Experiencia fantástica: Aug 2024 update: About 4 months ago, I experienced a running injury which led to glute pain and lower back pain. After my visit with my PCP, he suggested PT and asked if I had a provider in mind. I told him that I wanted to use Total Physical Therapy because of the outstanding experience my wife had in late 2023 / early 2024. I have been seeing Ben at Total Physical Therapy. Ben is also a runner and I appreciated being setup with him. I am out of PT, pain free and back to the sport I love - running. Besides the usual PT exercises, Ben weaved in various warmup routines for me that I had not been doing. Overall, Total Physical Therapy is a top notch organization; A+++. Should I need PT in the future, they are the place I will go to. My wife had an excellent experience with the physical therapy with Lee. Unfortunately, she has had many sessions at other facilities. This time it was for a torn meniscus (knee injury). Lee and the others at Total Physical Therapy were the best she has experienced. She was not rushed through the process and Lee took care to strengthen her with a variety of exercises. Also, the mobile app was a great tool for home exercises and follow-up care. She highly recommends Total Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I went there a few months ago and I got Great help, Ralph and Lee are the Best , they helped me out Alot and BOTH of them are so sweet and nice. I would recommend them anytime. If you need Therapy look them up , and tell them Mona , sent you. GOD BLESS

Experiencia fantástica: I love the positive energy and cheerful atmosphere at Total Physical Therapy. The staff are kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. On my first visit, Michael evaluated my injury, pain, and physical therapy needs. He was very encouraging, and explained what would be involved in the healing process. He gave me a few exercises to do at home. My physical therapist Yvonne is very caring and focused. She notices things I was not aware of in the way I’m moving! She’s showing me what I need to change in order to reduce pain and help heal my injury. She has given me more exercises to do at home, and answers any questions I have. I’m only a few sessions in to the physical therapy, but already starting to feel some benefits. It is giving me hope, and confidence that I’ll be able to get better! Brenda Davidson

Only two visits so far, but I am seeing great results from the prescribed treatment and exercise program. I highly recommend checking them out! You don't need a referral from a primary care provider.

Experiencia fantástica: Travelling Route 66 and started to suffer from an extreme pain in neck & shoulder - an ongoing problem for many months now and has a habit of flaring up. However I searched online for local Physio Therapists in Amarillo, Texas and I was delighted to find these guys - wow what amazing people! I called in on the off chance and they where extremely accommodating and got me seen straight away - I had a one hour appointment which immediately helped. I couldn’t of asked for better 100% big thumbs up from me

Experiencia fantástica: I’m very impressed with the one-on-one sessions provided by TPT. My past experience with PT was unfortunate (without mentioning any names). I received 10 or 15 minutes with the therapist and was then put in a corner and told to work on my own. I never went back after that first session. At TPT, however, the therapists (or assistants) spend the whole hour working with me. I’ve had 3 sessions and I can already tell an improvement in my neck and back.

Experiencia fantástica: Best thing I ever did for myself. I had no faith going into it because my problems are ongoing, and I had already been to several doctors - none of which really helped. But Michael works with me and he is knowledgeable, compassionate, and honestly just really good at his job. I will forever be thankful to him and TPT. It has made me feel so much better physically and has given me back confidence in myself that I didn’t realize I had lost through all of my health issues. Will always recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: At the beginning of 2020, I was running a 5K race and in full stride rolled my ankle over a dog bone. I didn’t break my foot/ankle, but I did tear almost every tendon. I was in a book for over 9 weeks and then an ankle brace for one month. My doctor encouraged me to get physical therapy to get back in running shape again. I had been to a few after group runs and get togethers at Total Physical Therapy and so I decided to give them a try. Michael worked with me very diligently and I am back to running again. The entire staff is very pleasant and always willing to assist. I am very grateful for all the help I got from TPT. I know without their services I would not have made the progress I was able to make.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are caring and knowledgeable. All the therapists are friendly and prompt. Everything is kept clean and sanitized. I had eight sessions and got good results. I signed up for a continuing program for a very affordable price which gives me access to the equipment and the advice of therapists to continue strengthening my body.

Experiencia fantástica: Als ich akut einen starken Schmerz in meiner Schulter spürte sah ich mich nach Physio Therapeuten in der Nähe um. So kam ich auf Total Physical Therapy. Ich befinde mich auf einer Durchreise quer durch die USA, also war ich nur diese Nacht in Amarillo. Ich rief kurz vor Feierabend an und bekam sofort einen Termin am folgenden Tag in der Früh. Ich kann Michael als Therapeuten sehr empfehlen! Er ist freundlich, und sehr kompetent! Meine Schmerzen waren danach deutlich geringer. Michael gab mir einige Übungen mit Videobeispielen und ein Band mit um die nächsten Tage einige Übungen zu machen. Wir stehen weiter in Kontakt um den Fortschritt zu beurteilen. Das nenne ich Kundenfreundlichkeit!

I’ve been feeling really frustrated as a runner with some knee pain that hasn’t been going away with “at home” attempts to subdue it. After my visit I’m feeling hopeful and motivated that with the right work I don’t have to feel like this forever. Experiencia fantástica: I went to Total Physical Therapy after a nasty horse kick to the inside of my knee left me with a large hematoma, limited range of motion and atrophied muscles. My first appointment with Michael was amazingly detailed, and I was given some helpful exercises to do at home. The rest of my appointments with Lily were excellent, and she was the perfect mix of gently pushing me, while also being understanding of my limitations. She was personable, and I enjoyed chatting with her while we went through the therapy. I still have some tenderness and the hematoma is still healing (may take months), but my knee function feels excellent, and I think I may be in better shape than before I started physical therapy! Administratively, the office went above and beyond. My phone has connection issues, so they happily did all communication through email, at my request. They also welcomed my two young children with open arms when I had to bring them along, and even helped to keep them occupied! I am more than happy with my experience here, and would absolutely return for any future need. Thank you guys!

If your insurance allows it, I recommend this place over any other physical therapy location in town. Again, I've been twice and both time they helped get back to 100%.

Experiencia negativa: The man who evaluated me needs to go back to school. Stenosis and bulging discs are NOT the same thing, and all 80 year Olds do NOT have Stenosis. Not happy with his lack of knowledge!

Experiencia fantástica: I love Total Physical Therapy! The staff is wonderful! I have been on multiple occasions, and each therapist I have had is very knowledgeable. They know exactly what to do. I have been sent home with exercise instructions each time in order to continue my therapy at home that are very easy to follow and understand. My son has been here for sports injuries as well. He broke a couple bones in his fingers and we were provided excellent care and follow up instructions to get the strength back in his hand. From minor aches, sprains and recovery, TPT well exceeds my expectations. I will most definitely be using them for any further needs.
