Experiencia fantástica: Dr Gross is a whiz with muscles, and the how/why things are the way they are. He drilled down on why my hips were hurting, taught me exercises to strengthen the muscles and now I'm feeling almost 100% after just two visits. He's open to hearing about symptoms anywhere on the body and helping fix the root of the problem. The education is so valuable and he emails videos of the recommended exercises. That is in addition/complementing chiropractic adjustments. He was recommended by my crossfit gym, and I'm very happy I found Dr. Gross!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had such a great experience with Val and Dr Montgomery. I made an appointment from a friend’s recommendation and I’m so glad I did! I went in with tingling in my arms and EXTREMELY tight shoulders (trapezius muscles.) Val gave me exercises that literally stopped the tingling THAT DAY. Through a short series of visits, I’ve gotten some massage/stretching, chiropractic adjustments, and exercises to do at home. I feel sooooooo much better than when I became a new patient a few weeks ago.

I had such severe pain in my neck and back, it would radiate down my arms and legs to the point that I was crying to my PCP for better drugs because NOTHING would touch it. From the very first appt at Active Motion, the pain subsided. I couldn't believe it. It's been a couple of months now; I have ups and downs, but the overall trend is toward healing and relief, and when I do the prescribed exercises, improvement is noticeable on a daily basis. This isn't a rack-em-and-crack-em place. It's chiropractic, physical therapy, soft tissue work, etc., whatever's needed to get you to a place of sustainable well-being. It's been a fantastic experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Coming to Active Motion and meeting with Dr. Montgomery has been life changing for me. I am currently enduring spinal stenosis in my neck and thoracic spine which makes things like flexibility and walking difficult. Since December 2022, I have been receiving care that has helped me to lessen my lower back pain considerably and even give me some flexibility back. I am to the point of needing surgery for further care, but I cannot deny the awesome help I have been getting at Active. Dr. Montgomery and his whole crew are awesome! Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Montgomery, RJ and Joey were phenomenal!!! I was dying w/ body pain and limited range of movement for a few months. I had sought out care from a local chiropractor who I had been seeing regularly for a few months (prior to my injury) and this chiro messed me up worse than I was- after I told him I had an injury that caused me excruciating pain. Right upon visiting my sister in Washington, she was able to connect me with Dr. Montgomery right away and he as well as RJ were able to take care of me and get me on track immediately. I was really intrigued by their approach to my care and learned that seeing a chiropractor and adjustments doesn’t necessarily always mean “snap, crackle, pop” and you’re done. They took a whole new approach of diagnosing my issues w/ a detailed, verbal interview and a physical evaluation w/ therapy exercises. Experiencia fantástica: WOW! A whole new approach to Chiropractic! I've been to dozens of chiropractors throughout my life. They all went something like this: I come in, I pay, I get adjusted, I feel better, and then the pain comes back and thus so do I. It was always a never ending cycle. I could never figure out 1: Why are my issues occurring, and 2: how do I keep the progress I get at the Chiropractors to stick? When I came to see Dr. Montgomery I was taken aback with how detailed his assessment was. He not only found out where my pain was coming from, but he also took the time to show me how it was affecting how I move. The senior resident I worked with was always checking and rechecking both my pain and how my movement was so I could really understand that we we're making progress. It was really cool to have the Chiropractic residents working in the clinic. You would never know they're just finishing their education, and Dr. Montgomery is so candid and transparent with the residents and patients. Adjusting was part of my treatment (which felt so great!) but it was not the emphasis. They really wanted ME to have all the tools to make myself better - He even told me that he does not want me to be a patient for long! What a breath of fresh air. I was given exercises on an app to address my breathing and core strength among all the other movements to help my pain. Im now going weeks without any flare ups of pain and usually because I stopped doing the work. Thanks so much to Dr. Montgomery and his team!

I had been having low back and leg pain on and off for months and Dr. Montgomery and his team were the only people who were able to relieve it. They take a very different approach to chiropractic care and really focused on the root of my problem, which was my low back. They explained to me that the low back can cause pain into the leg, and they gave me an exercise that I can use to get rid of my leg pain all on my own. There was never a specific time I injured my back before, but the pain had gotten to the point I was having a difficult time golfing. Dr. Montgomery was very thorough in his examination and spent a good period of time explaining what he thought I had going on which made me feel comfortable. He was able to address my breathing and some other bad body mechanics that were probably contributing to my back pain. After adjustments and some massage there were always exercises that I enjoyed. Dr.Montgomery and his multidisciplinary team have proven to be the some of the best chiropractors I've ever worked with. Dr.Montgomery has backgrounds in different areas such as rehab, strength training, and massage in addition to chiropractic care to help take the best multidisciplinary approach to care and assessment of your well being. As a powerlifter who was dealing with lots of aches and pains Dr.Montgomery was able to help rid me of all my ailments and was even able to give me a proper warm-up to use with my workouts that helped rid me of my back pain. He even helped rid me of my headaches which was an issue I didn't even come in for. One of their employees Heather helped me book my appointment and was very helpful through my whole billing process. Overall, Dr.Montgomery is a chiropractor who truly cares about your well being and you will not be sorry you booked with him.

I came in very hesitant to get adjustments but instantly felt comfortable and trusting thanks Dr. Montgomery’s knowledge and client care. I came in hurting badly from so much back pain that had progressively become worse, leaving me in so much discomfort and with low mobility. I worked with Connor Fairweather and Dr. Montgomery. They were both thorough in their assessments and took the time to educate me along the way. It was apparent how much care they truly have for their clients. After practicing and leaning many exercises I had already begun to feel a major difference. I felt comfortable letting them both do adjustments and I was so glad that I did! Experiencia fantástica: I have had feet and back problems for nearly 30 years. I was told by a podiatrist that I would need surgery and most likely need pain meds. I’ve had 4 orthotics done for every type of shoe. Years of shots in both feet and ankles. Etc. I tell you that to tell you this, these guys are DIFFERENT. I really like my previous chiropractor and I have had 6 in 30 years. I have never been somewhere that not only provides me with immediate relief, they give me stretches and exercises so I can do it myself without a visit when I am in pain. I only wish I could give more stars If you have tried everything from shots, pills, chiropractic, naturopathy, to acupuncture, and had no real relief it is worth one visit. They are sorcerers! Magicians really. They are out of the box and effective. I refer everyone that will listen to them.

On my first visit, they took an extensive medical history and gave me some exercises to do at home to help relieve my pain. On my subsequent 3 visits, the practitioner followed up from the previous visit and gave me more exercises and adjustments. After today’s 4th visit, I am nearly 100% pain free. I will definitely go back anytime the pain or stiffness in my neck and back recurs.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had limited joint movement, chronic pain & discomfort, and an escalation in migraines over the past several years. I was getting massages, doing pelvic floor therapy & exercises, sauna visits, regular hiking & exercise, and all the other self-care therapies I could get my hands on. The first visit I had was at another facility, and I left not knowing a whole lot, and feeling like it was another appointment to add to my calendar every week. They are passionate advocates for teaching you about your body and giving you the tools to heal/strengthen your own body and learn to support your own goals by engaging in creative problem solving for how to make this accessible in your day to day life going forwards...so that it doesn't feel like you're doing anything different! The breadth of knowledge and intuition I now have into my own body is staggering. I walked away from only 2 appointments feeling like I could cry-because they changed my whole enjoyment in life that quickly! I can add on those self-care therapies when I want if I find them enjoyable, but I'm no longer NEEDING them! I no longer end every day by laying on my heating pad, and I feel better than I have in YEARS! I can't speak highly enough of this place and these wonderful people! I am so blown away at the care I have received!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough about what amazing care I have received at Active Motion. In 5 weekly visits, I have had amazing improvement. I went in with the inability to sweep, mop without severe, nauseating pain in my back. I could not get up and down from chair without lower back pain. I have gradually seen improvement each week and today was the best of all. Since heart surgery over 3 years ago, I have had no ability to raise my right shoulder more than approximately half way up above my head and recently the left shoulder was becoming not much better. In one visit, with a new exercise shown to me, I can raise both my arms above my head and being able to do this was something I thought would never be possible again, at least with my right shoulder. I have to tell you, this made me break down and cry in front of these wonderful miracle workers, tears of joy. I followed their exercise regimen faithfully everyday and it has paid off. Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Dr. Montgomery for years as I've aged (I'll soon be 66) and different injuries presented themselves. His clinic, Active Motion Spine & Rehab is the best chiropractic clinic to which I've ever gone. Dr. Montgomery actually teaches interns how to be chiropractors so you get up-to-date treatments done the right way. What I most appreciate about Dr. Montgomery's treatments is that he doesn't stop at making you feel back to normal for a time. He goes beyond that to help ensure that you don't have a relapse in the future. That's the main difference in my view between going to an MD and Dr. Montgomery. The MD might prescribe muscle relaxers for two weeks and nothing else, while Dr. Montgomery's clinic will focus on an actual permanent cure or solution. The "cure" might involve exercises and stretches (maybe you'll even want to do them for life) to strengthen and maintain the damaged areas. If you want things done right, Dr. Montgomery's clinic is for you.

He won’t just adjust and send you on your way, he will teach you preventative maintenance for the body to keep you running strong! His interns are learning good thing from him.

Experiencia fantástica: I originally saw Dr. Montgomery when he filled in for another chiropractor who was treating me after being rear ended and rammed into the car ahead of me. I was amazed. Dr. Montgomery had given me the most thorough adjustment I had ever had, but I continued seeing the original chiropractor. Over the years, I saw other chiropractors as well. Then, I found Dr. Montgomery again, and he (again) gave me the most helpful adjustment I've ever had. I won't be trying other chiropractors because they never gave me the same level of help that Dr. Montgomery does. Going into treatment, you have to be committed to doing your homework. And, if your insurance covers it, you need to combine massage into your care. If you are working from home and suffering from tension and discomfort in your neck, shoulders, and back, I highly advise seeking help. You will feel like a new person when you are done.

I also don't like being touched with makes going to any doctor, for anything, nerve-wrecking. They were very professional by always letting me know where they were going to put their hands and explain as thoroughly as they could what was going to be done. That made me feel at ease. After my first appointment, I did notice an improvement. Once it wasn't necessary for me to make appointments anymore, an entire year went by when another injury happened. It was my neck and shoulder. Again I phoned, made an appointment and felt like I was being heard and believed about my pain. So long as you do the exercises assigned to you at home, you will heal.
