After a few training sessions under the direct supervision of Dr. Ali, my knees pain are improving and my muscles are getting stronger. Experiencia fantástica: New Light Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is an oasis where I have a complete experience rehabbing my replacement knee after surgery and finally beginning arm and shoulder therapy for a work injury. By complete, I mean that I receive quality, care, encouragement and guidance while I recuperate. My complete also includes visiting a harmonious office, greeted first by Seema with her genuine smile and sincerity. Ali is tops when it comes to pinpointing how to proceed in treatment. Scheduling problems? No problem, with a smile, they make accommodations for patient's schedules. No criticism is ever spoken; only constructive guidance to aid in getting well. Ali and his staff take interest in your whole self, including diet and exercise, but don't limit to such a narrow scope. Each has a genuine interest in your well being, including emotional and spiritual. I have experienced several severe losses and financial downturns during the months I have visited. Experiencia fantástica: My father has been a patient for over a year to strengthen his body due to MS with Dr. Etessam. While my father has recieved a plethora of treatments ranging from physical therapy, acupuncture, specialized massage, and swimming exercises, the most beneficial has been at New Light Physical Therapy. This practice is unlike others because of their genuine vested interest in the overall well being their patients from front office to back office. During my father's evaluation, Dr. Etessam took the time to explain everything in detail without being asked, leaving a great first impression. Another welcomed surprise was that Dr. Etessam works with his patients one-on-one from the beginning to the end of the session. Throughout this time, Dr. Etessam's impeccable bedside manner and his transparent intensions in providing excellent care are unwavered. Moreover, scheduling is a breeze and very accommodating. My father has improved in muscle strength and has gone from 186 lbs to 139 lbs (47lbs loss). Besides his physical therapy sessions, Dr. Etessam has given my father in-home exercises that he went over with my mother to assist him in. In addition, Dr. Etessam recommended several changes in diet that has had a positive effect as well as books to be more knowledgeable in the subject. It makes me so happy that my father looks forward in going to his appointments and have noticed a boost in his quality of life as a result of his progress and friendly interactions! I find the staff not only very knowledgeable and service oriented but they also are so thorough and demonstrate genuine care. Joyce is very patience, has a good personality and is very considerate. She gave me the best treatment and I have seen big improvement. She listened to me and my needs. The receptionist Jazmin has good customer service and is always polite. Dr. Ali and his team really cared about me and have really been a big help.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother has been suffering from sever shoulder pain for over 6 months. She was previously diagnosed with arthritis; however, Dr. Etessam explained her condition (Shoulder impingement syndrome) in detail and assigned her some helpful exercises. Both Dr. Etessam and his staff are extremely friendly and professional. I had a great experience with them.

Experiencia negativa: Not actual Physical Therapy. In PT, you heal by challenging the injury. At New Light, you get hooked up to a machine for 15 minutes, and are then discharged for the day. I was lucky to see the Therapist twice during the course of my treatment. Getting information out of him was very difficult. If I didn't have a long list of questions, I would have left there with the same amount of knowledge on my injury and the recovery process as I did when I arrived. My roommate is experiencing the same, frustrating treatment that I received. The technicians are friendly. This is the only redeeming quality. If you want a hands on physical therapist, ask your doctor for a referral to somewhere else.

We were impressed with the very thorough way Dr. Etessam explained our physical needs, and not only gave us handouts explaining the exercises we were to do at home, but demonstrated how they were to be done, and why. We both were given electric stimulation treatments as well. The other therapists in the office were very kind, and efficient. With the combination of my good orthopedic surgeon and first rate Physical Therapy group, I was able to recuperate from my basal thumb surgery in 9 weeks, way ahead of the normal progress. I would recommend this facility for treatment after an injury or surgery.

After a few questions and an exam, Dr. Etessam knew right away what the problem was and in 6 short visits my pain is gone. I am not only grateful and thankful that my pain is gone, but that this is the physical therapy office I chose to go to.
