Experiencia fantástica: After a year of suffering with neck pain, I decided to try a new physical therapist. A chiropractor, spine doctor, epidural, and physical therapy, were minimally addressing my pain and balance issues that may be related to the osteoarthritis in my neck. After 16 appointments with Sara, my range of motion is improved and my pain is minimal. Balance has improved, and I've learned enough to keep progressing. I highly recommend Access Physical Therapy and their professional, caring staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a leukemia patient who has spent 46 days in a hospital bed. Upon discharge from the hospital, I found that I was suffering from severe neuropathy and was unable to walk. I had used the Therapy Center for a brief time in the past. I went back and the rest is history. The staff (everyone) is friendly and accommodating, and most importantly very competent. My neuropathy is all but gone and after a couple of weeks of therapy I am back to walking 2 miles a day, with the goal of walking 4 miles as it was my habit in the past ten years. Needless to say, Hand-on-Healing is a class act and I recommend their services without any reservations.

She didn't just go through an insurance-delegated protocol; rather she listened with both her ears and hands. Ultimately I was given the series of exercises to carry on my own self-healing.

Experiencia fantástica: Do you know of any other PT center that will give an uninterrupted 40 minute 1 - 1 time block to a client? I've been to many other places where Physical therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants work with multiple clients at the same time. I truly like the individualized specific attention on my chronic pain, recognizing the time it takes to properly understand what's happening with my muscles and joints, and the most effective approaches to ease my pain and discomfort. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and truly understanding -- they helped me recover from shoulder surgery. And I made my husband a convert -- he is now recovering from chronic back pain. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

Experiencia fantástica: Hands on Healing has literally given me my life back!! After being seriously injured in an auto accident, I received Physical and Vestibular Therapy at three different providers without much relief. My neurologist referred me to HOH and my symptoms and pain relief greatly improved. I had shoulder surgery with serious complications, and after months of Physical Therapy at HOH my shoulder is now 99% back to normal. I continue with Vestibular Therapy and my therapists are very supportive and understanding of this difficult process. I have improved greatly with my dizziness and balance issues, and with continued therapy I hope to make more progress. I can't praise HOH and their caring therapists enough, for greatly improving my quality of life.

Experiencia fantástica: After 18 years of back pain, Krishna is the first physical therapist to help me achieve relief. I am very grateful for her expertise and precision and very pleased with the results. Initially, she manipulated the muscles that would spasm and then introduced gentle stretching and strengthening exercises, increasing their number and intensity over time. Therapists at Access PT work with only one client at a time, so they are able to closely monitor our progress and make adjustments.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place! Was referred here by my LVHN chiropractor for unresolved, chronic low back pain. Therapists combine massage with exercise!! Why haven't other therapy facilities thought of this? Went to many other facilities over the years for same issue, but only felt minimal improvement. But with Access therapy's protocol, I actually feel relief immediately after my session, and my home program is easy and effective. I have now completed my therapy, and know I have the "tools" to relieve my back pain if it flares up, which only occasionally happens if I really overdue my normal activity level. I used to wake up with so much pain I could barely function in the morning. I no longer struggle in the morning. Krishna and Amy are great gals who work with you at a level customized just for you! I also, entrusted my 88 year old father to their care for his low back pain and he progressed marvelously. Highly recommend anyone, at any age to try this facility!

Experiencia fantástica: I fell off my motorcycle in March, tore my ACl and damaged my Meniscus. Had surgery at the end of April and here I am 3 months later fully recovered... Thanks in part to HANDS ON HEALING on cedar crest in Allentown Pa... Kayla was my main therapist... she’s great! Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable.. not once did I feel uncomfortable or discouraged during my recovery... They ultimately helped me return back to my normal life and activities relativity quick... Id definitely advise anyone who needs PT to check them out... decent sized location, not over crowded (which allows their staff memebers to be more focused on one patient at a time...

Experiencia fantástica: All of the staff at Hands on Healing Cedar Crest are friendly, engaging, and helpful. Scheduling appointments were easy and times flexible with having several therapist available to schedule with. Krishna was my main therapist who my wife recommended to me. She was delightful to work with. Very informative as to what we were doing and why, and educational as I asked detailed questions. Eric and Megan backed her up on visits with everyone documenting treatments and discussions for each other to follow up on. Since, I am a very physically active senior, they trained me to perform the exercises and stretches, when to ice and apply heat in between sessions that allowed me to continue my cycling and fitness active lifestyle while working on a piriformis muscle issue. After 4 weeks of sessions, and religiously doing my home sessions, I am good to go on my own. That's what I wanted. I left immediately for a week hiking in Glacier National Park.

They are very good at assessing one’s weakness or pain and set to helping it Immediately. I have learned exercises to do that relieve my back pain and these exercises help me to manage my pain. Experiencia fantástica: Unlike the more traditional physical therapy dispensed in a gym like setting with a multitude of machines, Hands on Healing provides one on one care consisting of deep muscle massage, manipulation, stretching and most important, education. The combination allows the patient to achieve recovery and, most important, to maximize their life's potential. Building on the previous post, I agree, Molly IS an amazing therapist. Her communication skills are top notch; she truly listens to understand her patient. This skill, combined with her clinical knowledge and the application of her continually updated "tool box" of physical therapy techniques make her among the best medical professionals I have ever encountered. Beyond skills, she is a very compassionate person who cares about each patient as a person, not just as another appointment on the calendar. Molly is amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: Such a compassionate, knowledgeable, professional staff! Entire therapy session is one on one in a private room with an individual therapist. The practice does not utilize “gym” type equipment/machines thus maintaining a quiet stress free atmosphere. The therapist watches each exercise making sure it is performed correctly making corrections/ adjustments as appropriate. Hands on Healing is highly recommended for anyone wanting excellent treatment as an individual and not a number pushed through a program. Experiencia fantástica: Let me preface this by saying I am 68 years young and have degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, arthritis and herniated discs. Other than that, I'm in good shape. This is without a doubt the best decision I've ever made! I'm very glad that I sought out Hands On Healing at the suggestion of an acquaintance and decided with my doctors advice to pursue this avenue. This is not a "no pain, no gain" deal! I said to my therapist just today "I'm surprised that with such a light touch and so little manipulation on your part, that you can accomplish so much in relieving my pain". I was comparing it to chiropractic and massage therapy where it can be harsh and short lived relief in comparison. With continued exercise and proper guidance, I'm well on my way to better health!

Experiencia positiva: This review is from my wife: "Since 1995 I had extreme chronic back pain and I went to "Hands on Healing " on & off from 2005 to 2011. They were always able to fix me up and get me back on my feet & back to work when my pain was too much to manage. When I had an issue with my back again this Spring, I naturally came to "Hands On Healing" thinking that it was still under the supervision of Suparna Damany (who is internationally renowned for her hands on approach to healing pain). I had 14 visits this Summer, and I kept thinking I was going to start getting relief. I continued asking for more deep tissue manipulations on my back (knowing that this was the only thing that was able to help me in the past). However, I don’t think this is part of their current philosophy. They did show me helpful stretches and strengthening exercises and the receptionist, physical therapists, and staff are very friendly. I believe they are competent and seemed to try their best, though for my personal back pain, I was disappointed that I couldn't get relief there. I finally found out that Suparna (the Founder of Hands on Healing) has now moved to the Damany Center on Hamilton Boulevard. I am now going there and started getting pain relief in 4 treatments. Suparna still has clients from all over the world to get healing from her experienced approach. The development of her own unique methodologies and her vast experience allow her to really treat the deep-rooted nature of severe and chronic pain in a highly effective way. I have been treated by at least 20 physical therapists elsewhere, and so far no one has come close to her and her team. So, as far as a review, I was sad to see that “Hands on Healing” no longer uses those same techniques, but glad to know there is somewhere else close to go to get the results for severe pain. Experiencia fantástica: This is the very best physical therapy place that I ever been to. I have been going through therapies for over 2 years nothing worked. This place 5 weeks twice a week and I'm doing 95% better than I was in the last 2 years. Everybody is awesome very nice I cannot say enough.

Their hands on approach is much more effective than just using a machine. They also teach you various exercises and stretches that target the problem areas and can be done at home. The ladies at the front desk are very accommodating and friendly, and Kim is an awesome therapist! Would highly recommend them to everyone!!
