Experiencia fantástica: ***EDIT*** I was contacted today from this review and was given excellent communication about my experience and how we can improve it. ***Second edit*** 6/10/24: I had to re-re-review this because my experience with intercommunity started with some communication issues that were frustrating. However, since making this review I’ve developed quite the relationship with intercommunity. They addressed my concern very quickly after my initial review, and have gone above and beyond to remedy the communication problem. I can’t imagine how stressful it gets working at this location- I’ve witnessed staff being cussed at and belittled in the waiting room during most of my in-person appointments. Although I don’t believe that they should have to deal with this type of treatment at all; they are truly amazing humans for continuously helping those that would certainly be denied elsewhere. Awesomely compassionate staff. 10 stars.

Experiencia negativa: You say we do not detox for this particular drug. A drug is a drug, is a drug. Get with the program. Shame on you!!!! People are hurting!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: This place denied someone who relapsed recently. All because he had subs in his system from when he got out. He took 1 sub n relapsed. N now, because this place won't accept him back, he is going to use. So thanks for not helping those who are BEGGING for help. WORST PLACE EVER.

Experiencia fantástica: Ive been through this detox a handful of times. They have always been caring and have a good bedside manner. They also make sure to keep you VERY comfortable which is so important while going through detox

Experiencia negativa: They obligated my friend to leave detox on memorial day without him speaking to a conselour about his followup on programs. Basically left him on the street and he has been calling to speak to his counselor for a referral to a program and never got a call back. Only choice was going into a different detox where they will make sure he leaves directly to a program.

Experiencia negativa: The clinical director Kevin is extremely racist towards whites. There's an RSS named Dave who has a habit of messing with clients (including locking a client in her room) the clinical staff fails to address problems as they manifest and shows favoritism towards blacks. The food is hospital grade. And the living conditions are subpar. Staff in general has a habit of disclosing information about clients to other clients that should remain confidential. Allowed a client (Hillary) to stay even though she was caught on camera stealing.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to get a Covid test because I came in contact with some people that became positive. I checked around for a ASAP location so I ended up here. It's a drive up and long story short, it takes forever+. The people are friendly so they get a 2* for that. I should have checked in advance, but I got billed $136.58 to sit in my car and get swabbed that took 40 minutes of total time from start to finish. They want you to add some app to get your results, but I tried, it didn't work so I said $crew this. I have insurance that covered most of it, but in 2 1/2 years I've never had to pay for a Test so be cautious.

Experiencia positiva: The staff are really friendly and go above and beyond. I like coming here. I am a fairly new patient but I like what I’ve seen so far. If anything changes I will update this review.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place! Employees are rude gossiping about their boss in front of patients. Leaving new patients waiting for 4 hours before they can be checked in. Very poorly run lack empathy and compassion for people who are struggling. All of them should be fired. If you are thinking about going here DON'T there are better places to go to receive the treatment you require.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible! Most of the staff in the Detox program are rude and very unprofessional! They are toxic to anyones recovery. Staff members are allowed to harass and put hands on clients and interfere with their recovery and get away with it! If you like toxicity and drama this is the place for you but if you really care about your recovery and want to focus on just that I suggest you stay far away from this ghetto facility that is staffed with nothing but hoodrats and people who are only there for a paycheck nothing else!

Experiencia negativa: Was At this place less then 24hours , After being screened to enter into detox treatment, they waited till the next day to call a ambulance due to health issues I’ve already had …… now at the hospital they received a phone can. That they don’t want me back ……. So I’ve been denied help wig getting my clean so I can better my life

Experiencia positiva: Counselors are pretty nice and decently educated. Food is good but honestly their could be more access to it during snacking and even meal times. Bedrooms are good enough to sleep in while dining off of hard drugs, and they do medicate you well here. All in all the place for me for detox.
