She listened very carefully to understand the root of the issue. She explained what causes the pain and gave clear instructions.I followed her instructions and I felt much better. Does a thorough evaluation, listens to what I am saying, and develops a plan of care with my input. Cares about what my goals are and motivated me to reach my goals! Experiencia fantástica: I have used Blue Valley Physical Therapy at 119th and Quivira several times in the past few years for PT rehabbing a shoulder surgery and two hip replacement surgeries. I would not consider going anywhere else for treatment. The highly trained and very friendly staff make you want to come back every time. I always left there feeling better than when I entered. Now they are doing virtual stretching classes and I continue to benefit from their help. Michelle Anthony from the Quivira Clinic and Ryan Carrizales from Woodside Clinic are leading these most beneficial classes every Wednesday on line. I highly recommend theses classes! Experiencia fantástica: When I first walked into Blue Valley Pt at Quivera, I was amazed at how friendly and welcoming the staff is. The front door is always opened by a staff member which is so appreciated, as opening doors is an issue for many people. I am often greeted by name by many staff members. There is little to no waiting for your therapy to begin. The therapy is patient based with the therapist actually listening. The plan is then accordingly revised based on the need of the patient for that day. The therapists use fantastic teamwork with each other. In my experience my therapist is always positive and makes me feel like a champion. Let’s face it, therapy can be long and tedious for those of us struggling to get well. Blue valley pt is the absolute best place to go in your personal quest to be a better functioning person. All of the therapists are wonderful, but I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge Melissa Church as being hands down, the warmest, kindest and patient pt in the world!

Experiencia fantástica: I started seeing JR at BVPT a little over a year ago when I had knee surgery for a Meniscus repair and Microfracturing procedure. I was non weight bearing for six weeks and very discouraged. JR and the entire team were amazing and absolutely made the difference between loss of knee function and where I am today. Today I feel better than I did before the surgery. I worked hard because I was inspired to work hard and because I was given the support and encouragement that I needed to believe in myself.

The equipment is new and has technology that makes it easy to understand the intricacies of your workout in regards to strength training and overall output. My PT is Amanda she is doing a very good job she is professional and very caring never giving up hope that surgery is not an option My pain was at 9 when I first saw her and taking a lot of Aleve but now pain is at 2 With minimum aleve taking. Thanks Amanda for giving my life back and being able to sleep long hours without interruption and hopefully surgery won't be needed. I will definitely recommend her to my friends

My particular physical therapist, Michael, was the best PT I have ever worked with. He was willing to answer any questions, help me build a home program, and encouraged me to contact him if I had questions while I executed my home program. Everyone there is so kind, and this might be the first medical place I have had no billing issues with. It was also so convenient that they sold some supplies I needed for home. I love this place and would highly recommend to anyone!

They took the time to understand my injury and my specific needs. My Therapist, Michael, is a real pro. He is kind and compassionate, but he really challenges you to get the most out of the exercises. He was very knowledgable about human anatomy, and was able to explain things better than anyone had before. I wish I had come here sooner. I would recommend Michael and Blue Valley Physical Therapy to anyone recovering from an injury.

The service and people are excellent, and very flexible to work in as many patients as they do. Caitlin did an amazing job giving me exercises that were easy to do at home with simple objects, and she went above and beyond by communicating with my surgeon to ensure the best therapy plan possible. I cannot imagine there being a better place in the area.

JR, Michael and Caroline worked with me over a period of time that resulted in great results in strengthening my leg muscles that has eliminated my knee pain for routine walking, standing and light physical activity. After my recent ankle surgery I chose BVPT after reading so many good reviews. J.R. Moody was my therapist and I can't say enough about him and my overall experience. No matter how busy he was, JR always made me feel like I was the most important person there. He was so patient and knowledgeable and kind and was genuinely concerned about helping me get back to my pre-surgery condition and activities. I actually enjoyed going to PT which are words I would never thought could come out of my mouth. The entire staff at BVPT from the wonderful ladies at the appointment desk, to the techs, Corey, Collin, Kimberly and all the others, all helped to make my experience a great one. I will miss them all, and if I should ever need PT again in the future, I'll definitely be calling JR.

This included everything from the evaluation process, to designing a personal program that has greatly benefited me. Aside from Melissa's great abilities, the actual facility has what I believe must be "State-of-Art" equipment to utilize. Thank you for greatly improving my physical abilities!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a partial knee replacement in May 2018 and went to BVPT on 119th for my physical therapy. I was able to return to work after 3 weeks and within a couple of months of going for therapy 2-3 times per week, I was finished with my sessions (or they were just finished with me - not sure?) The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and made this a enjoyable experience. Michael was the best PT that I have ever worked with. (Happens to be the only PT that I have ever worked with - but I would sure rank him right up there) All kidding aside, I don't believe that I would be as far along in my recovery if it were not for Micheal and the rest of the staff at BVPT. If any one of my family/friends needs to go to PT, I will definitely recommend this office. Do not go anywhere else! Thanks for the great treatment!
