Experiencia fantástica: The Neuro Rehab Center is the best!! Everyone from the front office to the therapists are just amazing. What I loved most was the individual attention each therapist gives their patient so they can watch their progress and rate it properly. I'm just so pleased and impressed with the care I received during my therapy time with my therapist Christiana, here at 8th Ave. I'm able to practice at home what I was taught, the only thing missing is the smiling happy faces of the therapists. I would highly recommend the 8th Avenue Neuro Center to anyone who needs therapy!! Thank you , thank you, thank you!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have a fairly rare vestibular disorder - PPPD. I have been dealing with it for 7 years. I have had VRT 2 other times at other places to no avail. Medication has not helped. This is the first time that I have found someone (Betsy) who actually knew what PPPD was and how to work with me to alleviate my symptoms. She adapted my therapy to my day to day life and showed me ways to cope with situations that aggravate my dizziness. She was the first person to explain to me what was happening when I experienced dizziness and why. Even my neurologist never did that. I highly recommend St. Luke’s Neurology physical therapy center to anyone with vestibular disorders. And Betsy is fabulous!

Experiencia fantástica: Great facility, runs on time, was easy to get consistent appointments around my work schedule, Olivia is wonderful and resolved my ongoing vertigo problem that I suffered with for 6 months, even *after* initially seeing a doctor for the issue. She also educated me along the way...I would not hesitate to request her again for her professionalism, bedside manner, and support, and ultimately the resolution of my vertigo.

Experiencia fantástica: I used to fall while I was walking. After working with Christy, I no longer have that issue. Christy was so kind and had a great sense of humor. I’ve been in PT many times, and I’ve been with many therapists. Christy is the best!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Kristen T was wonderful, though my MS is permanent, I saw great improvement in strength and endurance. My coordination still is lousy, but she taught me how to focus and compensate and control my functions.

There is no 'cure', but I feel certain i can be the best possible following this routine. All personnel, including the front desk, were knowledgeable, upbeat, efficient, and effective.

I left when my time was up, feeling not only stronger, physically but also more secure emotionally and mentally. Experiencia fantástica: I was having some issues with balance, and was recommended to go to balance therapy/physical therapy at St. Luke’s. Quite frankly, I had never heard of this type of physical therapy before and at first was skeptical as to whether or not this was going to help my situation. From the very first appointment my therapist, Olivia was amazing. She took a lot of time to really analyze my personal situation…when my dizziness was happening and the potential causes. She got to know me personally, my daily habits, and things that were triggering my issue. We started with an evaluation and she built a plan week by week with exercises that would Hopefully help diminish what I was experiencing. She always checked in to see if anything had changed, if my symptoms had gotten better or worse, and if I had been experiencing issues, what was triggering them. She always checked in with me during appointments to make sure that I was ready to go onto the next task or if I needed to take a break. She did a midpoint evaluation and we realized that I had improved quite a bit so we cut my therapy down from two days to one day. All of this was done by communicating with me and asking me If I thought that I was ready to do that. I’m happy to have graduated and no longer need to go for therapy. We’ve left my case open for 30 days just in case something pops up, but Olivia Reassured me that I could reach out anytime with any questions or problems. The level of kindness and caring I received from Olivia and St. Luke’s is beyond anything I could have ever expected. Unfortunately, I’ve seen a lot of doctors in the last four years because of health issues. Most of which were a different health network. I felt seen, I felt heard, And I felt like I was being treated as a unique individual. There was genuine concern and caring. If you are having an issue with dizziness or balance, there’s help out there for you. Don’t hesitate to speak to your doctor or contact St. Luke’s to set up physical therapy. I had my treatment at eighth Avenue in Bethlehem.

Experiencia fantástica: I originally came into physical therapy for extreme, unnatural dizziness, balance, and improvement in my gate after being diagnosed with a dangerously low Vitamin B12 level. Ever since the start I have worked with the most patient, understanding, and problem solving therapist I have ever met, Olivia Miller. Not only did she give back my life, but she really gets to know you and takes time to personally encourage you to be your best and get the most out of therapy. I know it sounds cheesy, but I now have hope again, I don’t feel dejected or handicapped by what ailed me. She truly is kind, directed, and over all, the best therapist I could’ve asked for when I truly needed it.

Experiencia fantástica: My name is Bonita Ricks. I was a patient at the St. Luke’s physical therapy department for not nine months due to a stroke. During that time I was assigned to physical, speech and occupational therapists. Each therapist was a model of intelligence, kindness, and understanding with patience. I would highly recommend recommend St. Luke’s physical therapy department without hesitate. Particular, I was assigned to George, physical therapist; Brittany, occupational therapist; Kelsey, occupational therapist; Madison, physical therapist intern; and speech therapists Jessica, Rachel, Maria, and Heather. Those therapists listened and responded to my physical complaints, weaknesses and strengths. Their techniques or exercises were very helpful to me. The validations I received from each therapist was a great source of encouragement. Sometime I felt very low. But their validation helped me to go to go on. I felt safe and comfortable with each of them. I would highly greatly recommend Saint Luke’s physical department. I learned a lot that helps me go through life as a stoke victim.

She is caring, knowledgeable and so friendly! Not only do they have amazing staff, from the check in staff to all the staff in the back, they have a pretty amazing pup that works there too! If I ever have to work on this dizziness again, I know exactly where I am going to do so!

Not many doctors in general know much about treatment for this issue, but Gabby has been able to work with me for 8 months with a specialized program focused on improving my vestibular system and balance. It has been a huge help with my improvement!

Experiencia fantástica: I just finished working with George Fischer for 10 incredibly rewarding months! Originally coming in for vestibular therapy (vertigo), George took notice to the autonomic nervous system condition I was diagnosed with 15 years ago. He immediately started me on the Dallas POTS Protocol. I was unemployed, fainting multiple times a day, and unable to do recumbent exercises on our first day. I am currently working three days a week and walking on the treadmill for up to 4 miles! Canceling or rescheduling was never an issue, the receptionists are incredibly nice and very patient. All therapists keep their equipment sanitized and organized. It's a great atmosphere and I am so grateful to have come across this amazing facility!

Experiencia fantástica: I came to see Kristen Topping after my PCP referred me to St. Luke's Neuro Rehab Center for what she believed to be positional vertigo. During my initial evaluation Kristen coached me through some gentle testing to determine the true cause of what felt like months of dizziness. Kristen helped me understand what was going on and gave me the confidence and support I needed to start feeling better. Additionally, Kristen and her team were able to accommodate my therapy virtually when I needed it. I am a new mom with endless worries, but being able to care for my health and start to feel better is no longer one of them! Huge thanks to Kristen and the St. Luke's Neuro Rehab team!

I actually look forward to going to my therapies, which is something I definitely didn’t feel before at my prior therapists. George helps me to safely improve my mobility and always takes my pain level into consideration when trying new exercises. Experiencia fantástica: This was my 1st time I had to do physical therapy and I was extremely satisfied with the personnel here. All the staff members here are polite and courteous. My physical therapist Stephanie was very helpful and honest with me. She answered any questions I asked. She made sure I came and did all the necessary requirements for my amputated leg. She had me do stretching exercises 1st before we did anything else. Sasha is my occupational therapist and she was honest and helpful also. She helped me build up my hand and arm strength. I was very satisfied coming here and I would recommend others to come to this facility.

Very caring and extremely Professional! The procedures that they have work with me on have been very successful and help my recovery! Experiencia fantástica: This is by far the best group of medical professionals in the Physical Therapy and Rehab network within the Lehigh Valley. I was referred to the Eighth Ave. Office for treatment of Post Concussive Symptoms after a hockey injury left me in pretty bad shape. I was experiencing memory loss, difficulty focusing and vision/speech/balance issues. The team worked with me twice a week to ensure that I recovered safely and fully. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to get me back on track and back to work.
