The Parc at Joliet: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: As an employee I love working here. I love the staff and the residents very much. I do my very best to make sure the residents are happy and enjoy their time here.
Experiencia fantástica: Nice, friendly, professional staff I am here for wound care after Sugary and there team has helped me with so much more than what I originally expected thank you so much
Experiencia fantástica: The Parc has very friendly and attentive staff. They are very helpful and doing a great job at keeping me healthy and keeping my best interest in mind. I would recommend my friends to come here if they needed it.
Experiencia negativa: Did not do physical rehab, my father-in-law got bed sores, did not follow cardiologist rehab routine, tracheotomy was dirty (not being cleaned). Finally had to call 911 to get moved out of there. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT put your loved ones here!
Experiencia negativa: My father has a serious brain injury so communication and speed are very difficult for him. He has been here over 2 years and has had a terrible experience. Almost all the items he moved in with from clothing to bedding to shoes have gone missing. Even the replacement items that were bought for him have disappeared. When he does receive items from the lost and found they are far too big for him or are not weather appropriate. He struggles with the smoking rules/times and with showering. I would expect a professional facility to be able to manage issues like these but the staff is well aware of the problems and nothing seems to improve. I've escalated my concerns in the wellness meetings and even to the director of the building and still find myself dealing with the same troubles time and time again. I do appreciate the few staff members who have made an effort to help as best as they can. I understand places like this are hard to work in but I'm honestly out of patience.
Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this facility. There are some amazing staff including Brittany, Kintoya, Nancy, Marcel, Lynette, Sharina, Tim, Sal, Linda from therapy and Nick to name a few. Administration and management as a whole lack ethics, boundaries, compassion, and training. There is a problem with residents items going missing and never being found. Floor staff often can be heard using lewd language, playing on their phones and not tending to the residents. Corporate is aware of the above and is only concerned with filling a bed. I truly hope a change is made, though I am one person. In my time in the social services department, I know I did my very best to help the residents and will miss them dearly. I recommend looking elsewhere for your loved one.
Experiencia fantástica: Everything here is so wonderful and they take such great care of me. I couldn't ask for better living conditions. The staff that make this place amazing are Ianna, Davisha , Maryam, Suzy, Tiffany, David, Jennifer C, Miah, Neveah, Bobbie G Jessica G, and the whole therapy department! I am so grateful for the people here, I love it at the Parc!
Experiencia fantástica: CNA Janeka G. Is an exceptional CNA to her residents. Her hall is ALWAYS clean, beds made, residents are up ready for the day, clean and dry. She is soft spoken to each one and makes sure they are fed. Her residents miss her when she is off, so do I.
Experiencia positiva: I just left there after 2 months I feel like some people really cared for me like cna*s Ida,Jasleesa , Shae and few others but theses three went above and beyond and made sure I was good. Miranda was the best nurse I had treated me like family . Dania was good Tiffany is doing her best to run the place . However they pushed me out of the building a little fast and social worker Jennifer was not helpful at all and I didn’t get all of my meds to go home with and they sent me home not healed and ready . Sal did his best for me but I can’t stress enough that a lot of people would rather me struggle than help and lie on paperwork I wish I could turn thoses people in for there bad behavior that they did to me . Now I out here struggling to walk ect. Please just be careful . To the nurse who help me and the cna ty to social worker and managers for not following up shame on you seem like it was all about $. I would love a follow up call. I so disappointed beacuse I need d help coming out being disabled and not having family
Experiencia fantástica: Due to the closing of another facility, I needed to find a new placement for a special needs senior. I spoke to and visited several facilities. The Parc was not only welcoming but extremely professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient. At the front desk, Maya greeted us with warm words and a smile. We were then most cordially greeted by staff on move-in day and quite frankly overwhelmed by the kindness of the nurses, especially Simone who went above and beyond to secure all the necessary equipment. It was the end of her shift but she stayed to place an order for a specialized mattress to insure that it would arrive by morning on the following day. This was so comforting to witness as she prioritized the care and best interest of her patient. Brittany in the Business Office knows her job well and efficiently guided me through their process. We just had our first CarePlan meeting and Susie and her team navigated through the Parc protocol which was both impressive and comprehensive. Communication is key in achieving optimal results. This facility is clean, functions well and is not under staffed, which can be the most catastrophic deficit in a care facility. Well done! Thank you also to Carolyn Tait for steering us in the right direction.
Experiencia negativa: BEWARE- THIS PLACE IS NOT ELDERLY FRIENDLY! SOCIAL WORKER- 34 YR OLD JENNIFER C. INSINCERE, LACKLUSTER, DISPRECTFUL, LACK ACCOUNTABILITY, AND DISHONEST. ADMINISTRATOR- TIFFANY ADVISED DURING A CONFERENCE AFTER COMPLIMENTS REGARDING MY PURSE, LOOKED STRAIGHT IN MY EYES AND SAID " I PREFER YOU TO MOVE YOUR MOM SOMEWHERE ELSE. I DON'T BABYSIT STAFF AND CANNOT CONTROL HOW SHE'S TREATED"! CONVERSATION WAS RECORDED. PUBLIC AID/MEDICAID IS 2ND FLOOR REEKS OF UNRINE SMELL DAILY! WOUND CARE IS WORTHLESS!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Great staff comfortable living and very friendly people the nurses are top of the line I been in a safe place Thx Tiffany and all the staff
Experiencia negativa: The The staff here is not helpful. The wound care is great, but this place is a dump if you want to go to nursing home, not this one. My doctor wrote an order for Lipedema Wrap first they told me they could do it then they told me three weeks ago to bring my wraps and that he say they can’t do it. It’s been almost 6 weeks.
Experiencia negativa: This place is a dump I’m in here for 8 weeks!!!! Staff is Horrible
Experiencia negativa: They are lazy people who work here . I had 2boul measure and I had 1hour to be charged then at ten oclock they gave me my. Bacflen. I need it when I am doing my exercises or walking for a long time then I need it.
Experiencia fantástica: Our mom is currently at the Parc. The employees have been extremely helpful and caring. Tiffany has looked out for our family every time and is always available! This is the place to have a loved one. They will take care of them!!! I was also impressed with the cleanliness and how every morning that I walked into her room, her bed was stripped with new linens. I’m at ease knowing she’s here.
Experiencia fantástica: As a Former patient I can honestly say my experience with overall care is exceptional. I would like to rate The Parc in whole as a 5, but nothing in business is perfect. Budgets are tight, rooms need updating for long care residents and the meals are "industrial hospital" cuisine. But Care & Compassion, Staff & Response are definitely a 5 ..come to think of it I will change my score to a perfect 5 ..keep up the good work Parc
Experiencia fantástica: I have been here at the Parc for a year now and since day one I have been treated with respect, and sincere care for me and my health. The administrator, Tiffany is very personable and always has her door open to me when ever I need help with anything I really appreciate her for everything she does for me. The D.O.N and assistant D.O.N Kim and Dana have also been great to me and have taken good care and interest in my health and improvement words can’t describe how much I appreciate them. I also have to show some love to my favorite CNA’s Darshay, Tyisha, and the best Alyssa. They have also played a major part in my health and improvement they are very good at their jobs. I can also appreciate the cleanliness, and how Tim and his crew keep the Parc well maintained. Before I wrote this I gave the Parc 4 stars but they are a 5 star nursing home and I would recommend the Parc for your loved ones.
Experiencia positiva: I have been treated like a prince at " the parc" Tiffany and her star cast Of employees always have gone out of there way to Treat the residents with care and respect.
Experiencia fantástica: Not good at all some one is stealing my grandmother clothed
Experiencia fantástica: My aunt has been here for 7 months and we visit very frequently. I think the team members are WONDERFUL! If there were problem people in the past, they surely are not here anymore. There has never been any problems of theft nor could I see any of these members stealing. Phil is absolutely wonderful too. Always there, very fair and understanding. Nurses are nice. Doris along with other nurses are just amazing!!! CNAs are genuine and kind. They always have a smile saying hello and goodbye when they leave. Food is not bad. Several choices and Joe does a faniminal job listening to residents wants and concerns. Activities could be little more, but activity team is so friendly and kind. Housekeeping is always around, working their butts off, kind and efficient. And social worker Michelle is patient, understanding and wonderful as well. I think the PARC does a great job!!
Experiencia fantástica: When my mother could no longer take care of herself at home we needed to find long term placement for her. We heard about The Parc at Joliet and after coming in for a tour and getting all of my questions answered, I felt that this was the best choice for her. My mother recently passed away and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone at the Parc. She was very well cared for and comfortable staying there. We felt safe knowing that she was being taken good care of. Thank you to all the staff. I appreciate everything you have done for my mother and my family.
Experiencia fantástica: I have to agree with the reviewer Michelle. the staff was so very kind and attentive to my father. he suffered a stroke at home and was sent to St Joe hospital. although the hospital pushed us to go to the Villa Franciscan for rehab services, after less than a week at Villa, we felt he was not being cared for very well, and it smelled bad there. we left villa and went to the Parc. so glad we did. i cant tell you how happy we were from the front office people, a lovely girl named Hope (coincidence?) that helped us get admitted to the nurse director, and the physical therapist and speech therapist was great. the speech therapist was amazing, so nice and caring, she helped my father talk again and even got him back eating real food!! it took maybe 2 months for recovery, but after he recovered my father walked under his own power into our car and we drove home. we did stop at panera on the way home, he loves the bread there. thank you Parc for helping my father recover and return home.
Experiencia fantástica: Very helpful people, recently helped my brother out with transportation and coordinating several outpatient appointments. A situation that could've been difficult and stressful was handled perfectly by the staff at the parc, thank you Karen.
Experiencia fantástica: Love the staff Jennifer is Amazing!!☺️especially Tiffany the administration so helpful and know how to get a job done your loved ones are in great care here. The nurses are great Dana is a great worker and a good leader ❤️
Experiencia fantástica: Having been here for some time now, overall it has been a good stay. Tiffany, the new administrator strives to make any needed changes or improvements which help both residents and employees.
Experiencia positiva: I've been a resident of the park for almost a yearIn the year I've met a lot ofand most of them are really nice and helpful. The facility is being fixed up but understandable it needs tine to do it all. Im gonna miss alot of the people that i have met here in the past year tiffany the admin has a beautiful puppy named moose. Tiffany im gonna miss you the most
Experiencia positiva: I, like most patients/ residents, came to THE P.A.R.C. directly from hospital. Most of us are reasonably healthy older people who need to recover after sudden catastrophic type of surgery, stroke, accident, etc. When I arrived, I was in pain, ill, confused, frightened and upset. The MEDICAL STAFF dealt with my medical and emotional issues...calming my fears in the process. Their compassion, their kindness and their strength brings one back to much needed normalcy. The ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF introduce themselves individually, offering their services. Each time I've had a concern or an issue... they have LISTENED and addressed it. The PHYSICAL/ OCCUPATIONAL STAFF M
Experiencia fantástica: Im a patient here ....Tiffany and her people in charge are great especially Karen, Jennifer, Sal, Kim, and Dana. The nurses are phenomenal along with the CNA's such as Alyssa, Darshay, the 2 Patty's, Josh, Michael, David, Jennifer, Ida and everyone else. Been here more than 6 months and everything has been great....the food can is good along with the help such as Alisha, Paul, and June. I would definitely recommend this place as it's been great here. Like to send a huge Thank You to Tim, Shasta, and the housekeeping crew for doing such an exceptional job.
Experiencia negativa: Well my stay here was good and bad but the people's who really made me feel good was Ida Natalie Patty Jennifer and some First shift and Second shift really brought me out. They push you get better
Experiencia fantástica: I am so excited with all the great things happening at Parc! I have watched this facility be proactive over the last year and make changes to fit the resident and facility needs. Everyone is always available and ready to help at any given time. Kudos to you Parc!
Experiencia negativa: High patient to nurse and cna ratio
Experiencia fantástica: I had a physically and mentally challenged sister. She was at the Park for a short time for a second time. Both times they took awesome care of her! She was always dry and clean! She didn’t develop any bed sores in their care. She had limited vocabulary and would ask me questions about what she was trying to say. They would call me with any questions or concerns. Which is what I wanted. I had no issues placing her there for the second time because of the awesome care the she received the first time. The staff made me feel comfortable and loved. I strongly recommend this place for everyone who is looking for a facility to place a loved one for awesome care .
Experiencia negativa: Just...no.
Experiencia negativa: My wife was there some people cared for her. Overall, I cared and took her home. Even had a few lazy therapists and assistants.. She wanted naps but could not get help to bed but a few went past job description on help; mostly had to wait on 4:30 to nap.
Experiencia negativa: Rude Staff!
Experiencia negativa: By far the worst facility in general in Joliet!!!! My mother was there for 3 days and called me at 6am crying begging me to come and pick her up and take her home, Eventhough she wasn’t fully healed! I have been trying to get in touch with Management for over a week, regarding her lack of care and compassion! PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!
Experiencia negativa: This place should be shut down in my opinion! Care is well below average standards. The staff does not take care of the patients, they don't clean them regularly, nor do they attend to them frequently enough. When the family gets on them for improper care they have a meeting and nothing gets done. There is continuous theft at the facility and when reported they ignore it instead of monitoring it. If you have a loved one there I would visit regularly and document all improper care. God bless everyone in this facility and may the Lord be with you and your Loved ones!
Experiencia fantástica: I have been working at The Parc for almost 6 months the residents are the greatest. I came in to this position in a global pandemic and jumped head first. The staff and administrators are great. If u help them they will help you. This is just the beginning to my start at The Parc.
Experiencia fantástica: I called and asked about one of the residents and the person I talked too was so nice and helpful.
Experiencia positiva: My sister & her husband have been with the Parc for 2 years. Overall, they are pleased with the compassion they receive from the members of the team, daily. As a family member, I have stayed in touch with the staff from Administration to Nursing & Activities. My questions or concerns have always been answered and responded to professionally & timely. Our experience with overall care is exceptional. I would like to rate The Parc in whole as a 5, but nothing in business is perfect. Budgets are tight, rooms need updating for long care residents and the meals are "industrial hospital" cuisine. But Care & Compassion, Staff & Response are definitely a 5. Thank you Parc Team from the Juricic Family.
Experiencia fantástica: I called and asked about a resident and the person that answered was lovely and super helpful.
Experiencia negativa: I was at this facility for 5 days. I was there for wound care. I was supposed to have my wound cared for twice a day. I arrived from the hospital on Friday afternoon and no one looked at my wound until Monday. Also, when I would ring the bell to get on the bed pan it would take an extraordinarily long amount of time for someone to come. The longest was 2 hours. One time no one came in in time and I had a bowel movement accident and then had to lay in it for about an hour. And when my husband spoke with the administration they said the information he was giving was inaccurate. In other words we both were lying. I definitely do NOT recommend this place for anyone. I feel bad for the elderly there who do not have advocates fighting for them. I can just imagine how it is for them.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a resident at this facility since Sept. 2020 and I would not recommend this facility to anyone. This facility is severely understaffed, especially on the weekends. 2 CNAs on duty for a shift with 140 residents. Wait time to have a resident changed was in excess of an hour. In addition, I have had several valuable possessions stolen from me on multiple occasions with no help from the administrator. 2 packages were stolen right under the camera. I’m surprised this facility is still operational. Look elsewhere if you care about the wellbeing of your loved ones.
Experiencia negativa: Very old ran down facility literally falling apart on the exterior. Old windows boards over the windows the exterior paint is falling off everywhere in very rusty looking. Light volume off and broken all around the exterior. Patients families have to call the main desk to make nurses in aid help the patients because they will lay in there for a very long time pushing the button getting no help.
Experiencia negativa: Loved one fell, transferred him from wheelchair to bed pulled out gallbladder tube. On both times did not send to hospital for hours or did not even send him when he said he had a headache. When you call they either don’t answer the phone or they transfer you all around the building or to someone that doesn’t speak English or doesn’t know who you are talking about. When you ask about your loved one they say their fine without even knowing or checking. Employees stand out front smoking with no mask On and standing right next to each other and now three employees have symptoms and two patients have symptoms.
Experiencia negativa: I would rate this 0 if I could. this place is very neglectful of the patients here. I even heard a nurse yelling at a patient for asking for help. The employees here do not come when call bells are on. and if they do come after a few hours of the call light on, they come in talk about how they will come back in five minutes. then they never come back.instead are on their phones at the front desk. Horrible service here would not recommend sending anyone you love here.
Experiencia negativa: Negligent staff. Someone I know went more than a week without being bathed. He was left in only in underwear in the cafeteria. His room’s call button was broken and his sister has to keep fixing it for them because they were too lazy to call maintenance. He’s fallen several times. There are leaks in the ceiling. They are disgustingly negligent towards those who need them. I would rather die on the street like a stray dog than be there.
Experiencia fantástica: Both my grandparents resided at The PARC for some time. My grandfather admitted to the facility under hospice services and the staff was very compassionate, caring, and nice. They made sure he was clean and well-kept at all times (shaved, dressed properly, remained dry, etc.), even during his last days. My grandmother admitted for long-term care, received restorative therapy, until she was hospitalized and began receiving skilled therapy. She was at the facility for over a year, really enjoyed the therapy and thrived. My mother and I are thankful and appreciated the staff’s support, patience, and attentiveness throughout the process of my grandfather and tough acceptance of placing my grandmother into a nursing home.
Experiencia fantástica: It's a very nice facility.
Experiencia negativa: I rate this place a big fat zero I would not even put my dog is this place They will steal there love ones money, credit cards too, the staff there sucks i would fired them all
Experiencia fantástica: My review is from an employee perspective, and The Parc@ Joliet is a great place to work. As with many other work places; it has its share of peaks and valleys, however overall its a good place to grow your skill set and is rewarding considering the wonderful clients that I interface with on a daily basis. I'm currently one of the occupational therapists in the rehabilitation department and I can assure that all of the clinicians try their best with the patients at the PARC everyday to help them return to their best quality of life. Unfortunately every review of care in this venue is not positive and I'm unable to change past occurrences, but I must attest in support of the good care that takes place every day. Those hardworking employees deserve positive encouragement as well. In response to the Jados family; if there were other skilled therapy notes available, unfortunately the previous facility failed to send them. I personally called three times with the last call being made on my personal phone after work hours. I spoke with the program manager at length due to their reluctance of sending/sharing the additional documents in fear of inconsistencies in performance and inability to establish a strong baseline of function. This is not uncommon practice. I completely understood their hesitance and moved forward with the information at hand. It is at times more beneficial to establish a baseline in the new setting versus relying too strongly on previous performance to make room for physical changes as needed. I wish there was an opportunity for us to discuss this prior to the succession of events. I do wish much health and wellness to the Jados family.
Experiencia negativa: We put my mother here for post stroke rehab and it was a terrible decision from day one. I would give no stars and think this place should be shut down. - The staff was extremely unresponsive. For the first 2 weeks, the same people would tell me that she was new and they didn't know anything about her. They seemed irritated when I would ask for information or updates. When she needed something, they were less than happy to have to respond. - After a care meeting where we expressed out dissatisfaction with the care team, they seemed to improve for a day or two. Then I came in for a visit and I guess they didn't see me come in. My mom pushed the call light and we waited 30 minutes. I went to the nurses station and asked when someone would be down and they seemed surprised to see me. I went back to the room to wait and I heard the CNAs in the hallway saying "well who saw her come in, we're supposed to keep an eye out for her". So apparently their attentiveness was all a show. - She was transferred from another facility where she was walking 25-50 steps assisted. The Parc never asked for updated PT records and only went back to the prior month (don't know why they wouldn't ask for the days and weeks just before her transfer) so she basically lost weeks of therapy progress. This alone was extremely frustrating since Medicare days are numbered. - One day she was in tremendous pain and no one would do anything about it. The CNAs wouldn't some and when I could get someone in the room, they just kept saying they couldn't do anything for her and I would have to wait until someone else was available. After 20 minutes, I approached the admin office and they also refused to help. Phil was the absolute worst, clearly afraid of confrontation and basically refused to help me or my Mom because it required effort. When I told him my mother was crying out in pain he told me that the staff was assisting in the dining room and she would have to wait. I said what about my Mom, doesn't she get to eat? He then said I was acting like my Mom was more important than the other patients. I said the people getting to eat were not in pain but my Mom was and that was a terrible way to treat a patient in pain. He said he would come down with the nurse to see her but they never showed up. I found out he basically ran out the door like a coward. - When I found another place to transfer my Mom, they basically neglected to tell the other place she had Medicare coverage. Even though I was unhappy with the service, they didn't seem to want my Mom's money to go. I had to tell the other place that she did have Medicare which resulted in an immediate transfer. - After we transferred her, the Parc continued to receive and cash her social security & pension checks. Then, at some point they reported her as deceased to social security which they knew was not true. The level of dishonesty and rudeness we experienced here is totally unacceptable and this place should be shut down. The lack of professionalism, lack of care, level of staff laziness and dishonesty of this place was unbelievable. Please do not bring your loved ones here. You will be disappointed.
Experiencia negativa: The place smells like urine. I wouldn't let my dog live there.
Experiencia negativa: This place needs to be shut down!!! The second floor staff is never anywhere to be found and the orders will kill you!!! They allowed my father to fall 3 times, the last fall was from a wheelchair... If you truly love and care of your family members well being DON'T SEND THEM HERE!!!
Experiencia negativa: The rooms in this place don't seem to match anything featured in the brochure at all. The room a dear family friend was placed in looked like a ghetto mess. Nail holes in all the walls (some with a nail sticking out still), paint chipped walls. The staff neglected shower schedules allowing a patient to go 8 days without being bathed. When visitor's express any concerns to the staff of any kind the patient reported that later the staff were "taking it out on him" because they were grumpy over the visitor's inquiries. Though patients are allowed to roam free if they are able those who are unable are left in their rooms for hours without seeing a single person. I truly wish the staff at this facility were professional and educated enough to comprehend that any patients needs greatly outweigh their want to sit down and paint their nails at the nurse station. I'm giving this location ONE star because the housekeeper was kind and polite.
Experiencia fantástica: From Erin to nursing to Latesa in social work the staff has been beyond helpful and supportive! Beautiful facility inside. Gives patients full opportunity for a safe and happy supportive life. Cannot thank them enough for their efforts and care.
Experiencia positiva: Can't be more thankful for the staff at The Parc. There is a place in heaven for sure for Latesa. She is always reassuring, always comforting at the most trying times. While dealing with the MOST DIFFICULT of patients the staff continues to provide the best care and put patient needs first. The facility is very recently renovated and the new paint, tile and decor resembles a modern hotel.
Experiencia fantástica: My mom was here for rehab. She had an updated room and staff was friendly. They let your pets visit.
Experiencia negativa: It sucks
Experiencia negativa: My mom is currently recuperating there after shattered her hip. I am in the process of transfering her iut before she gets an infection and I lose her. Erin was wonderful and assisted with putting her in a newly remodeled room . The decor furniture and bathroom are picture perfect. My mom has been there 5 days. Everyday we are given empty promises by some employee.problems ; the place reeks of urine. When she calls for bed pan they take so long she urinates on herself and or then she is left to sit there for hours . Other times she is put on bedpan and forgotten about. They dont rinse the bed pans and i have to soak to get them clean. Her bed and pillow cases are wet and or stained in urine. The food is horrible. I have had to take canned foods .They never have wash cloths i have taken some from home only to have them dissapear. They had to replace they tray table not once or twice bit 3 times. In 5 days i have never come into the room (I visit daily) never found water container with ice water. Today was totally empty. I always fill. They fill out of water cooler which i dont feel is hygenic because i have seen them put another patients pitcher in to scoop out the ice and (melted ice) water. It is really a sad situation. It is hard to have a loved one enduring a health challange without the added stress. There are no phones for patients. Yesterday we some with Phil the adminisfrator he shook my mom's hand and promised to address our concerns. Today I get there there is water everywhere. The blinds are as dirty as they were yesterday. Her bed was not adjusted as he promised yesterday and when I asked he responds he wasn't there today. How do you give your word that something will be taken care of shake an elderly person's hand and then not care. Its really sad and i can't wait to get her out of there. Sandra
Experiencia negativa: This place was rude and neglected my mother. Refused to assist her when she called for help to bathroom. Very bad place to bring your loved ones here. We transferred her out from this place after 1 night!
Experiencia negativa: The facility was outdated, dark, and depressing. My grandmother was here on hospice care, and the only reason I tolerated her staying here is she had a 24 hour hospice nurse from the Hospice House of Joliet nearby. None of the nurses or front desk talk with one another, and nobody bothered reading my grandmother's file. She had it noted her husband was banned and all power was to my father yet they still decided to call her husband. When we visited, one of the nurses had dropped an oxycontin on the floor and didn't bother picking it up. Staff is unprofessional. When my grandmother passed, they were uncompassionate and rushed my aunt to pick a place to transfer her body. The only reason we were here was because the Hospice House of Joliet was full. If you love your family don't let them here. Go to Hospice House instead.
Experiencia negativa: Horrible! Aweful care!!! Do not let your love one stay here! Most nurses are rude, arrogant, and act like you are bothering them when you buz for them. Actually had a nurse tell me she already told my siblings the answer to my question days ago and she wasn't going to say it again. No one comes and checks on patients. Dirty floors & bathrooms. Good luck getting anyone to help if you have to go to the bathroom or need anything! Food is horrible! DO NOT LET YOUR LOVE ONE STAY HERE!!!!
Experiencia negativa: The 2nd floor nursing staff is EXTREMELY POOR - virtually no evidence of NURSING CARE - lots of evidence they DON'T CARE. They dispense medicine. Nursing administrators and supervisors care less. Administration poor. Some wonderful aides - some not so wonderful. They transfer residents, without notice, to the 2nd floor. Ask to see that floor before you have someone you care about admitted here.
Experiencia negativa: My mom has been at the park for 2.5yrs and it's really a terrible place.. The care is very poor and staff seem very unhappy and lazy..my mom has been robbed money 8-10 times and nothing is done about.. One of the staff is a thief..I feel guilt that my mom is their..I have called the police many times. Still nothing is done.. One time they stole her bank card and went White Castle for lunch..totally unacceptable.. This place should be shut done because criminals are allowed to work there..
Experiencia negativa: This place used to be called "Fairview Care Center," and it was atrocious, absolutely shameful facility. They are currently being sued for criminal negligence. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS FACILITY, even if it IS under a new name or new management.
Experiencia negativa: Management really sucks. They showed the 1st floor them move the residents to the nasty, dirty 2nd floor. The social workers are incompetent. The one on the first floor lost my moms paperwork 3 times. She has yet to send transfer papers. I do not recommend this facility at all.
