Physical Therapy at St. Luke's - Tilghman St. Pediatrics

Experiencia fantástica: We had such a great experience at St Luke’s PT on Tilghman St! My son worked with Courtney for the past year, and she has been nothing short of amazing. She has always been endlessly patient and encouraging. She helped my son grow his confidence and develop new motor skills, which means the world to our family. The entire team at this office is always so friendly and truly gets to know their patients. Highly recommend this clinic to any family looking for pediatric therapy services.

Experiencia fantástica: My son was a patient of PT Courtney Bachman for several months as we dealt with some asymmetries he had as a newborn. Ms Courtney was so knowledgeable, kind, and effective! We were actually sad to “graduate.” It’s been so great to see my son thriving in his development and Ms Courtney was a big part of that. Can’t recommend her and this center enough if you’re in need of pediatric PT services. We also saw speech therapy briefly here and they were great as well!

Experiencia fantástica: Our son Cooper started physical therapy after a tummy time class where the physical therapist Miss Courtney recognized a unilateral deficit, ultimately leading to a diagnosis of torticollis. Over the course of five months and multiple sessions with Miss Courtney, Cooper graduated physical therapy and is meeting developmental milestones and showing great strength all because of the foundational support and education we received from the tummy time class and Miss Courtney‘s sessions. We cannot recommend St. Luke’s physical therapy enough, and Miss Courtney was phenomenal!

Experiencia fantástica: Christian is a great speech-language pathologist. She helped my daughter Nia with taking the sippy cup. She demonstrated great patience and was nothing far from pleasant. I recommend this practice and Christian to anyone who needs just a little help with feeding techniques with their baby. We enjoyed our visits with her and found them very beneficial ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Christian and Patrick are great therapists! Christian is a speech therapist and has been so helpful with our infant’s feeding and swallowing! Patrick is a physical therapist and has helped us in the past with our child’s mobility and strength. Both are very nice and knowledgeable!

Courtney is not only great with the children, but is phenomenal with the parents and educating every step of the way!

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t recommend St. Luke’s Pediatric Therapy on Tilghman enough! My 1 year old daughter started with Kristin in April of last year. She currently sees Kristin and Courtney 3 times a week. My daughter is very developmentally delayed due to an extremely rare genetic disorder. I account so much of her progress and development to Kristin and Courtney. I can’t speak highly enough about the role these women play in our lives. Our neurologist at CHOP recently recommended DMI physical therapy. I was excited to share with her that we already do DMI at St. Luke’s and shared our amazing experience. Every medical setback my daughter experiences, Kristin and Courtney are ready to adjust plans and get her back to where she needs to be. They’ve helped us with SO much on this journey and we are so appreciative of their patience, kindness, and expertise.

Experiencia fantástica: Our daughter Haisley has been with this therapy office since 11 months old (October of 2020) and she is currently 5. Everyone in this office is fantastic and truly cares for their patients. We have to give a big shout out to Kristin PT who has been working with Haisley from the very beginning and is such a phenomenal therapist. We truly can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for Haisley and continues to do. Then she follows with Dannielle for Speech and she as well is a phenomenal therapist and continues to push Haisley to meet her goals and has truly brought Haisley so far along with her communication skills and her ACC Device. Lastly she follows with Mary for OT and she has been phenomenal as well and has been such a big help with trying to get Haisley prepared to start kindergarten this upcoming fall. Haisley loves to go to therapy every single week and always talks about her therapist. Everyone knows her by name there and she loves to say hello to everyone with a big smile and to show off her outfit and anything new that happens. I always recommend this office to anyone that is looking for Pediatric therapy because of how amazing they are.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so amazed at the care my son has been receiving here! We see speech and physical therapy. Christian has helped our newborn so much with his feeding issues. We met with Courtney for PT and she was so helpful and gave us a ton of helpful information/exercises to work on between appointments. We also met Erika, who is a certified Car Seat Technician. We had some concerns about how our son was sitting in his seat and she answered all our questions and made sure he was safely secured. We love pediatric therapy at St. Luke’s! We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Our 2 month old went to Christian for a few sessions for some breastfeeding/bottle issues. Christian was amazing, listening to our concerns, and helped our daughter! The office was on time and loved the atmosphere!

Experiencia fantástica: We had the most wonderful experience here with our 11 month old. Ms. Courtney was his PT and we could not have been more pleased with her. She was articulate and thorough in her instructions for us while working with him at home. She was energetic and so clearly passionate… it made a difference for our son. He easily engaged with her and started showing progress after the first session. After several weeks, he has made leaps and bounds. Thank you, Ms Courtney!

He’s worked with Danielle and Cailee and both are absolutely amazing with him!! I speak so highly of the therapist to others as not only is it fun for my son but his progress is amazing. Highly recommend anyone to use this pediatric therapy as you won’t be disappointed!!

My son has multiple service with them & loves all his therapist. His physical therapist Courtney Bachmann. Has been working with him, since he was a baby. She’s been a such a great resource! & made so much progress. His speech therapist Christian krommenhoek has started working on an Acc device with him & he’s really catching on, so quickly. She’s be so patient with him. & his occupational therapist Ericka Golik. He’s been working on his play skills & I have to say she’s helps so much. My son is a thrower so she’s got him sitting & playing so well now. Over all beyond grateful for all 3 of them & the work they continue to do with my son.

We worked with Courtney Bachman on her mobility and Christian Krommenhoek for her tongue and mouth movement and strengthening. Both therapists we saw were so attentive and patient with our daughter and she made significant progress over a few weeks. Highly recommend!!

Always clean and on time, the sweetest therapists, especially Ms. Christian who is always so patient with my son’s speech. She’s great at engaging him, even when he’s being difficult and doesn’t want to participate.

Experiencia fantástica: My son has autism and has been receiving speech, OT, and PT at the Tilghman street St Luke’s location for almost two years now. To start, the front desk staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. My son looks forward to saying hello to Danielle at every check in. We have had wonderful success in our therapies. Our therapists (Callie, Jen, and Mary) have been very helpful in trying new things with my son to help him focus and learn. Always a positive experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I recommend this facility. My sons both came and worked with Mrs.Courtney. They take their time with their patients. They make it fun and give the exercises to do at home. They work with your schedule. Mrs.Jen was great as well. They are both very sweet. They make it really fun and exciting for the children.

Experiencia negativa: Called this location on 1/23 and spoke to someone who I believe name is Danielle about setting up a feeding and speech therapy appointment for my 2 year old. This was the third practice I called as every other practice had a wait list. Danielle’s exact words to me were “we can see you as early as tomorrow!” I was so excited and relieved. Your location is 45 minutes away from my home and I had to find child care for my other kid to make this appointment. On my appointment day, 1/24, I drove to your location only to be told my appoint is 1/25 and sorry for the mix up but there was absolutely nothing they could do. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Not only did I spend money on gas but I had to pay a babysitter.

Experiencia fantástica: My son was recommended to come here when he was 16 months. He has been consistently attending therapy since then, and he absolutely loves his therapists. Before we even leave the car he's trying to get out. He always runs to the door, right to his therapist. He's made some amazing strides in his treatment, and he's come so far since he started! It's always a pleasant atmosphere and I'm always greeted with a smile; almost like we're all family. :)

They are flexible and work with me around our hectic schedule. My daughter loves going here! She points to the building every time we pass it! I absolutely love the holiday stations they host on Saturday in December! Looking forward to continue to see my children grow with Alyssa (speech) and Mary (ot)!

Experiencia fantástica: St Lukes Pediatric Therapy is all around a great facility with an amazing team of therapists that always go above and beyond for their patients/families. Ms. Alyssa had worked with my older son, Anthony, for over a year and I was stoked when she was available to take on my youngest son, Luca, as a patient! The improvements both of my boys have made in speech/communication is phenomenal & we have Ms. Alyssa to thank! Ms. Alyssa has made a lasting impact on Anthony, although he doesn’t see her for therapy anymore he asks about “his Ms. Awissa” every week! Luca also sees Ms. Christian and Ms. Kendall for feeding therapy. Luca came to them with poor oral motor skills, weak oral muscles, and a very limited diet. Luca is now beginning to eat more varieties of food, including proteins which is huge for us! His oral motor skills have improved greatly in short amount of time! Both Christian and Kendall have been on top of any external testing (ex. tongue tie release evaluation, swallow study, etc.) that he may have needed to improve his feeding here and at home. Each therapist has given my kiddos 110%, as a mother it is like a breath of fresh air to have someone like that working with your child. Our family adores all of the therapists that have helped us along the way and we will forever be grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: You know the saying, "it takes a village?" - and the team (village) at Tilghman St. is THE team you want to have in caring for your child(ren). I have nothing but good things to say about my daughter's experience at the clinic. First my daughter had an OT evaluation with Ms. Carissa for sensory issues and then it was determined she also needed a PT evaluation for core weakness. The clinic was ever so accommodating to make it work, getting a PT evaluation with Ms. Courtney. My daughter absolutely loves coming to her therapy sessions, and that's a big deal! The staff does an amazing job working collaboratively with you, the parent(s) in ensuring your child(ren) gets the best, quality care. I can assure you, they will treat your child(ren) as their own family. It truly doesn't get any better than that. :) Thank YOU for all that you do, you guys are the BEST!

Experiencia fantástica: My son Cameron received occupational therapy from Carissa for about 11 months here. To say I was pleased is an understatement. He was so incredibly scared to begin, and by the time he graduated he was devastated to leave. The bonds he built were amazing. They went above and beyond for him, to better him. He is a completely different child and no longer has outbursts because of his overstimulation or lack of being able to work through his feelings. If he could have stayed in therapy forever, he definitely would have..a huge thank you to Carissa and staff for changing our lives and allowing him the confidence to be his best self! Highly recommend!!

Las terapistas siempre hacen preguntas sobre cambios en comportamiento, actividades o habla del niño para asegurarse de estar al tanto de su progreso. Lo más importante para mi es que están entrenados desde la perspectiva de fortalezas y de esta manera van a poder aportar al crecimiento del paciente, fortaleciendo esas áreas que necesitan un poco más de trabajo. Siempre tienen cosas positivas que decir y usan estrategias espectaculares para mantener al niño interesado en las actividades. Our son Arlin goes here for physical therapy and occupational therapy and they do such an amazing job with him. They treat you like family and the staff is so pleasant. Our occupational therapist, Kristen, is so kind and really works to make our son feel comfortable. We are absolutely loving the new DMI therapy with our physical therapist Sara. We have seen such quick progress from this DMI therapy with our son. I really recommend and think more physical therapy offices should look into the DMI therapy as it's been amazing to watch our son change so much in the course of a couple of months from it. Love this place and couldn't recommend this office more.

Experiencia fantástica: Oh my God this place is amazing! Who would’ve thought seeing a doctor could be so much fun. We were always looking forward to our appointments with Sarah Stametz. My baby used to have a Torticollis but she treated it within 2 weeks doing all those stretching and exercises. So we continued coming every week just in case. Every time Sarah showed us different things we should practice at home, and, as a result, my baby was developing faster than other babies. I wish we could keep coming, but we are moving to another state.

We have benefited from their expertise in speech, occupational, physical, and feeding therapy over the last two years. We work with Miss Alex, Miss Ashley G, Mr Patrick, and have worked with Ms Carissa and Miss Ashley N as well. They are true professionals who work as a team to help our son, and are so creative and enthusiastic in keeping him engaged. Our son is always happy to see his therapists, and we appreciate their thorough feedback and tips for us to try at home. He has made SO much progress and we love that they celebrate his achievements, too! Very, very highly recommend these amazing professionals!

Experiencia fantástica: I take my daughter here for both physical and feeding therapy. Sara, our physical therapist, is amazing and really breaks everything down for me so I can do her exercises correctly at home. She has made such great progress and continues to do better week after week. Her feeding therapists Carissa and Ashley are equally amazing. My daughter used to refuse a bottle but now with the tools we have from her therapy takes one like a champ, allowing me some much needed sleep. We appreciate how kind and welcoming all of the staff are at this location. I also love the time and effort put in to keeping this location clean and sanitized!
