Dr. Jed Meyers, who gave me a thorough assessment to come up with a treatment plan that would get me back to walking without grimacing with every other step. With his marching orders, I spend the next couple of months working with Alec, Chase, Kathy, Vivian, and Garnell. Why so many different people working with me? They have flexibility in scheduling, so you aren’t always required to come in at the same time. In addition, each one is fully knowledgeable in their trade and their camaraderie meant that each one covered for the other so the treatment continued smoothly. I still have some visits left, but Kinetix focuses on reaching your goal and they won’t milk you. If you’re healthy, your treatment stops. Today I’m able to walk 4 miles daily…pain free. If you need physical therapy, visit the excellent crew of Kinetix at their Haile location. And if you happen to be working with Jed, Chase, Alec, Kathy, Vivian, or Garnell… tell them I said “Hi…and Thanks!”

Experiencia fantástica: After suffering a broken wrist, my surgeon sent me to Kinetix for treatment. Every PT I worked with was very knowledge and thorough in their treatment. I had to shorten my treatment because a second surgery was scheduled to remove the hardware in my wrist. When I am in recovery from that, I plan to continue my treatment here. I thank them for all they have done for me and look forward to returning.

Experiencia fantástica: Kinetix PT in Haile has been an incredible experience. I came by recommendation from a family member to get help regarding numbness and the inability to use my right foot. I had been told by previous doctors that my condition was permeant. Well, After just my evaluation with Michael I left in a completely different mindset. Since then Michael and Caleb have gotten me on a plan as to which I am already getting my feeling back and able to walk. I have complete confidence and trust in their knowledge and treatment. Honestly, the entire company as a whole is just wonderful. Im really only upset with one thing regarding the staff there. Its that the interns are always leaving to continue on their education just when you get to know them. And, that I will eventually not be back because they will have gotten me all fixed up. Until that day happens I look forward to going to PT. How many of you can say that?

Experiencia fantástica: UPDATE: I had to return to PT because I fractured my arm and naturally came to Kinetix. Scott and all of the assistants were excellent as usual. My range of motion has greatly increased and the pain is diminished. The exercises were very helpful and I always enjoy the muscle work. Highly recommend Kinetix! Kinetix is by far the best place I’ve ever been to for physical therapy. I have been treated for many problems including pain and tightness in my jaw, neck, shoulder and back. Scott Eddins has an incredible understanding of the body, a magic touch when it comes to muscle work and the patience of a saint! He has been so compassionate and helpful. Under his care I would say that my pain has reduced by about 90%, I have thus far been able to avoid surgery and my quality of life has greatly improved. I would recommend Scott and Kinetix without hesitation to anyone.

He listens to my concerns/complaints and then with follow up questions, we develop a treatment plan. He is always respectful and courteous. Had the most awesome team of therapists that worked on strengthening my lower body, twice a week. Being a physician, I knew that physical therapy was the best initial approach, and was able to set up an appointment with Kinetix within a few days. From the time of my initial comprehensive assessment with Jed, through regular visits with him, KB, Vivian, and Caleb, I knew that I was in good hands. In addition to exercises, they provide manual therapy and laser therapy, which really increase the effectiveness of the services, and which I have never had at any other PT provider. They also have several diagnostic tools, including ultrasound and nerve conduction studies, which help clarify the problem so they can target the treatment precisely. In addition to their expertise, every person there, from the the therapists, assistants, interns, and volunteers to the admin staff, are friendly and caring. They all have a smile and a greeting , whether or not you are their patient. It feels like you are part of one big family. I have been to Kinetix for several problems, including knee pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, sciatica, and difficulty with balance and strength. They have consistently provided just the right combination of therapies to resolve the problem. They are definitely the best!

Experiencia fantástica: 5 months ago I came in unable to perform many household tasks using my arms and even sleeping was extremely uncomfortable due to ulnar and cubital nerve damage in both arms. I am happy to say that on my final day, my body has regained some lost muscle mass, am able to return to just about every activity except for certain sports and no longer need to wear braces for my arms and elbows when I sleep. Big thank you to Bryant, Carter and Jennifer as they adapted the exercises to how flared up my symptoms where feeling on certain days and I always felt supported and encouraged to work at a comfortable pace. The sessions were fun with an amazing atmosphere, especially for 7am. I never felt "silly" as some of my exercises felt odd to perform at first but helped restore my mobility, so this really was a comfortable place to be vulnerable and focus on restoring my injuries. I am glad I gave Kinetix a chance as this is my first time using physical therapy for any injury, and today is major improvement compared to my first day.
