Experiencia fantástica: Jeremy Kurash has been my physical therapist dealing with my degenerative spine/disc/pelvis/nerve/muscle imbalance issues off and on for the last few years. It is common for a PT to have to deal with one issue, but I have multiple ones that play off of each other so things are constantly changing and can get frustrating. Jeremy has dealt with these issues one day at a time, one week at a time, and has enabled me to have a life again and resume many of the activities I love to do. He is very patient, listens well, encourages, makes sure you do exercises right, and is extremely knowledgeable as a physical therapist. I would trust him with any issue I might need in the future. I also had Carsen Loose work on my knee and back. He was very easy to talk to and explained things well - a natural teacher. The front desk staff is very friendly and the exercise techs are very personable. There is a great vibe at Spooner PT in Gilbert and the people who work there make physical therapy actually enjoyable. Love this place :)

Experiencia fantástica: After recent spine surgery my surgeon prescribed physical therapy for at least six to nine months. I located Spooner and visited there for a preliminary evaluation by Jeremy and his staff. This afternoon will be my fourth session. I feel I'm progressing through the routines I've been doing I have reduced the pain and increased my mobility. I'm 75 the surgical procedure was extensive and I was told the healing would come slowly. At this point Spooner, Jeremy and his staff are providing the treatment that is required. The front staff were courteous and helpful, the therapist knowledgeable, the problem I had is that they hand your case off to inexperienced interns who do not have enough experience and because of that my condition worsened. If I could of worked directly with the PT I would have given this 5 stars.

Experiencia negativa: This place came from a word of mouth recommendation. The office is very nice with a lot of equipment & many treatment tables dotting the outer perimeter. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming & the PT I met with was pretty nice & determined to solve my issue. I feel I received great care and attention the first three times and then the care and attention became inconsistent. I had an issue with one of the PT techs on my 4th visit. That particular person was unprofessional and lacked personal boundaries. After having a conversation with the office manager, I was assured that it would be addressed and was thanked for my call. I also mentioned I did not care to work with this person in the future. On my most recent visit, I saw my chart which had a neon orange sticky note stating that I did not want to work with a certain person. It was shocking to me that what I thought was a private, professional and confidential conversation now became a sticky note for everyone to see. I felt violated. I feel that my discomfort with this specific PT tech was not taken seriously & it was unprofessionally handled. I was also disappointed that my PT person never inquired about my concern over the tech or even asked about my well-being. Lastly, I feel the care and attention I received from my PT person & staff declined after pointing out my discomfort about the tech.

The physical therapist Jeremy was very personable, extremely knowledgeable regarding what he does, and made sure I understood the benefits of each exercise. But it is Jeremy’s laid-back manner and exceptional sense of humor that sets the mood for the entire staff, patients included. I have never seen such a content and easy-going bunch of workers. Each time I finished my treatment program I felt like I was leaving a group of friends. And this is written by a guy who detests exercise and would rather be in the dentist chair than go to a gym!

I had foot surgery more than a decade ago and was sent here after that and have never let any doctor send me anywhere else since. The front desk is awesome, the therapists and everyone else who works with you are amazing and they get you back to better than you were before you had your injury. I highly recommend them. I really do, I've probably sent at least 10 people to them over the years.

My story with Blankenship goes back to 2014. I’ve been through a shoulder recovery from a work related injury when I was in law enforcement. Then to a full surgery on that same shoulder, to a bi lateral shoulder set of surgeries last year. Without this team of caring people, I would have never been able to get through the recovery. My surgeries were only 2 months apart from each other. I was able to have the second surgery due to the diligence of the crew of people, Tom, Tyler, Conner, and the entire front office staff! They push me towards success and give me the best motivation advice ever. Even when the trainees come in they are amazing. My back-pain hindered my daily routines and, most importantly, I couldn't play my favorite sport, tennis, for more than a year. Yet, Craig and the wonderful Blankinship team opened a new door in my life. My experience with Craig, so far, has been more than just PT. It's been education for how I should treat my body with regards to my age and my physical condition. The stretches, the muscle strengthening trainings, the faradic muscle stimulation, the movement extending massages and the dry needles all have been greatly helpful, yet what makes the greatest difference is that I know there's a way I can maintain my strength and control the pain. It's all about choices and I'm happy and grateful that, at a point, Blankinship was a choice on my way and I made it.

I've been to so many places for multiple sports injuries, and this one is by far the best. Until I came here, PT was always a grueling, boring, unexciting experience that I dreaded going to every week... but these people make it so fun to be there. Everyone working at Blankinship gets along so well with both each other and with the patients. From the kindness of the front desk to the overflowing knowledge of the therapists to the attentiveness of the aides, the atmosphere is always lively and you truly receive the individualized care you need. I've never been left waiting around for my next exercise as someone is always there to direct me to the next one, and if I come in feeling some new discomfort regarding my injury (ACL tear), my therapist (Jake!!) always caters and customizes the regimens and techniques he uses to target the exact issues I'm facing that day. It's never the same procedure; it's tailored to you, grows with you and for you... Not to mention the amazing massages that every patient receives every time they come in. This level of care is truly, truly rare. It's sped up my post-surgery recovery immensely; I'm almost sad for the day I have to leave. You'd be mistaken not to choose Blankinship.

They truly go above and beyond with the Physical Therapy from their equipment and knowledge to sending home exercises for the best possible recovery. My daughter goes twice a week and she's excited about it! They make therapy fun even though it's hard work.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Blankenship Physical Therapy after a severe foot injury that shattered my heel. After surgery and many weeks in a cast and boot, I could barely move my foot and I walked with a limp, all the while in pain. Craig worked on my foot and calf and assured me from day one that he would get me better and not waste any of my time. All of the techs were super helpful and nice. I never felt like a number, but like a person surrounded by people that cared. I can’t say enough about what Craig did to get the mobility back in my foot and almost completely minimized the pain. By far the best place for any physical therapy needs!
