Experiencia fantástica: My 30 days at Greenhouse Detox and inpatient program helped me be able to heal! The new meds Dr Malone prescribed to me during my stay worked very well with my detoxing from alcohol and prescription meds. The teaching staff, the staff that prepared our delicious, healthy meals, my primary care advocate Taylor, therapist Johanis, the crew who kept our rooms clean were so nice and very helpful. And I won’t ever forget Ms G, my primary therapist. She helped me work through my addiction and provided tools and homework to help prepare me for my time outside of treatment. My Process Group was open and honest about their past and future plans as they face the challenge of living a sober life. Keith and Arturo were helpful and would smile and engage with us every day. Rena and Franklin in the TA’s office did an awesome job having our mail/Amazon delivered to us. The nurses were all knowledgeable and helpful with giving us our daily and nightly meds. With so many clients there, at times they were very challenged to get all the meds dispersed - but they did their best. Completing the 30 day program was worth the time there. I feel equipped to face and conquer my battles outside of Greenhouse.

Experiencia positiva: Overall great experience, in detox they helped me with their medical team to help me withdraw from the substances I was on. They feed you healthy food, monitor your medication to help you get stable on the meds you need. The only downfall is with insurance you could get booted out and not know till the last minute. But overall a safe place to get your recovery. Arturo (who is also in recovery) in admin is a great help and light to everyone here!

I do feel like there are certain things that could be handled considering the money that we pay. one thing that caught my attention was the amount of mold in the restrooms by the shower. two; the nurses sometimes do not know what's going on or there are some TAs and nurses who are flat out rude. it made me feel like I was in jail, not rehab. butttttt overall greenhouse saved my life and gave me a fresh start, God forbid I relapse. but if i needed to go somewhere again, I would choose Greenhouse. :)

Lisa was my counselor and she was such a great listener! Terrance and Alex were my favorite TAs but they were all great!! Thank you greenhouse for guiding me in the right direction and I miss y'all so much!! Oh and by the way, the food is great too!

They work so hard for all the clients, even when they are not treated so kind, they stay even and keep doing job in a professional manner. Arturo’s smile and energy was very welcoming. He is willing to be available to you. Keith, what can I say about this amazing man. He goes above and beyond for each client. He is never to busy to stop and listen. He is one of the backbones of the facility. I probably wouldn’t have made it through without him. The Treatment Assistants are so helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Greenhouse was awesome! This is my second time here. The first time was great but I didn't think I was an alcoholic. This time I really utilized the resources offered here. The staff is just amazing from the cleaning staff to the therapists. Arturo and Keith are extremely helpful. The TA's (Ms MiMi, Terrance, Ms Monica, Franklin, Teo, Alex.) It's too many to name but they are all wonderful and play an important role in your stay here. Sean, Aaron and Ms Irene are great nurses. I can say a lot of good things about this place. The only issue I really would speak on is the medical department. They really need more nurses. We start classes at 8:30 and the wait time can make you late. Also stay on top of your medication so they don't run out. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. (Iesha H)

The staff was helpful from intake, all the way until I was discharged after 24 days. 3 meals a day, classes to learn how to cope with behaviors, and lots of nice people to meet/interact with. I don't plan on coming back (fingers crossed) but if I do, it will be back to Greenhouse. Keith and Arturo are awesome so keep an eye out for them.

Experiencia positiva: Let me start with saying you can tell what staff cares and which ones are just here for a paycheck. Terrance, Melinda, Levi, Alex, Keith, Arturo, Franklin, Mila, Sunday, Shawn, Phil, and a few others I can't remember at the moment are absolutely amazing and are definitely the ones who go above and beyond for their patients and keep this place afloat. They deserve more recognition forsure. Some of the nursing staff needs to be trained better for emergency situations because patients should never have to step in and we have. Kitchen staff does there best with how many people and how many people are rude, as well as the house keeping staff. They definitely need to change some of their policies but at the end of the day the good ones make sure to check on you. You definitely need to find a counselor that fights for you to stay if your insurance says you need to leave because mine didn't at the end of the day. The biotherapy is a huge plus here and the fact that other counselors will stop and check on you if they see something wrong is amazing. HUGE SHOUTOUT TO CONNIE, JOHANIS, MS. G, and of course the staff I mentioned before. I'm hoping and praying this is my one and only time in treatment . If you choose to come here just keep in mind your not going to be happy with the way everything is run and how everything happens here, you have to learn to just keep your head down focus on yourself and ignore the things you don't agree with. I'm now on to my next step in recovery and have some of the tools to help me thanks to the staff I mentioned.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s a great great place for the first time in my life I completed a treatment, I’ve been a lot rehabs but this one definitely was a great one

Experiencia negativa: When I first came to treatment I was no where near ready to think about getting sober… I told myself I wasn’t done with that love affair and this was just temporary …. Fortunately for me, I came to Greenhouse! This was my second rehab facility in the course of a month and I figured it would be the same….but it was totally different. They didn’t have all the crazy amount and snacks like my other rehab, but I hadn’t come for snack time. It wasn’t until my first ‘AMA’ attempt that I saw why I was here, the staff and therapists here all had my best interests as heart and individually, one by one came to my rescue throughout the day…. It was almost overwhelmingly heartwarming … they cared about me where I couldn’t and almost refused to until Alex came to me and shared her story with me… at that point I realized just how lucky I am and that I was truly just where I was supposed to be! Day 28 here for me now and I’m sober, healthy, happy again for the first time in years! The people here Greenhouse have been so amazing and helpful on my journey to sobriety! *Update* one star is still too high :( Since transferring over to their GHOP program here at Greenhouse …. Things have gone downhill very fast and you no longer see yourself as a recovery case, yet more of just one of their cash cows that are being used to milk your insurance. I’m correcting my review after someone, sick Tisha, I was informed from their director, makes these very harmful decisions and I’m in the process of having to leave the program no where near the end of my recovery, being forced to leave my support system and friends to be shipped off to some program where I know no one and will more than likely be forced to make decisions based upon these people not wanting to allow my service dog. Their risk management team from New York made the call…. I haven’t been to New York in I don’t know how many years now…. But that’s cute they needed to involve risk management after we lost one of our peers to an overdosed this past weekend from these very same kind of decisions they make. I would highly think twice before entrusting your loved ones lives to this place …. It’s too late for some of us…. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.

Experiencia positiva: greenhouse was such an amazing part of my recovery journey, I began detox at another facility and was then welcomed with open arms to this facility by the amazing staff, ranging from the client advocate down to the kitchen staff. Each client is treated with respect and understanding. My time at greenhouse was shorter than others due to not detoxing there and going to a different sober living in Houston but I still feel as if I got Everything I needed to out of this treatment center. The reason I was unable to give this center a 5 star review is because at the current moment that I’ve been here, they have been extremely understaffed and that has caused lots of miscommunications. The Medication line in the morning is extremely slow and causes clients to miss out on the first two classes sometimes even three, thus missing out on vital information that will help keep us sober outside of here. Keith and Arturo and Lafayette are some of the kindest souls and most respecting staff members that I have ever had at any treatment center. I truly would recommend this center to my closest friends and family if they ever needed to begin their recovery. I am extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to come to Greenhouse treatment center, and I recommend it if you ever need to, to come to this facility.

Experiencia negativa: My husband is currently admitted here and so far I am NOT pleased, especially with how much it costs to go here. I have left several voicemails with SEVERAL people as I have serious concerns about his level of care, no callbacks. For a dual diagnosis facility, he should NOT be so manic halfway into his stay that even he can tell! He can’t focus on his recovery at this point because of their lack of care of his mental health issues, especially when they say that mental health plays a big factor in addiction in the first place. Get it together Greenhouse!!

This place is nothing like the pictures on the website, it’s very rundown and seriously the only thing they have going for them are select staff members that care for the clients. Experiencia positiva: Great facility. Clean. Comfortable, great food. The treatment team really does care about the clients. Many going above and beyond during my stay. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, kitchen staff, the TA's, nursing staff, the patient advocate, nurses, and doc were all very helpful. I recommend to anyone in need. Before discharge, I even left a written thank you to the staff on board. However, my one complaint is that they lost my personal belongings, and I cannot get any info on if they are even trying to locate them. I have called and called again to no prevail. Make sure you take careful inventory of what you pack, because they take some belongings and "put them in a safe". Well.... I don't know where things went wrong with my stuff being put away. But I do know that I left without everything that I brought, and will probably never get it back. Up until that point, I was impressed and happy with the place.

Experiencia negativa: Case manager zee was spiteful sand is the sole reason I did not go too Ghop he crushed my plans my IOP at last minute he also never accomplished an alternative for me missing my court date while in this medical facility My room I was put in had bed bugs 8 days later I was still deprived from access to my personal items my next room had black mold 2 bras and a shirt was never returned from laundry and Mr Keith was supposed to replace it and my lost items were never replaced

At this point I cannot recall the names of all the staff members who helped me but I wanted to leave a review to let others know the wonderful experience I had at The Greenhouse. The groups and therapeutic setting were amazing but the staff members are what truly made such an impact on me. Going through life you can always tell if people genuinely care and enjoy their profession and it was evident that all of these people have chosen the perfect career. They were all encouraging and understanding and I could tell that they truly wanted the best for me and for everyone else there. I will be four years sober this October and I just want to say thank you to everyone here who cared for me in my time of need. Since leaving the Greenhouse life has not been easy and I have lost several very close family members, one of them being my sweet dad. I cannot imagine the regret I would feel if I was still high and hadn’t been active the last amount of time I had with my family members. Everyone from staff to nurses and clients welcoming with open arms.everyday was a struggle but with love and dedication and not giving from peers I’m leaving here with more certain then ever thank you greenhouse for helping find myself and not giving up

Experiencia fantástica: Arturo, mimi, alex,Keith, lafayette, tarrence, Levi, Audra, Emily , Levi, Bobby, monika, are the best!! Of course I can't recall names only faces... but all TAs ,the nurses, the treatment teams saw an angry hot mess raging and unsettled enter and still seemed genuine in loving me to a healthier balanced woman. I'm not healed , I'm a work in progress, but everyone was very helpful and informative!! Love this place for the love and support fron piers and staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful treatment program. Best I have experienced out the 5 treatment centers I have been to. Staff is amazing. Therapist are great. You get to keep your phone (huge selling point for me). Meals and snacks are good. Housekeeping and laundry is great (yes, they do your laundry another big selling point). Classes truly help you understand your trauma, depression, anxiety, and address your addiction. This treatment facility offers lots of amenities. I definitely highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to start their journey to recovery.

Also Mimi always quick to get positive affirmations and let us know that we’re worth it big one to my Therapist . She is absolutely amazing and I love her so much for helping me get through my trauma to open up and communicate better assertively. I am so blessed to have come to greenhouse. I changed my life. Experiencia fantástica: I had a positive experience at Greenhouse. For the most part the staff are very friendly and always willing to help in any way they can. The programming is structured and provides a good base for recovery while allowing clients to explore their own path in recovery, they don’t shove AA down anyone’s throat. The client learns the basics of AA and also informed that there are other means to recovery, everyone can determine their own path. The facility is nice, definitely not bad for a rehab, although maintenance has room for improvement. The food is usually good, and it’s nice to always have the salad bar for lunch and dinner. All in all, the facility and food aren’t quite as good as the website leads one to believe, but it’s not too far from the mark, also, be prepared to gain some weight (I gained about 20 pounds in a month). Nursing is their weakness. I’m a type 1 diabetic and I’ve talked to several other diabetics and we have all had similar issues. For me, they could never get my insulin regime down right, even though the dosage was printed on the boxes of insulin I brought. Several times I had to argue with the nurse or charge nurse because they were giving me insufficient amounts of insulin or in a few cases none at all. It would greatly benefit the clients if they had an endocrinologist on staff, on call, or as a consultant. I’ve been to four rehab facilities before going to Greenhouse, I can say that Greenhouse is among the best. The facility is nice, the food is good, and staff are friendly and personable.

As well as Mimi she was very encouraging and helpful through my treatment here. There’s more staff that was very helpful and nice so thank you to the staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Greenhouse has made a huge impact in me and my recovery in general. The staff, esp Arturo, were helpful immensely and were always available for whatever I needed. I hope everyone can experience what I have on the start of their journey into recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: Going into Greenhouse, this was my first time in a treatment facility and I was very scared upon walking in the doors. As soon as I arrived, I curled up in a ball and started crying uncontrollably. Within a matter of seconds, I was whisked away by Phil and he took me into a room and helped ease my anxiety. He talked about his story of sobriety. He then brought the lovely Monika into the room and she had me smiling by the time I left the room and was lead upstairs to my room to detox. The next few days were really rough because my detox symptoms were so severe, but my vitals were checked at least 4 times a day during that time and I knew I was safe. Once out of detox, I started going to classes and began to understand my addiction to alcohol around many people in similar situations as myself. There was never any judgement or disapproval by staff or peers and I quickly formed a strong bond with a couple other ladies that I could pour my heart out to. We all supported each other through the journey. I entered Greenhouse with a lot of trauma, anxiety and depression, but all of these were addressed in classes and with my Dr and Therapist along with the tools and skills I needed to process through all my pain. Once a day we had what is called “Process Group” which is a smaller class (10-12 people) in which we really get to be raw and get a lot of peer and therapist advice. I became very trusting of my group and was able to share some of my darkest past while knowing my stories would remain in that room. From the nursing staff, to the counselors, therapists, guest speakers, housekeeping staff and cooks, everyone was so open and kind. The road of sobriety is a long one but I am so grateful for starting my journey at Greenhouse.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff that truly care about your recovery. I will be forever grateful to Greenhouse for accepting me and loving me where I was at when I came in here. It allowed me to feel safe enough to open up and really get to the bottom of my trauma that was holding me prisoner for so long. ❤️
