Experiencia fantástica: I am giving 5 Stars to not only Fundamental Therapy but mainly to Justin Perry! My son has made so much progress with Justin working with him! My son has seen many speech therapists over the years since he was 2! He is 6 now and I am so amazed at the progress Justin has made! My son loves going to his speech appointments every week!

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about Fundamentals. My son attends ABA and speech here, and is doing very well. We are about to enroll another child . Sam Fox (SLP) is the first speech therapist to recognize my son as a gestalt language processor, and taking a new approach to his therapy really unlocked his progress. Taylor is our BCBA and she has been wonderful and flexible with his programming. We feel supported , which means so much. We appreciate our entire team at Fundamentals and highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: My son was a client for three years with the same provider who knew he had reading and feeding issues. It was not until two months prior her leaving after my own research that she informed me that Fundamental provided both services he needed. They suck you in by telling you they have a 30 minute spot for you and that a longer spot will open very soon and your child is at the top of the waitlist. Do NOT fall for this. It’s a LIE. They have waitlists over one year long. They accept everyone despite never having the staff or time to actually provide your child with the length of session they RECOMMEND after evaluation. All they care about is getting your money. Then the owners will refuse to call you back when you have an issue. There are plenty of other providers in this area who know what they’re doing and that have integrity and actually want to help people.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at that place is very caring and they treat you like family. Our son was there doing ABA, OT and SPEECH for about a year and I can’t say nothing but good things about them. He is now at a school and he is doing excellent thanks to everything they worked on with him.

Experiencia fantástica: I have loved our therapy experience since we started, and the amount of help and support our had made to our family is irreplaceable. They've been very willing to work with us on financial matters and really make us feel welcome.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away from this place! The ONLY reason they are so big is because they take insurance. The therapists themselves are good which is why i give 2 stars. The administrative staff and management make this place a literal nightmare. Their staff for speech are on a revolving door and they do NOT have enough FLP's which they will conveniently never talk about to you unless you bring it up. this means your kid is with a person who is there tops a year and you will be passed around to the new flavor of the month constantly. this also means your schedule will change over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over you get the point. they need to start paying better for speech staff who are going to stick around who don't need more schooling. and they need to fire the person that schedules things because NO ONE else can schedule anything so they have to wait and jesus they have two offices but god help you to know which one to go to while they are rescheduling you. STAY AWAY

Experiencia negativa: After having me wait for 6 months, today I was called after regular business hours to be told that my son would not go on a wait list to be tested for autism. They said because I pay for Florida kid care which is considered a type of medicaid they will not be taking my son. This is absolutely classist. This is absolutely disgusting. This is the medical system in the state of Florida waging A-war on the poor. How can you say that you are refusing to help poor children? Because I pay the state to ensure my child he cannot be tested? This is absolutely ridiculous. This is immoral. I will be writing an email to a board of directors of this establishment and putting one of you everywhere so that everybody who knows these people hate the poor. Good God forbid you get help with your children's insurance and they need assistance. My son is 7 years old and undiagnosed. This was our last help.

Experiencia negativa: I left a credit card on file and they made unauthorized transactions. Bank did an investigation, canceled my card, etc. I would not recommend giving this organization your business.

Experiencia fantástica: Sam (speech) and Tj (ot) have truly been an asset to our family. Our 4 yr old was barely speaking in January of this year. Now, he’s telling us when he’s tired, hungry, wants something. Even during the coronavirus issue going on, they have been amazing with teletherapy and in office visits. We are sad that we are leaving because he was looking forward to going to therapy. He would bring me his shoes and say “go, go now”. Highly recommend them. If we could take them with us, believe me, I would take them in a heartbeat. Thank you ladies for all that you did for him. We will miss you.

Experiencia positiva: The occupational therapist my daughter saw was great which is the only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars and not less. The office staff wasn’t exactly friendly and I always got the impression that I was “bothering” them. I had questions about why they were charging me one amount when my insurance verified with me my copay, which was much lower and every time they said I would just have a credit when the claim came back from the insurance company. I’ve received a copy of the claim but the billing office is still saying they haven’t gotten the claim back from Florida Blue yet (I’ve had my copy for over a month now). I’ve had to leave another message and still no answer At one point during our time, I requested to move my daughters appointment. The front desk said they would have scheduling call me and no one ever did. We ended up stopping therapy there all together.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible. Everyone has been so kind and helpful from the beginning. As for the therapy- I truly cannot believe how far my son has come in just 5 months. His speech and language improvement has also triggered a major boost in his confidence. He gets sooo excited to come each week and him & I both adore Sabrina. She has taken the time to get to know my child and is creative in keeping his attention. She is an absolute joy.

I appreciate Samantha's patience, understanding, and expertise. She really is a wonder Speech Therapist and I am so happy that my child is making great progress. Experiencia fantástica: They close at six. Our appointment was over at six. I go outside to my truck and my clicker isn't working I rush the kids back inside. They watch my kids while I figure out what in the world is going on. A few minutes passed no luck. Haley stayed with me and played with the kids for half a hour until my friend came and picked me up. Even offered to take me home. Such a kind environment.

Experiencia fantástica: FTS is a loving, consistent, warm, and fun place for my son to come and work on being his best self! We have been part of the FTS family using multiple therapy types for over 3 years now and would never go anywhere else! OT Meghan and Dr. Ressa can not be beat!!!!!

Experiencia positiva: Friendly staff but REALLY long wait times--it takes months to get academic testing. I know they're working hard, but when you're a parent hoping to get help for your kid, such long wait times can be frustrating.

Experiencia fantástica: I really like the team at FTS! They have worked with our schedules and the pricing for cpit for our son. We drive 2 hrs both ways for treatment and it helps us to know that they care about us and our situation

Experiencia fantástica: We've had nothing but good experiences here. Great therapists and reception. My daughter loves coming and enjoys her speech therapists Amy and Laura and her physical therapist Remy. All who are very patient with her. We have been to other places who offer physical therapy in Gainesville and they are so quick to discharge her and to get new patients in. So its nice to know the therapists are on the same page as me to make sure my daughter is getting the help she needs.

Experiencia negativa: It takes two weeks for a therapist to input evaluation data. Then we are placed on a waiting list.

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn't give any stars if I could. They are horrible. You go for help and they use that against you. They are NOT the place to go to for help.
