He not only got me out if pain but was able to get to the root cause so i can stay pain free. Tom is amazing - knowledgeable, professional, kind and really cares to find the right solution. I also appreciate that as a 60 year old female casual athlete, he put his emphasis on the ‘athlete’ and not my age. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Northlake PT after suffering a major attack of sciatica/piriformis syndrome. I could barely walk and my leg was still in pain, my back was in pain. My foot was totally numb and I was sad. After nearly 4 months of sessions with Northlake I can happily report that I am almost 100% back to normal. The folks at Northlake treated me with respect and care and, proved to me that physical therapy really works! I would recommend these people 100%. I even got a free T-shirt for graduating.

Experiencia fantástica: I saw Dr. Tom about some nagging climber’s (aka golfer’s) elbow. Tom was wonderfully empathetic and a great listener with my concerns about the injury and long term lifestyle and activity goals. His treatment plan went very well and I’m back to climbing, mountain biking, and playing softball at full strength with a more rigorous and strategic warm up routine. He’s given me a great suite of tools to help myself should it crop back up. I highly recommend Tom and his team for any of your PT needs. And especially if it’s a rock climbing injury, Tom is your guy!

Experiencia fantástica: I specifically sought these guys out for my PT after using them at the end of rehabbing a previous injury. I wished I had used them the entire time during the previous injury, so I made sure I went straight to them this time when recovering from shoulder surgery. They were always organized and helpful with scheduling, including automated reminders for my sessions and working with my schedule to get in for my PT. Aaron, Lily, and Mac were great to work with. Always encouraging and ready to answer my many questions. The clinic is well-appointed and I got a number of ideas for exercises to keep my shoulders strong. I definitely recommend these guys for any PT needs.

I have been recovering from three knee surgeries and my strength and balance are impacted by Parkinson’s Disease. Aaron is extremely knowledgeable about my condition and has developed a plan of care that has greatly improved my lifestyle. The PT Aides, Lily and MacKenzie, are encouraging and supportive. They are also fun and motivate me to do my best at each therapy appointment. The atmosphere in the PT space is professional yet personal. I feel like the whole staff feels invested in my improvement. Experiencia fantástica: I had a total hip replacement on October 31, just 3.5 months ago. The team at the SE Portland location were fantastic. Led by Aaron and assisted by MacKenzie and Lily, the experience could not have gone any better. Today was my last PT. This team listens to your needs and encourages you through the process of recovery. I can't say enough about these guys. I'm lucky to say that I get to come back in the next 6 weeks or so, because I'm having the other hip replaced next month. I know my recovery was hastened because of this great team! You guys rock! Dr. Holtz has helped me for years, recovering from a variety of injuries including shoulder, back, knee, and ankle issues. My latest injury was to my groin which is now feeling better then ever, thanks to him! He is extremely knowledgable, listens well, and is clearly experienced when it comes to diagnosis and creating a recovery plan. I highly recommend Dr. Holtz and the whole North Lake team. 10/10.

Experiencia fantástica: I've worked with Aaron and his staff at North Lake PT numerous times. I'll tell you what, they really know how to get you back to full strength. Having gone through multiple knee surgeries in the last year and a half, I was a bit unsure of how to appropriately tackle the rehabilitation process and they took all my uncertainty away. The detail and care they put into each session (and client) is unbelievable and made me feel confident in getting back to full health. PT is never easy, but their efforts have given me confidence to continue getting stronger at my own gym now that I'm back to my regular workout schedule! Thanks!

But Dr. Holtz and the Northlake staff have been a dream to work with always finding time for me and helping work through the dozens of ailments and injuries I’ve thrown at them. I worked with them for a few months while I recovered from a broken ankle and surgery and I am glad to be almost fully recovered and back to doing what I love. They explained everything they were doing with me at each step and were realistic with me on timelines and home exercises. I’d highly recommend them to anyone but especially if you are an athletic person and looking to get back into doing the athletics you enjoy as soon as possible!

Back to my regular activity and feeling stronger than I was before thanks to the training and strength routine I worked on with my PT. I had the opportunity to work with Erik Meira, PT, SCS, CSCS for a long standing hip injury that had me sidelined from recreational activity. As a physical therapist myself, I knew I needed treatment and wanted to seek out an expert in the field. Erik is just that. He was honest and thoughtful regarding my prognosis and gave specific exercises geared at correcting the dysfunction. My goal is to avoid surgery and a PT like Erik and the folks at BDPT are the people to see if you want expert therapy. The clinic is well-equipped , state-of-the-art and very accessible even for someone like me who doesn't live in Portland. Experiencia fantástica: I’m am absolutely amazed at the progress I made at North Lake PT. When I started I only expected minimal progress. Aaron told me differently and promised me he would get me beyond that. Aaron has been absolutely amazing. He didn’t have much to work with as my surgeon was only able to reattach one tendon following my rotator cuff tear surgery. I have been in PT 4 1/2 months and graduated today. I feel I’m at 95% healed. I say 95% because I realize I will have limitations. Coming into PT I was hoping to eventually lift my arm up. I’ve regained so much more than that. I can’t say enough about Aaron . Noah has also been instrumental in my healing. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You made me believe in miracles ❤️

I asked Aaron tons of questions about my treatment options and returning to sports, and he answered them thoroughly. He also did a great job explaining the exercises and pushing me to improve. The whole staff was very encouraging and made an effort to get to know me, which made me look forward to going to physical therapy. I feel a lot stronger after working with them, and I’ve recommended them to several friends. The facility is clean and bright, with plenty of parking and newer equipment. Experiencia fantástica: Great place for physical therapy!! I am a D1 rower recovering from a hip/back injury and had a great experience getting therapy at North Lake. I worked mostly with Aaron and Noah who are so nice and friendly and helped me a lot. I also met Sarah and Logan, the whole staff is super supportive and will push you to work harder every day. I feel a lot stronger after working with them for four weeks. Highly recommend!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently relocated to Portland, OR with a need for PT, due to balance and stance issues, as a seasoned adult. Dr Bowen, referred me to North Lake PT. Fellow Seniors . . .I found when COVID hit, I seemed to ignore my much needed foot care. Callus issues, feet burning and balance seemed off. The referral for PT was a very needed service. The staff all are caring and really helped with resolving the pain and getting me back to being more active. Thanks to all at North Lake Physical Therapy.

The morning consisted of assisted stretching after a warm up routine followed by detailed examples of particular exercises. Using the MedBridgeGo app I have access to the same routine with examples. They got me sorted in 6 or so sessions, highly recommend.

Matt is fabulous and does an excellent job of keeping me challenged. Arron has always been very supportive. Sarah and Noah are doing an excellent job of encouraging me every step of the way. I would have say North Lake Physical Therapy in Hollywood is a great place to get back on track.

Halsey location in Portland. For the past three years I have been receiving weekly physical therapy for my not-getting-younger physical condition and neuropathy issues in my legs and feet. As well as following the wise and patient direction of my Physical Therapist Aaron Holtz, his oversight of support staff makes each weekly experience totally satisfactory from all corners of the clinic.
