Experiencia fantástica: I suffered with vertigo for several years. It was so bad that I fell twice. When I take the med prescribed , I would not be able to get out of bed for an entire day. I was also unable to drive to see my mom as I would be so sick. Finally my ENT sent me to Florida Balance Center. Tom was very knowledgeable and experienced with the vestibular and balance treatment. I was very impressed. Esther was kind and helped to ease my anxiety.. Well the treatment was so successful as it has been over one year since my last treatment and I am doing very well. Thanks to Tom and Esther. Forever grateful. I highly recommend anyone suffering from vertigo and dizziness to Florida Balance Center. You will never regret it.

The exercises helped me and I felt so much better the more I did them. Dr Patullo & Esther are very caring with all their patients. Experiencia fantástica: I was skeptical about going the first time. My nerves almost got the best of me. But I honestly am so glad that I went. I was so scared that being dizzy was my new way of life. That is not the case. I felt so comfortable there. They made me feel so comfortable and confident. I had tried exercises at home and it made it worse. But within a few of being there and him guiding me I was already feeling better. Fast forward to my second visit, I woke up thinking, oh I’m fine now, should I even go back? I am very relieved that I did. This is something you have to commit to for your own well being. I did a couple exercises today and to my surprise I didn’t do them as well as I should’ve. I am going to stick with it! They do such an amazing job for people here! There was a man there who graduates tomorrow. He was doing exercises like a pro. I said to him wow you’re a pro he said I didn’t start out this way. Keep up with it. Sorry this is getting long but most importantly, if you are even considering going, do it! They will help tremendously! Thanks guys

Experiencia negativa: This place is no good for verdigo rehabilitation they don’t even give you half an hour for yourself training, you have share your time with a large group in this tiny space you have no idea what your doing no instructions waste of your precious time, but they charge like they taught you something ridiculous.

Experiencia fantástica: Best vestibular therapy and acupuncture. I was treated at FBC for dizziness in the past and I was for more than 7 years without any symptoms. Tom is very knowledgeable and caring in what he does and Esther a good complement for the treatment, they make a great combination

Experiencia fantástica: Outstanding staff and service! Esther at the front desk was extremely personable and made the process seamless. I had an MRI with my orthopedic doctor who recommended I go through a nerve block procedure of the facet joint. I was not to thrilled about going through that type of procedure and preferred something more invasive. To be honest, I was reluctant about acupuncture since I have 4 herniated disc's in my neck. After three sessions with Tom, my pain was GONE! I can honestly say, it is the best therapy I have gone through in my life. I actually went back for a lingering back pain that I've had for years not related to my neck and he successfully treated that as well. I HIGHLY recommend that you schedule an appointment and go see Tom. It will be the best decision if you are actively in pain.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a bad fall and was in great pain for 2 weeks until I decided to seek help. My insurance has agreement with this clinic and is very close to my home. I also have a tendonitis in my left hand. Dr Thomas asked many questions and then we started the treatment. How wonderful! With only 2 sessions, I could already sit without pain or discomfort. Today, my 3rd. visit I feel even better. I highly recommend it for sure! Esther and Nelly are also very helpful. Thank you very for your kindness.

Experiencia fantástica: Tom is amazing. I saw him for a few weeks after a panic attack landed me in ER for 3hrs. He is much more than an acupuncturist, he is a healer. I was in the middle of an anxiety episode and he helped me by breathing and reassuring me that I would be ok. All this happened on our first session. I trust him and I highly recommend him.

The office staffing, Mrs Nelly and Briana have been awesome with working around my schedule and contacting me for my next appointment. I am local firefighter and lifeguard so my work hours are very demanding and odd. These jobs have also been very demanding and straining on my body. An for the longest of time I’ve had constant aches and pains all over especially in my shoulder. But acupuncture physician Mr. Patullo has really taken the time to find and relieve my pain. I highly recommend the Florida Balance center to anyone who’s looking for the best in alternative medicine.

Experiencia fantástica: My 88 year old dad was referred due to vertigo which he had off and on his entire life. The treatment was easy and the vertigo was resolved. While there, he mentioned his ongoing nighttime leg cramps: another life-long problem. The leg cramps were treated over several sessions. My dad is now 92 years old and has had no vertigo or leg crams for 4 years.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love Tom and recommend Acupunture to all my friends. I discovered acupuncture last year after a car accident. I was rear ended pretty hard and ended up with a herniated disk and 2 bulging disks in my neck. I had a major headache everyday for literally 3 months! I was going to physical therapy and chiropractor as recommended but wasn’t feeling any better. I get nauseous on pain killers so I didn’t want to take them and the doctors next recommendation was an epidural injection in my neck...yikes! I decided I did not want that and that I would try something else first. Talking to a friend, she recommended Tom! In 2 visits doing acupuncture, my headaches were totally gone! I was so impressed and so thankful to be feeling better. Tom is super professional, very kind and so knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable during every visit. The year before I also had an accident where I slipped and fell on stairs. That left me with a broken tailbone (coccyx). Tom was also able to relieve my lower back pain and inflammation around my tailbone with acupuncture. I highly recommend him! His staff is excellent and they are always very accommodating and welcoming. Go see him! You’ll be so happy you did.

The acupuncturist and his staff have been great all the way through and not only are they responsive and understanding, the expert also knows his points very well. I like his work. Always a relief. What a blessing the Florida Balance Center is! I finally have my life back! Tom and his entire staff are whip smart, patient, kind and everybody's personal cheerleader. After three decades, he's seen it all and retrained it all, so have hope. I also love the confluence of the therapy with acupuncture — made a huge difference in my recovery! I experienced major damage to my inner ear and was experiencing vertigo, dizziness, and felt off-balance whenever I walked or did anything. Doctors basically threw up their hands... there was nothing they could do. Thankfully, one doctor gave me a referral to Tom Patullo (the Occupational Therapist at FL Balance Centers)... and through Tom's amazing vast knowledge in this field, plus his kindness, encouragement, and guidance, I did therapy that got me back to living my normal life! I was at the end of my rope and this saved me! If you're experiencing vertigo or feel off-balance, there's no need to suffer... it can be addressed, and with FL Balance Centers, you will feel safe, and they will get you through it! Experiencia fantástica: I do not usually write reviews but I feel that I need to share my story just in case it could help someone. I have never tried acupuncture and it was truly my last resort a couple weeks before going into exploratory surgery. Best decision of my life! I have been going through pelvic pain for about a year and a half and had multiple sonograms, MRIs and was put on birth control pills. The doctors still could not diagnose me, maybe endometriosis. The pain was debilitating 5-10 days out of the month leaving major pressure on my bladder and a dull pelvic pain that never went away. Within the same time-frame I had other stressors from a high pressure job and long commutes. I was also suffering from shot adrenal glands making panic attacks, hot flashes and facial flushing almost a daily routine. I’m 35 and no I’m not going through menopause lol Within 4 sessions everything changed. No more pelvic pain and minimal anxiety. It’s only been 3 months going twice a month. I cannot tell you enough how healing acupuncture is, but I have to say that Tom takes it to a whole other level. He figured out my ailments and my body responded so quickly to treatment. We focused on getting my stress levels back to normal and everything else fell in line. He’s kind, professional, and knowledgeable. His office is busy but he still makes you feel important. He also has great office staff. I feel very lucky I have found my healing place. Thanks Tom!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been an acupuncture patient of Tom Patullo for over 10 years; he has been treating me for migraine headaches. Through the years, he has treated me for planter fasciitis, TMJ, PVC’s for the heart, back pain and some other miscellaneous conditions which helped me tremendously. He also treated me for vestibular migraines through the Florida Balance Center as well. Acupuncture is absolutely amazing and truly works. Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Tom once a week for a little over two months. I I have made very good progress with my balance and “drop-foot” issues. I have found Tom to be very knowledgeable with a pleasant approach. He is willing to give so much time to me that I sometimes have to limit him. I have gone to therapists for other issues and they push you out the second your time is up. He always goes above and beyond. I think that shows how dedicated he is. His staff is attentive and very friendly as well. Overall, I recommend Florida balance centers completely. Five Stars!!!

However, Tom Patullo, AP, OTR has worked wonders for me through assessment, professional guidance, rehabilitation exercises and education. Tom Patullo administered my acupuncture treatments deftly, as I learned from his knowledge and recovered from post-treatment exercises. Acupuncture is a clever mechanism to encourage the body to recover. The treatment for my hernia injury was unforgettable because I no longer needed surgery and was relieved of all pain post treatment. The immediacy of relief allowed me back in the gym shortly after! Experiencia fantástica: I was recommended to Tom Patullo's vestibular and balance center by ENT doctor to help with my double vision and balance problem. With his knowledge and caring ability he has got me to the road of recovery. There is no cure but With on going therapy and exercises my symptoms are minimal. During the program we have incorporated acupuncture and the combination of the two has worked wonders. I would greatly recommend Tom's program along with acupuncture for the benefits I've received.

Experiencia fantástica: I have suffered with periods of severe vertigo caused by BPPV off and on for years. Although an ENT has usually been successful in clearing this condition, in 2011, 2012 and again this year, I have been left greatly impaired. I was not able to walk my dog, walk the aisles of a grocery store, work in my garden, cook or do most of my daily activities without getting very dizzy and nauseous. I was living on medication to enable me to function at all. In 2011, I finally found Tom Patullo at Florida Balance Center through an internet search. With great patience, incredible empathy, encouragement, laughter and tears, Tom has been able to give me back my life. I have been doing vestibular rehabilitation with him for 5 months this time. I am almost back to all of my normal activities and have not taken any medication in months. As with physical therapy for an injury, vestibular rehab is not quick but it is effective if you work at it. Tom and his staff are the best people i know to work with on this journey.
