Experiencia fantástica: I truly can’t express enough appreciation for Drs. Brian Schwabe and Matt Miller. I had a diagnosis of degeneration to my femur, resulting in pain and significant limitations to my knee. As a result, I lost confidence in my ability to play basketball and ski - two passions of mine. However after only two months - approximately 6 weeks with Dr. Schwabe and two weeks with Dr. Miller - I was back to running, playing basketball and the strength and movement limitations in my knee were resolved! Best of yet, they truly set me up for long term success through the education in which they provided. I personally have a background in biomechanics and physical therapy, yet everyday, I learned something new and helpful for my long term health and longevity. I had a stress fracture on my shin from my freshman collegiate volleyball season and needed a place to recover so that I could transfer to a new college. My physical therapist Brian worked with me to build a personalized, volleyball specific rehabilitation plan. Their facility’s equipment, indoor turf, and sports court was also a huge help in my rehabilitation. From my time here, I have recovered, gotten back into volleyball shape, and was able to commit to my new collegiate program in the process. Experiencia fantástica: Words won’t do this elite facility any justice. The level of professionalism and care that I’m receiving has been unlike any other. I’ve been dealing with bilateral patellar tendinitis for over two years and seeing everyone under the sun to help me. I’ve been with I.O. For about three weeks now and the exercises and equipment are professional grade. I would imagine this experience would be just like that of a professional athlete’s type of care. Obviously, seeing professional athletes coming in and out while I’m getting treatment help me to validate that. I have personally been working with Matt and from the first consultation where he’s running a diagnostic on my legs, etc. with equipment I’ve never seen and the language he’s using and level of attention to my symptoms I knew I would be in good hands. My wife would be proud of my run on sentence. I see Brian working in the facility as well and have had the pleasure to get to know him as well and you’re getting more of the same excellence that you would expect here! Let’s not forget their Director of First Impressions, Lauren. Big smiles, super helpful and makes you feel right at home. She will also assist the guys with getting some of their athletes on what they call game ready. She even brought me my lunch and a water while I was getting my legs iced. Experiencia fantástica: My son has been a patient for sports specific injury prevention and recovery treatment with i.o. sports therapy for well over a year. Prior to commencing his comprehensive treatment plan, which was developed with the collaboration of his coaching team, physicians, patient and parents in mind, he would complain of growth pains at various junctures in his development. Our only option prior to i.o sports therapy was load management. The practicality of “load managing” an AAU youth basketball player, who trains anywhere from 2x-3x per day, 6 days a week was not feasible. Post working with the entire i.o. sports therapy team, we have been able to maintain a consistent training schedule with ongoing collaboration amongst all professionals. i.o. sports therapy customizes the treatment plan to my sons needs, responds quickly and with a feeling of urgency, prioritizing my son’s concerns. When my son is on the table, he can be amongst top NBA draft picks, and yet he is treated with the same level of professionalism, courtesy, respect and privacy. It goes without saying that the team is extremely proficient in sports medicine and highly knowledgeable as it pertains to all sports. I highly recommend the i.o. sports therapy team.

Matt saved my leg, gave me a routine night and day different than my prior physical therapist and I am now at 85% strength only 3 months later.

The only reason I was able to have a full recovery and get back on the basketball court was due to I.O.'s amazing facility, knowledge, equipment, and staff. I share a facility with IO Orthopedic, and they always see me and my clients no issue for small or big issues. What recently stood out to me, I pulled/strained my back and couldn't move from home. Brian FaceTimed me on a Friday night on his own time to give me an assessment and at home plan that got me back and moving quickly. The care and attention to detail are second to none!

Experiencia fantástica: I injured my hip and groin playing soccer. I couldn't figure out what was wrong for years, and always had pain in my hip, abdomen, groin, back, and leg. I started treatment with Brian and my chronic pain improved dramatically under his care. We decided to do the FAI surgery along with a hip labrum repair. He helped me through the entire process, especially with getting me in contact with the best surgeon for my hip. Most places I had been to in the past for the injury were restricted to just the hip, but Brian treated all of my symptoms. He helped me mentally get through process as I was very fearful of surgery. I am 9 weeks post op now and I am feeling so much better. The chronic pain is gone and I am way ahead of schedule with the recovery. I am very thankful to Brian for all the help and treatment, and would recommend him highly to anyone who is looking to improve their body and get healthy!

Sports therapy, I wouldn’t have been prepared or confident to go at all. Not only did Matt and Brian get me on an amazing recovery program, but they also were sure to clearly educate me on my injury and what was happening with my body. The environment in the treatment room was always a plus as I was able to converse with other pro athletes and other friendly patients. Will definitely be returning my next off season

I ran a half marathon in October and the PTs provided a number of at-home recovery exercises that I implemented prior to my race. I was experiencing soreness following the race, and visited for in-clinic treatment. I was able to use their Normatech boots and Hyperice Venom Back devices and could tell a difference in my body immediately and in the days after. As an active adult, I can say that they provide the same level of attention and care as they do with their professional athletes.

Experiencia fantástica: There is no better place to go to for rehab of an injury. The two physical therapists, Brian and Matt, give specialized and individual attention to each patient. As someone who has been injured many times, this place is by far the most efficient in helping recovery because the therapists (I mainly work with Brian, the head of the clinic) do not have to rely on an aid to help the clients heal. They are with you the entire time and it makes the rehab process much more effective, efficient, and timely. Overall, it is a great place to go for PT and the environment and staff are top-notch.
