I’ve seen so much progress with my children… From the front desk (Ms. Hannah and Ms. Trinity) to all the OTs (Ms. Sam, Ms. Chandon, Mrs. Ashley, Mr. Michael, and Ms. Mary Jane) and the wonderful speech therapists (Mrs. Alia, Mrs. Kathryn, Ms. Bonnie). They are all so awesome, I had to list them individually. 10/10 will recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: We truly love Child’s Play! We’ve encountered majority of the therapists and they are all fantastic!! BONNIE & MICHAEL have been great with providing care for my little! I’ve seen a lot of improvement regarding speech & occupational therapy. All of my girls get super excited when they see them because they’re truly caring & lovable. I highly recommend this place regardless of the therapist! The front desk staff is a winner as well! I also highly enjoy how they are sibling friendly while we’re waiting for a session to end. They have a little play area & books.

Experiencia fantástica: My son started therapy about a month ago, and our experience has been outstanding! Sam was thorough during the evaluation, and she explained goals and expectations very well . Mary Jane has been wonderful as well, with her gentle approach, and she also gives thorough evaluations at the end of every visit. The front staff is always kind and friendly. We had issues with my insurance at first, but Trinity was always so patient and understanding with me as we figured it out. I can't say enough good things about Child's Play. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Hard pass on the SOUTH Huntsville location. I feel that my toddlers and myself were racially discriminated against by the cold secretary and silence by one Joanna (OT). My toddler threw up as a reaction to a smell on the side of the front entrance while waiting for the center to open. Running late to open the center, the secretary pointed out we were early, rudely told us we were not allowed in the building due to policy of my child throwing up. Rudely being attended to I asked to see a manager. She had me waiting outside the building forever while she knew the managers were out of state. I ended up going to the front desk in an effort to pay for my child’s session and wait in the car. The secretary rudely yelled at me that she couldn’t take my payment now because my toddler had the audacity to throw up and clients would be coming soon. My son is a private paying client. I reminded her that we were right here and that my child and I were the clients. I felt that she was not giving me equal treatment and this was an example of a white woman playing victim. When I proceeded to tell that her that, I had another white woman Joanna (who was my son’s OT)come yell at me a brown person that it was inappropriate for me to call out racism when it is occurring to me! The staff needs cultural sensitivity training and training in customer service. Stay at the North Location

Experiencia negativa: Therapist are great. Billing not so much. I have been attempting to resolve billing issues since October 2023 and it’s now January. They will make you pay the entire bill if insurance denies the claim even after it has been noted on your account that you are self pay and not to bill insurance. Of course the full rate is higher than the self pay rate so it seems a little shady.

The staff is so friendly especially Shana who has followed up with us and has made sure all of our paperwork is in order. Miss Bonnie I'd my son's speech therapist and she has been so sweet and kind towards my son. He looks forward to therapy every week.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve had the best experience at Child’s Play Therapy Center in Huntsville. Our 3 year old started going to OT & Speech for feeding therapy when he was 2 years old. He was 100% G-tube fed, and a year later eats all meals by mouth. We are so grateful for the wonderful ladies who have worked with him and our family! The therapists are patient, personal, knowledgeable, and creative! We highly recommend Child’s Play!!

Experiencia fantástica: We have been going to Childsplay Therapy Center coming up on a year now. The office staff is always friendly and helpful, everyone there is! We homeschool, so my other 3 children and I wait during her appointments, the staff is so patient with us and kind. When we first started we didn't have much information on what exactly was going on with my daughter and what her needs were. The initial evaluation was very thorough and offered a lot of insight and direction. Her therapist was able to really help us understand our daughters needs. My daughter is seen for OT. Her therapist is amazing! She has really helped my daughter grow and develop, closing the gap in her delays. She has been very supportive of our daughter and our family as a whole. Her therapist is always willing to listen and offer advice and ideas to help further my daughters progress. When her therapist was going to be gone for a while, she was so great at making the change go smoothly and making sure my daughter was comfortable and ready to work with the new therapist. Our experience with the second therapist has been just as wonderful. They are so impressive not only with their knowledge and skills but with their compassion. They care and it shows! My daughter looks forward to her therapy and has learned the days of the week so she can count down to her next appointment :-). Childsplay Therapy Center has helped our daughter and us in innumerable ways and we are very grateful for their continued support and care in our daughter.

He doesn't see his therapy as work, it really is fun for him. He keeps improving with each visit. They come right to his school and meet with him. It couldn't be an easier to work with them. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough nice things about my son's therapist. We worked with Ms. Jenni right after my son turned 3. His speech development was below 18 months. After working with her for a year, he was up to 3.5 years. We stopped therapy (my choice) for a year because his preschool was going to work with him. I called Ms. Jenni this past summer and he was re-tested at just over a 3 year old. He had zero growth in an entire year. Since this summer, he has grown another 6 months with his articulation. The manager is always very kind and helpful. My son LOVES his therapist more than his teachers, and we've always had a wonderful relationship. I cannot thank the staff at Child's Play enough for helping my son re-learn how to clearly/effectively communicate. We still have a ways to go but he is learning, loving, and having fun while developing his speech skills.

They have also been helpful in teaching us parents exercises we can do at home to help aide our child with her challenges. We are grateful for Child's Play Therapy Center.

My daughter saw Katharyn for a year before starting preschool, and I felt so much more comfortable with her starting school after having worked with her. She made my daughter enjoy coming for therapy, and her progress with speech was excellent. It felt like she was visiting a friend weekly. We’ve returned for the summer before kindergarten, and Bonnie is helping with her this time. Swayze and Andrea are so helpful and kind, and I’ve just really appreciated the professionalism yet kindness we receive whenever we are there.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this Therapy Center. We bounced around couple of places, before we were referred to them. Everyone has been wonderful. I've never had a bad experience. Alisha, Swayze, and Parker have always been so nice when we check in or have questions. Katie helped us get onboard at the beginning, and it was so easy to get set up. We see Kathryn for Speech, and she has been so wonderful. She ranks as one of my son's most favorite people. He tells everyone at school about her, and is excited to go to therapy. She does such a fantastic job of coaxing him into the work through play, that he genuinely enjoys himself. I've had the opportunity to see a couple of the other Speech therapists, as well, once or twice. It's always been a positive experience. Everyone that we've met has been so great. Each therapist has their own persepective, personality, and approach, but my son has been receptive with everyone he's worked with.

Experiencia fantástica: My son began speech and OT therapy services with Ms. Taylor and Ms. Ellisa in early 2020. The therapy center was well organized, and the staff clearly communicated appointment times, billing information, and COVID protocols. Ms. Taylor and Ms. Ellisa went above and beyond to deliver therapy services during a pandemic. They were always available to explain each session and answer any questions. They responded quickly to any concerns we had, and were always working to come up with creative ways for our son to learn. They also encouraged and informed us as we walked through our first public school IEP process. I would highly recommend these therapists.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter has been doing Occupational Therapy since July. Our weekly sessions have truly been life changing not just for my daughter, but for our whole family. I did not go to the initial evaluation, but I will never forget the first words that my husband said to me after the evaluation. He said, "Kathleen, they have names for all of the things you've been noticing." It was certainly a God moment that he went to the evaluation, because the evaluation alone opened his eyes to so many things. The first few weeks of therapy I was constantly saying, "Is this why......" I felt like our life was a box of puzzle pieces thrown all over the floor. However, during each week of therapy, the pieces began to come together, and everything started to make sense. Ms. Chandon is our therapist, and she is AMAZING! Going to therapy is the highlight of my daughter's week! Chandon has made tremendous progress with my daughter, and she has kept me in the loop every step of the way! I observe every session and takes notes, so that we can continue the exercises at home. Therapy isn't meant to be forever, but we don't want to break that news to my daughter yet. She will be heartbroken when we even start discussing that she is "graduating" from therapy! Everyone at Childsplay has been wonderful. I don't have a single negative thing to say. I am forever grateful for the help that my daughter has received.

My son worked with Kathryn Williams for his speech therapy and it was one of the first solid connections he made with someone since we moved. He just fell in love with her. She is outgoing, enthusiastic, patient and genuinely cares. My son is excited to go to therapy every week. I could not have found a better place!

I can tell major improvements and his therapist is very helpful with providing exercises to do at home. She is also so patient with my child which I love.

He has made incredible progress and is able to communicate more with his peers. The therapists are great with the kids; my son looks forward to coming to his sessions. Taylor is amazing along with all the staff we have encountered! The front desk is very friendly and helpful! I’m a stay at home mom and have to bring a younger sibling with me each week. They have always been very welcoming and there’s a ton of fun toys to keep her entertained as well during big sisters therapy time.

The front desk people are always very nice, considerate and understanding. Laura is our Speech therapist and she has been amazing working with my daughter. I know she truly cares and wants to see her get better. She is very knowledgeable about her field. She has also been wonderful with helping me know how to help my daughter at home with speech activities too. In passing, I have met several of their OTs and other Speech therapists- they all seem very kind and friendly. I am an Occupational Therapy Assistant and I am VERY picky about therapists when it comes to them working with my daughter. Child’s Play has exceeded all of my expectations and more. I highly recommend! Jan 2020- I wanted to provide an update. Both of my kids have seen Bailey, OT and have been recently discharged due to meeting goals! Bailey is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. She explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. She gave me resources and tools on things to do at home to help my kids. She was wonderful interacting with my kids. She truly cares, is very understanding and effective in her field. She also is proactive and strives to find solutions to any issues my kids faced. I am very thankful I chose Child’s Play for my kids’ therapy needs and will go back if we ever need to in the future. I highly recommend this place!

Experiencia fantástica: My son has been attending Child’s Play Therapy for about 6 months. He receives Occupational Therapy (Lauren) and Speech Therapy (Taylor). He was struggling in school to keep up with peers in many areas and he would often show frustration in communication. The progress we have seen him make has been incredible and so encouraging! It’s worth our time every week to make these appointments a priority, because we know Monday - Friday at school, continues to get better and better as he masters more skills. From the time we walk in, you know the staff (front office) to the treatment team is here because they care about making a difference in each childs life. They truly desire to see each child make progress, little or big, to them it’s important to celebrate with the child. So thankful we are a small piece of the Child’s Play family. It’s a great feeling to know your not alone in helping your child, a team of people are there to listen and support you who truly care.

Experiencia fantástica: Better late than never! My daughter saw Laura Cole back in Feb/Mar for feeding therapy. She was a NICU baby and came home with a feeding tube because she failed multiple swallow tests, and just couldn't get the hang of taking a bottle. From the very first time we saw Laura she made me feel so comfortable and was so wonderful with my baby. She went above and beyond for not only my daughter, but for me too. I'm forever grateful for Laura and Childsplay for helping me help my daughter eat! The whole staff here made a difficult time so much easier and treated us with love and respect. I highly recommend Childsplay Therapy.... these folks love what they do and it shows!

Experiencia fantástica: This is The Best Place to take your child to for Speech Therapy in North Alabama! We drove 40min. And it was worth every min. and every mile we drove. To receive the most wonderful care and therapy my son got from Mrs. Cole. It was truly a blessing for my family that we found Child's Play Therapy Center! He was receiving speech therapy at his public school but it was in a group setting and he was not improving at all! So I started looking for something else. I wish we would have done child's play therapy first! It changed my son's life! He can speak so much better now! People can understand him now!! We love this place! I am forever greatful for Childs play therapy center!

Experiencia negativa: Do not use them. They have chosen to destroy my credit two YEARS after we stopped going. And all bc they charged me 75 dollars for ONE missed appointment. Then two years later decide to harass me over it. And I called to cancel appointment the day before Bc my son was sick but they were closed. So if you use them be prepared to pay ridiculous fees for missing one damn appointment. Better hope your child doesn’t ever get sick !

The facility is always clean and welcoming. The front desk staff are well organized and very personable. Each of the therapists we've worked with have been professional, skilled, open-minded, and most importantly deeply invested in the goals we work together to set for our children. We recommend them to anyone looking for speech or occupational therapy services.

She knew how to challenge him and help his speech develop all while he felt like he was just playing. She showed us, as parents, how to help him continue to progress at home. They definitely work to communicate the plan of care as well as listen to any questions and concerns we have. I would definitely recommend for speech services.

She came highly recommended from the International Adoption Clinic in Birmingham and has not disappointed. Our son absolutely loves her. Two years ago when our son was four years old we discovered that he had some dexterity problems and couldn't hold a pencil or a crayon. Huntsville Christian Academy recommended Child's Play Therapy Center and we started using them immediately. The therapist even goes to the school and performs the therapy during a real life classroom situation. Our son's therapist is amazing. If your child has a problem writing, holding a pencil or problems fidgeting with their fingers, then Child's Play Therapy Center is your answer.

Experiencia fantástica: Before my son started taking speech therapy you could barely understand what he was saying, but since taking speech he was learned the correct way to use his tongue and mouth to make all the letter sounds correctly. He learns something new every week and he loves showing his therapist. She makes working into playing which he loves, and he doesn't realize he is learning. I didn't know it was an issue that he couldn't talk well I thought it was just being a 5 year old, but after they evaluated him I knew we had to get speech therapy for him. It is really awesome how they teach him, and how well he takes to it. He really sounds like a grown up now and you can understand every word. Thanks Mrs. Jenni : ) We Love you
