Bobby did a great job of tailoring exercises to my needs at each stage of recovery. He knew how to safely throw challenges my way, which I also appreciated. I gained useful insight into how to maintain strength, stability, flexibility, and range of motion moving forward. The office staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt that my time was respected at this practice. I hope I never need their services again, but I won't hesitate to use them should the need arise.

And my work with Bobby has improved the strength in my leg. I've always felt that they really cared about me and getting me back on track with my life. Experiencia fantástica: I had a painful ruptured disc (3-4) in late April 2014. My spine doctor prescribed physical therapy and up to 3 epidural injections. I began therapy at a "recommended" PT office and I had three sessions. I wasn't satisfied and I switched to Spectrum Spine and Sport which I found to be very professional. Unlike the previous office, the office was immaculate with excellent sanitation practices. Pricing was fair and less costly per visit. Cots were wiped down between patients and pillows are turned to indicate they were not used. The office is well equipped and I worked with several personnel initially and then I was assigned Crystal, an asst. PT. Crystal and the staff was patient with me and after numerous sessions, Crystal made my back muscle pain go away. I continue to do daily prescribed back exercises to strengthen my back I recommend Spectrum for your P. T. FRED MEYERS

Will is an amazing therapist who really listens to your concerns and tailors your treatment to what you need in your daily life. I went from so much pain and not being able to move my shoulder to functional in a matter of 2 months. All the staff is so nice and a fun place to be. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Spectrum Spine & Sport Physical Therapy has been nothing short of incredible! I had a full knee replacement. In spite of participating in physical therapy elsewhere, at 5 weeks post-op, the knee had to be manipulated under anesthesia. Again, while participating in physical therapy elsewhere, I suffered a torn quadriceps on the surgical leg while bending the surgical knee for measurement. I spent 5 plus weeks completely limited from exercising the surgical knee whatsoever while the quad healed. I then switched to Spectrum Spine & Sport Physical TherapySportStacey Billyard has been my physical therapist. Her professionalism, knowledge, and expertise, has completely turned my recovery around in three sessions. She has listened to me and tailored my physical therapy to my specific needs and issues. She has loosened my quad and again in three sessions, has my knee bending to 100 degrees, with great care, firmness without pain, and without forcing it. I now look forward to my physical therapy instead of dreading it. Due to Stacey’s knowledge, care, and touch, I am making real and tangible progress with each session. Stacey Billyard and Spectrum Spine & Sport Physical Therapy have my highest recommendation. She and the the staff are simply amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: Spectrum Spine & Sport is both a competent physical therapy clinic but even more importantly..ethical. So impressed with the integrity in how they track and bill insurance companies for services rendered. If a PT spends 30 minutes with you...they bill 30 minutes with the balance of service thru a PT Tech at the Tech rate. I can have confidence in a company like that!! My PT, Will Hanson, is an elite therapist. Technically gifted across musculoskeletal systems but even more so, innovative in its application. I was hurt playing pickleball. After making progress, Will transitioned the rehab protocols to pickleball movements, even taking me outside with paddles and ball to assess progress before returning me to play. Can't state enough how competent, professional and caring he is. A great reflection of the staff at Spectrum. Highly recommend!!

I am better on my feet, and I feel 100% better than I did, everyone in this office is extremely professional, kind and caring. If you need therapy, Spectrum is the place to go to.

The evaluations by Stacey were very thorough and she spent more time exploring my issues than all the others combined. I feel that therapy sessions were more individually designed for me than I had previously experienced and that the therapists seemed sincerely interested in my progress and concerns. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been an aquatherapy patient at Spectrum Spine & Sport in Gilbert, AZ, for over five years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I have chronic lower back pain from a 1997 severe spinal injury that I have refused to have a fusion surgery for unless I’ve tried everything else. Aquatherapy at Spectrum has been instrumental in improving my muscle tone and overall strength, has caused much needed weight loss, and has allowed me to put my rolling walker away for good! My overall core strength has improved considerably and I no longer walk hunched over to relieve lower back pain. The staff at Spectrum are always pleasant, very accommodating, and are very knowledgable about what is required for me to meet my goals of being able to continue functioning at as close to 100% as possible. As a long term patient, my therapy is intense and includes great workouts that include cardio exercises. This photo is from the very early days…although I don’t have a current photo, due to privacy of other patients, I am now about 40 lbs lower than this picture. From the support staff up to the owner, I have great respect for each and every person I’ve dealt with during my 2-3 times weekly appointments, with extra appreciation for Alex/Kelly/David/Stacy and the ever so sweet Halle!

We are still working on getting back to 100%, but we are making progress. I recommend Spectrum for anyone’s physical therapy needs as you will be treated with patience, kindness and compassion, and your specific needs will be addressed! Kade is the best technician to work with!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had three sessions and highly recommend Spectrum. Bobby is my physical therapist and he is great. I was recently diagnosed with arthritis and tendonosis in my hip. I also have a long ago diagnosed back issue. Bobby took the time to listen to my pain history during the initial consultation and developed an exercise program aimed to alleviate the discomfort. In follow up sessions, he added new exercises and revised others. All of this has helped in stretching the area out. I will continue to do the exercises at home and believe it will lead to reduced pain and get me back to doing everyday activities most of us enjoy. Bobby also suggested I may want to follow up with an orthopedic doctor regarding my back issue.

When I rate/assess facilities and services I look for the big three: competence - do they know their job; professionalism - do they treat patients with care and respect; and facilities & equipment - do they have the requisite equipment and are they properly maintained. For Stacey and her SS&SPT staff - every staff member demonstrates care, compassion and competence flavored with respect, dignity and professionalism. Furthermore, her facility contains cutting-edge equipment and they practice the latest techniques to better assist the patient toward recovery. Special "shout-outs" to Stacey, Angelica and Kelly and to Rhonda at the front desk! SS&SPT rocks!

Experiencia fantástica: Spectrum Spine & Sport (S3) is by far the best PT practice I’ve ever been treated at, and I’ve been been to many. The facility (with a pool) is top notch, very up to date in terms of equipment, layout and cleanliness. But more importantly, the staff at S3 are all, without exception, very friendly, positive, motivating, professional & highly competent. I’m treated twice weekly there and can honestly say, those visits end up being a high point of my days. I would highly recommend S3 to anyone needing PT.

Experiencia fantástica: After approx 8 weeks of Physical Therapy for 2 lower back surgeries and a long recovery, I went to one location with no results. I was sent to Spectrum for Aquatic Therapy. After 7 visits, my pain levels in my back have dropped to almost 0, my increased flexibility has surprised me and the strength in my legs and lower back has increased drastically. Before coming to Spectrum, I was concerned I would have to live with the pain and weakness in my back and legs. Now, I am confident my quality of life will be much better than it was on my first visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a total knee replacement in the beginning of March and take my therapy at Spectrum. The staff truly cares about each and every patient. The therapist always asks me if the exercise is to hard, am I in pain or is it okay. They make sure I'm capable of doing the exercise at the moment. They all check on me and encourage me on. When my session is finished I always hear what a great job I did. I would never go anywhere but Spectrum for my therapy. I look forward to my sessions because I know I'm going to be okay in the end.

I never had to wait in the waiting room longer than 5 minutes. The techs were all kind and knowledgeable and Stacey was an amazing PT. He clearly explained my treatment and took the time to explain the details of my condition and the potential for an improved condition. I felt very confident in the level of his skill. The receptionist was polite and friendly. They were very accommodating in scheduling appointments. The other staff was respectful and professional. Overall, my treatment was very effective and everything was first rate at this office. I would recommend them to a friend.

Experiencia negativa: On my initial visit I had the therapist pretty much tell me that my chronic pain was all in my head. Then in the pool area there's only one person that comes dressed to go into the pool to help. The other two gals do not come dressed for the pool. And there was a few times where I had to put my own weights for decompression in the pool because Alex wasn't there and the girls don't go in. Which made it very difficult considering I suffer chronic back pain.

Experiencia positiva: Front desk staff was horrible. Had to reschedule daily and kept daily the days of the month wrong. I sat in the lobby as my mom received care which was adequate but I see desk staff make numerous similar mistakes, talk about patients, and make inappropriate comments. We canceled any future appointments to go elsewhere. Very unpleasant and even heard arguing with each other regularly. I would not recommend.
