Experiencia positiva: The treatment and therapist are great. The one front receptionist, on the top floor, can use some improvement. Im obviously not there because i want to be. I was told to sign in on the tablet but watched her sign in the next patient automatically herself. Treating people the same went out the window.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had PT at Good Shepherd for several issues over the years. My therapist, Jim Kelley, has been outstanding! He took time to understand my issues, provided great therapy, adjusted my exercises and stretches as needed, and followed up. I will go back to Jim every time. The facility is great, from parking, to check-in, and to scheduling. And the people are all friendly too!

Experiencia fantástica: My therapist, Jim Kelley, was knowledgeable, compassionate, and accommodating. He went above and beyond to get me started on the path to recovery from my total knee replacement.

Experiencia fantástica: This is most likely the best place to go for your rehabilitation needs. The doctors are up front with you and they are stern with your treatment. They come up with a plan specifically for you. The nurses are stern but compassionate and make sure you stick with the plan the doctors come up with and the rehab people do a fabulous job with you. They push you when it's needed and have your best interests for you. I'll be going back to them when I have my shoulder replaced. This is definitely the place you want to go for rehabilitation, the results are great.

Experiencia fantástica: Good Sheppard Hyland Center provided exceptional service to our son. Our son completed vision therapy for about 7 months. Jim (his OT) was so supportive, encouraging and patient. He not only helped our son improve his vision condition, but also helped his confidence. Our son enjoyed coming and said vision therapy was fun!! We are beyond grateful. The facility is so nice and well kept. I enjoyed the central garden area where I walked to pass the time while his therapy was underway. Lastly, everyone we interacted with at the center was so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We will be back if we ever need to come in for future services.

Experiencia positiva: Often times when the Good Shepherd physical Therapists there at your Center were informed of pain/injury concerns, it was dismissed and in one case the Therapist re-aggravated a slow healing break in my son's ankle, despite repeatedly conveying the concerns from my son and myself. Your program needs to listen to their patients concerns and not be so quick to dismiss these valid concerns.

Experiencia fantástica: After having a COVID-related stroke at my home in Maryland, I relocated to PA to stay with family and attend Good Shepherd. I started physical, occupational and speech therapy (and later vision therapy). Over the 2 years I’ve been recovering I’ve had the opportunity to work with several physical therapists and almost all of the occupational therapists. Every member of the staff is friendly, skilled, knowledgeable and each provides their own individual motivational techniques. OT Devin helps me find real-world solutions and helped me to find psychological help when I needed it for depression. OT Kathryn manages to find something I can do successfully to end each session with a feeling of accomplishment. PT Leann and PT Liz hold me accountable and keep therapy fun. I could honestly describe something unique and special about each therapist; they are all genuine and caring individuals as well as a cohesive team! Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: The Birdeye device is very sophisticated, but I had balance & dizziness issues for a couple of days after receiving treatment in it.

Experiencia fantástica: Cat, my adult son's physical therapist, was great with him. She knew walking with a walker was something he wanted to do. She thought out of the box of ways to reduce his rocking/tremors, as well as using a walker with tall armrests to keep him from bending over & looking at the ground. Success! And the receptionists/schedulers were quick, efficient & called with cancelations to move up his PT sessions. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband was treated by Dr. Asare Christian in the Spine & Joint Center and then by a DPT in the orthopedic area. He has had joint and pain issues for years after many car accidents, sports injuries and orthopedic surgeries. Both Dr. Christian and his physical therapist took the time listen to his history, ask questions and try different things to help him have less pain and gain more function. After several, dedicated months of therapy and follow-up with the doctor, my husband was feeling much better and was given tools to help him moving forward. I would highly recommend care at Good Shepherd Health & Technology!
