Experiencia negativa: The physical therapist not sure what her name is,but she is so unorganized, and unprofessional I got a evaluation almost 3 weeks ago for my daughter,the therapist has yet to sign off on the required documents to get the pediatric authorization everyday I have to call all they say is 'we're sending a message to the Hollywood office to get the therapy to sign off on the documents" why does it take almost 3 weeks after evaluation for the therapist" to sign off on a document if it wasn't for my work schedule I wouldn't chose to use Kidz spot not the Hollywood location

Experiencia negativa: I don't recommend this place. Unfortunately my daughter has been here since 3 months old so transferring to a new office would be starting over again. The physical therapy HAS helped my daughter but what I've done at home everyday is what really has improved her condition! The therapist seem over worked and clearly don't have time to simply write notes in patients charts until the end of the day AFTER seeing 10+ patients a day?! That just doesn't make sense. My daughters PT recommended an OT evaluation and we never heard from the OT again about her recommendation! My daughters PT expects her to attend also OT, then was recommending speech - what's next?! Other then a few stretching exercises my daughter is on track or ahead for her age! I don't like they disorganized this office is. I don't like that the therapist was pushy. I don't like that the waiting room looks like it wasn't been swepted or mopped in 2 weeks! If you can take your child elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible. I took my child out of kid spot because, of the fact it is extremely unorganized. How the heck you take a child off the schedule list and put them on a waiting list?!? This place is straight doo-doo. Smh! Gosh I wish I had rich people insurance to put my child where he can have the assistance for therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: We have been to all three locations and this one is our favorite. All locations are very busy assisting the enormous population of children requiring various therapists. We appreciate the hard work they are doing with the limited resources provided. My boys look forward to coming here for services. Thank you to everyone for helping them to progress in the areas they needed OT, PT and SPEECH.

Her speech and occupational therapist Catalina and Gabriela are AMAZING! My child started non verbal and now says a lot of words and even sings. This is a huge accomplishment for our family. If you're thinking about bringing your loved one for an eval, do it! you wont regret it

Experiencia negativa: Don't not bring your kids here at all. This is the worst place ever. They never answer the phone and always canceling your kids appointment without informing you. They lie and say they texted you, which never happens. This is so disappointing because my child really needs the therapy but yet can't get it. You have to contact the corporate office to get things done. I would never recommend this place. Save yourself the headache and find a real company that truly cares about helping your kids.

Experiencia negativa: If there was an option not to give any stars, I absolutely would do so. The front office has the most rude staff, including the manager! I don’t usually write reviews, but I highly suggest to never bring your child here because you will be highly disappointed with the last minute schedule changes, non responsive personnel, and complete lack of organization in general. The only good I can mention about this facility is they have highly trained and qualified therapists.

We are so thankful for her thorough attention to detail, organizational skills, and wealth of knowledge and hands on learning she shared with us each week. She goes beyond being your therapist, and is a strong advocate for your child in all aspects. For example, when my son first began his sessions, he was very slow to transition. Cat took the time to get to know him, implemented visuals and social stories, and within no time her maternal warmth and methodological approach had him loving Speech in no time. Experiencia negativa: This place needs a customer service and professional training. The staff said they spoke to us and never talk to us. The manager and her office personnel had the biggest attitude and starting validating their claim about the why the schedule was removed. We never argued why it was removed , we wanted to know why we were never contacted. We are leaving due to poor customer service and unprofessional services .. the best therapist is Lilly . One therapist lied and said we couldn't go into the back area aka room with our son . another therapist called a patient lazy in the OT room. Some of the therapist need additional training... I have had my last straw .. My issue was not you canceling the schedule but failure to effectively communicate with us and then we explained that no contacted us ..you ignored us and acted as if we were lying to you about our time . Very rude and unprofessional staff .

My son has been coming here for almost 4 months yes Gaby his occupational therapist is extremely amazing Got my son out of his way to not want to walk and now he’s running to the facility to also alongside Crystal She is such a sweetheart his speech therapist they both have a lot of patience and are so kind and great with the kids management and whole facility also are so outstanding and understanding and will be to your every need exceptionally!

Experiencia negativa: Who the hell is running this place? This place is a freaking joke. Unorganized and unprofessional. They never answer the phone and never have therapist to work. I wonder why they can’t keep staff. They need to get rid of everyone and start all over with the hiring. I over this place.

And this isn’t about the therapists specifically but about the office and staff. Horrible communication. Horrible attitudes. Leave you on hold and transfer you all over the place. Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience. Told to come once a week and then discharged as a patient because they didn’t take her off the schedule twice a week. When I brought it to their attention and proved by their own report that we were told months before to only come once per week they said they would have the manager call. The manager didn’t call. I reached out to the higher ups in Orlando who promised it would get taken care of. It never was. Don’t waste your or your child’s time somewhere where they don’t care about you as an individual and family.

No matter what time you call, they will never answer the phone and if you lucky to have your call answered in God knows how many attempts and days, you will get the attitude and wrong information. Experiencia negativa: I have been trying to get my daughter therapy and I called this place since May 16th and was told the text her information to a number( intake department) and they will follow with me to schedule an assessment with a few days. Someone texted back on the 22nd telling me the service on the referrals I texted in( yes I know what is on it and that is the service I'm trying to get foe my daughter), I texted back confirming that is the service I need and that was it. I called back the number to find out what's going on, I was placed on hold then forwarded to voice mail and that was it.

They need to be able to answer the telephone. The therapists are fantastic, but it appears they have no manager or leadership concerned about communication or their patients. Thanks.

Seriously waste our time to collect on our insurance to have us try and find someone else hahaha what a joke! Don’t waste your time here The therapists are great but apparently the company doesn’t appreciate them or they wouldn’t have turn over like this. Go somewhere that’s not a “doc in a box”

Experiencia negativa: Here is why I gave it one star - I am extremely disappointed with this pediatric speech therapy place "Kids Spot Hollywood" that was recommended by our pediatrician. We were referred to this location and I spoke with Chelsey on 03/29/2023 and she stated the needed to verify our insurance and would Call me back in 1-2 days - after I did the questionnaire on the phone with her. I called back on 03/31 and left a message for Chelsey because I was told she was at lunch and I suppose the other people there could not help me with the follow-up. I called them 4 times since 03/31, and the phone now just rings and rings. No answer, no VM no answering service. We have not received a response. Despite several attempts to contact them, we have not received a single call or email back (since my initial inquiry on their website, too went unanswered). It is unacceptable that a healthcare provider would treat their potential patients in such a manner, especially for children's needs. We are extremely frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism displayed by this practice. I would not recommend this speech therapy place to anyone looking for reliable and responsive healthcare services the lack of responsiveness and follow-up and follow through from this practice that our children Pediatrician referred and basically has had us waiting for nothing.

Experiencia negativa: If I could, I would rate this place 0 stars. As far as the actual therapy goes, I wouldn’t know. What I do know is that I called to request an appointment on Dec 22nd, 2022. Today is April 18, 2023 and have yet to get a call back. I called multiple times to follow up and even went in person (around Jan/Feb) to see if I could get an answer. The lady at the front desk had an excuse for EVERYTHING and a solution for NOTHING.

They are rude, when you try to communicate to them, Yet they keep telling everyone it’s because they are short staffed, how short staff can you be when there’s 2 incompetent employees sitting down doing nothing, just watch the phone rings. They shouldn’t get pay for what they do. If you need to talk or reach them, You might as well best drive over to this office.

Experiencia negativa: The therapists that work there are great. However, they never gave my twins a constant therapy. Whatever appointment they had free, they contacted me to fill it up. Worst customer service ever. I called several times to ask for a discharged. Never pick up or replied my messages. I had to come in person. Val was the person at the front desk. She got the discharged and left. I waited over 20 min. They only gave me the documents when I told them that I was making the review!!

However, trying to make appointments for the last few months have been nothing short of a disaster. 15mins hold time…or when you call, you’re immediately placed on hold. Or no one answers and it goes to voicemail. Apparently, management is aware and is trying to get help but this has been on going for months…for that reason they get 4 stars

Catalina is an amazing speech therapist and my daughter LOVES spending time with her a couple days a week. She doesn’t even know that she’s learning because she has so much fun while doing it. Although we have found each therapist a delight to work with, Miss Jillian M. has been so patient and wonderful with helping my daughter. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment they are always so accommodating and friendly over the phone. We will not go anywhere else for therapy!

From our first appointment seven years ago to today, she has been a driving force in making sure that both mom and child are happy. With so many of my daughter's needs changing from time to time, she made sure to keep up with us. It is not easy having a child on the spectrum with four or more diagnosis' but knowing that Juanita makes it her mission to keep up with all of it and help us along the way is more than refreshing. Juanita has been instrumental in coming up with inovative ways to get my daughter more engaged with the therapists and as genuine as she is, it is a tell all that she not only loves what she does but enjoys even the trickiest child. (mine) I applaude everyone at kidsspot for all they do and in the face of the current pandemic, it is vital that we have choices with the way our children receive care. Thank you Kidsspot for always providing the best therapist the state has to offer, and thank you Juanita for always providing celebrity status type of service.

Jeannette Rios is my daughter’s occupational therapist and she is always so compassionate, kind, sweet and informs me what I can do at home and shares her knowledge with me. I can ask as many questions as I like and she always addresses all of my concerns with my daughter. My daughter has speech therapy with Brittany Goldberg and she is so kind, compassionate, sweet and gives me advice on what I can work at with her at home. My daughter Sofia loves both her therapists so much and I would never go anywhere else. I highly recommend this as the best therapy for children. The ladies in the office Juanita and Crystal are amazing. They always keep me informed and are always so warm and friendly. I am so blessed and grateful to have KIDS SPOT for my daughter and for me.

Experiencia negativa: My 4yr nephew was almost killed there today due to the careless therapist..He ihas autism and she has been told on many occasions not to let his hand go in the parking lot because he is a flight risk..not once, not twice but this is the third time she had done it ...Today he ran into on coming traffic and if it was not for this amazing woman who jumped out of the car and grab him he would not be here..not to mention his mother broke her nose and busted her face falling while chasing him..And the only thing they can offer is ...OH SORRY ..please don't bring your babies here if you love them because the people that work here could careless whar happens to them ..

Experiencia negativa: The most horrible place to ever bring your child. The staffing and therapists mouth's need to be washed out with soap. My son's therapist was unprofessional, unempathetic and lacked patience. Sadly they tell the kids to go play in gym just so they can sit there doing paperwork with barely any interaction or hands on therapy that take place during the session. Observed allot of unethical practices that take place there during my son's therapy. COVID-19 precautions? Washing hands station? cleaning therapy equipement before or after each child? To add to that their only there for just a check every 2 weeks. Any person that works for this company don't have intentions on helping these kids their just in it for the money and that's why they never have a consistent therapist. I met one good OT therapist sadly she is not there anymore, its hard to see the good ones leave as we wont be back either.

Experiencia negativa: Do not let your child see Maggie. She is rude and she grabbed my son very inappropriate. When I called to tell her boss her boss informed me that she is very sturdy, I asked that she never see my child again or it’s going to be a problem the manager told me to not bring my child anymore. My son has been coming to this center for 3 years and never had a complaint. He will NEVER come back to the facility again. Please read all reviews on here and listen to your child! Ask questions abuse is never ok.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter started at Kids Spot in 2018. She was diagnosed with Autism, nonverbal and had a global development delay. She was 2 years old at the time. Since then, 3 years later, Asiah is now minimally verbal, knows some sign language and uses an AAC speech device. Although the sessions are only in 30 minute increments, they are effective over time. We are grateful for the patient and professional Speech Language Pathologists, Marisol, Jessica and a host of others. She also received Occupational Therapy. I must admit, at first, it didn't look like anything was happening. Eventually, with persistence, Asiah started improving! The Occupational Therapists, Maggie, Erica and others really helped her with balance, coordination, gross & fine motor development and more! However, we worked closely with Maggie who really taught us so much about vestibular and proprioceptive exercises that have really changed our girl. Today was our last day because we needed a therapy center closer to her learning center. We will miss all the staff, including Erica at the front desk who have made our journey in Autism a lot easier! Thank you for everything Kids Spot!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible place unfortunately. It would be very convenient for me to keep my son’s therapy there, but quality of therapy is extremely low. I have seen therapists mocking the patients, rolling eyes, you name it. In my son’s case in particular, they kept on changing therapists and these never knew what were the goals for my son. For speech therapy for example, they kept on working things my son had already mastered (waste of time). They really seem like they have no idea what they are doing. My advice to parents who absolutely need to take their kids there is to stay present during therapy to supervise it. This way one can make sure their are not wasting precious therapy time.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience!!! My 10 month old baby was sent for evaluation there . He is trying to skip crawling. My baby doesn’t understand any words of English because we speak another language at home. So my baby did not react for her commands/(( plus she even did not try to get his friendly attention, at least to call him by his name!!!!!!! She was so unprofessional:(((( My baby was crying almost all time he was there. I would never recommend that place!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We tried several therapy centers before we found Kids Spot. This is the place where we received necessary help for our family and our child. Thanks to this center’s professionals such as : physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, sensory learning therapists, we gained tools and knowledge that helped us to work on our child development on our own at home. Their professionals are very knowledgeable and carrying and spend extra time with a child as need it . The results are remarkable, we are very pleased and thankful from the bottom of our hearts. Despite the challenges our family had to go through, this place is a happy place and you give people hope for the bright future . I would send my child there everyday if I could . I wish this center and all the professionals endless success. I wish each and every person who works there good health and big happiness . Word cannot express how happy we that we found this place . The therapists as well as the owners are compassionate, friendly, caring, and i just can not say enough about the wonderful care given to each and every patient. it is unfortunate that in this day and age of social media, that out of every thousand patients, that have a great experience, have raved how much help the clinic has given to their child, that there is always going to be that ONE person who no matter how much you try you can not please them. And what's even worse than that is that they bad mouth and blast the clinic, make up fake profiles and say bad things without ever telling the WHOLE truth. There are always 2 sides to every situation. I have myself, sat in the waiting room, heard a mother yelling and screaming at the staff because SHE ALWAYS COMES LATE FOR HER APPOINTMENTS, OR DOES NOT EVEN SHOW UP and when she finally did show up there was not a spot open for her child so she started blasting the clinic with bad reviews. Too bad there isn't a personal site to blast those parents for being the person that they are. I would highly recommend Kids S.P.OT. without a doubt.

Experiencia negativa: And the only reason y I give them a 1 star is because my son got sick n I had to cancel his appointment and the lady told meh they got a policy where u miss a appointment they want take hym any more n that I have to find a home therapy as if my insurance cover that n I was so mad that my child ain’t get a change to get his therapy done it was just a waste of my tyme ❗️❗️❗️

Experiencia negativa: This place is a waste of time. I go once a week for 30 min, my drive there is longer. How is a child supposed to gain anything from that kind of therapy? They claimed it was all my insurance allowed. I called my insurance and they said they were approved for as many sessions as needed. I called my primary doctor, they said it was up to KIDS spot. If you’re going to lie to my face at least be good at it. It’s always hectic in this office and you never know who you will get. I switched offices and they allow 5 sessions an hour each and they are the NICEST office in Broward.
