Experiencia negativa: I struggled with the decision to write this review but then thought that maybe someone in the future could benefit from it, so here I am. I had been seen by Mandy from Sept '23 until the end of July '24. I originally was referred to Mandy by my Urologist for Pelvic Floor PT. Within just a few visits my pelvic pain had resolved for which I was so thankful. However, I was still instructed to come to the clinic three times a week and received the same treatment each visit which included a full back/pelvis chiropractic-type manipulation. I noticed that all patients receive the same treatment/care...nothing is personalized to your bodies need. I developed new back pain and was told it was "normal" as my pelvis adjusted and again, treatment never changed. While now I know my back pain is likely from the trauma of receiving so many unnecessary adjustments. I finally started only coming to the clinic twice a week because I couldn't handle being there any longer than that. Mandy overbooks herself to the max and you are often left waiting around for her longer than you are receiving treatment. This clinic is also about 30 minutes from my house and it was unjustifiable for me to spend 3 hours of my day at PT. The last month of my visits with Mandy my pelvic pain had returned along with my back pain persisting. Mandy didn't address or even acknowledge my concerns until I told her I was wanting to leave and try a different clinic. She was unwilling to allow me to leave peacefully and guilted me into returning. I have since been at a new clinic for roughly 2.5 weeks now and have seen more progress in my body in this short time than the almost YEAR I was at Advanced. My care has been directly based on my needs, comfort, and ability. No two clients in this new clinic is doing the same thing or receiving the same treatment because it is so personalized. Mandy will tell you she is "the only one who treats this" but that is a complete LIE. Do not let her gaslight you into staying like she did me. You have options! It's a real shame because I miss the techs dearly. Each one of them showed me compassion and despite Mandy belittling them in front of clients daily, performed their job exceptionally. Don't settle. Listen to your body. Listen to your gut.

Experiencia negativa: I had the most traumatizing experience here today. First off, it took 3 hours… I considered walking out half way through and I wish I did. Mandy is the only PT and the techs run the show, which is illegal btw. Mandy does all the pelvic floor therapy and normal physical therapy, she probably had 10 patients there at one time. The office is run like an assembly line. It is clear their treatments are a copy and paste approach, you will not be receiving personalized care here. I went for pelvic floor therapy since I just had a baby and she couldn’t even clearly articulate what the problem was. This is likely because she didn’t do more than a 3 minute evaluation to even know. Also, I saw her doing manipulations on every single patient. She cracked my entire spine and manipulated my whole pelvis. My back is on fire still and it’s been 10 hours later. I’m scared she messed my body up more. She’s not even a trained chiropractor. To be doing manipulations like that on people is terrifying! I was in pain almost the entire visit due to everything they were doing to me, it felt like I was being tortured for 3 hours. Steer clear of physical therapy clinics like this, this is NOT how physical therapy should be done. It’s deceptive and unethical. Period.

Experiencia fantástica: Great customer service, office is pretty beautiful and restrooms are like from a magazine! I even got a massage in the problem area. Everything exceeded my expectations. I have received physical therapy somewhere else for plantar fasciitis and here just the first appointment was 100x better. Even if it is a really long drive for me, I enjoyed everything. I need to add that everyone seem like they love their job, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring.

Experiencia negativa: My first appointment for pelvic floor PT, I waited over an hour for the PT eval which lasted about 5 minutes, got burned by the tens machine (it blistered after I left and is still healing), and was told by the receptionist the PT would want me to come in 3x a week, which is outrageous. Not going back.

Experiencia fantástica: Went there for physical therapy following hip replacement surgery. I was so impressed with the efficiency, knowledge and most of all the caring way I was treated. Mandy and her staff were amazing. Although they were very busy all the time, they took time for not just me, but everyone (I saw while I was there for my numerous appointments). I certainly hope I don't need them again, but if that happens, I would not hesitate to return. I am walking strong! Experiencia fantástica: Mandy’s “Team System” gives you more for your value & body than any typical PT who just has a one shot approach. From the preparation - TEMs - plus Massage plus Stretching plus her focused personal therapy … AND her ability to use chiropractic techniques - And yes there can be “good pain” involved to get you better!

Experiencia negativa: Look at her disciplinary action. She cares more about your money than health. My wife went there for 5 months, 3 times a week and made little progress. She now goes somewhere else 2 times a week and has made far more progress in just a few weeks. Also she way over books so be prepared to wait for your appointments. A 1 hour appointment could take 2 hours.

Experiencia fantástica: I call BS on the bad reviews that are posted attacking Mandy. PT is rough stuff. Cant handle the truth and quality treatment that is not fun, then don't get healed and go somewhere else. I recommend Mandy to everyone in our community who wants to get the best treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! From day one I have been treated with respect and the utmost of care. The staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly, the facility is clean and organized, and the work they do... my goodness it’s a miracle. After struggling with back, neck, and foot pain for over a decade I have finally taken a leap of faith toward physical therapy and I couldn’t be more happy. Bryce, Hailee, and Mia are the techs of the facility. All three of them are brilliant and do an excellent job of explaining every step of the process as well as giving some of the best massages and stretches I’ve ever experienced. They are all smiles everytime and so welcoming and genuine. I have really enjoyed getting to know them. And then there is Mandy... she is the queen bee of this PT hive. When you first meet her, you know instantly that you are in the best hands (literally). She truly knows her business inside and out and drives results further with each visit. She is no BS. She gets inside your muscles and nerves with incredible precision and literally works miracles on the most painful of issues. In just two, going on three weeks, I’ve had unbelievable results with pain reduction and mobility. There is something truly amazing about what they have going on here in this little facility and I could t be more pleased with the care I’ve been provided. I look forward to each session as I continue to feel more and more comfortable. The pain and whatnot that comes along with the stretches and pop/cracking is worth every second. She is always in good mood, holding positive attitude and I always feel like she is more interested in treating my ailment than sometimes myself. She is funny, jovial and a wonderful person. I am a repeat patient and she has been my go to for PT on various tennis related injuries. She has a very supportive staff and ready to help. Stellar practice and caring people. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: Walking into Advanced Physical Therapy was one of the worst mistakes of my life. I am a smart, educated, person and I missed many warning signs and red flags. I was there for pelvic therapy and while I was initially referred by my pelvic surgeon to a different pelvic therapist, the wait to get an appointment was 6 months. I was able to get in to see Mandy the next day. I was always there for at least an hour and a half because they were always overbooked. They had way too many patients per staff ratio so most of the time I was on my own to do exercises and had to wait for 10-15 minutes (sometimes 45 minutes) for the therapist to come and work on me. Mandy always put gloves on before she came in the room to perform internal pelvic work on me, which is extremely unsanitary. She walked around dressed very unprofessionally and in general the office dynamic was unprofessional at best. She always manipulated my spine and practically dislocated my shoulder because of how aggressive she was. I eventually had to ask her to stop doing it because it was hurting me (to which she mocked me in front of staff). She ended up hurting me and I reported her to the physical therapy board. She brought a lawyer that essentially called me crazy and said I was setting her up for a lawsuit. Well there is no lawsuit- but I would like to warn the community, and especially any female patient who needs pelvic floor therapy, to choose someone else. Spare yourself what I went through and take a minute to look up her license under the Arizona Board of Physical Therapists (and any other physician or health professional for that matter, since it is public record if they have ever been disciplined). You can find the allegations under the Board Meeting that took place on August 22, 2017 (again public record). Make sure you research who was with her on her behalf. She had also already been disciplined previously, again, all public record. It only takes a few minutes to do research that I wish I had done. Don't ignore warning signs like I did- I will regret it for the rest of my life. I really hope, especially for her patient's sake, that she has changed her ways and that she has learned from her lies. If she has said to you: "You will hate me now, but love me later," I would find a new therapist to treat you. I will never forget those words for the rest of my life.

Experiencia negativa: I went there for nearly 6 months to treat pelvic pain. I saw very little of an actual physical therapist. There were physical techs who pretty much left you alone to do your own therapy that I could have easily done at home. There was a lot of waiting due to poor booking and lack of equipment. After seeing no improvement I quit going. The office staff, at Mandy’s request, kept calling to tell me I needed more appointments for an evaluation. They called so often that I finally had to block their number. I would not ever recommend this facility. Very unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: If you are considering taking your child to Advanced Physical Therapy, I truly hope you reconsider. We brought our 4-month old baby in for torticollis treatment a few months ago and it was the most frightening experience I've had as a parent thus far. Prior to stretching, Mandy used a laser therapy wand on my daughter's neck and stated it would help to loosen the muscles. I've since been told this is not an instrument typically used on infants. She quickly tilted my daughter's head from side to side in such a way that it appeared to be perpendicular or nearly perpendicular to the rest of her body. My husband and I became very concerned, but were warned that new parents have a difficult time seeing this treatment. Mandy assured us that the therapy would be uncomfortable, but not painful. However, my daughter cried the way she did when she had colic. She was so upset that she would scream and run out of air. I told myself I was just being a sensitive new mom and brought her in for a second visit. This time, the stretches lasted longer and seemed even more aggressive. Mandy even made a joke about my daughter popping a lot as she stretched her. That was the last time we brought our daughter in and I deeply regret not retrieving my child from her long before then. We had stopped using Advanced Physical Therapy for weeks when Mandy left me the most unprofessional voicemail. She stated things like "...you thought that the pt was just too much for you or too emotional." She offered to adjust her therapy saying "something is better than nothing, at this point," even though I had informed her staff we would be seeking treatment elsewhere. After seeing my daughter's torticollis completely corrected with a new therapist who uses NO manual stretching whatsoever, I feel very strongly that the stretches being performed by Mandy on infants are unnecessary and far too aggressive. I've since reported her to the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy. They advised me they would be investigating her, but I am not sure what has come of it since then. I did see she's been disciplined before. It's public record.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife had double total knee replacement surgery in late December, and started physical therapy at Advanced a few days later. Even though I'm not the patient who was treated by Mandy, I have attended every PT session with my wife to give her moral support, so I've logged just as many hours in the office as she has. I feel I have a unique perspective, one who has a vested interest but can see things for what they are. I can state without hesitation that Mandy and the rest of her staff -- CJ, Jenna, Junior, Devin, Sydney, and others -- have mastered striking the balance between professionalism and approachability. PT can be a daunting process, and usually involves a large amount of discomfort because the patient needs to push through barriers that injuries and surgeries have put in front of them. It is vital to provide an open, friendly, inclusive, and compassionate environment so that the patient wants to continue his/her regimen, even when they have "off" days. That is exactly the type of environment Mandy has built, and she should be commended. Many other PT locations have a minimal amount of equipment, so many times a patient is relegated to the stim(ulation) machine, icing, stretching, and manipulation. Advanced Physical Therapy is exactly that -- Advanced -- with state of the art equipment. My wife's regular routine starts with the stim, followed by ultrasound, massage, exercises, stretching, more massage, manipulation, and icing. I continue to be impressed with the depth, breadth, and quality of care she receives every time. The entire staff works extremely hard and has a wonderful work ethic. If something needs to get done, they will do it, and they regularly seek out the needs of the patients without having to be asked. They provide encouragement and a positive attitude that is clearly genuine. They want to help, and they do, every day, every time. At this point, my wife is about half way done with her treatment... a double knee replacement takes a long time to heal. She is doing great, has kept high spirits throughout the process, and is excited about the prospects for regaining her life. None of this would have been possible without Mandy and her spirit, her optimism, and her professionalism. I owe her a debt of gratitude for everything she has done for us, and would recommend her to everyone that seeks the highest quality care for them and their loved ones.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here since my total knee replacement in October. Travis was my first therapist and helped me through my first 3 months post-op. I have to admit I was sad when I heard he was leaving, but Mandy took over for the 2nd half of my therapy and I continued to have great progress. She is very skilled and determined to get me to the fullest ROM I am capable of. I have achieved additional flexibility since working with her and have no doubt I will get even more in the next few months. She is kind and takes the time to get to know you and to understand your needs. Her entire staff is friendly, hard working and professional. I really enjoy going there and have to say I will miss them when my sessions have ended.

Experiencia negativa: When in doubt get a second opinion. Mandy Aldous wanted us to keep coming back because she hadn't "officially" discharged my son. After months of appointments having to deal with her fake hair, nails, eye color and personality. Having to come in and see her bent over working on some guy while dressed like a prostitute. She can't keep her ridiculous political and equally asinine religious views to herself we finally decided that enough was enough and decided to take my son elsewhere. Well big surprise, he was fine. She just scams people out of their money. Beware!
